All-around amazing
Kaeda is truly one-of-a-kind. From the very first message I sent her inquiring about hair and makeup for my wedding, she was kind, communicative and extremely helpful. She came to my house to complete my hair and makeup trial, which was so perfect. On the day of our wedding, she brought an additional artist and they spent the entire day making me, my mom, and all 9 of my bridesmaids look and feel absolutely gorgeous. I'm still in awe at both of their abilities to do a wide variety of hairstyles and makeup looks so efficiently and so well. Not only is Kaeda an absolute expert at what she does, she's also just really cool. She made me feel calm and confident despite all the hustle and bustle that can occur on the day-of a big event. I am so thankful for her! -

Kaeda was amazing! She drove all the way to me for the trial run and my wedding. Always responsive and very clean and neat. On my wedding day, I had a moment pertaining to my eyebrows (call it stress). Kaeda was so calm and worked with me until I felt completely beautiful! She felt like a friend and it made my wedding day that much better! I highly recommend her. -

I asked Kaeda do makeup for my wedding, and I was blown away with the results! She is an expert makeup artist, and was very knowledgeable about techniques and looks that would look good on me. She was quick to respond and easy to communicate with, and was flexible to meet with for my trial. I gave her an idea of what I wanted, and she worked her magic to find a look that was natural on me. We even had a time crunch during the wedding prep, and she made me look beautiful in only a short amount of time. She is also a friendly, outgoing person. I would definitely recommend her services! -

Kaeda cancelled on me the day of my wedding without a plan or recourse. She messaged me at 6am and even stated in that message she felt unwell the night before. I didnt get her message until 10am because were getting ready for the wedding. She had done nothing to help me until I pleaded with her to help me. Her resolve following me practically begging was to look for a HMUA via IG story and send me IG profiles to message all these people... on my wedding day. I booked with her 6 months in advance. She said we didn't need a contract and in hindsight I should have seen that as a red flag.
Since then, I looked at her reviews on Thumbtack...She has done this last minute cancellation to others :( To make matters worse she responds back by telling them they are somehow being dramatic and that they are in the wrong...
Kaeda's prices are awesome, but there is risk involved. Being abandoned by a vendor on your wedding is not okay. I hope she'll do better and recognize her part because she has caused a lot of undue stress. -

Kaeda was the most unprofessional individual I have dealt with!
I first contacted her the last couple weeks of June to set up makeup trial in August 2022 for my wedding in May 2023. I was pleased with her good communication and affordable prices. However, I should have known you get what you pay for. I asked her for the contract twice and she did not send it. I was patient since it was the height of wedding season and I decided to trust her. That was a major mistake, do not trust this artist! I was in contact with her a week before my trial and it was less than 24hrs before my trial and she asks me how many people I plan on having for my wedding to get makeup done. I told her it was just me as of now. She then proceeded to tell me that she was only booking clients that had 7 or more people wanting makeup. She failed to ever mention this until the day before my trial! I told her I was honest with her from the beginning that only I would need makeup and not my bridesmaids (I only have 5). She responded poorly, saying she’s human and is allowed to change her mind and make “mistakes” especially since we didn’t have a contract signed. I reminded her that the only reason we didn’t have a contract signed was that I asked for it twice and she never sent it over. For her to also tell me it’s human to make a “mistake” as in referring to her changing her mind is insane. It’s not a mistake it’s a decision she made. This artist lacks self awareness to take accountability for her actions and act in a professional manner.
I 100% recommend spending more money for someone who is professional and treats clients with respect.Rust & Roses Beauty's reply:

I did take accountability and the energy that you have to write this review just shows how entitled you are which I think is a blessing for both of us. Life happens, sometimes not at the right time.
