Sam was the absolute best! He went above and beyond what we hired him for, he was the life of the party! Best Photographer ever!

Sam is an incredible photographer with amazing talent. We hired him to shoot our wedding and I am so glad we did. He is personable and easy to work with and our families loved him. He brought great energy and had us laughing and smiling throughout all of our pictures! We got our pictures back this week and my husband and I are so happy with the results. He captured every single moment, things I would have never even thought of, and every moment is captured beautifully. He really used all the venue had to offer and turned it into magical pictures. Each picture is different and more beautiful than the next. They are more than just your ordinary wedding photos, they are artistic and elegant and completely captured our story. I couldn’t have asked for more amazing pictures! Thank you so much for telling our story and giving us such beautiful memories!

One of a kind Photographer

My Husband and I chose Sam to be our photographer for our wedding and he exceeded our expectations greatly. Not only did his pictures come out amazing, but he made our day special. He loves his work and brought an incredible amount of enthusiasm to the table, which effected everyone else involved in our wedding in a positive way. He stayed with me for the entire day and made sure not to miss any important moments.

Anytime I had a concern or a question for him, I always got an answer within a couple of hours, which really meant a lot to us. His final product, our wedding album, was nothing short of a masterpiece. He was with us for 13 hours and truly did not miss a moment. If pictures and memories mean a lot to you and your significant other, Sam Rodriguez is the best candidate to be your wedding photographer.

Sam is an excellent photographer and a wonderful person! We were so thrilled to have Sam photograph our wedding. We knew that we wanted Sam after meeting him at a bridal show and seeing his beautiful work. Sam was our guide throughout our entire day – the WHOLE day. He was with us bright and early at the salon and stayed through to the very last song. Sam was so much fun to be with all day. He knew all the spots he wanted to shoot and was amazing at making sure we got photos at all the places we wanted (including a photo on the couch at Johnny’s Bagels on Main Street Bethlehem). Sam is so creative that any posed shots felt natural Sam’s calming and positive energy was greatly appreciated by all of us, and he blended right into the party.

We received so many compliments after our wedding about the “dancing photographer”, who kept our party going and captured so many amazing moments throughout our day. We cannot wait to see all the beautiful photos (our preview photo was STUNNING!!!) and our album-they will be treasured for years to come and it’s all thanks to Sam!

I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the service we receive from Sam on our wedding day! I have wanted Sam as our photographer since I first saw his photos years ago, and it was a dream come true to work with him! He did our engagement photos which were gorgeous and I am so excited to see all the great photos he got on our big day! He came early to capture some getting ready moments and stayed late to ensure nothing was missed. You cannot go wrong with SR Wedding Story... on the most important day of your life, make sure you have the best photographer— Sam!! Sam is an amazing photographer! We had both Sam and his colleque at our wedding. My husband and I met Sam at my twin sister's wedding. My sister had been talking to a few photographers and fell in love with Sam's demeanor and portfolio. My "boyfriend" at the time was in her wedding. That day, I joked with Sam about how I was ready to get married. He kept telling me the time would happen. Later that night, during the bouquet toss, Sam captured photos of us getting engaged (he knew this was happening). Two years later, Sam captured photos of us getting married on our big day. My husband was not into wedding planning. I asked him about vendors and he said he would take care of photography. When asking why he wanted to take photography, he quickly responded with "we are absolutely using Sam". I totally agreed. I had looked at other portfolios but kept coming back to Sam's work. I mean his work speaks for itself? It's amazing! In our head it was no choice! Besides the fact that Sam was there for our engagement. He took absolutely breathe taking pictures of my sister and her husband. He was fun to be around the whole night! That was something that was important to me. His work is top notch! He is outgoing, funny, and great at what he does! I only wish I could have Sam capture all the moments of my life! However, I know we will keep in touch. I can't wait to see the photos of our big day! I continue to recommend Sam to all brides.

We could not have chosen a better photographer than Sam for our wedding!!! He not only took incredible photos, but he was such a BLAST to hang out with that day! He definitely made the day run smoothly and captured EVERY moment that we wanted to be captured. Every time we saw another memorable thing happened we turned and there was Sam snapping away! I wish that I could express how amazing our experience was because 5 stars truly is not enough, especially with the amount of questions and concerns we had- he handled it so well!

We LOVE Sam! Sam was so much fun to work with. He made us feel comfortable getting our pictures taken for both our engagement and wedding photos. Not only is Sam fun, but extremely talented! Everyone in our bridal party enjoyed hanging with Sam during the reception. Sam is very experienced and really does want to capture your special day. We cannot thank Sam and Will enough for going above and beyond to ensure that our special day was perfect! We knew that we wanted Sam as our photographer after he photographed my best friend’s wedding. The photos were breathtakingly beautiful and I knew that he was the one we wanted to capture our special day. We recently had our engagement session with Sam maybe about 3 months ago. I should have commented much sooner but I'm busy planning my wedding! Anyway, Sam was great, we couldn't have had a better photo shoot. We had a few planning issues on our end that caused some hiccups but Sam just rolled with it. Looking for a wedding photographer was a very daunting task for me. I had received a lot of recommendations from friends on who they used, and none seemed to quite fit what I was looking for, whether it be the price, the package offered, or the time packages (unlimited photography vs. 8 hours of wedding shot photography). I stumbled across Sam's business, S.R. WeddingStory on Facebook, as he photographed a friend's wedding and I liked the quality of the photos he had posted after the wedding. Sam responded very quickly to my initial inquiry email, and set up a meeting in a location convenient to me, even though it caused him to have a bit of a drive. I was impressed by the quality of Sam's photos at our first meeting, and liked his laid-back personality; when deciding on packages and types of albums to choose from, Sam never pressured me to choose the most expensive package. His prices were the most reasonable of any photographer I had researched prior, included unlimited photography for the entire day, and had multiple little deals included with the packages; I decided on the complimentary second photographer.

I am happy to report that Sam more than lived up to his end of the deal. He spent 12+ hours with us for the wedding. In the days following the wedding, my husband and I received so much positive feedback from our guests on his style and personality. I have had numerous people (including the priest) tell us how tastefully he shot photographs in the church to respect the sanctity of the Mass, that both Sam and second photographer William were great at the reception by getting involved on the dancefloor and getting so many action/party shots, and neither photographer looked bored or disinterested throughout the long day. The one teaser photograph I saw turned out beautifully, and I cannot wait to see the rest of the photos. I can't recommend Sam and S.R. WeddingStory enough!

If you are looking for a creative, energetic and passionate wedding photographer, Sam Rodriguez is your guy. He showed up in the morning for 'getting ready' shots, and stayed through the end of the reception to capture every moment along the way. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sam Rodriguez and S.R. Wedding Story. He was our photographer at our June wedding and we could not be more pleased with our pictures!! From the first time we met Sam, we knew his bubbly personality and amazing talent for photography was something we had to have for our special day. From the beginning, Sam was flexible, easy to contact frequently, and always made us feel like a priority. He shot our engagement pictures and wedding photos and both were absolutely stunning. It POURED from the time we woke up to the time we went to sleep on our wedding day, and by looking at our pictures you would never know!!! I was so upset that it was raining on our day, but Sam quickly made us realize that we needed to embrace the situation and make the best of it. Our guests absolutely loved Sam and it was like he was part of the family! Our pictures look like something from a magazine - the detail that he put into our pictures and album is something that we will truly cherish forever. We cannot thank him enough for capturing our day so beautifully, and I would recommend him to every single bride!!!!

Sam was very professional on the day of the wedding! We had a blast with our E-shoot in Philadelphia! On our wedding day, it was very cold since it was the winter and he was very quick and efficient with pictures outside! From the first time i spoke with Sam, I knew he would be the perfect photographer for our wedding. I love the style and look of his pictures and find his prices to be very fair for the quality and services he provides. He is very easy going and laid back. Sam spent most of the day with us from getting ready to our send off, yet he blended in with the guests so well after the "formal" pictures that you barely knew there was a photographer there, which is nice and makes for great pictures. Hiring Sam was the absolute best decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the moment I saw his photos I knew I had to book him. My husband and I flew to NYC for a weekend for our engagement photo shoot and had the best time ever. Sam made us feel comfortable throughout the entire day as we went to many different parts of the city. He knew exactly where to take us and how to make us feel as if there was no camera around. The quality and time that he spent with us was priceless.

One year later, Sam flew to Florida for our wedding. It was truly a fairy tale and he was there to capture each and every moment. He was very attentive to our family needs and the specific shots that we wanted. When received our prints and album we were in tears! From the second we met Sam, we knew that we had to have him as our photographer. He could not have been better. It was the best decision we made! We did an engagement session with him and he came to New York on a random Tuesday night and spent a lot of time with us. He is very comfortable with himself, which makes it so easy to talk to him and work with him in general. Then, on the day of our wedding he was with us for over 12 hours. The hair people showed up to the hotel around 10 and he was there too. It was awesome because everyone got to know him a bit before the festivities really began. The amount of compliments we got on how awesome Sam was are uncountable. Everyone loved him! We highly recommend Sam. He made our wedding day less stressful. Oh, and he also takes AWESOME PICTURES!!! Sam has such a talent and we can't thank him enough for telling our Wedding Story.

Where do I even begin with Sam. If I could give him a higher rating, I would. I've known Sam and his work for 4 years now, having met him when he did the photography for my cousin's wedding. I loved the way he blended into the wedding, with the guests, and everything going on--I remember at one point thinking he left the reception! He blends in and you don't even realize he is there.

Fast forward 3 years to my own wedding planning, I knew Sam would be the first photographer I called. As it turns out, he was the only one I called! He came to my parent's house and showed us all of his work. He shared personal anecdotes about how he captures moments, the way he works, and how he tells your wedding story.

My fiance and I had our engagement shoot at Barnegat Light on Long Beach Island in New Jersey. We were very awkward for the first few shots, but Sam has a natural ability to make you completely relaxed, and he captured some incredible moments. He was spontaneous, and as the light changed, he knew just where to move us, how to position us...it was incredible. By the end of the shoot we actually forgot he was there. Which is saying something since it was just the three of us! The pictures came out beautifully, and it was a lot of fun.
On our wedding day we had both Sam and Miguel. They are wonderful to work with! I felt so comfortable and relaxed working with both of them. They blended right in with my family and friends and I truly forgot they were there. I never felt imposed upon, or pulled away from my family in order to get certain photos. Our formal shots were done very quickly and efficiently. His goal is for you to enjoy your wedding day, with your new spouse, while he captures every moment. And he does it beautifully. My only regret is that I cannot have Sam attend all of my family functions and vacations. He has such a talent.

Sam photographed my wedding this past wedding and I honestly can not speak highly enough of him!!! He was the first vendor I booked for my whole wedding. I had been stalking his work online for some time and then met him at an open house. I was planning on booking him just based on his work alone but then I met him and could not be more pleased at how awesome he was in person. He was so fun and fit in with all of us so well. I truly enjoyed having him with me the day of the wedding while getting ready!! He was so relaxed with all of us and really had a calming effect on me, as well. He had beautiful ideas for pictures and did not make us do anything cheesy. My husband really appreciated how he was efficient and didn't make us spend a ton of time doing poses since our cocktail hour was being held while we took our formal shots. I'm sure he would accommodate every bride's wishes for how many formal shots to take but he was very receptive to our desire to focus more on "action" shots. I was also so impressed about how he was "everywhere" during our reception. At one point my husband's friends lifted him and I into the air and I look up to see that Sam has sprinted up the stairs to take an action shot from above the scene. He is truly a joy to work with and from the preview of the shots he took, I am sure we will be beyond pleased with the final product. I absolutely HIGHLY recommend Sam!!!!

Sam was by far the best photographer that we could have chosen for our wedding. He not only had taken exceptional photos from our engagement session but as well as our wedding. Every single relative and friend that has seen our photos has said that they are the best pictures from a wedding that they have seen. He captured each moment perfectly - from getting ready, to walking down the isle, to saying our goodbyes to our guests.

He was at my house over an hour before we requested him which I ended up being so thankful for because their are so many moments that occurred that I most likely would not have remembered if he was not there (trust me - your wedding day flies by). He made both myself and all of my bridesmaids feel so comfortable the entire time which created such natural pictures.

No matter what time I would send Sam an email in regards to when we would receive our pictures he would respond almost immediately, not only for receiving the website to look at our pictures but in regards to our album - which brings me to my next point... the album that Sam designed is by far the most beautiful album that I have ever seen from a wedding. He has done such an amazing job with our wedding photos that I have referred him to every person that I know that has gotten engaged.

5 stars is not enough for every single category - he went above and beyond what my husband and I could have ever imagined. We cannot thank Sam enough.

We loved having Sam as our wedding photographer. He was easy to work with/ make plans with, and took perfect pictures. He was able to capture the night without too many posed pictures, which is exactly what we wanted. He had a great eye for spots around our venue for pictures. The value of the package we got was also very good, the album is beautiful and he put it all together for us! Everyone has raved about my wedding pictures and Sam! We recommend him hands down.

Sam is amazing! He makes you feel super comfortable and helps you enjoy your wedding day. He even travels to meet with you for your consultation. Sam went out of his way to shoot our engagement session at Penn State where we got engaged. He truly has fun while he is shooting and you can see his passion for the Art! My husband and I were so happy that we went with Sam. He did not disappoint us! On our wedding morning, I asked Sam to show up around 10, and he was there way before to make sure he did not miss anything! He even helped clip my eyelash when my friend was terrified to cut it! He is a man of his word and many traits! He is very patient with animals too, which was a huge plus since my rescue dog is afraid of anyone new. He was able to get some adorable pictures of him too! Sam cares about his clients and makes sure the job gets done right. We are excited to hear that friends and family will be booking Sam for future events. Also, once my husband and I decide to start our family, we will defiantly be calling Sam to shoot our first pictures! Don't hesitate to spend the money because you will not be disappointed in the end! Sam is not only talented, but a personable person who wants you to tell your story while capturing the special moments that mean the most to you!

Sam was amazing! He was there from early in the morning and late into the night. He captured every great moment of our wedding. Everyone at the wedding expressed how he "felt like part of the family." He joined in on all the fun as well as told the story of our wedding. He didn't miss a shot and he didn't get in the way of us having fun at our own wedding. He just let us be us. There was no pausing for a photo because he was so on top of it.
His pictures were unique and very well executed. I have looked at a lot of his work prior and I didn't feel as if any picture was the same from any wedding. He has the "it" factor. He really just made the day go smoothly and I didn't feel rushed getting pictures.
Our engagement session was so much fun! That is when I realized how great a photographer he was because he loves his job and isn't afraid to show it. Our engagements came out beautiful, yet fun and wild!
I just received my wedding album in a timely fashion and we are completely in love. Everyone states "This is such a different wedding album." I like how he wasn't traditional. But he did listen to everything I wanted.
He was great. I will definitely hire him again once the babies start to come to get our maternity photos.

Sam was everything we could have wanted! He was so personable and engaging from our very first meeting, and his enthusiasm for our event and our venue was so exciting! We had a blast at every shoot (never thought I would be cracking up laughing with my wedding photographer)! He is truly an artist at balancing artistic shots and personal, family shots. I recommend him without hesitation! His prices are extremely reasonable and frankly a bargain for the awesome quality he delivers!!!

Sam was absolutely amazing!! When we first met with him, just looking at his work, I knew he was the perfect photographer for our special day! When we had our engagement session, Sam was fun and easy to get along with, and made us both feel comfortable in front of the camera. On the day of the wedding, he spent the whole day with us and fit right in with our group. Just catching a few glimpses of the shots he got that day, I know that our final results will be incredible! Sam was fun, energetic, and creative, and everyone at our reception was impressed with him! I have recommended him to others, and I will definitely continue to do so!

Sam is an absolutely AMAZING photographer, plus a really nice guy. My husband and I felt completely comfortable with him from our first meeting. I was nervous because my husband is kind of shy and doesn't like to get his picture taken, but our photos are incredible! He got so many great photos without being intrusive into our day, most of the time we never even knew he was there! Sam does an engagement shoot in his package price and it was so fun and the pics were absolutely beautiful. We liked him so much we kind of miss him now that it's all over!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for the rating! Sam is truely one of a kind. He is such a talented photographer and captured every special moment of our wedding day. We had a lot of fun doing bridal party shots and our friends and family loved how he was constantly on top of everything going on to make sure he got all the best pictures. He also knows all of the best places to take artistic shots in the local area. Our wedding was in Bethlehem, PA and downtown Bethlehem as well as the historic Bethlehem Steel made for great opportunities for our pictures! I was so incredibly pleased when he surprised us with getting the pictures back to us so quickly, and it is so hard to choose which one will be our Thank You card! They are all amazing and we are so happy on our choice of photographer. No one could have captured our memories the way he did. I recommend Sam / SR Wedding Story to EVERY bride! He is also so flexibile and reachable, when I had questions of where we should go for the pictures I just gave him a call or email and received a response right away. He not only does Lehigh Valley, but all of PA, NJ and NYC, as well as destination weddings!

Even though his is my cousin's husband, Sam really keep everything deeply proffesional. It' s not just a photography session day and the best pictures in the most important moments of life but a whole day experience to remember. He will make sure you won't notice he is there so the most natural pictures will come out. When I saw the pictures the "happening" of the most important details and the ones a bride maybe didn't notice is there as if you're watching a video of your wedding/event.

We could not be happier with our selection of S.R. Wedding Story as our wedding photographer. Sam was a pleasure to work with - from our initial meeting, the engagement session, and all the way through to receiving our wedding album. He is very easy to get along with and very professional. Somehow Sam got the most amazing pictures of the wedding without us even seeing him on the dance floor taking pictures. He blended in perfectly, yet caputed all of our moments. When we received our wedding album in the mail, which Sam designed, we were able to relive our wedding all over again. The wedding album truly captures the essence of our wedding and is not generic in any way shape or form - it is completely us! Both of our families were very impressed with Sam's work and continue to tell us what a great job he did! We are having such a hard time choosing which pictures to display in our house - but that is only because Sam was able to capture the night so perfectly! WOW is the best way to describe the pictures we got from Sam for our September wedding. As an 'older' couple, we really wanted to capture the celebration of love we expected our wedding to encompass. From the garden party theme to the beautiful sun shining down, to the hebrew national hotdogs and the cupcake tiers, to our parents being able to walk us down the aisle...Sam captured ALL OF IT!!!!! He was unobtrusive, professional, and saw the inner beauty in every moment of our most wonderful day. He truly tells the story, not the posed and overdone types of pictures that other photographers think you want, but those moments that brought a tear to the eye. My mother has dementia and most times is blank...but Sam found her twinkle. My groom dancing with his mother and then sharing a private mother son moment..he caught if forever on film. My flower girl looking on with wonder as we cut the cake...beautiful. My sisters grinning that secret smirk at the chuppah...our ring bearer collecting the leftover programs. And my father, my wonderful father as he arrived to give me words of encouragement. THOSE are the moments you want, forever. And I will cherish those moments Sam captured for our life time. We found Sam on a wedding website and loved his "classic" style.We called him and were able to set up an interview only a few days later.
We learned Sam isn't only a great photographer but a talented artist as well . Part of his package was that he puts together your wedding book the way he see's it and we absolutly LOVED how he did ours. It was the extra touches he put in it that my husband and I would have never thought of if we were picking the pictures ourselves.As quick as the day went for us he was able to capture every single special moment. We also had him do an engagement session for us and seeing the results of those was how we knew we had made a great choice choosing him.
Sam has a great personality and was very fun to work and we would highly reccommend him for anyone planning their wedding!!!!!

We met Sam at a Bridal show (had a blast) and after we saw his work, we were positive he's exactly whom we have been looking for. He provided excellent communication e-mail, phone, and house visits. We have met several photographers and none were as passionate or professional like Sam. He spent the whole day with the Bridal party; morning and well into the night....he has such a great sense of humor and personality. We had a little issue with my uncle (family photographer wanting to take pics for his profession) and Sam handled the situation discreetly making sure my wedding went smoothly! The bridal party and family thought Sam was not only professional but tons of fun, like my husband would say "Sam's the MAN"!! A few minutes into my initial meeting with Sam, I knew that he was going to be my photographer. I had already found his work from my sisters wedding on his website and I wanted those modern, unique, GQ, DECACHE photos.

Sam blew us away with the photos. They were just like we wanted them official. He has an amazing eye and perspective. He was also so fun to work with on the day of.

You only have one chance to capture those moments on your wedding day, make sure you get Sam and your photos will be able to look back and enjoy the day all over again.

I do not even know where to begin with this review. Sam Rodriguez is truly one of the top photographers in the country and certainly the best photographer I'm the north east. Sam's professionalism is beyond anyone I have met throughout my wedding journey, and his quality and uniqueness of his work exceeds every other photographer out there! Not only did we use Sam as our wedding photographer, but he included our engagement session with our package. The engagement photo session on the boardwalk was a total blast! Our engagement photos have went viral, and now became the face of Morey's Pier in Wildwood, New Jersey where the photos were taken. Sam made my husband and I feel so comfortable and natural that we forgot the camera was even there! He also drove 3 hours out of his way, through the busy shore traffic just for our photo session. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, our wedding photos exceeded our every expectation! Less than two weeks after the wedding, we were in shock to see all 500 of our wedding photos! We could not believe that Sam was able to do such an incredible, meticulous job editing our photos in such a short period of time! Less than 2 months after our wedding, our wedding album, proofs in custom box, cd in custom case, and an extra surprise gift photo book from Sam arrived! Everyone who has seen our photos and albums cannot believe how unique and high quality Sam's photos are! The layout of our wedding album was so distinctively "us" that it really made me realize that Sam truly took the time to get to know me and my husband on a personal basis, not just as a business relationship. I really could go on, and on for hours about how Sam Rodriguez truly is "the" photographer you need to tell your story, but I think the best thing to do is check out his portfolio and let his work speak for itself! Look no further... you will never find a better photography company than SRWedding Story!

Sam is a fantastic photographer. We purchased a very reasonably priced package, and could not be happier with everything we received. Thankfully, Sam was available to us on short notice and shared our excitement as the big day grew near .The packages he offered were great and the presentation was delightful! He provided an excellent energy during our engagement session and brought out the best in all our photos. We researched many photographer's websites before we fell in love with the timelessness and natural look of Sam Rodriguez's work. We met him at a bridal expo and were instantly impressed by the attention he gave as we explained our vision of our big day.

Unlike other pompous photographers at the show, Sam was not arrogant, but proud of his work. It was obvious that 1) he loves to tell stories with his photography and 2) he loves to make people happy.

It was easy to work with Sam--nothing complicated whatsoever. He was unobtrusive and kind to all our guests.

As for the pictures... they speak for themselves really-a perfect blend of photojournalism and art. We love Sam's work and it re-tells our story exactly the way we remember it, every time. We are very grateful for all his hard work during, and after, our wedding. THANK YOU SAM!

For our wedding day we knew we were looking for a great photographer to take our pictures because we knew that these pictures would be the things we would look at for the rest of our lives. We had gone to our friends wedding in September of 2010 and we meet Sam with SR Weddingstory and from the beginning of the day to the end of the night Sam was such a great guy very friendly made you feel very comfortable and relaxed. We then looked into Sam once we started planning our wedding and we knew that we wanted him to tell the story of our wedding with his pictures. We meet with him to settle everything and we had the best feeling that he was going to be it because he looked at me and said the highlight of my day is when the bride and her girls are getting ready! Which we were looking for photos of that too cause its something we both don’t get to share together. Now we can have that part of our wedding day to keep forever also. Sam has an artistic angle in his work and it was just what we were looking for and with that we knew we had made the right decision. Our wedding was supposed to be outside but due to the monsoon rain that day we were forced to move inside. Sam stayed calm and did his best to get as many great pictures as possible he even agreed to do a few outdoor rain photos to really embrace what kind of day our wedding day was. Words can't really describe how awesome Sam was as our photographer. He is great at what he does. Having our wedding at the end of February meant a pretty boring and dead landscape. My wife and I were worried about how the pictures would come out because of that, but Sam told us there was nothing to worry about that he had it all figured out. He was highly recommended by my sister and a friend of my sister's so I felt confident that I could rely on him. We chose for the pictures to be at a nearby park and Sam had the coolest ideas I must say. Everyone liked him and enjoyed taking pictures. The outcome of the pictures were fantastic I was amazed with his ideas and how great they came out. I'm very camera shy and uncomfortable around picture taking yet I looked natural in all of them... needless to say my wife looked amazing! Aside from how skillful he is, Sam is a great person to be around. We had a great time at the wedding, shared many laughs... and drinks and had a great time. I've already recommended him to my friend and he's looking forward to having Sam as his photographer. I will recommend him every chance I get.

Best Photographer Ever!! Glad I picked him! Sam is on time, thorough, has a great artistic eye, thinks about the photos he's taking (very straticgic now looking at the results), is well capable of producing an album and shots you'll absolutely love (but allows for your input within the process if you'd like a change or modification), communicates well and is extremely professional but he has fun at the same time.

SR wedding story will without a doubt make your wedding the best day EVER!!! they were with me the entire day capturing every moment. they are inobtrusive, letting the moments happen and unfold naturally rather than forcing you into a million posed and fake shots. the pictures came out amazing.
even in large family shots, which at past weddings, i have seen take hours, took them mere minutes. it was really incredible!
i would book them again without hesitation. Contact them for your wedding, you will be so happy you did!!

HIGHLY recommend this photographer you MUST book him if you’re looking for the best!!! He delivers exactly what he promises in a timely manner.
There was so much to worry about on our wedding day, I can honestly say my photographer was not one of them. From the initial consultation to the final product, this photographer has excelled all of our expectations. He really does have a vision when taking his magazine type photographs and brings your wedding to life through them. We have convinced all of our friends that are getting married to book him and all of them have raved about him once they see their pictures. In the end all you have is memories and SRWedding Story really does tell it exactly how it happened through photographs.

My husband and I hired S.R. Wedding Story (Sam Rodriguez) for our wedding in August 2015. From our very first meeting with Sam we had a great feeling. He is very friendly and is extremely interested in showing couple's personal wedding story's. Sam was with us throughout the whole wedding day, and even drove me to my makeup appointment! Also, Sam was constantly on the move during our wedding just clicking away which was great since he never skipped a beat. The only issue we had was that we were given a time frame of 4-6 months and did not receive them until almost 8 months. However, when we contacted Sam with our concerns, he was extremely apologetic and reassured us that everything would be arriving sooner than later. Also, Sam upgraded our photo package for free since we were concerned. When we finally did receive our photos, photo-book, and personalized wooden USB drive, everything was stunning. Sam truly captured every pivotal moment of our wedding and was sure to include our family members which was extremely important to us. Sam is an incredibly talented photographer with a very creative perspective on things. We love, love, love our pictures and the quality of the photo-book and personalized wooden USB drive is amazing! We are so happy we went with Sam, and would definitely hire him in the future.

Sam is awesome! His work is very creative and your album will be a unique story of your wedding. Sam was amazing on the day of our wedding. Everyone loved Sam and we were all so comfortable with him. He showed up early and even offered to Bring coffee:) Sam really captured the love and happiness of our special day. I had a unique situation with having to wear a boot under my dress due to an injury. Sam did an amazing job with taking pictures so it was not crazy obvious, but still included some great shots of that sucker since it was still a party of our story and it neede to be in a few pics. I would def. recommend Sam!!

Would not recommend

Going to try to keep this as short as possible but TLDR at the end.
We booked Sam pre-pandemic for a 2021 wedding and paid him in full at that time. Due to COVID, we ended up downsizing our wedding from 220 people to 11 people in total (including the bride and groom). We asked Sam if he would be willing to maybe re-fund us at least something given his amount of work on our wedding day would be minimal compared to what was originally planned and paid for. He refused. But he did offer to throw in a “beautiful 100 page coffee table wedding album” that he charges $500 for normally. We accepted this offer and appreciated it as it was better than nothing! Our wedding day came and went. We moved. I made sure to email Sam our new address so he knew where to send the album. He never responded to my email. 6 months went by and no pictures. I emailed again. About two weeks later I received an automated message with a link to our wedding pictures. They looked nice but only half of the pictures were sent to us. I emailed Sam back thanking him for the pictures and respectfully asked about all the other pictures that were taken. A day later I received another automated message with a new link to all the remaining pictures. It’s now been a year and a half since my wedding and we never received a wedding album. I emailed Sam so many times I’ve lost count. My husband has emailed him as well as my mother-in-law. No one has gotten a response. As a matter of fact, I haven’t heard a word from Sam since he said goodbye on our wedding day.

Too long didn’t read:
Paid $3,000 for Sam to take pictures of 11 people. Waited 6.5 months to get our pictures back. Never received the wedding album. Never once received a response from Sam after emailing over and over again after our wedding day. I probably would not recommend. Two stars because he was professional the day of our wedding and our pictures are nice enough.

Brides Beware

Sam’s a nice enough guy but if you expect high attention to detail and follow through on “all day” coverage you will be disappointed. I didn’t think I was getting bottom of the barrel photo services at his price point. If I was I would have lowered my expectations. After 6+ months of waiting on our photos with just about zero communication or response we received digitals of the most important day of our lives. It appears he just uploaded what was on the SD card and send it to us. Not the quality of product we expected for the cost. Important shots missing from ceremony and reception. Almost no “getting ready” shots. Don’t expect return calls. Don’t expect attention to detail. Don’t expect all bridesmaids walking down the isle to be captured. Don’t expect photos of your guests at their tables. Don’t expect CLEAR shots at your reception.

Brides beware - would not recommend

I hired Sam after 2 friends had used him for their weddings. I am also a makeup artist and hairstylist and have worked on location at weddings without him over the years. Our wedding was postponed due to COVID 10 days prior to our big day. He was flexible with a new date which I was grateful for as he was already paid in full. The day of the wedding he was great. I felt as though I had communicated clearly to him the important photos of my wedding that I wanted as well as my reception and the display. There were 30-40 mph winds the day of my wedding and I did not want to chance my hair or makeup being ruined by outside photos. I was super pleased with Sam as our photographer the day of the wedding. The months after not so much. His contract states 4-6 months for turn around and editing of the photos , which is a little excessive but fine. He mentioned to us that we were the first wedding of 2021 that he was shooting so I had imagined it wouldn't take that long. I was the one who had to contact him after 6 months with no photos. And even then, he told me it would be another week blaming the 'rough year' he was having personally and with his business. The day I was to receive my photos I reached out and he told me they would be ready later in the evening. Which only told me 6.5 months later they were still being worked on. I received my link for the photos at 6 or 7 am the next day. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I could have edited these photos better with an app on my iPhone. Immediately following the wedding he sent us a sneak peak, and I wasn't happy. I asked him if he could edit the exposure differently because my husband and I both looked completely washed out and almost GRAY. We are both olive complexions and I even had the darkest spray tan. He didn't oblige to my requests in our final photos. Besides that I paid over $600 for signage and displays around my reception. None of which were photographed properly in order for the signs to be legible in photos. Especially a memorial table with etches glass votives and a memorial quotes for my husband's and my deceased loved ones. Some signs were completely not photographed at all. I didn't even want to show my husband our wedding photos because I knew how dissatisfied he would be as well. I reached out to Sam and he wasn't even willing to work with me on re-editing some of the most important photos of our wedding day we waited an extra year for. He said he shot our wedding "to the best of his ability" and blamed my washed out appearance on my make-up artist and the "reflective makeup she used". As an artist myself, it's not the make-ups fault. Makeup and especially wedding makeup is applied based on proper lighting - its the photographers job to capture that perfect lighting. And furthermore, I wasn't wearing makeup on the rest of my body including my shoulders and arms which were equally washed out looking. My makeup artist is well known, specializes in wedding makeup, and is recognized nationally - she didn't get there using the wrong makeup for photos.
I even asked him if we could have the RAW photos so I could take them elsewhere to be edited and he refused to give those to us.I honestly think these photos weren't even edited and quite possibly he pulled an all nighter to throw these together for us. We paid close to $2000 for this type of treatment.
I unfortunately realized I wasn't going to get anywhere with him. I had to reach out again to ask when we would receive our usb flash drive - which we waited another few days to be delivered.
I am not one to write bad reviews or trash someone's business. However, I trusted this man to capture moments of our special day so that our families, friends and us can look back in joy. No one has seen my wedding photos besides me and my husband because of how ashamed I am with the quality and how I look. It's the day every girl dreams of and your photographer is supposed to capture the essence of that dream for you to have that reality forever. I am also hugely disappointed because I held Sam in such high regards as a person and a photographer, and I feel so let down. I was honestly shocked that he wasn't willing to work with us and come to some resolution of my concerns. There is no do over for your wedding day - thats why you hire a professional photographer. This is an honest review in hopes that other brides and couples will look elsewhere.

15 months and no completed order

Loved Sam the day of the wedding. Literally referred him to family/ friends, which I now regret. It took 5.5 months to get 1 SINGLE PICTURE. 5.5 months for a preview. And 10 months for all of my wedding pictures. Sam said July 18 for my wedding album.. haven’t heard from him yet and it’s 3 months after that. Idk what’s going on. Sam was great the day of for the wedding but would never believe he would be this unprofessional when it came to providing pictures. Now getting my lawyer involved. It’s been 14 months and no album

14 months with no album

Tell me if you want preview after 5.5 months and all of your wedding pictures after 10 months?????
Sam was great the day of our wedding but after the big day was a different story.
He was not responsive. His emails get kicked back to me. His phone goes right to voicemail.
It took 5.5 months to get 1 picture/ preview. 10 months for all of the pictures. And I’m going on 15 months with no album.

Job Not Fulfilled, Paid in Full, Zero Communication

We booked Sam March 2020 for our Oct 2021 wedding. He showed up & spent the day taking photos & celebrating with us. Our preview photos were absolutely amazing, I was beyond excited to see the full day.

Understanding issues arise during the pandemic we have been extremely patient with the full day photos. We expected our photos returned in April 2022 which did not occur. We are now 10 months past the wedding and Sam provided us 4 revised dates when they would be completed which did not occur. It’s been 8 weeks since I have heard from him & he has completely stopped communicating, emails bounce back & phone calls go to voicemail.

The preview link he provided was also a link to his portfolio which showed there were several weddings AFTER ours that he returned the photos.

Unfortunately I continue to see more & more brides leave reviews sharing the exact same experience.

This entire experience has been completely disheartening & I fear we will never receive photos from the most important day of our life all due to one person’s lack of responsibility and professionalism to complete the job he was hired to do.

No response for money well spent

After almost 8 months my friend has still yet to receive her photos. She has sent multiple text message emails and phone calls and still hasn’t to hear back from Sam.

Sam was extremely nice when we met him and seemed very serious about doing a good job. We went with him because he had good reviews on wedding wire and assured us that he would do whatever it took to get us the best pictures that he could for our wedding. He even offered to "throw in" engagement pictures as part of the package. It should have been a red flag for us when he asked for a $1000 deposit before even showing us the engagement pictures. They were only 30-40 pictures and they would have given us a good idea of his talent (or lack thereof) before investing so much money in him. The engagement pictures were horrible. A good photographer looks for the best angle and lighting to flatter his subjects. It was almost like this guy was focusing on the background and scenery in every picture without much regard for the actual subjects. We should have canceled him as soon as we saw them, but we gave him the benefit of doubt and figured he already had $1000 of our money and it would be more of a hassle to try to get it back. The contract that we signed gave him 3 months to get us 400 edited images, but he assured us that it shouldn't take that long. We didn't want to rush him for fear of him doing a poor job on our wedding photos, so after waiting almost 4 months to hear back, we reached out to ask for an update. He was gracious enough to inform us that he was very busy and it was now taking him 4-6 months. After almost 7 months, we had to reach out again and he said it was going to take him a few more weeks, without so much as an apology. The photos we finally received were very amateur. He sent us 3-4 shots of the same picture in many cases, and it just didn't seem like he had a good eye or was capable of getting the right angle. We received better pictures from many of our guests. This is not the guy you want to capture such an important occasion.
