Tee was amazing to work with

Our wedding day was an amazing day, and that is due in large part to Royalty Flowers. From the moment we first contacted Tee, we have been counting down the days until we could experience her work and talents in person. Our family and friends are still complimenting us on the job well done with the bouquets, centerpieces, arch, etc and for that we will be forever grateful. Our wedding looked so magical. We wish we could relive our wedding day all over again for so many reasons, and one of them is to get to work with Tee again. Thank you again for making our day unforgettable and bringing our vision to life and I will be sure to recommend you to anyone I know getting married in the area.

Gorgeous flowers from Royalty flowers

We were absolutely delighted with the bouquets,centerpieces,and floral arrangements for my daughter’s wedding. We had to arrange everything by phone and email. Tee was so easy and flexible to work with. She truly cared about getting every thing the way we wanted and made both the changes we needed and offered suggestions by sending pics of flowers we might use. Many guests complimented the gorgeous flowers. Tee is a pleasure to work with!

Tee was so great to work with and she did an amazing job with our wedding flowers. She was always available to chat about our vision, attended a walk through at our venue, and was so kind and caring throughout the entire process. Royalty flowers made me feel like royalty

Ms. Tee the owner and operator of Royalty Flowers is a truly amazing woman. First let me say our wedding was the day before Mother’s Day. Little did we know that no florist wants to do a wedding that day. But Tee said she was happy to help us. While others florist said that they would mark up their services, tee did not charge us extra. She constantly was send me ideas, trying to figure out how to make my day perfect. She told me she was an artist, and she wasn’t kidding. Every guest we spoke with raved about how amazing the wedding was, and specifically how lovely the flowers where. Her flower arrangements exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a florist in northern Virginia or Maryland, royalty should be at the top of your list. I truly can’t say enough about the professionalism and beauty!

Fabulous Flowers at a Great Price - Highly Recommend!!

Tee at Royalty Flowers was absolutely incredible to work with from start to finish. She asked all the right questions to understand my vision for our flower arrangements and was able to work within my budget to create stunning centerpieces, beautiful bouquets for my bridesmaids, elegant boutonnieres, and a gorgeous bouquet for me. Day-of, Tee arrived early to deliver the bouquets and boutonnieres and then went above and beyond to set up the centerpieces, even adding extra flowers that she brought to make sure each arrangement was perfect. Everything looked amazing and we got countless compliments from guests. I highly recommend working with Royalty Flowers--you'll get your dream wedding or event at a very reasonable price!

Beautiful flowers, great service!

Royalty Flowers helped make our wedding amazing! They were very responsive to our requests and good at explaining what options we had. Beautiful wedding floral arrangements

I contacted Royalty Flowers and within minutes Tee and I were exchanging photos of floral arrangements. Tee knew exactly what I wanted with a quick description of my vision. When I walked into the reception the florals were beautiful and smelled great!

The best - truly stunning!

Tee and her team at Royalty Flowers did an outstanding job on our wedding flowers! During our phone call consultation she sent us lots of example photos, explained the types of flowers (and what to Google), provided recommendations and advice, and suggested ways to stick to our budget while still having beautiful arrangements! Received so many compliments on the flowers and they were exactly what I pictured! She and her team have a real eye for design and blew me away with their creations. We also rented podiums and vases which she generously allowed us to drop off a week later after we returned from our honeymoon. She and the team are so sweet and a joy to work with. I highly recommend Royalty Flowers for any floral needs, especially weddings - you won’t regret it!

Spectacular -- Stellar Florist

You should use Royalty Flowers if you want friendly, professional service that will exceed your expectations. Tee and her team were stellar in their execution of my wedding flowers and decor. They went above and beyond in giving the best service and recommendations. My guests were "wowed" by the floral arrangements and decor. Truly an Artist

I knew from the first time we spoke Miss Tee was an artist and she did truly truly is. The flowers she provided for my wedding were so unbelievably stunning. It’s almost funny to me because under “would to recommend this vendor” I want to say “absolutely.”
Due to omicron we had to change our venue and downsize significantly but the service Royalty flowers provided never wavered and instead really help add something I think I wasn’t even aware was needed to have the day sparkle.
I don’t think I can say enough about how stunning and wonderful the service provided by Royalty Flowers is.
Also the bouquet was so gorgeous. I literally kept staring at it during the ceremony 😂. Everything was perfect. Somehow Miss Tee plucked what I wanted out of my head and made it real. She is such a gifted artist. I love what she did so much.

Excellent!

Our son was getting married in Alexandria, VA. We are out of state and no clue who to call. I got a recommendation from another local florist to use Tee at Royalty Flowers. After a verbal conversation, a few sample pictures sent, we got our game plan down. Upon arrival the day of rehearsal dinner, my daughter and I went by to check them out. We were amazed at how gorgeous these arrangements were with huge blooms! Tee was attentive to detail, responsive, and overall excellent service. I highly recommend using them for any occasion you might have. You will not be disappointed.

My wedding bouquet was absolutely beautiful! As were the bouquets for my bridesmaids and boutonnieres for the groomsmen.
Tee was incredibly attentive and stayed involved/accesible during the entire creation process. She always made time to listen to any and all concerns. Professionalism was top notch. Royalty Flowers should definitely be your go to for all your wedding flower needs. You won’t be disappointed!

Gorgeous!!!

Tee is a wonder! She made our wedding so beautiful and took a lovely venue from a 10/10 to an 11/10. We ordered a bridal bouquet, two mothers bouquets, boutonnieres, a table arrangement, and an arch decoration.

I love beautiful flowers, but not very knowledgeable in the slightest. Tee did an amazing job talking me through what I liked and wanted and was able to magically create the most beautiful arrangements from my vague recommendations. She was phenomenally responsive and made sure everyone had all the information they needed (including a full list of the flowers she was planning to use).

She was incredibly gracious when we had to first reschedule our 2020 wedding and eventually change our 2021 wedding to a small elopement with just our parents. She still delivered her absolute best and both sets of parents commented on how much they loved the flowers.

Amazing Florist with skills and professionalism.

I am so impressed with Royalty Florist Design! Every clients that I have referred to Royalty Flowers are always so impressed. Tee and her team are extremely professional and passionately skillful in all the arrangements they create. My clients calls me to say thank you after using the services of Royalty Flowers. Besides the flowers themselves being gorgeous (and affordable!), the lovely folks at Royalty Flowers are extremely professional and very knowledgeable. Royalty Flowers made my 50th birthday celebration an amazing celebration. The Flowers were fresh, colorful and so rich in all the tables. Best Florist You Will Find!

Tee did a phenomenal job for my wedding in March! (Just before coronavirus locked everything down). I called several florists and from the very first call with her I could tell she got my vision, and her proposal for the job was priced fairly. I have had bad experiences with florists before, but I sent her pictures of what I wanted and everything turned out EXACTLY how we envisioned it. Can't say enough good things about working with her and would highly recommend! She is an amazing florist and a wonderful person! COVID-19 made getting married a challenge, but Tee was so supportive and encouraging, and I'm so thankful we had her help in making the best out of challenging circumstances.

Melanie and staff did a fantastic job! My daughter had a very small wedding luncheon and only one wedding bouquet. I was afraid Melanie would not be interested in such a small event. In addition, she was working on her own wedding arrangements which took place only the week before and certainly had a lot on her mind. Not only was she very accommodating, but because of her vast experience as a florist, it was easy for her to come up with exactly what my "very picky" daughter wanted! The size of the arrangements, the exact types and shades of the flowers - and her timely delivery of everything. Will I use her services again - yes - and again and again. Melanie did an amazing job on my flowers for my wedding. All of the centerpieces, cake flowers, corsages, boutonnieres, bridesmaids bouquets, etc. We're beautiful but my bouquet was Stunning! We didn't have anything particular in mind for our wedding flowers, so I met with Melanie and told her our color scheme and general style and asked her create something that would look nice. The flowers looked absolutely SPECTACULAR!! The bouquets, table decorations, and centerpieces tied together all of the colors, and the style fit us perfectly. We got tons of compliments on the flowers and they made our pictures from the day look stunning. We couldn't have been happier!

Melanie was amazing! From my first meeting with her, I was so excited to see the final products for our wedding. She was a delight to work with, and DAYS after my wedding, the flowers I kept (one vase from the tables and my bouquet) still look amazing. I used Royalty Flowers for both my wedding ceremony at our church in Purcellville, VA and for our wedding reception at the Officers Club at Fort Myer, VA. Melanie did a fantastic job on everything from our initial consultations with her to delivery and set up. Although, I was getting married so close to Valentines Day, I initially expected flower prices to be high and to not have as much selection in the winter months. I was wrong!! Melanie created lush and full beautiful arrangements in the colors I selected with multiple flower types and greenery. She was so easy to work with and really nailed my vision. I received so many compliments from our wedding guests, that they were the most beautiful flowers they have ever seen for a wedding.
Originally, I had planned for my bridesmaids to wear fur muffs instead of bouquets, however 2 days before my event, the weather man called for 70 degree weather in the middle of February, and I quickly called Melanie, she was able to make 5 bridesmaid bouquets in record time and really saved me! Melanie was very flexible and delivered to my church over an hour away from her location and the reception. I highly recommend everyone to use Royalty Flowers for all their needs, if you want to WOW your guests, she will definitely accomplish that!

Royalty Flowers was absolutely amazing! I had never had a "dream wedding" growing up, and I honestly didn't care for flowers. I had a very vague idea of what I wanted after browsing winter weddings on Pinterest and Royalty Flowers really blew me away with their arrangements. And don't even get me started on my bouquet... it was BEAUTIFUL. It was absolutely perfect and suited myself and our wedding perfectly. I could not be happier with our decision to go with Royalty Flowers.

Melanie did an amazing job with the flowers for my wedding! I don't really have much of an artistic eye, so I was really hoping to find a florist that could help me figure out what I was looking for by looking at a few pictures I had found of flowers that I liked and then turn it into something beautiful! Melanie did just that and the results were truly beautiful! She clearly knows her stuff and is super organized! When we chatted with her for the first time, she was so full of ideas and I was very impressed with both how organized she was and how easily she was able to help me figure out what I wanted. She is an awesome florist and you won't be disappointed if you book her for your wedding! If I could give Melanie more than 5 stars, I would! Melanie met with my entire family to discuss the floral arrangements for our wedding and she made each family member feel so welcome and appreciated. She took everyone's input and created the most stunning floral arrangements that were even more beautiful than I expected. We got tons of compliments on them at the wedding. The prices are extremely reasonable, and Melanie provides excellent customer service. I can't recommend her enough!

Melanie and Royalty Flowers is FANTASTIC! Working with Melanie is fun, reassuring, and easy. She is an artist. I trusted her vision with my wedding only designating a natural, classic, timeless look. She created such beautiful bouquets for my bridal party, as well as center pieces for my reception. Aside from my dress, the flowers had the most compliments! She created a special lap bouquet for my sister in a wheelchair, which turned out just breathtaking. She can work with anything your heart desires, but if I may suggest, give her the bare minimum requirements and let her do her magic! You won't be disappointed. Would I recommend her? Absolutely! The flowers for my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception were so so beautiful. Every floral arrangement was simply beautiful and it was such a pleasure to work with Melanie. Also, I took a centerpiece from the reception back to the hotel and when I was leaving, two days later, the flowers still looked so fresh and beautiful. I could not bring myself to throwing the flowers away. I gave the pretty flowers to a hotel staff member and she expressed great joy for receiving the beautiful flowers. From the moment I saw the bridesmaids bouquets, to the flowers in the church, and at the reception, I was blown away! I knew they would be beautiful, but you really outdid yourselves!!! The flowers on the alter at church were so full and beautiful. The colors worked wonderfully together and our guests were constantly asking who did the flowers. Melanie, you were so attentive at our in-person meeting and whenever I contacted you, you got back to me right away and were always very friendly with each request. Melanie is wonderful! Very professional and she does beautiful work, We received so many compliments on my bouquet and the centerpieces, exactly like we pictured! Also, we were undecided until the last minute whether we were going to DIY a big portion of the flowers or have them done professionally, and Melanie was very accommodating. Royalty Flowers was one of the options in our package that included flowers for our reception. We used Royalty Flowers for our ceremony flowers as well. Melanie was amazing and very flexible. My mom and I changed our mind about size/type/inclusion of altar flowers at least 6 different times, and she was very willing to change our order each time. Reception flowers were included with our package, but we decided to go ahead and do the ceremony flowers from the same place so they would all look the same. Our reception centerpieces were wonderful. They matched the color swatches that I had given Melanie and were low in height like I requested so that guests could talk to each other. The ceremony flowers were perfect too. I didn't have specific flowers in mind, but I gave Melanie an idea for what type/color of flowers I wanted for the bouquets. When she sent the first estimate back the amount was higher than my budget allowed for flowers. I e-mailed her back with a desired amount for the bouquets and she adjusted the number and type of flowers accordingly. My husband was also very specific about the boutonnieres. He wanted his flower to be the same size as his groomsmen, and to not have any "extra, frilly things." Melanie did a great job creating exactly this for him. All flowers arrived at the church and reception venue on time. I emailed Melanie after meeting with my church coordinator to make sure that none of the pew arrangements would drip water on the floor. She assured me they would not, and they did not! I would highly recommend Royalty Flowers to everyone, and will be using them for future flower orders.

Melanie and her mother at Royalty Flowers was one of the best things about my wedding. After meeting with another florist (Mike, Ft. Belvoir recommended him) I felt so deflated and not worthy of pretty flowers at the mass ceremony and reception because of my budget (2.5k). All of my fears, anxiety and frankly hurt feelings melted away as soon as I had my consult with Melanie. She was patient, flexible and so incredibly knowledgeable about the wedding flower process- from bouquets to church alter flowers, to the reception table pieces. She delivered and SET UP the flowers morning of to both the church and Officers Club. My cousin is a florist, and she as well as so many wedding guests were blown away at the beauty, value, and professionalism from Royalty Flowers. The table centerpieces/bouquets were fillled to the brim with hydrangea, peonies and dahlias- looked 5x as much as it cost. Brides- do yourselves a favor and hire Melanie NOW. She will make your day look as beautiful as you feel.

Melanie and her team at royalty flowers were amazing. Our flowers were more than perfect. I had asked for color and given her my top three favorite flowers ( calilily, gerber daisy, roses) and she made the most exquisite center pieces, bride, bridesmaid and even flower girl bouquets. the corsages for family and boutonnieres were also perfect. Melanie took the time to get to know exactly what I had pictured for my wedding and delivered beyond my expectations. they were also flexible and were able to deliver a batch of the flowers early for our pictures before the wedding. I would highly recommend them for ANY event and will use them again for my next party! I would give them a six if it were an option!!!

Melanie is amazing!!! We were referred to her company by the Fort Myer Officers Club, who keeps a list of preferred vendors, and I'm SO happy we were. I went to her with several pictures and a general concept of what I wanted ("big, white, poofy!"), and, my goodness, did that girl deliver. She created beautiful pieces without a ton of direction from me, and her communication was so solid that I was never worried about anything (which is big for me, since I'm a type-A psycho). We ended up upgrading the centerpieces so they were even bigger and poofier (very pleased with that decision!), and she did several details for me (wrapping the sleeve of my mother's wedding dress around my bouquet, and creating wreaths for the back of our chairs at the reception). She left no detail unconfirmed (she texted me the day before confirming the color of ribbon on the bridesmaids bouquets, which I really appreciated!), and the day-of the drop off of everything went perfectly. By the end of it all I felt like she was just a fun girlfriend helping me with planning the wedding, and the flowers could not have turned out prettier.

Melanie was great to work with. She is one of the flower vendors working with FT Myer Officer Club and she was recommended to me by my wedding coordinator. I didn't know what type of flowers I wanted but Melanie met with me and she took notes of what colors I like, described and suggested certain types of flowers to me, and I chose what was available for the season. She got exactly what I was envisioning for my bouquet and the flower décor for my reception, even when I didn't know exactly what I wanted. She really listened and delivered on what I liked.

Melanie was absolutely wonderful to work with, and every arrangement she made for our wedding was beautiful. We had some miscommunication with our church regarding what flowers they would allow, and Melanie was very flexible as we tried to figure out what could be done. Her flexibility significantly reduced our stress during the last few weeks before the wedding, which was very helpful! Mel is the best florist I had the pleasure of working with. She's very good at coming up with creative settings when provided little direction and is also very detailed. For my wedding, we provided her with a theme and color-scheme, and she walked us through the various floral options. She also delivers on time and is very generous with her arrangements.

I love Royalty Flowers! I don't know much about flowers so it was such a relief to have Melanie's help. She's so knowledgeable about her craft that she can help you with ideas as well as what you might not think of for decorations. She's very sweet and friendly, it was always a relaxed feeling talking to her. Her prices are fair and she's very flexible. Not to mention, all the flowers looked incredible on our wedding day. we have no words to explain how beautiful her work was. Melanie was in charge of the reception arrangements. Tables, bouquet, altar arrangement, boutonnieres, and even she finished the decoration on our wedding cake. We were amazed with her work, she walked us through every single option on what flower to use that will go with our colors. I need to say that I have never seen a flower bouquet as beautiful as mine. it was gorgeous , big, full with color and brightness. if i would know how to attache a picture here I would do it immediately for all brides to see what Melanie can do.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Melanie and Royalty Flowers! From beginning to end, she was such a pleasure to work with. I don't know much about flowers so she truly made my vision come to life. They were exactly what I had described and envisioned. She was very flexible with an indecisive bride (and her mother) and the pricing was very reasonable. I received so many compliments on the flowers and had several people ask me where I got them. I know nothing about flowers, so Melanie was absolutely terrific with guiding me through the process. I used Melanie for both my bridal shower and my wedding reception, and she was wonderful. First off, her personality and creativity really clicked for me. I would give her ideas and she would present many options to me. For example, I wanted bright colors for the wedding, and she threw in some caution about not going too bold because then it would look like a tropical wedding in DC, which is what I did not want. Logistically, she is on top of her game, and I never had a doubt that she would have everything set up in time. I'm actually sad that I won't be working with her in the near future...that's how much of a wonderful person she is. BUT I do know that when I have another event, I will be calling on her and her team.

The wedding flowers were AMAZING! Not to mention, Melanie was such a great person to work with. We were planning our wedding from far away so communication was a must. She was very responsive and flexible with her time and understanding of our "vision". On the day of the wedding, Melanie was punctual with the setup at both locations and all the flowers were freshly bloomed at it's peak. She assembled all of the bouquets and table arrangements beautifully and even replicated a lot of my Pinterest ideas. She's the best, and we highly recommend her.

Melanie is very responsive and she is very creative. I had a set budget and big ideas for the flowers for my wedding. She worked around all of that and gave me options that exceeded my expectations. All of the bouquets were spectacular, the centerpieces were beautiful, and Melanie met with me multiple times to go over the vision for the wedding.

I had a nautical theme and the wedding flowers tied in so well with the theme. I had so many compliments on the flowers and I took home a lot of the arrangements and bouquets. They lasted more than 2 weeks, so you don't have anything to worry about when it comes to the day of. Your flowers will remain beautiful throughout the day, and for many days after that.

I don't have enough good things to say about Royalty Flowers Incorporated! From the moment we first discussed the event to the day-of, it was a wonderful experience and they knew EXACTLY what I was looking for and boy did they deliver! We had two weddings, one focused on Thai cultural traditions and the other was the civil ceremony and reception, both with very different styles. Royalty was able to capture both days perfectly! The arrangements for the Thai wedding were more formal and sophisticated, fit for royalty and simply stunning! For our civil cermony at a barn, they were looser and fun, and I felt like we were had walked into a fabulous flower garden. And my bouquet was insanely gorgeous! Lush, fragrant peonies! Everything was better than i could have ever dreamed. I felt like I wanted into a wedding magazine at both events! We filled our home for over a week with the reception flowers afterwards and they held up beautifully! Very gracious and friendly from beginning to end. I'd give them 100 stars if I could. Highly highly recommend.

My flowers were PERFECT!! Melanie has so much experience, and she has amazing taste. I brought her pictures of flowers I liked, and she took my vision and applied it to every aspect. She did my bouquet, the bridesmaids, the groom, the groomsmen, the parents' corsages, the table centerpieces, cake table, chapel altar and even a "throwing" bouquet to throw during the bouquet toss so I wouldn't have to give mine up. We realized when we met with her that she had done the flowers for my sister's wedding 10 years earlier, so we loved that we kept it in the family. I got so many compliments on the flowers, and they lasted for days afterwards. My bouquet was a little heavy, but that turned out to be a good thing!

There aren’t enough words to describe how AWESOME Melanie and her mother were during my wedding process. I was first introduced to Melanie during a bridal show in Virginia. Melanie was so gracious and kind. I soon made an appointment with her to discuss my wedding plans. Melanie was friendly and listened to what my vision was for our wedding. She asked detailed questions and provided her professional opinion. It helps to bring pictures of what floral arrangements you want during your consultation.

On the day of my wedding, Melanie delivered my floral arrangements and everything was beautiful. The alter arrangements and bridal arrangements were beyond what I could have ever envisioned. I cannot begin to count how many changes I made to our flowers for our wedding. Melanie was absolutely amazing every time I called or emailed with a new change. She stayed after hours to meet with me when I was very anxious about the flowers working with the bridesmaid dresses. Everything was absolutely perfect from my bouquet down to the flower girl's floral wreath. I highly recommend them!

Melanie was very accommodating to me especially as a client from out of town. She met with me whenever I popped up into town and in our scheduled appointments. She did things I didn't ask for that enhanced my wedding decor. She delivered all of the flowers personally and on-time. I highly recommend her services.

Breathtaking flowers. Absolutely breathtaking. We mostly worked with Melanie. She had wonderful suggestions, as I had a hard time envisioning what I wanted. Everything turned out even more beautiful than I could ever imagine! Melanie was an angel to work with. Somehow one of the boutineirs was missing when the flowers were dropped off at the church, but I didn't stress for a second and Melanie took care of everything! All my guests were raving about the arrangements. Very responsive. I would definitely recommend them!

I chose Royal Floral Designs almost completed based upon reviews I found online. Upon meeting with Melanie in person, she exceeded my expectations and made it so easy to trust my bouquets to her and her mother. We had five bridesmaids, seven groomsmen, and so many special corsages and boutonnieres. Melanie and Joy made each and every arrangement look absolutely gorgeous. I had a vision in mind of natural looking green and white flowers for my bouquet, green for my MOH, and white for the other bridesmaids. Royal Floral Designs pulled it off so elegantly...and UNDER budget! I was so impressed that while Melanie knew our budget, she came back with flowers and selections that were exactly what I wanted, and fell below the budget we'd given her!! Each bouquet was accented by peacock feathers, and they even helped me incorporate a special family rosary into my own bouquet. I would definitely recommend Royal Floral Design to any bride looking for the perfect arrangement!

My sweetheart and I were married 04/13/13 at the Fort Myer Officer's Club. For our floral arrangements I worked with Melanie from Royal Floral Designs. I highly recommend this vendor. Melanie was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and accommodating to all my requests and brought my vision to life! Every arrangement was beautiful, the bouquets, the corsages and the arrangements at the reception etc were all fabulous. The prices were reasonable and I could not have asked for anything more. Royal Floral did an amazing job for my Jan '13 wedding. All the flowers, for the church and the reception, were absolutely beautiful. They were also very accomodating, having to add items at my request last minute without any problem. The price was reasonable. Melanie was very professional and on-time at all times. I highly recommend Royal Floral Designs for all your wedding flower needs! They are so professional and have wonderful floral ideas. They create such gorgeous arrangements, centerpieces, and bouquets! I hired them for both my daughters' weddings (one daughter married on January 5, 2013, and the other daughter married April 2, 2011). We always had full confidence that they would do a fabulous job, and they did! Joy and Melanie really understand what flowers look good together. (We're still getting complements about the flowers from both weddings!) Joy even made a special centerpiece for my daughter's Sweetheart Table, and it was beautiful! They also gave a complementary 'toss bouquet', which was a great idea so she could keep her own bouquet! It's easy to get in touch with them... either by phone or e-mail. Melanie is very good at responding to the e-mails and phone calls. They were very patient with me if we made any changes or asked questions. When my daughter & her fiance came into town this past Thanksgiving, Joy made special time for us all to meet during that weekend to discuss the flowers. My daughter was so happy with how everything looked, and we really appreciate all their hard work. I highly recommend Royal Floral Designs for your wedding (or for your daughter's wedding)! These folks were absolutely super. They got the flowers exactly right!! The bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and cake decorations were spot on. I was from out of town and six hours ahead so we could only talk infrequently by phone and internet. They were very accommodating for the various special requests that I had - special colored leaves, a rose for a military table of honor, charging my card by phone, etc. They made it all happen and with no fuss. I highly recommend Royal Floral Designs.

My fiance and I had been searching for weeks for a reputable florist which was made difficult due to the large number of businesses available in Northern VA and further exacerbated by the fact that we were planning this wedding from Richmond and VA beach. We wanted to throw a celebration fit for a queen on a pauper's budget and found the answer to our prayers at Royal Floral Designs. I knew exactly what I wanted my centerpieces to look like down to the golden hue of the vase. With some ingenuity and research, we were able to create a gorgeous setting for every table at an unbeatable price. I am grateful to Melanie and her sweet mother for making my bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and centerpieces so beautiful!They put a lot of their heart and soul into making sure that the end-product was flawless and all our guests were in love. Royal Floral took plenty of time to discuss my vision with me. They were helpful in suggesting flowers that would create the look I wanted. First the customer service was top notch and that is what drew me in. Meeting Joy and Melanie at the Great Bridal expo in Alexandria, VA was the beginning of our relationship. Joy took my vision and turned it into a wonderful display of floral arrangements. Definitely a florist I would use again and recommend to everyone one.

Melanie and her mom Joy were fantastic and I cannot imagine having worked with a more responsive and talented florist for our wedding. Melanie was always prompt with her responses to my inquiries and she and her mom designed our floral arrangements exactly how I envisioned them to be, except that they were even more beautiful than I expected. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and talent were everything a bride (and groom) could hope for in a florist. The tall and slim vases they used for our arrangements (and they even matched the price of an online competitor!) were elegant and chic! Our red and white arrangements looked simply beautiful! We were more than impressed!

Royal Floral Design are true professionals. I don't know a lot about flowers and all I did was tell them the colors of the bridesmaids dresses and within a few minutes. I was provided 3 pages of what would look the best with those colors and which flowers would be in season. All of the floral arrangements were gorgeous and price is the best in the area.

This florist, though their shop doesn't look like much does excellent work. They are great with email communications. Their prices are very fair. Their product superior. The flowers got so many rave reviews from our guests. They were all at the perfect amount of open. I have never seen such large beartiful white lillies and yellow roses. My flowers were amazing. THanks so much!!! And, there business/billing person is great too!

Choosing Royal Floral Designs out of Springfield, VA for my DC wedding in June '11 was a great choice! The product met all of my expectations and was definitely the best value I found! Working with Joy, I could tell she knew what she was doing and had been doing it for a long time. I was confident in her design even though there was sometimes a language barrier. Even though I was only going to order the attendants' flowers through her at first, I ended up adding multiple tall vase arrangements to decorate my cocktail hour and she had no problem bringing my vision to life at the end. Unfortunately a couple of the vases were broken at my event, but she was kind enough not to charge me and was just glad I had a perfect day.

Joy and her team do beautiful work! I was introduced to Joy through my wedding venue (Fort Myer Officers Club) and after meeting with her, I did not go anywhere else. She knew her stuff and when the "packages" offered through the venue were nothing I liked, she worked with me to create exactly what I wanted, at extremely reasonable prices. She was very professional and the flowers arrived on time and were gorgeous - more than I could have imagined. Don't let the location of the shop fool you - this a full service florist shop. Try her - you won't regret it!

After receiving a rather disappointing estimate from a nearby well-known florist (we thought perhaps it was just an unfortunate reality check against our planned budget), we were referred to Royal Floral Designs.

Upon explanation of our vision, Joy's wheels began spinning and she began describing exactly what we were looking for. She didn't have flowers on-hand to demonstrate possibilities but you can tell she's arranging them just fine in her head. Joy was also flexible as we introduced changes even up to the day before the wedding.

On the wedding day, the arrangements exceeded our expectations we had and yet matched exactly what we had described.

Joy did a phenomenal job. She runs a small shop but her creativity far surpasses what you'll find in the more well-known florists in the area.

I came to Royal Florist Design with pictures of a few bouquets that I liked and the color of my bridesmaid dresses - and no additional knowledge of flowers! Joy did a great job of working with me and my mom to show me the flowers she recommended, keeping in mind the price of different flowers to ensure the bouquets weren't too expensive. The end result was absolutely lovely and just what I wanted. Joy has an intuitive knowledge of what will look beautiful and was able to quickly and easily understand what I was looking for.
