  Decor looked great!

  We were having trouble finding a florist that would work with us since we did not have a detailed vision. Our goal was to find a florist who could take our preferences into consideration and suggest ideas based on their expertise of flower types, availability, etc. We spoke with so many florists and we were feeling discouraged until we found Ruby Slipper Design/Sandra! We're so glad we found Sandra because she was extremely easy to work with and made the entire process stress-free. Sandra had great communication throughout and was very reliable with set-up and tear-down for the wedding. Our guests commented on how beautiful the flowers and decor were, especially the head table decor. We really appreciate all of Ruby Slipper Design's work for our big day!

  Beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres

  Ruby Slipper did an amazing job with flowers for our wedding! The bouquets were exactly what we had envisioned and we got so many compliments. They were beautiful and fragrant. The delivery was on time with no issue. Sanda was so easy to work with- we filled out the form describing what we were looking for and she translated our thoughts into something perfect. Sandra was very communicative and we knew exactly what we would be getting and exactly the price we would pay. We would recommend Ruby Slipper in a heartbeat!

  Sandra is lovely

  I love that with sandra, you get two services in one if you need it. She does beautiful floral design and is so reasonably priced. She also has an impressive inventory of antiques and vintage furniture you can rent. I met with her and described my vision. She was upfront and honest with me about availability for the season during our wedding and cost. She also had great suggestions and ideas to offer. I got a proposal in a timely manner and booked her shortly after!

  Beautiful tables and rentals

  Sandra was so amazing. I contacted her last minute for farm table, cake stand, and drapery for the farm table for my wedding at Waldenwoods. She went out of her way to find someone to deliver the tables since she was out of town that weekend. So grateful for that because it truly made the room look absolutely stunning. She is quick at responding and very reliable!

  Pictures are worth a thousand words. When I arrived at the venue, I was floored at the beauty of what Sandra created. She provided the most amazing floral arrangements I have ever seen. She also provided the antique furniture, wine barrels, flower wall etc you see in the pictures. Everyone at the venue was commenting on how this was the most beautiful wedding they had been to. Sandra really cares about her brides and she went above and beyond my expectations. The flowers along the tree trunk were an unexpected surprise – I have never seen a tree decorated like this.   We used Ruby Slipper Design for my daughter's August 2017 wedding at Grosse Pointe War Memorial. Sandra was a pleasure to work with. She was very professional, kind and exceeded our vision of an elegant vintage-type wedding. The floral centerpieces and bouquets were exquisite. The quality of the flowers was exceptional. We received several compliments from our guests on the beautiful floral arrangements. Overall experience and customer service has been truly exceptional. I highly recommend Ruby Slipper Design.

  Sandy at Ruby Slipper Designs was great. Her aesthetic was exactly what I was looking for. She knew exactly what I wanted and executed it flawlessly. She even worked within my budget to help me out. She was very well organized and added great vintage touches. It was more than I expected.

  I knew Sandra would do a beautiful job, but I was absolutely blown away by her beautiful work!! I can't believe the job she did for us didn't cost thousands more than it did. She took a beautiful location and made it just magical. Everyone continually commented on the beautiful arrangements. Sandra was great to work with, and was able to fulfill a last minute request with not issue. She truly went above and beyond, and I am so thankful from the bottom of my overflowing heart!!!

  I was clicking through florists, when I saw a picture of Sandra's work, and I instantly fell in love. Working with her has been an absolute dream, and I seriously cannot recommend her enough. This isn't just a business to her, it's a love and a passion and that's clear and evident in everything she does.

When I walked out on my special day, it's like Sandra literally ripped her designs right out of my head. It was better than fabulous, it was breathtaking.
  
  Sandra was patient every time I "changed my mind" or called her to adjust something. Her prices are super affordable, she's great to work with, and most importantly, she is just a kind and genuine soul. When she saw me on my wedding day, we hugged and cried, and I felt like I had known her for years.
  
  I could not possibly recommend her enough. If I could give her 1,000 stars, I would.

  Sandra at Ruby Slipper Design was wonderful! She was always available by email. She did exactly what we asked for and the flowers were all beautiful. She also delivered them to the church and hall and set up the flowers on the table and cake at the hall. I would definitely recommend!

Sandra showed up with samples of what she was thinking and my daughter just knew she was right on track. The wedding was a fairytale come true, better than our expectations. Rave reviews on the flowers and the centerpieces. So unique, so enchanting. Even the event planner at our venue (Masonic Temple) asked for pictures. I'd say Sandra is truly a designer. Easy to work with, loves to get your input, and then really applies what you tell her. Very enthusiastic and fun!

  What can I say, Sandra made the venue (Waldenwoods) look STUNNING! I received SO many compliments about the decor. Our centerpieces were lovely and more than I had ever envisioned myself. She definitely exceeded my expectations. Our bouquets were also way more beautiful than I would ever have thought. You truly get so much from working with Sandra. The vintage pieces we used (via Serradella Vintage) really complimented the flowers. I really just showed her some pictures, gave her my vision, and she executed flawlessly. 100% Recommend.

My godmother cried she felt so special. She listened to every idea I had and quite literally brought it to life. My bouquet was breathtaking as was my maid of honors. The flower wreath she made for the flower girl to wear on her head was so sweet. The ceremony flowers made every photo pop. When I walked into the reception and saw the table arrangements, it took my breath away. She is so creative. It was literally like walking into a fairytale. My guests still talk about how beautiful everything was. I can't begin to thank her enough!

  Sandi from Ruby Slipper was incredible to work with and the results were outstandingly beautiful. We rented farm tables from Ruby Slipper and Sandi worked with us to create a rustic elegant table decor. Many of our guests commented that ours was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Sandi was a true pleasure to work with.

  Sandy at Ruby Slipper Design was amazing! I first met her at the Brighton Bridal Show where I was walking around with a torn magazine photo of a flower that I had no idea what it was but I liked it. When I showed it to her she immediately knew that it was an astilbe. I called her a few weeks later to set up an appointment and I came prepared with ideas. Of course when I showed her the centerpieces that I really liked, it ended up being a very expensive flower and I knew I wasn't going to spend that much. She was very creative and helped me think of ideas to keep the look I wanted ("light, airy, sophisticated, simple") and keep my costs down.   Sandy at Ruby Slipper Design was amazing! I first met her at the Brighton Bridal Show where I was walking around with a torn magazine photo of a flower that I had no idea what it was but I liked it. When I showed it to her she immediately knew that it was an astilbe. I called her a few weeks later to set up an appointment and I came prepared with ideas. Of course when I showed her the centerpieces that I really liked, it ended up being a very expensive flower and I knew I wasn't going to spend that much. She was very creative and helped me think of ideas to keep the look I wanted ("light, airy, sophisticated, simple") and keep my costs down.   I hired Sandra last minute for my reception flowers and she exceeded all expectations! My bouquet was exactly like i wanted it and the arch was a crowd favorite as a photo spot. Sandra accommodated me in wanting to use my own lanterns for centerpieces and went above and beyond by decorating tables I didn’t even think would be decorated. They were prompt in being there for takedown and they were so attentive in setting up! I was so incredibly pleased with Sandra and her work and would work with her again in an instant.

  I love my flowers!!!! Sandra was a recommendation from our wedding coordinator (Ashley Lynch- Festoons and Flourishes). We met with one other florist and Sandra later in the day. When I sat down with Sandra and showed her my ideas she was open to everything! It's like there was no one way to do wedding flowers and I loved that about her immediately. We began brainstorming what would look pretty, what flowers I liked, she kept saying "Oh! That's so fun! I've never done that before, I can't wait to start thinking about that". I don't know anything about flowers, I had to research every single flower she suggested, but I still had a vision in my mind of what the arrangements should look like and she totally made that dream come true. If you want someone who is going to sit down and show you a spreadsheet of wedding flowers and their costs, then Sandra isn't for you - she is fun, creative, and sometimes you might catch her while she'd driving in her car, but her work is amazing and she really listens to what you want. My wedding was very elegant, classic, Audrey Hepburn style, so don't be fooled by her more rustic photos, she is capable of anything. For what we paid, we think her services and time and creations were beyond reasonable!

  Ruby Slipper Design has the most beauty farm tables for your wedding. My daughter got married at Waldenwoods and saw these tables at the Bridal shows and tasting there the year before her wedding and just had to have them. Sandy had lots of neat stuff at her shop. She is a very nice lady and a very busy lady. She has difficulty responding sometimes because I think she is so busy. She did forget a bike for our wedding but again I think they were so busy that it got let on the truck and our florist who is a friend of hers called her and had them drop it off. If you really want that vintage look then go to Ruby Slipper Design they have it all.
