    The best of both (live+DJ) worlds!!!

    Ryan and Kaz were INCREDIBLE. They played live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour (including learning a new song at our request!) and DJ'd for dinner and dancing, and everything was perfect. They're incredible musicians and had a great variety set for cocktail hour, including the acoustic Mario theme song that made several guests giggle. Ryan's a great DJ and really has a way with reacting to the crowd's energy to keep a good vibe going. I couldn't believe how may people were dancing all night! I'd highly recommend Ryan to anyone that wants both beautiful live music and a great DJ in one responsive, easy-to-get-along-with vendor.

    Ryan was a great pick for our wedding!

    We were lucky to find Ryan and Kaz for our wedding day! Aside from Ryan's ability to both play LIVE music and DJ.. Ryan also has such a great personality that makes you feel comfortable and also makes you laugh. We loved his style of Emcee, which was funny but not cheesy (which seemed to be the case with some other vendors we checked out). We highly recommend Ryan and Kaz for your wedding day!!

    Unbelievably talented

    He is unreal! Everyone kept asking who he was and were very impressed! We are so happy we chose to have him at our wedding!

    I chose all of my wedding vendors based purely on reviews I read on websites/social media, and while Ryan had stellar reviews, his YouTube videos made me hesitant on how my song choices (country pop, 90s R&B, boy band) would fair with his acoustic style. And because I was having an intimate, daytime wedding with no dance floor, other than a photo booth, he would be the main source of entertainment. I trusted the reviews and pleasant communication I had with Ryan, and I'm glad I did. My guests could not stop raving about how great he was! I understood that some songs had to be played via a music app, but his voice and the music played between him and Kaz went well with the cocktail type of vibe I was going for. The wedding was a blur, but I did hear the ukulele play as I walked down the aisle, and it was beautiful. The Catering Director thought so as well. ;) I would not hesitate to recommend him for an event, and would gladly book him again!

    Ryan and his partner played for our wedding celebration in Davis last month. There were about 50 guests and it was outside on a patio at a restaurant. We wanted a relaxed but fun vibe - they played background music during dinner (even the super mario brothers theme song to everyone's delight!) and then transitioned to great on-request dance tunes for an hour afterwards. Ryan was an absolute pleasure to work with - very flexible, enjoyable, and a fabulous musician. Would recommend him for anything!!

    Ryan was not only an amazingly talented performer but also a warm, friendly, and thoughtful DJ who lead the entertainment festivities seemlessly!! I would recommend him for any event requiring music. Ryan even learned our song we wanted performed as we walked down the aisle. He made our wedding day unique and meaningful every step of the way. He made what we dreamed of possible. Thank you Ryan and Kaz for the attention to detail and bringing out your talents for us.

    Can I give more than 5 stars? 10 seems more appropriate
    The strongest of 5 stars, four thumbs up and any of the best ratings I can give. First, Ryan is a great communicator. He’s responsive and when you’re planning an event you want and need someone who gets back to you right away. All the way up to the wedding he was engaged and very much part of our wedding team and made the best suggestions and helped make everything perfect even with last minute switches. We already knew he was great but to hear our guests rave about him from the ceremony music all the way through to the end with great dance music, we could not have been more pleased. It was fun having Ryan and Kaz there and we were so comfortable with them it felt like our friends were doing our music. He clearly had our best interests at heart.

    Ryan is a must have performer for your event!! Ryan understood our need to have someone not be the center of attention but still have a presence for our Cocktail Hour. Our guests loved him and gave him rave reviews. He is not flashy, and is professional, timely and priced well for the high level of talent he offers. I would love to hire him for any private family functions that come along.

    Heard him before and hired him on short notice for our buffet style wedding reception at La Venadita in February 2018. We are so lucky to have found him and that he was available.
    This is hard to write because I almost have no words to describe how special and perfect everything was. The soundtrack Ryan provided really made the night. We provided him a few favorite songs and artists to play live (including our first song "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran) and he took it from there. He and Kaz played beautiful acoustics while people started to arrive and then they began the live vocals. They were absolutely incredible, every guest came up to ask where I found them and comment on how phenomenal they were. Their music elevated the ambiance of the event to such an unexpectedly magical and romantic level, we were blown away. He did his versions of many of our favorite songs live and they were all incredible. After a few hours he transitioned into a DJ set for dancing (after everyone had a couple margaritas) no one really wanted them to stop playing live but then he started playing hit after hit and had created the perfect dance playlist. We had ages 3 to 90 dancing and singing for hours.
    Ryan, thank you, you created the perfect soundtrack to our evening and we will be forever grateful for the memories you helped create.
    Originally I contacted Ryan for live music only and figured we would do that for a couple hours and then plug in a playlist. Then I read another review that said he DID IT ALL, live, MC, and DJ and I figured I'd spring for the whole package, I am so glad that I did. Ryan is incredibly personable and professional. He made announcements throughout the night, introduced us as a couple, announced the first dance, and passed a mic around for toasts. We had a casual taco reception and he provided the exact amount of structure that the event needed. Hire him. We are currently working on figuring out what we can hire him for next....

    Ryan has performed in our upscale hotel lobby for various events for the last 10 years. He is always professional, courteous, entertaining, and on time. He plays a nice variety of music, and plays it well. Our guests and wedding clients love it when he's here and we truly appreciate the atmosphere he creates.

    Best Decision We Ever Made
    Ryan performed/DJ'd our wedding on 10/7/17. He acted as DJ, Live Performer, and MC, and did each task perfectly. Our ceremony started at 4pm and Ryan arrived several hours in advance to set up, mic check, and tie up any last minute details. Once the ceremony began, he made sure everything ran smoothly and on time (which never happens at weddings). From there, he made a seamless transition to the reception space and began playing acoustic renditions as well as making general announcements to ensure all of our guests were made aware of the nights festivities. By far the BEST part of the night was his live acoustic singing of our first dance. EVERYONE in attendance loved it. Throughout the evening, he kept the party going with music and even interacted with our guests whenever they approached him.
    If you are still looking for a musical performer/DJ/MC, stop. No matter the event, Ryan is the best choice that you can make. His professionalism alone was enough for us to hire him, but when you add that to his musical talent, you simply cannot find anyone better. Everything from start to finish was perfect.

    I have been listening to Ryan and Kaz play for many years & I had no doubt in my mind that I wanted them to play at my wedding! Ryan was on top of every aspect of the music. I didn't make it easy by selecting a few Ceremonial Hymns for our church service, but Ryan picked it up immediately. Ryan adapts to any situation, and besides being immensely talented, he captured everyone's attention! He knew the exact segment of each song that should be played during the ceremony to get the fullest effect.
    Ryan & Kaz then played accoustically during our dinner service, and although my venue challenged us by not allowing amps or microphones outside, Ryan & Kaz still delivered the vocals and music for all to enjoy from their seats. Anyone should be honored to have these two amazing gentlemen play for their events. This was one piece of my special day that I never worried about. I let Ryan take the lead, choose the songs he wanted to sing, and I enjoyed it all. You always want to make sure you have the best, and THEY ARE the BEST!! Thank you Ryan & Kaz for such an amazing day & memory I will cherish forever!

    Phenomenal! We hired Ryanand Kaz for our ceremony in Sacramento and he was an absolute hit with our guests. From guitar to violin he played it all but his voice is where he really shines. We would absolutely hire him again for other events.
