Music was the hardest decision for us when approaching vendor selection for our wedding. We wanted a chill vibe for our "rustic elegant" barn wedding, and music that would work for a relaxed family style dinner, dance floor for those who wanted to dance, and chilling by the fire pits with s'mores later. Ryan completely understood our vibe and delivered! His live music during dinner was amazing - we had heard his YouTube videos and they don't do justice to his live performance! Later Ryan switched from live music to DJing and he masterfully balanced the energy for all of our wedding guests. Guests could enjoy conversations at the table while still hearing each other, the dance floor was hoppin from little nieces and nephews up to grandparents and the fireside ambiance outside was on point. As an added bonus, his dance floor lights looked magical on the barn beams. This guy is the real deal, and is unique in the industry with both live and DJ music all in one! We would definitely hire him for any gig! -

We are so thrilled that we decided to hire Ryan for our wedding! He was extremely professional, flexible, and generally very helpful throughout the planning process. On top of that, he is an extremely talented performer! Ryan played acoustic guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and DJ'd for dinner and dancing. We loved having the option of hiring one person to do ALL of that, and he did not disappoint! He checked in with us throughout the night and problem-solved last minute changes seamlessly. I highly recommend Ryan for any wedding or event! -

Ryan is comfortable to work with and completely understood our “vibe” for the wedding. He truly nailed it- acoustics, DJing, all of it! We got many compliments on his performances. He made a point to chat with us during the wedding, asked for feedback throughout, and vibed with the crowd the entire time. I could not recommend him enough. A true gem! -

First of all- Ryan was extremely flexible with the pandemic which was greatly appreciated. He was easy to get in contact with, pricing was fair, and he has a great selection to choose from. We loved the live music for our cocktail hour as did our guests. Would highly recommend using Ryan for you wedding! -

I highly recommend using Ryan for your wedding (and other events)! We had to reschedule our wedding due to covid which made the wedding pretty stressful in general and I'm so glad we found Ryan. He was incredibly easy to work with and helped us figure out the best options/ideas for our budget. We were on the fence about getting a DJ but looking back I'm SO happy we decided to use Ryan because I can't imagine it without that aspect now. We had a set list of music but I gave him the freedom to just go with whatever he thought was fitting. He was even willing to accommodate a few requests which was extremely nice of him to do. He did a great job of keeping the night moving along, making sure guests were having a blast and even making a few impromptu announcements when needed. Ryan will go above and beyond to make your day everything you want it to be. Ours was perfect! Thank you Ryan!

Ryan and his bandmates were beyond what we could have ever hoped for. From our initial interaction through the post event euphoria, Ryan was nothing less than professional, kind, patient, fun, helpful, organized, respectful, thoughtful and an extremely talented musician and vocalist. Ryan was helpful in planning out the musical backdrop of our non-traditional 7-hour wedding day, which was divided into segments - each with a different vibe and tempo. Ryan helped us plan the perfect pre-ceremony & ceremony live duo, cocktail & reception trio, and finally a 3-hour DJ musical celebration. Ryan has an extensive live performance song list from which we could use to design our soundtrack, a testament to his musical talent and versatility. He was very accommodating to the various styles of music and arrangement we wanted. One of our favorite memories of Ryan and his bandmates are how much fun they were having while entertaining our guests. Everyone loved the band! Perhaps the greatest compliment we could give Ryan is that we would not hesitate for a moment to work with or recommend him to others for musical entertainment. We could not have wished for a more perfect day, celebrating with family and friends with Ryan and his bandmates creating the most perfect and memorable soundtrack to our special day. Thank you Ryan! You will forever be a special memory for us and our guests. -

We are so happy we chose Ryan to sing & perform and DJ at our wedding. We had a small wedding with our closest friends and family, less than 25 people (thanks COVID :)). Ryan was easy to work with throughout the entire process from contracting, to picking out songs, and hearing suggestions. Everyone at the wedding loved his performances and renditions of the songs he played. Ryan was even nice enough to learn a few songs for our “special” dances. After performing throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner, he DJ’d for the rest of the night for everyone to dance. We had a great time and can’t recommend him enough. -

This is our second time using Ryan. First for a birthday party and second for our wedding and both times he did not disappoint. Ryan is an amazing musician and a true professional. He helped guide us through our special song choices and went above and beyond to learn our songs. At both our events our guests had nothing but rave reviews. When you watch Ryan play you can tell he really loves what he does. I would 100% recommend him to play for any occasion you have. -

When we started planning our wedding, our first thought was use a DJ, just because that is the default.... We are so glad that we decided to book Ryan instead!
Ryan was very professional and accommodating to all our requests and super easy to work with. His variety of music fit what we were looking for exactly! Our guests were impressed as well with his talent and how long he played without breaks.
He played virtually non stop for about 4 hours before switching over to some recorded music (that was our plan).
Overall we were thrilled!

Ryan came for our wedding in late June. It was a VERY hot day. Ryan played the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The ceremony and cocktail hour was perfect and all acoustic. The reception was a mix of acoustic and some recorded music at our request. Ryan did such a great job and played everything the way we wanted, and took some requests from our guests. My guests were SO IMPRESSED and gave me several compliments on how did I "find him". I thought he did an amazing job and would highly recommend him for any of my friends weddings in the future. We communicated several times before the event and he was very accommodating and understanding of all our requests! -

Ryan Cook is an amazing musician and played for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and so easy to work with throughout the process of planning the event. He is open to all kinds of music suggestions (a wide range of genres & tempos), and even enjoys the challenge of learning new songs! Ryan is an extremely talented singer and musician who is able to get the crowd dancing and set the tone for the wedding or event of your choosing. I would hands down recommend Ryan for anyone interested booking a musician for any type of event! -

Not only does Ryan provide you with tools to make selecting all your music easier, he is very communicative before and during your event.
He played beautifully and made our wedding day so special. The reception music was outstanding as well.
