A Masterpiece That Made Our Day
I cannot recommend Sabe a Gloria enough! We ordered a cake for Wedding event, and it was the absolute highlight of the party. It was a true masterpiece—stunningly beautiful on the outside with such intricate detail. But the best part was that it tasted even better than it looked! The cake was incredibly moist and the flavor was out of this world. Our guests couldn't stop raving about it, and there wasn't a single crumb left by the end of the night. Thank you for making our celebration so special!

People still talk about the cake
Although she has options for your traditional wedding cakes, we decided to go with a cut cake that was not displayed but served to all of our guests. We even decided to do this fairly last minute and Gloria's team was able to make our dreams come true. We had a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and I still dream about it. To this day, so many people tell us it was the best chocolate cake they've ever had (not even just a wedding cake). We're so thankful we had her as part of our special day!

The best cake ever
The hardest thing about working with Gloria was deciding on cake flavors after sampling her delicious creations. Each flavor was absolutely incredible. We finally decided on a guava layer with vanilla buttercream and a grand marnier layer with almond buttercream. We selected a semi-naked cake that was absolutely stunning and held up beautifully during our outdoor Puerto Rico wedding in July. We brought the top layer home to Tennessee with us, and it tasted just as good, if not better, two days later. It's evident that Gloria's cakes are made with pride and love. Our cake was divine, and we couldn't have asked for better services or for anything more delicious. If you're looking for a wedding cake in Puerto Rico, you simply must go with Gloria. Not only the best wedding cake, but also the best cake we have ever had in general.

The Perfect Cake
I'm so happy I found Gloria at the recommendation of my wedding planner. I was looking for a wedding cake that was simple, classic, and delicious. Since I was planning from afar and couldn't do a tasting, I trusted the reviews and recommendations from my planner. I went with the royal wedding (brandy) and vanilla, and it was excellent. Multiple guests told it was the best wedding cake they've ever had, and held its moisture really well. We had a decent amount of cake leftover which friends & family helped me continue to enjoy in the following days. I loved this cake so much and was sad to leave some leftovers behind upon leaving PR.

Best cake to date
By far the best wedding cake I've ever had, and even though I'm biased because it was OUR cake, I still think its true. We had brandy and red velvet flavors and both were delicious and moist! The fondant was held on with a layer of frosting which only added to the flavor. The fondant itself was even tasty!! The cake was gorgeous and communication was impeccable.

Absolutely Amazed!!
It was such a pleasure to work with this company. Gloria was amazing. She answered all my questions and emails in a timely manner and her prices were affordable. I gave her a picture a picture of what I wanted and my wedding cake looked exactly like the picture. The cake was absolutely delicious. My guests raved about the look and taste of the cake. Everyone wanted a slice to take home.

Gloria’s cakes are the best tasting cakes in PR ! Once we did our tasting we knew that we found our wedding cake flavors. Make sure to try Guava, it will satisfy every taste bud you have. Best tasting cake
Gloria was extremely professional to work with and has a talent for baking like no other. The wedding cake was three tiers and looked amazing. I didn’t do a taste test due to my crazy schedule but was so happy I didn’t. Our first bite and my husband and I both said “ wow, this is so good”. The cake tasted so rich and moist with every bite. My husband isn’t really a cake person and he just wanted to keep eating it. Everyone complimented on how delicious it was and they’re still talking to me about it a week later. Will be ordering from Sabe a Gloria again.

A Cake From Heaven
Everybody eat the cake and kept asking for seconds -- it was so freaking good that a day after the wedding they were asking for the contact and who made such a tasty cake. Amazing cake!
We are so happy we hired Gloria. We did a cake tasting with 5 vendors when we visited Puerto Rico a year prior to our wedding and her cake was the most moist and flavorful of them all. She made us a 3 tier cake. Carrot cake and Italian creme, all of our guests raved about how good it was! We were lucky enough to save the top layer, both my husband and I are it for the next few days!

A sweet treat

Meeting and working with Gloria was very easy and a fun experience. She let us taste the flavors we were interested in during our meeting and all the options were delicious. Looked and tasted Amazing!
I ordered a 3 tier cake with different flavors for each tier (rum, pineapple & coconut) along with a dozen chocolate & vanilla cupcakes. I provided a picture of how I wanted it decorated and Gloria didn’t disappoint! Everything looked and tasted amazing! I was hoping to have some more cake later on that night but it was all gone!

Lo más importante para nosotros al escoger nuestro bizcocho de bodas era el sabor, que fuese sabroso. Queríamos sabor tradicional de bodas (de Brandy) que es mi favorito. Me recuerda cuando era pequeña y mi abuela de dedicaba a hacer bizcocho de bodas. ¡Añoraba ese sabor! Hicimos tasting con Gloria y nos enamoramos de su bizcocho de Brandy. ¡Contratamos al momento! Being that we had a destination wedding planned remotely within a few months, we didnt have a chance to do a tasting. We chose Gloria based on reviews and responsiveness. And we are so glad we did! Gloria was very professional, accessible and the whole process was very smooth. I just emailed a few photos of what we were looking for and what we saw on our wedding day was exactly what I had in mind! Then when I took that first bite, I was simply blown away. It was SO GOOD! Our guests raved that it was some of the best cake they'd had in their lives. I was even able to fly some back home and had the best breakfast ever :) Her prices were reasonable, baking skills undeniable and our overall experience fantastic!

I went to Gloria with a vision of the cake I wanted. Did the cake taste and it was delicious, our special day arrived and the cake was all talk with our guests of how delicious it was. We booked Gloria very last minute - about a week and a half before the ceremony. She provided us with a beautiful three tier naked cake. We added the lights and flowers on our own because it was rushed, but under normal circumstances she would be able to provide these. And most important - the cake was delicious!

We have used Gloria before for our Wedding and my husband's birthday cakes. So this time was my 50th birthday and I wanted her cake to celebrate my special day. She made the most beautiful cake and our favorite flavor coconut. We also decided to celebrate our son's 21st birthday the same day and she make this beautiful sky diving cake that everybody loved. People kept complimenting how beautiful the cakes were and when they tasted it they came back with not only they look good they taste amazing. Thanks to Gloria for giving us such beautiful cakes. I found Gloria here on Wedding Wire and she was very responsive to all of my questions. She was super flexible and sent us samples of her cakes to the hotel we were staying at when we were in Puerto Rico a couple months before the wedding for a quick getaway. I sent her a few pictures of what my vision was and what our general theme for the wedding and seeing our cake & cupcakes the day of met all of my expectations. She does beautiful work and above the decoration, the cake itself tasted amazing! I think I probably ate three of our cupcakes the night of the wedding (it had been a few months since I'd had any sugary treats, give me a break :) ) and we flew our one tier cake back to St. Croix with us. We both dug into the cake a few days later and it was just as good as the cupcakes were the day of. I highly recommend using Gloria.

I have known Gloria for years, she made cakes for weddings I planned. When it came to my wedding there was no doubt in my mind of who was making our wedding cake. Gloria's cakes are amazing, delicious....to die for. She has such art as well, her creations are impecable and its a shame to cut them but once you take a bite, you forget all about it! We enlisted Gloria's help with our wedding cake from a far and booked completely blind without any tastings. We were so AMAZED by her cake on our big day. We chose three different flavors for the cake (Vanilla, Chocolate Decadent, and Coconut Passionfruit) and each layer was so amazing! Our guests were buzzing about the yumminess. We used Gloria for our wedding in San Juan, Puerto Rico in October 2016, and it was an amazing experience. We had a destination wedding, so I was emailing her different pictures with ideas of what I wanted. She was so flexible with me changing my mind, and adding details at the last minute. She even let us do a tasting when we visited 3 months before the wedding, and it was complimentary. Our cake at the wedding was not only a delicious traditional Puerto Rican rum cake, but it was BEAUTIFUL. It was simple and elegant, and exactly what I wanted. I truly cannot thank her enough for making such a beautiful cake, and at an affordable price. She was always available by email, and I didn't even need to pick up the phone to call her. I cannot recommend her enough, she's professional, talented, and dependable. What more can you ask for when you're planning a destination wedding all the way from Texas lol!

Sabe a... Gloria is fantastic! Every single cake taste we tried was just amazing! Finally we took Piña Colada (representing Puerto Rico) and dark chocolate (representing Switzerland where I am from). It is not easy to satisfy a Swiss with non-swiss chocolate but this cake topped all my expectations. Our wedding cake had a painted world map which was so delicate and matched perfectly our "around the world" theme. I couldn't ask for a more beautiful wedding cake. There came a lot of guests during the wedding and told us about the best cake they've ever eaten!! :-)

Our cake was delicious! We wanted a cake shaped like a lighthouse but sparkly, so I sent three pictures of three different cakes and asked Gloria to put them together with details I loved from them. I wasn't sure what the end result would be, but I took a chance with Gloria because she had such excellent cakes on her website. Our wedding cake was more beautiful then we could imagine! We received many compliments! We had a layer of red velvet, cheese, and vanilla and they were awesome!

I had never ever had a piece of good wedding cake and assumed my wedding would be no different.... Until now. This was the BEST cake I have ever had. Period. Every one of my 34 guests said the same thing. We have been joking with everyone since the wedding because our guests were actually sneaking around like theives taking pieces of cake from where other people were sitting. It was hilarious. People were coming up to us to tell us how amazing the cake was and then we would see them searching the tables to take other guests' cake before they came and sat down. We had guests come the next night to our room to have some of the cake we tried to save for ourselves. Really... The cake was fantastic. Perfect amount of frosting and so delicious too. We had coconut and the white chocolate. Everyone who had the coconut loved the coconut, everyone who had the white chocolate loved the white chocolate. Luckily, I had both!!!! Thank you thank you thank you for the best wedding cake (and most beautiful) I have ever tasted.

We were unsure whether we wanted to have a wedding cake at all, so when we finally had decided it was a few months out from our wedding. I emailed Gloria and she was wonderful. She answered all my questions and made our cake look AMAZING! I was a little nervous as we couldn't do a tasting, but I trusted in my wedding coordinator who had recommended her to us as well as all the reviews. We were not disappointed. I only remember the 1 bite from my wedding cake, but ti was DELICIOUS! Unfortunately they left over pieces never made it back to our hotel room so I didn't get to have more. I had sent in 2 pictures showing what i wanted and she designed the cake beautifully. We only had 26 ppl at our wedding so I had the single layered chocolate cake.

Delicious and beautiful!!
We met with three people when selecting our cake, and while each of the vendors were delicious we chose Gloria because of her unique flavors and incredible homemade frosting. Gloria was great to work with, and very reliable.
We chose the naked cake and were absolutely in love with the final result. It was so gorgeous all of the guests commented on it. We heard that one of the guests actually mined all of the frosting out of the cake at the end of the night because he loved it so much. When do you hear that about frosting?
We only wish we could have given Gloria a hug, but like a ninja, she set up the cake and was on our her way before we could even say hello.
Do your guests a favor and let them get some of that Sabe a Gloria flavor!

Simple said, really really good cake. My husband has a complete sweet tooth and I think it was his favorite part of the wedding (other than marrying me of course :). During the tasting, we tried 10 different flavors instead of five for a small extra surcharge and it was a great investment since my husband is absolutely in love with her cakes. We ended up choosing Pina Colada, Grand Marnier and Godiva White Chocolate. Our only regret is that we didn't have time to try all three at the wedding. Cake was also beautiful and delivered on time!

My mom and I met Gloria at a wedding expo in Plaza Las Americas. I was very impressed with the cakes she had brought (they looked amazing and the samples we tried were delicious), and was hoping she would be able to work with us to create a wedding cake that would suit our taste and style, and of course our budget. Gloria definitely delivered, as she proved to be one of the best vendors we worked with! She was very receptive of my requests and preferences, and gave it her all to make sure I had the cake of my dreams for our wedding! Gloria is a pleasure to work with -she is full of joy and creativity, she is also very polite and professional. Our wedding cake was delicious and beautiful! We thank Gloria and wish her all the best and we definitely recommend her 100%!
P.S. - After the wedding, my mom worked with Gloria to have "mini wedding cakes" made for some of the guests who couldn't attend. Needless to say, the cakes were delicious and looked lovely, and the guests absolutely loved them!

I met Gloria by chance... When I was visiting two potential venues for my wedding, Gloria was setting up wedding cakes. So I was able to see her in action... very responsible and meticulous with her work. Finally, I tried her cakes in a wedding expo. I was hooked! After the tasting, my husband and I decided on the following flavors: guayaba, cheese and coconut. The cake looked beautiful and exactly how we talked about. Gloria from the beginning treat us like family. When we tested the samples were delighted. She have the patience to work with an indecisive bride and answered every one of my questions. We show her many style we wanted, when we see the cake it was just perfect. She added every detail from the exact color to the sacking. Not only that, wedding was outdoors, it rained immensely and the cake was intact, nothing fell off you can't even noticed moisture in the fondant. The cake was not only beautiful, the taste was spectacular, ours was guava and amaretto. I have to admit that Gloria's cakes are the best ones I have ever taste.
After our wedding she also prepare the wedding cake for my mother-in-law and it was also beautiful and tasty. The best of Gloria is not only the art that she has, but the quality of person she is. We recommend it with closed eyes and she will continue doing all of our cakes.

“Sabe a Gloria” catched my husband and I with her delicious cake tasting at the Bridal Expo 2012 in San Juan, PR. There were more sellers of cake in the expo, but something kept our attention in her booth, a cake very similar what we wanted in our wedding cake and what I mention before, the delicious cake tasting. So without thinking, we asked her if she had our wedding date available. We separate the date and we agreed to go home to make the contract and let her know what we wanted. Gloria is very approachable and friendly at all times either by telephone, email or Facebook. Our wedding cake was 5 floors and a green gradient effect with a peony flower created by her. The flavour was amaretto. The reality is that I was anxious to see the result on the day of our wedding, we did not know how it would be and she had not done anything like this before and the truth that we were not disappointed. The cake was gorgeous, detail and professionalism is evident in Gloria’s cakes. Guests like us loved the cake and the delicious taste. Some people asked me who was the person who made the cake and we provided to them the contact information. People said he had not tasted anything so rich. This year my sister ordered a cake for her baby shower with vanilla flavour. It was beautiful the cake, as always did not amazes me the great work done in each of her confections... And the taste is "Sabe a Gloria". I highly recommended “Sabe a Gloria” for any occasion! I continue to recommend her to everyone I know.

Love at first bite!
We met Gloria through our wedding planner, Madeline Valentin. As with everyone else she introduced us to, Gloria was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. She was very responsive and patient with me when explaining what designs would work best for our environment and wedding theme.
Not only was her wedding cake exactly what I asked her to create but it was de-li-cious! It was so beautiful it could have served as another piece of decor and it was so fresh that I ate it for days after the wedding. I cannot wait to unfreeze the top for my one year anniversary so I could taste it again.
I highly recommend Gloria, she is a very talented artist and a fantastic baker. If I have the opportunity, I will absolutely work with her again.

After contacting several cake shops who were either booked or did not respond, I found Gloria here on weddingwire, and I'm so glad that I did! Our wedding was a destination wedding, meaning that we were 3,000 miles away from a place we had never been to prior to our wedding. I was so excited when Gloria told me that she could ship me cake samples to taste! Everything was delicious and moist, and we decided on not one, but THREE different flavors for our cake: traditional almond, chocolate decadence, and passion fruit-coconut. Our guests LOVED that they had different cakes to choose from, and everyone wanted to know how we found this cake shop! Guests were also commenting on the fondant. Sometimes, fondant doesn't have a lot of flavor, but Gloria's fondant is sweet and delicious! We weren't able to take the top layer of our cake back home to California with us, but we were able to enjoy it for another 2 nights after the wedding day with our guests! It was still moist, fresh, and delicious. It was so good, we had guests asking if we had any more left!
Something else I should point out, is that we requested a very custom cake. I literally drew a basic stick-figure cake and send a photo of it to Gloria, and she created a masterpiece that was delicious in taste and deep in meeting as to how my husband and I first met. Gloria is a pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend both her and her cakes!

From the beginning, Gloria understood our wedding decor style (rustic) and after a few e-mails concerning our style preference, she created a BEAUTIFUL CAKE implementing all of what we wanted. She worked alongside our florists to place real flowers in the cake. Our guests are still talking about how good the cake was, some of them even had more than 1 piece! To be perfectly honest, I was a bit scared about how my wedding cake would turn out. I had a small wedding requiring a small cake and I had not found the perfect cake. Most amazing cakes I had seen so far were huge but I did not need something like that. Also, I was doing all arrangements from San Diego, CA. So I would not get a chance to go cake tasting. When I talked to Gloria, I told her that I had no clear idea of what I wanted. So I ended up sending her various cake pictures, each having a feature I liked about the cake. Gloria was able to combine a the different features I liked from different cakes into one single cake. My wedding cake was small but still elegant, beautiful, and really just stunning. Gloria met with us for a tasting and we had a hard time deciding the flavor so she baked another flavor for us to choose. We selected the coconut and everybody love it. We wanted something rustic and vintage and she was able to join both concepts in our cake.
The delivery was very early and the setup perfect. Thanks for making our wedding cake. People kept asking for more.

I just have to brag about how awesome our cake was - not only did it look great but it tasted even better! Gloria went out of her way to ship us tastings to California from Puerto Rico, when we asked for slight modifications to the icing for the wedding she was happy to make the changes and it was perfect for the wedding.
We chose Guava and Buttermilk - amazing, everyone loved the cake. The cake was moist and so flavorful. Thanks so much Gloria

I ordered my wedding cake through this company and she did a wonderful job. I sent her a picture of what I wanted and I got exactly that. The guests also complimented on how delicious it was.

I recommend you use Gloria for any of your upcoming events. Gloria created our wedding cake. It was EXACTLY like the picture we supplied - just gorgeous. Our guests all commented on how beautiful and delicious our cake was.
We had a destination wedding and we did not know any vendors in the area, nor did we have the luxury of taste testing her creations. Yet, everything worked out as envisioned. Throughout the process Gloria was responsive, professional and a joy to work with. She helped make it a stress free day so we could enjoy every minute of our big day.

This wedding cake was not only DELICIOUS but FLAWLESS in decoration execution... th eorchids looked like they had just been cut from the stem!!! Amazingly PERFECT!!
Sabe a Gloria 's cakes are literally TO DIE FOR... my cake had 3 layers... Amaretto, Guava, and my husbands personal favorite, Chocolate. HIGHLY recommend this company not only for weddings but FOR EVERY occasion... she is in charge of ALL the cakes of every event I plan!!!

Whatever flavor you choose you can’t go wrong, all of them taste amazing! We ended up going with red velvet, carrot cake, and passion fruit coconut (my fave!). The cake was simple yet beautiful, just what we wanted.

Amazing Gluten Free Cake
Gloria's cakes are the most delicious gluten free cakes my wife and I have ever tried. After organising a tasting with Gloria, our wedding cake became one of the details of our wedding we most looked forward to. We ended up ordering cupcakes for our guests and a small 6-inch guava cake with buttercream frosting as our wedding cake. Hire Gloria, you won't regret it.

What you need to know: the cakes by Gloria are outstanding and her service is great. She's super nice and had us over to her home for a tasting of some cakes - they were amazing and we booked her right away. In particular, we were blown away by her gluten free cakes, which were better than most regular cakes we've ever had. We ended up doing an assortment of gluten free and regular cakes, and they all turned out beautiful and delicious. No problems at all with things like ordering, paying, or the delivery. Highly recommended!!

Gloria was a pleasure to work with! She is super hands-on and very accommodating. Unfortunately, I missed out on the cake/cupcakes at the wedding, but the cupcakes we tried at our tasting a year ago were amazing.

The customer service I received from this place was great. Although my wedding never took place, I would definitely consider Gloria again and refer others just because her customer service was so good. She was very considerate and patient with me.

Elegant Wedding Cake
Our wedding cake was a bit different than the inspiration picture we sent but was beautiful regardless! The guests like the marble flavor. It was a very elegant cake.

Responsive and met expectations
Overall, the cake was good, but there were a few things that didn't go as planned. I was a little disappointed with the taste of the chocolate layer (was quite dry); I remember biting into it during the cake-cutting and hoping our guests received the other layers. (The passionfruit coconut layer, on the other hand, tasted AMAZING!) Also, I sent a photo of exactly how I wanted the cake to look (unsymmetrical frosting and flowers placed diagonally) and although the end product was pretty, it was not quite what I requested. Overall, I would still go with Gloria for the wedding cake because she was very responsive and was able to rent us a cake stand last minute.

Greedy Gloria...
Due to COVID-19 we had no choice but to cancel our destination wedding in PR (like many others around the world). We needed to terminate our contracts with all of our vendors - keep in mind this is months in advance of the wedding date. Gloria declined to return any of our money back to us. My hard earned money that I deposited to Gloria in good faith that she would make a beautiful cake for our wedding. Which now won’t happen. I understand the wedding industry is hurting too, so we offered for her to keep half the deposit (even though that’s a lot of money to keep for just writing a quote....) and to return half of our deposit back to us, to meet us halfway so we both can benefit. She refused again. I do not recommend anyone enters any contract with Gloria or prepay any money as your money will not be in good hands. To put this in perspective - almost all of our other vendors in PR were willing to work with us and return our money, except for her. Choose your vendors wisely. There are many other bakers in PR....
