Luisa and her team went above and beyond. They decorated the church so tastefully and with such class. The venue looked out of this world with their centerpieces and accents. High quality floral arrangements with the highest quality flowers & greenery. We couldn’t have dreamed our wedding day flowers looked this good. The cost was so reasonable, and it beat every competitor around. The service from start to finish was top notch and we felt so well cared for throughout every step. Exceptional work by Ruth Chase florists!!!
Our guests were impressed by the beautiful arrangements at the altar and pictures would not have been the same without them. The bridal bouqet and boutonnière were lovely, we even pressed some of the flowers to be framed in our home. Ruth Chase florists were very professional and on time - we will 1000% work with them again!

Ruth Chase Flowers are the best flowers around Litchfield. They did all the flowers for my son’ & daughter in law’s wedding this past August and everyone commented how gorgeous they were! Her flowers are top-notch quality. We go to her for every special occasion and the pictures below our pictures from Flowers she did for us for Christmas. We highly recommend them.
They were incredibly professional, kind and warm. They gave my kids a discount because they are first responders.

My flowers were beautiful. Ruth really understood my vision and executed it, and even delivered them herself on my wedding day. They came looking fresh and full and they lit up my wedding pictures. I would highly recommend her services. I wanted a rather delicate flower in my bouquet and she made it happen though it was a challenge. Couldn’t love the arrangement I had made up for my event it made the already beautifully set table more spectacular! The staff was responsive and professional and kept me in the loop thought the process I gave a photo of what I wanted and they exceeded my expectations when I picked it up! The flowers were boxed up perfectly and the blooms lasted several days without doing anything to them. Love Luisa at Ruth Chase Flowers in New Milford CT
Luisa is great! She did a wonderful work creating our table centerpiece plus she recreated a magnificent bridal bouquet by bringing together our, my fiancé and my, favorite colors and flowers; White roses painted in Blue, white Calla Lilies and blue Noble Dendrobium were an excellent and graceful choice, not forgetting the gentle and whimsical greenery waterfall at front of the bouquet cascading downwards. The balance and diversity of flowers and colors were fenomenal!
Luisa spent quite the time with my husband to be and myself, devoting her attention to my ideas, my wishes and visions as how I would like my bouquet to look, she wanted to make something which would make us (me ) happy, and she did not disappoint! My fiancé’s lapel match my bouquet exactly as we envisioned. Luisa made our special day extra special by bringing our visions together and we have smiles and memories which will last a lifetime. And by the way, a month later we still have the bouquet and lapel in our fridge, not as fresh as the same day, but we still have them and the white roses still going strong, that’s how fresh all the flowers used for our wedding were…..I added a photo of them as well.
We cannot be thankful enough to Luisa for such an excellent job and for giving such great attention to each detail, thank you, everything was perfect and delivered with care and timely.
My husband and I highly recommend Ruth Chase Flowers, you will not be disappointed.

She is warm, creative, kind, and truly talented and passionate at what she does. I had a blast working with Luisa and appreciated how much she cared. She met me at my venue to do a walk through, added lights to flowers, and let me borrow beautiful stands to place my arrangements on by the band! She went above and beyond and is very invested in the couples happiness. A Masterpiece out of Nothing
Louisa was amazing to work with. I didn't really have anything specific and she was able to guide me and make something truly spectacular out of the practically nothing I gave her. Beautiful Flowers for a Fall Wedding
Ruth Chase Flowers provided all the flowers for my October wedding, and I was thrilled with the results. Luisa and her team are wonderful. We had a lot of flowers - bouquets, boutonnieres, table centerpieces, memorial table, aisle chairs, and a beautiful spray for our ceremony's grapevine arch. I knew the style of bouquets I wanted (informal with non-traditional fall colored flowers), and with some photo examples I had saved, Luisa helped me put together a beautiful selection of flowers that would be in-season and within my budget. She coordinated everything with the colors and specific flowers from my bridal bouquet, but each floral item was unique and all blended together wonderfully. Because we first met in the spring when several of the flowers I wanted were not in season, I didn't actually see my final flower choices until my wedding day, but I put my trust in Luisa, and she designed everything exactly how I wanted. I was so happy with the results! She is a pleasure to work with, has wonderful ideas, and possesses a real talent for making a bride's vision become reality.

You need this florist!
Ruth Chase Flowers went above and beyond to create such breathtaking flowers for my wedding. First off, I had to reschedule my wedding due to COVID and even after agreeing on a color/style, Ruth Chase was so great when I called and told them I wanted to change everything after I had to year to think about my colors. I am not good with flowers and know very little about the different types, but all I had to do was describe what I liked and Ruth Chase had an abundance of options. They were so patient and willing to make my flowers perfect. When Ruth Chase and the team came to my venue to drop off my bouquet, I immediately cried. It was so beautiful and better than I ever imagined it to be. She created a smaller gorgeous bouquet for my mother as well. My center pieces were amazing and the outside pavilion they decorated was out of this world. Ruth Chase Flowers made my wedding so beautiful and I can't thank them enough. You must book them for your next wedding or event, I promise you won't be disappointed.

My son and now daughter-in-law had to cancel their reception for their wedding on Oct. 3rd in NJ. They still wanted to get married on that date and were scrambling to find a place to hold a small ceremony. They decided last minute to hold their ceremony in Ct. in a backyard setting. Being it was last minute, I was charged with finding a florist and I landed on Ruth Chase. With only 3 weeks before the date, the did not hesitate to accommodate us and were on it. Just a quick note and a huge “Thank You” for the most beautiful wedding bouquet, boutineer, and arbor swag!! I had totally forgot to order my flowers and ended up calling the day before my wedding. Without hesitation, Luisa got on the phone and assured me she could definitely get everything done. She asked that I email her a couple pictures of what I like. I went on Pinterest right away, found a couple bouquet pictures and forwarded them over for review. You saved the day Luisa....you went above and beyond those pictures and made the most perfect, absolutely beautiful bouquet! The swag was beautiful as well, it made the arbor look amazing! Thank you again for your exceptional service!!

Luisa is an amazing artist!
From the first meeting with Luisa at Ruth Chase, I knew that whatever she was going to design for me would be beautiful. Using a couple of pictures I had sent her, she put together a small mock-up up what I might be looking for in my bridal bouquet, and from that moment I was sold. My flowers were one of my favorite parts of my entire wedding. She also worked with me to get garlands running the length of my tables within my price range. She is not only communicative but warm and friendly. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Everything about the experience with Ruth Chase Flowers was perfect for our wedding in June 2019 in CT. I met with Luisa, the owner, about four times to discuss the centerpiece arrangements, large arrangements for the ceremony, and the bouquets and boutineers. We went over a few sample bouquets with the flowers she had in the store currently, to make sure I liked all the colors beforehand and everything on the day of the wedding turned out even more beautiful than expected. After Luisa checked in with me the day prior to the wedding, I had no doubts she would deliver everything on time and make sure it looked perfect. And it really did! I could not have asked for a better florist and I highly recommend her to anyone in the CT area!!

Ruth Chase Flowers made all of my wedding dreams come true. Like all of our vendors, we had to discuss all wedding wants and details over the phone. We live in Arizona and our wedding was in Connecticut. As you can imagine planning your wedding from across the country, with the unfortunate 3 hour time difference comes with its own stresses. Ruth Chase Flowers not only made this entire stress free but they exceeded all expectations. Our flowers were gorgeous! Guests are still talking about them! Each conversation, email and text I had with Luisa I could feel the passion and excitement she has for what she does and she wants her brides to be happy. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Ruth Chase Flowers, her arrangements are nothing short of spectacular!!

I would highly recommend booking your wedding flower's with Luisa at Ruth Chase Flowers. Luisa was the third florist that I met with and she was the only one that truly took her time to make sure that we went over every detail. Other florists just showed me pictures of flowers, while Luisa actually showed me some flowers and how they would look together. She made sure I knew exactly what flowers I was going to get and explained the difference between using some flowers over others and which one's were better or worse for whatever reason (which I had no idea about so that was helpful). My wedding ceremony was first thing in the morning and Luisa allowed us to pic up the flowers before the ceremony to make sure they stayed cold enough in her fridge. They were absolutely stunning flowers!! I got so many complements about them. Also, I called Luisa a day or two before my wedding to ask her if she could add some pink flowers to my bouquet and she was able to do that even though it was very short notice. My dog was my maid of honor, and Luisa even went above and beyond to make a flower arrangement for my dog's collar and attached it so that it wouldn't come off throughout the ceremony. Luisa is a wonderful person and will go the extra mile for you. I would highly recommend her.

Our flowers for our wedding were more beautiful than we even dreamed--and we were dreaming big! My bouquet was prettier than any I've ever seen--in pictures or real life. I used Pinterest and other pictures to provide ideas and Luisa just took off from there. She was attentive, helpful and got us. We enjoyed spending time with her going over what we wanted--she gave us all the time we needed. She was professional, friendly and good with the follow up and follow through. People at the wedding commented over and over on how stunning our bouquets and flowers were. And they are gorgeous in pictures! Louisa is an extraordinary business owner. We had met her at the Washington Farm Market (in Washington Depot, CT) and were instantly drawn to her gorgeous arrangements. My husband and I had not imagined that we would be able to afford flowers for our wedding (at all) until we sat down with Louisa and worked out a budget, and she designed the most incredible bridal bouquets, table arrangements, groom, and groomsman boutonnieres, and parent and grandparent boutonnieres and corsages. Luisa and her team at Ruth Chase Flowers went ABOVE and BEYOND all of my expectations for my wedding back in May 2015. From our first initial meeting, I left knowing that I was in very good hands. Luisa worked within my budget (something that no other florist was willing to do) and she was knowledgable, attentive, and willing to give me 110% of herself. No task was too much for Luisa, when I needed a runner for my church ceremony, Luisa found it for me; when I couldn't figure out who would set up the arrangements I made for my church pews, Luisa put them up when she dropped off the rest of the flowers. A fabulous set of floral arrangements for our wedding! The flowers themselves were especially fresh and of very high quality. The arrangements were very refined and strikingly beautiful, with wonderful colors and creative floral design. Luisa, their top designer, worked very well with my wife to design a complete transformation of the event location into a wonderful flower setting. They were very professional, arriving early to do the installation, which was perfect. Absolutely the best!

If I have to choose again and again to decorate any type of party, Ruth Chase (Luisa) would be my main choice. Luisa did an excellent decoration on my wedding day. She used fresh flowers only. Starting from my bouquet, it was the most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen. I even preserved it. Each table was decorated with vase of flowers that gave the final elegant detail on my weeding day. My wedding would not have been the same if Ruth Chase flowers was not part of it. From the first meeting we were treated like family and Craig really understood my vision. His creativity and talent shows through his work. He goes above and beyond for his clients.
Seeing the flowers on the day of my wedding was a dream come true. The bouquets, centerpieces & ceremony decor were absolutely beautiful & perfect. Everyone was blown away including the venue.

The flowers Craig and Luisa at Ruth Chase Flowers designed for my daughter's wedding were even better than we had imagined they would be, gorgeous in every way. One of my good friends recommended Craig Hepler to me. She assured me that he could make a dead leaf look gorgeous. I took her word for it and I was not disappointed - he did an AMAZING job!!! For our initial meeting, he spent hours with me, looking at photos of arrangements I found online so he could get an idea of my style, looking at pictures of my dress, and listening to me try to explain the feel I wanted for my wedding (all I came up with was dreamy, romantic, beautiful). I never saw any of my flowers beforehand...so I really had no idea what to expect. Whatever I was envisioning in my mind paled in comparison to the reality that awaited me on my wedding day! The bouquets were gorgeous - our very large altar pieces were awesome - but when I walked into the reception room and saw my centerpieces - I could have cried! They were INCREDIBLE. He took inspiration from a few of my photos and brought it to a whole new level. One thing that stood out was this: there were fresh pears in the centerpieces and he made a little nest with a pear in it on each table beneath the footed compote which held the flowers. I got so many compliments on that little detail! My flowers were EXACTLY the dreamy, romantic beautiful flowers that I wanted.
We spent a lot of money on our flowers and containers, but it was worth every penny. Those flowers brought so much beauty and elegance to our perfect day. Thank you Craig and Luisa!!!

Ruth Chase provided the flowers for my wedding earlier this month, and I couldn't have been happier with their services. Louisa and Craig were friendly and helpful from day one. Craig knew I had a very specific budget in mind, and he worked to accommodate that when he was coming up with the proposal. We talked extensively in our first meeting about my vision, my wedding colors, etc. He was very good about staying in touch in the months leading up to the wedding. In fact, I heard from Craig much more than some of my other vendors, and as a busy/nervous bride, that was very reassuring! The flowers all turned out beautifully - from my bouquet (which I barely wanted to let go of all day!) to the boutonnieres, to the flowers for the church. The hydrangeas he used for the bridesmaid bouquets were just gorgeous - they went with the girls' dresses so beautifully. Everything was in pristine condition and looked wonderful. I would not hesitate to use Ruth Chase again for another event, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone!

I worked with Luisa from Ruth Chase Flowers to design the flowers for my wedding and reception. They were absolutely stunning and everyone commented on how beautiful they were. Luisa was insistent on giving me the flowers that I wanted for the ceremony. I don't know much about flowers and really went to her with a general color scheme and with that little information she was able to make something beautiful. I especially liked sitting with her in the planning stage and watching as she pulled flowers out of the display and put them together in different arrangements to help me figure out the look I wanted. We had a hybrid Indian/American ceremony and she clearly researched Hindu ceremonies and color schemes. She made some great recommendations for changes and the Flower Garland necklaces she made for us were perfectly authentic. My only critique is that she shared many of my personal photos from the wedding online without asking my permission first. Perhaps that is my own issue, but that made me uncomfortable. That said, I really do think the flowers were great and I would recommend her to others.

Beautiful Bouquets
Overall my wedding bouquets and boutonnieres were absolutely stunning and I got tons of compliments on them! The style was spot on for what I was going for and the owner worked with me to include family heirloom brooches and some colored ribbons to make it truly special to us.
That being said... I felt the bouquet was much too large for me and it covered my entire dress bodice even though I made a point of asking for a smaller size bouquet. I wasn't crazy about the owner refusing to show me a sample of the final flowers all together before the wedding day and preferring to "surprise me." The owner certainly knows her stuff and has an eye for design, but I think customer service could be improved — she was busy with other events and stressed through the process which just made it stressful for me too. One of our meetings were forgotten and no prep was done, and when I asked for a list of our agreed upon flowers I was told she was too busy.
