Delicious treats. A must hire!

We ordered cupcakes, donuts, and a single cake for cutting and it was all delicious. We ordered the lemon kiss and strawberry cheesecake cupcakes which were all devoured. I would highly recommend this bakery. I had nothing but compliments and it was very affordable compared to others.

Best cake rver!

Our cake was amazing! My husband and I came up without own combination of flavor’s and Meg was so great with us. From the flavors to the design of the frosting it was perfect for our start night wedding. Thank you Meg for being part of making our day perfect. We had so many people complement the cake and ask us who made it that I’m thinking you will be getting a few new customers.

Delicious AND Beautiful Cake and Cupcakes

Meg at Rush City did an amazing job on our wedding cake and cupcakes. She was more than patient with all my questions and even created a cupcake flavor for the wedding at my request. The cupcakes were not only delicious but matched our wedding theme (something Meg did without my asking)! I couldn't have been happier. I just wished I'd requested more cupcakes so that we could have enjoyed leftovers!

Go in for a tasting! All flavors were delicious and the baker really helped talk us through our best options. They even did a filled sheet cake so the guests would have EXACTLY the same kind of cake as us.

We loved workin with Meg and Rush City bakery! The guests loved the donuts- and so did we!! The cake was gorgeous, and all I did was send Meg a sample picture! Thank you again for everything, you guys are awesome!

We bought hot dog buns and hamburger buns from the Rush City bakery. Best decision ever!

Where do I start? From our free cake tasting (SO many yummy flavors!) to pick up of our cakes, we were treated as thought we were the only bride & groom ever! We ordered 2 cakes, hoping for leftovers (we did manage to save the top layer!) but everyone ate them right away! Compliments galore and they were GORGEOUS! Thank you, Meg & all, for making our day delicious and perfect!

Rich City bakery and especially Meg were wonderful to work with! We live in Naples Fl so we had to work long distance and didn’t get a chance to sample her cakes. We had 2 a grooms cake and. 3 tier “naked” cake. We were NOT disappointed! Our guest said it was the BEST wedding cake they had had (almond w/ rasp. Filling. Thank you Meg for taking the stress out of all the planning!!

We are so pleased with how everything turned out. Process was smooth start to finish and were always flexible as we lived 6 hours away. The cupcakes were to die for and the cake was everything we wanted and more!

Meg was awesome! We had a short notice recommitment ceremony for my son and his wife.... on leave from the Navy. Meg made it work and the cupcakes were beautiful and delicious!

Rush City Bakery did my wedding cake and it was amazing! They decorated it just the way I wanted. It was beautiful and DELICIOUS! I recommended Rush City Bakery to everyone! They delivered my cake with out questions the day of my wedding to the venue. I didn't have to answer a single question.

What an INCREDIBLE cake, created for us by the lovely Meg at Rush City Bakery! It was a tall order, we wanted a birch-bark look to go with our "cabin chic" themed wedding on Trade Lake in Grantsburg, WI - and boy oh boy, did she deliver! It was absolutely STUNNING...and SO SO TASTY!! Beyond that, the service was world-class. Not only would I recommend Rush City Bakery to anyone I know, I will most CERTAINLY reach out for cakes and pastries in the future. Thanks so much!

We had Rush City Bakery provide the naked wedding cake for our daughters wedding and it was beautiful. They made a Special flavor, strawberry shortcake, for us and the flavor was just delicious. We also had 5 different flavored mini cupcakes that were so attractive and tasty. We were very pleased with choosing rush city bakery. Our guest raved about the feminist cupcakes and cake too. You can't go wrong with Rush City as your bakery of choice. The cake and cupcakes were so good they were gone in about a half hour. Delicious, moist and tasty. Everything was exactly how we discussed when I ordered. Will continue to use them for future gatherings.

Meg was a pleasure to work with and made our vision come to life. As a gay couple, we've heard horror stories about venders not being accepting, but this was definitely not the case with Meg! Amazing! All I can say. Meg had very roughly sketched out my cake so I did not know what to expect. When I saw it the morning of my wedding it honestly brought tears to my eyes. It was nothing like I could have pictured. On top of that it tasted AWESOME!

It was a pleasure working with the Rush City Bakery especially Meg. I had a Pinterest request for making a donut hole cake something she had never done and she worked with me to make it perfect! The overall look was elegant and beautiful and tasted amazing. We got some many compliments!

Very pleased with the wedding cake. Design of the outside was exactly as we wanted. The almond cake with raspberry filling was the best. Everyone is still talking about how good our cake was! If we ever need a cake in the future we will certainly come back again.

The only slight negative comment is that there was a small piece of the frosting that was starting to droop on the back side. Not sure if that was due to travel or the weather effected it. It wasnt noticeable from the front so it wasn't too much of a big deal. Everything else was great and tasted wonderful! Thanks again!

Complimentary cake testing. The cupcakes were out of this world. So popular at our wedding. Especially the Bavarian ones and the Pink Lady Diva. Small town bakery that has been around forever and is so good. They just had an article written about them, saying they are one of the best bakeries in Minnesota. We chose them before it was written so I imagine they will get much busier. But definitely recommend.

I ordered 5 dozen cupcakes for my wedding and they turned out amazing! We ordered two dozen of the chocolate diva, two dozen of the pink lady, and one dozen of marble cupcakes. I told them what my colors were and brought a picture in for what I wanted the marble cupcakes to look like and it was perfect. The cupcakes I got were exactly what I wanted, even the marble cupcakes look exactly like the picture I showed her!! I only got to try the pink lady cupcake at my wedding, but it was pretty good and I'm not a big fan of raspberry. I was pretty disappointed that we didn't have any of the chocolate diva cupcakes left, because I really wanted to try them. The cupcakes were a big hit!

Choosing Rush City Bakery for our wedding cake and cupcakes was a very easy decision. Meg was very easy to work with and showed us what we could do with our cake/cupcakes based on our vision. The large flower embellishments were perfect! Meg provided us with several cupcake options to taste, all of which were amazing. The end product was exactly what we wanted! Additionally, the cost was very reasonable when compared to vendors closer to the Twin Cities metro area. As a side note, the apple fritters at are to die for!

Delicious cakes loved by everyone! Had a small 2 tiered for us and sheet cakes for the guests. Lots of good compliments received by the guests. Easy to work with and accommodating! Great value and beautiful cakes! Would not hesitate to use them in the future!

This bakery is in my hometown- I currently live about 70 miles from there, and our wedding was about 180 miles from there. I knew we had to have them for our wedding and Meg worked with us to make it work and the cupcakes we had were amazing! Everyone raved about them and they were ALL gone at the end of the night. Not too often you can say that your wedding dessert was all eaten! People were taking some home with them too. Highly recommended, we were happy as were our guests! Our son just turned 2 and we were asked if we could get "the cupcakes from the wedding" to celebrate his birthday as well. Thank you so much!

Meg and Rush City Bakery were absolutely amazing! We scheduled our initial trial to go in and sample cupcakes. Everything was ready when we arrived. She sat down with us immediately and went over everything. Very easy to work with. Very professional and reliable! Got everything squared away in one visit. Everything was ready to go on the day of our wedding. Definitely helped the day get off to a great start. Not to mention their cupcakes are delicious!!! Would recommend Rush City Bakery to anyone and everyone!!

The Baker who made our cake was awesome. Our cake was amazing. We did not have a big wedding but we did want a cake to remember and I think no one at our wedding will for get our awesome cake. Kinda spendy for a smaller cake but so worth it. Yummy. Last minute the day I picked up our cake I thought of the folks at the wedding that do not like chocolate cake and since we got the specialty Turtle cake all chocolate wanted to make everyone happy. So I asked the lady who checked us out how many cake pops do you have and she said 12 why? I said can I get all those to? She came back with No! Really I said please I do not know who will not want chocolate cake please can I get them? Then she said really do you know what I have to do then? Ummm yeah your job. I do not know the lady who checked us out she was not the baker of the cake. The baker and the owner of Rush City Bakery we met the day we ordered our cake and they were all amazing! I would and will go back for all my cake needs!

My sons 4th birthday party was an art party. Rush city bakery provided paint brush rice crispies, primary colored glazed donuts, an amazing white frosted cake with paint dripping-and primary colored layers inside, with primary colored cake pops. All of our guests comment on how awesome the party food is from the bakery. The price is great too!

Rush City Bakery supplied all the Desserts for our dessert bar along with a small cake.
We had mini cheesecakes, mini eclairs, mini pies (apple & pecan), mini cream cheese
tarts with fresh berries, petifors , and rice krispie bars along with a lemon cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting. Our guests raved about the desserts and out of 600 desserts we only had a few rice krispie bars left! Not only did everything taste great, Rush City Bakery was great to work with.

My husband always raved about their bismark donuts and they're so good!

But we had used them for our wedding cake and cupcakes. Meg did such an amazing job with free-hand piping our wedding cake and added an accent color (one of our wedding colors) so it wasn't all white. It looked so beautiful and simple,just as we had wanted.

Our cupcakes looked great and tasted amazing. They were all moist and had the right amount of filling. I would recommend them to everyone.

I ordered a cutting cake as well as two sheet cakes and everything was amazing! They were willing to work with me on short notice and the cakes were beautiful and tasted great. Many of my guests came up to me and told me how good it was!

We (and our guests!) LOVED our cupcakes (+naked cake for the bride and groom). They have so many great flavors to choose from, offer a tasting before hand, and give great feedback on your choices to help guide you in the right direction (for both flavor and quantity). Meg helped us out a ton and she was super kind and responsive. I also really enjoyed their online invoice system - especially because we were organizing everything from the Twin Cities area. We got married at Creekside Farm Weddings and Events on 6/2 - so not only was this a great option because of the proximity of the bakery to our venue, but the items were chose were truly high quality while super reasonably priced and SOOOO tasty! I wish we lived up there so we could eat their stuff more often :) Definitely recommend!!!

Rush City Bakery had made a cake for my daughters Baby Shower last September and it turned out perfect. I am now working with Meg on my Wedding Cake for this September. Everything has been done four thousand miles apart and they have worked with me on my "last minute " changes. I definitely would recommend them to others.

Rush City Bakery was a joy to work with. We used mini cupcakes at our reception, and everyone raved about how good they were! Super yummy. The prices were also amazing. The only downside was that Rush City is a bit away from the Twin Cities metro. However, it was TOTALLY worth the drive. Because our wedding was on a Sunday, we picked the order up on Saturday and stored them in a fridge. Worked out just fine!

Best cupcakes according to many guests

The cupcakes and cake we received for our wedding were absolutely delicious! They were nice and moist! My wedding coordinator commented these are her favorite cupcakes!

Rush City Bakery made us a amazing cake and we also did cupcakes. Everyone of our guest thought it was delicious. Not only did our cake taste great, it looked wonderful and they are so reasonably priced.

We decided to go with Rush City bakery for our wedding cake, cupcakes, and dollar buns. The wedding cake and cupcakes were amazing. I got a ton of compliments on the cupcakes and even a few days after the wedding they were still good! The dollar buns worked out great for our 10 pm snack, but were a little too dry for some peoples liking. Overall, Meg, was awesome and helped me with any questions I had and was pretty quick at responding to e-mails.

We ordered mini pies for our wedding and they were Fantastic!! We also ordered a small cake for just us and the design was beautiful. We sent a picture of what we wanted to Meg and she designed it just like the picture! Fantastic food!

Absolutely thrilled with our cake! It was delicious and gorgeous. Meg was able to take my vision and turn it into the cake of my dreams. Hands down would buy again.
