  Dj Rupe made my daughters wedding day. A DJ is not only about the music but the MC for a very important day! DJ Rupe kept the evening moving and the guests on the dance floor. He ran music during the ceremony and also in the reception hall without missing a beat! I would recommend him to anyone. You will not be dissapointed!

  My Fiance and I just booked our wedding with DJ Rupe! While we have not had him as a DJ for our wedding yet (since the wedding is in September) we are very impressed with his responsiveness and how helpful he has been so far! Doug was so quick in returning all of my emails with a million questions that I always had for him. He had a phone interview with my fiance and I and sent out paperwork to us very shortly after! We were very impressed with how well he knows our Venue since he has done several weddings there and was married there himself! He has us SO excited for our September 10th wedding and we cannot wait!!

  Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! DJ Rupe made our day so special. He made sure he customized the event to fit us. He was very fun and all of my guests loved him. I highly recommend him!

  DJ Rupe was absolutely perfect. My wedding guests raved about him. He set up music outside for my ceremony and cocktail hour as well as inside for my reception. I gave him an idea of what kind of music I wanted played for each, and he came up with perfect playlists for each. He's super friendly and easy to work with. Great personality. My dance floor was overflowing- he kept everyone up there all night. I highly recommend him!!

  Our wedding was a FUN wedding, and we have Rupe to thank! He was wonderful to work with, came early and set up and did the music for the ceremony and reception. Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. If you have a wedding in the OC area, this is the guy to get! A++++

  DJ Rupe was amazing to work with. He was in constant communication with us throughout the planning process. He didn't mind when I added about 200 lines of songs to his sheet we fill out for music. He was spot-on with everything we asked him to do - announce the bridal party each to a different song, played the music we asked for, etc. He even played for the ceremony. Very animated and personal guy. We will stay friends with him for a long time and plan on going to see him DJ whenever we come to the beach. Highly recommended!!!

  dj rupe was the best. He made the night and he had everyone on the dance floor all night long. He will play whatever you want and he gives you a disc at the end of the night with the special songs on it. He has been my favorite dj for years, I am just so happy that my wedding date was available for him. Another thing, I would book early he gets booked pretty fast.

  When I first booked him I wanted DJ Rupe, not any of his associates. Rupe had understandable circumstances that did not allow him to attend the wedding. But his replacement was horrible. He showed up in casual attire, announced the wrong person for the blessing and lacked any personality. I should have saved my money and done an iPod reception.
  
  Again, DJ Rupe is wonderful, I've seen him in action and he has years of experience. The guy he sent was not as good as Rupe. When we tried to resolve the issues it was after the wedding and turned really bitter. My husband and I decided to let it go after we were told it was our word vs. theirs. Not worth the frustration but very upsetting when the DJ is one of the most visible vendors.

  I had a family emergancy and the DJ i sent has never had a problem in over 10 years, after talking to him, i found out the Bride set the DJ up in a completely seperate room where he could not see anything happening in the main room where the wedding was going on. My Dj went off the Info given by the Bride, so if he announced the wrong name, the bride give him the wrong name. And if they were so worried about how the DJ looked, why put him in a room where no one can see him, and he was dressed very nice, i saw him my self before he went to do the wedding. The bottom line is, some times no matter what you do, there is someone who wants to blame eveyone but who was responsable, Put the DJ in the same room so we can do the job we are meant to do, how can you do a great job, when you can see anyone. I don't think it would have mattered who was the DJ, this was set up to fail. Rupe Productions, Inc.
