I made the best choice by selecting Royal Makeup and Hair for my wedding day! My bridesmaids loved the way they looked, and I especially thought Kimmy did an absolutely amazing job with my bridal hair and makeup! She also saved the day with my veil by taking out the built in brush and pinning it into my hair exactly where it needed to be. It looked perfect!! I would recommend this Savannah crew over and over again. -

We got married in Savannah May of 2024 and chose the All Day Package from Royal Makeup & Hair. I can't say enough good things about this company, they were so professional and communicative throughout the entire process and made my day so much easier! Georgeanna was my HMU artist and she was incredible!!! Having her there through the ceremony was amazing for touch ups post ceremony since there were definitely some tears and some sweat since again, it was May in Savannah! I felt like a model as she stood there with the photographer making sure I looked perfect for every picture! I have a LOT of hair and she was able to bring my vision to life and it did not move once despite lots and lots of dancing! I cannot recommend this company enough!! -

My husband and I got engaged and then married fairly quickly, which meant we were on a tight timeline to get everything organized before the big day. Because of that, my vendor options were somewhat limited in the area. I initially found it difficult to determine whether Royal Beauty was a company I could fully trust, as I wasn’t able to find many photos or portfolios for individual artists on social media like I could with some other companies. This gave me a bit of hesitation before committing.
To help ease those concerns, I made the effort to travel for a hair and makeup trial—my wedding was a destination wedding, so it was quite a trip. While coordinating the trial, I was in communication with the company, and they asked where the artist should meet me. Unfortunately, there was some miscommunication on my part, as I hadn’t realized that the artists were contracted and didn’t work out of a salon or studio. I had already checked out of my hotel and no longer had a place for the artist to come to. Thankfully, the team was able to work with me to still make the trial happen, which I really appreciated.
During the trial, there were a few aspects I wasn’t completely happy with at first, but Lauren G. was incredibly patient and proactive, continually asking for feedback and making adjustments based on my input. That meant a lot to me, especially since I tend to be on the shy side and don’t always feel comfortable voicing concerns. Afterward, I spoke with Kelsey to share a few of my lingering concerns, and she was very receptive—she offered suggestions and solutions for how things could be improved on the wedding day, which helped ease my nerves.
Going into the wedding, I was still a bit anxious, but the team absolutely exceeded my expectations. The changes we discussed were implemented perfectly, and both my hair and makeup turned out exactly as I had hoped. In terms of pricing, I found Royal Beauty to be on par with—or even slightly below—what I had seen from other vendors during my research. That said, their travel fees can be on the higher side compared to some other companies, so I’d recommend factoring that in if your wedding is a good distance from the artists' base. (Mine was in Hilton Head, and the travel costs were fairly significant.)
Both artists were lovely to be around and brought such a calm and friendly energy to the morning. I received so many compliments on the bridesmaids' hairstyles done by Meagan B., and my own hair and makeup by Lauren G. were beautiful. All in all, I’d definitely recommend Royal Beauty in Savannah—they do great work, are flexible, and truly aim to accommodate their clients. Communication with Kelsey was also very easy and responsive throughout the process

I am an out of state bride who got married in Savannah, and Royal Hair and Makeup was recommended to me for makeup services for my bridal party and me! Booking was smooth, and the team was responsive and helpful. I was booked with Aly and she was wonderful to work with - warm, friendly, professional, and very talented! Definitely put me at ease on the big day! She listened to what each of the ladies wanted and adjusted well to each skin type and coloring - everyone looked flawless! My MIL thought it was the best Makeup application she had ever had. Aly was easy to talk to and also shared some tips for us! She helped make our wedding day special and the getting ready process smooth and relaxed!

I used Royal Makeup and Hair for my wedding in Savannah, GA. Michelle was super responsive and made scheduling our party of 9 people super easy and seamless. They provided an incredible experience for me and my bridal party from start to finish. Crystal was my hair and makeup artist and she was incredible. My mom and I both did a trial with her and she absolutely perfected both of our looks, and was very receptive to small tweaks and minor feedback. For the actual wedding day, Crystal did such an amazing job. My hair and makeup turned out absolutely perfect and she did such a good job that barely any touchups were needed throughout the day! Crystal had such an amazing and calm energy that was super helpful on such a stressful day. She is so talented - I cannot recommend her more!! We also had Emily as a second makeup artist, and Danielle as a second hair person, and both did a wonderful job on my bridal party's hair and makeup. Everyone was professional, accommodating, and ensured that we stayed on schedule. Michelle and her team at Royal Hair and Makeup in Savannah was wonderful - I highly recommend! -

Mysty and Kimmy were incredible! Mysty did my bridal hair and makeup, as well as my mom’s, while Kimmy did my sister’s (MOH) and mother in law’s. Mysty was so attentive to what I was hoping for with my hair and makeup, and helped me feel stunning on my wedding day. Both artists are truly amazing and I’m so grateful for them for putting us at ease and feeling gorgeous for the wedding! I was also so impressed with how well both our hair and makeup lasted, since it was a warmer March day with both the ceremony and reception being outside, but I felt just as stunning at the end of the night as I did at the beginning of the day! -

The best!!
Royal Hair and Makeup is the best!! Megan did an amazing job getting myself and all my girls ready for the day! They are professional, talented, and went above and beyond for anything else they could throughout the day! We had an artist stay through post-ceremony for touch ups and it was worth it to make sure everyone stayed picture perfect all day, especially with the wind! That being said, the touch ups needed after 2 hours of photos were minor since the ladies did such a great job of prepping and setting the skin and hair! One of my bridesmaids also has naturally curly hair in very tight ringlets and was a bit worried about her texture affecting the styling but they did an amazing job with it! They were timely and so helpful! -

Felt Beautiful on a Beautiful Day!
If you’re looking for a HAMU service in Savannah, GA, Royal Makeup and Hair provided an incredible experience for me and my bridal party from start to finish.
Mysty was my HAMU artist, and she was fantastic!! During my trial, I shared with her a general idea of what I was looking for, but was unsure of how to put it into words. She absolutely nailed the look I was trying to describe, and after some minor adjustments, we had the perfect look I wanted for the day!
As for the day of, Mysty and Sahar, the second HAMU artist, did a superb job on my and my bridal party’s hair and makeup! With looks ranging from natural to 50’s glam, everyone looked and felt beautiful while feeling like themselves. Mysty and Sahar were both friendly and professional, relaxed yet efficient, and accommodating to everyone’s unique needs. They made getting ready for the big day a truly fantastic experience.
Great services, great prices, and great memories all around! I’m so happy and grateful to have worked with them! -

A Destination Bride's Dream
I had the BEST experience with Royal Makeup & Hair. I was a bit apprehensive booking with a company as a destination bride, but my girl Crystal was PHENOMENAL. She was truly a joy to work with. I’m not a beauty gal — I work in healthcare and rarely wear makeup beyond a swipe of mascara — so I didn’t really have the words to describe my vision for hair or makeup, but she was able to work her magic based on my inspo photos alone. I truly felt like an elevated version of myself, which is exactly what I dreamed of. Aside from her skill, she was so kind and easy to communicate with — I genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. -

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Lauren (Norton) and Von provided the most stunning hair and makeup for my wedding. They were both receptive to our preferred looks, made suggestions along the way, and kept the atmosphere calm and laidback for the morning. Their final looks made us all feel beautiful, elegant, and confident. Our hair held beautifully after an outdoor ceremony in May, with minimal makeup wear by the end of the night as well. I recently got married in Tybee Island, GA. Michelle, the owner, was extremely professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Meagan, my makeup and hair artist was amazing! The on location service is so convenient, my bridesmaids and I were able to get ready in our Airbnb and didn't have to travel, which made the day less stressful. I worked with Royal Hair and Makeup for our July outdoor wedding in Savannah, GA. Needless to say we needed a lot of support with heat and humidity! From start to finish, I was so happy working with this vendor. They were flexible with my needs, very clear with their services, and were willing to work with me to make everything happen. I booked the all-day package with Georgeanna and it was genuinely one of the best decisions I made during the entire planning process. Georgeanna stayed with us for most of the day, providing touch-ups to not only myself, but the entire wedding party. She went above and beyond hair/makeup- she was supportive with checking in on how I was feeling, helped hold my bouquet in between photos, and made everyone feel so comfortable and relaxed. I really don't know how we would have managed without her! The rest of the team who did the bridal party + moms H/MU was also incredible. They were on time in the morning and were flexible for each member of the party's individual styles. I would recommend all of them, especially Georgeanna, for your big day. If you are debating on the all-day package, I would highly suggest it! I added it on later, and am so thankful I did. -

I knew before I was engaged that hiring Royal HMU was going to be the only team I looked at for my own wedding day from working together in the past. On my wedding day, that decision was proven as one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! Lauren, Emily, and Jasmine were cool, calm, and collected and completed all of our hair, makeup, and touchups beautifully and so timely! We never once were stressed about time and we all looked PHENOMENAL. I still look back at pictures and can't believe how beautiful I looked! Thank you for pampering us and making myself and my girls feel like movie stars.

I'm so happy we choose Royal for our hair and makeup!! Emily and Nabia were beyond my expectations!! They both are true professionals and are so talented. Emily's makeup was perfection not just for me but for my whole bridal party and mom, MIL. And Nabia did our hair perfectly as well! She even re-did my bun when I wanted it oh so slightly different to make it absolutely perfect for me. Emily and Nabia were so fun to hangout with while we got ready and were so efficient with their time. They even accommodated my flower girl and her mom to get their hair and makeup done last minute. I used Royal Makeup & Hair this past weekend at my wedding, and I could not have been happier with their artists! I had a destination wedding in Savannah and had no time to visit for a trial prior to booking. It made me nervous doing my hair and makeup trial the week of, but Crystal was absolutely incredible! I showed her inspiration photos and she exceeded my expectations! I had a lot of bridesmaids getting their hair and/or makeup done, in a short window of time. They were able to accommodate me with no problem and added another two artists, Amanda A and Julie! Everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup, and we got compliments all night long! Michelle Royal and her team are fantastic! As the bride, I worked with Georgeanna and she is amazing! On the wedding day, I committed the cardinal sin of asking her to switch up my style from what we did at my trial run and she not only did it but nailed it and didn't even give me any side eye! She stuck with me through all the photos making sure not only every hair was in place and make-up on point, but she fluffed my dress and veil...she was on top of it! My girls were tended to by her as well as Rebekah, Meagan, and at the last minute, Kimmy because, of course, I had another last-minute curveball! My mothers-in-law wanted in on the action and Michelle was able to make it happen! I can't say enough about how professional and talented this team is! I didn't worry about myself of any of my girls with this crew and they made us all look and feel amazing! I highly recommend hiring them for any hair/make up needs! Royal Makeup & Hair made me feel like a goddess on my wedding day!
I had a total of 11 girls needing hair and makeup the day of our wedding. Michelle set up the perfect team to get the job done! Sarah was my artist and she was just as sweet as she is talented. I got to know and feel comfortable with her during my trial which made me confident enough to speak up about minor changes while getting my hair done again for the big day.
She also made me feel comfortable while I was getting stressed for time. These ladies know how to work under pressure while delivering gorgeous looks!
My hair and makeup lasted through dancing all night long and still looked amazing for our sparkler sendoff at the end of the night!

Let me start by saying I love makeup and hair. I was super nervous about booking hair and makeup for my wedding day but simply can’t say enough good things about my experience with Michelle and her team. I was able to have a trial with Crystal a few months before the big day and ended up changing directions the day of. Crystal was super understanding and was able to make me feel so beautiful the day of. I was nervous changing direction but she made me feel at ease and I could sense this wasn’t her first rodeo! The ladies at Royal Makeup & Hair are very talented! I had my trial with Johanna, who was an absolute sweetheart. She gave me guidance on how to take care of my makeup during the wedding day (don't rub your face, just tap). Johanna did a great job the day of the wedding; I never felt so beautiful and glowing. She also helped me calm my nerves when I started getting a little anxious.
Crystal also did an amazing job with my mother-in-law's makeup and the flower girls' hair. Everyone looked their very best, thanks to Johanna and Crystal! -

I chose Royal because they seemed to have a lot of experience and their photos showcased what I was looking for in terms of makeup style (natural with a touch of dramatic flair--nothing too trendy but more than my normal day-to-day). Going in to my trial, I was a little nervous, because I wanted a big, dramatic high ponytail for my wedding hair. And Michelle DELIVERED!! I felt like I was being (probably annoyingly) vague about what I liked..."Brownish purple eyeshadow? A cat eye, usually? A big ponytail?" and somehow Michelle knew exactly what I was going for and nailed the entire look. It was exactly how I had envisioned it in my head, down to my giant "party pony!" She also offered a huge variety of makeup, lip colors, false eyelashes, etc. She talked me through everything and made sure I was happy with absolutely everything down to the tiny details. Before the wedding day, Michelle was responsive and very flexible with our timeline, helping me nail down some details and working with the needs of a fairly large group (7 total needing hair and makeup). On the wedding day, Michelle brought Ariana with her--Michelle did all hair, plus my hair and makeup, and Ariana did everyone else's makeup. Ariana checked to make sure she knew what I wanted for everyone in order to have a cohesive but individual look and Michelle yet again knocked my hair and makeup out of the park. Both women were so easy to work with, put us all at ease (day-of jitters!), talked and laughed with us, worked efficiently, and kept us right on schedule--we finished with time to spare, even after a last round of touch-ups! My hair and makeup lasted through the after party and looked fabulous all day and night. Nothing felt uncomfortable or heavy and it looks incredible in pictures. I wholeheartedly recommend Royal Makeup & Hair! -

Perfect Hair and Make Up
I reached out to Michelle at Royal Makeup and Hair a few months before my intimate wedding. I didn't need a make up trial but I really had no idea how it was going to go without one. I didn't need to worry: Michelle was responsive and professional and did an amazing job with my hair and make up! Both held up perfectly throughout a hot and humid ceremony--despite sweat quite literally dripping down my face.
I cannot recommend Royal enough! -

Lauren with Royal Makeup & Hair was such a joy to have on my vendor team! Our first chat was in my sunroom at home for my hair and makeup trial. I gave her a few photos I had picked out online for hair style inspiration, and what do you know? She was actually the stylist for many of them! We talked about how I wanted to feel and look on my wedding day, and she took my words, and created makeup magic and hair that I am STILL swooning over! From the hair and makeup trail at my home, to the time she spent with me on the morning of my wedding, brushing on final touches, or getting my braid perfectly placed, there’s no other gal in the Savannah area that I would recommend more to truly make you look and feel like the most beautiful bride the world has ever seen! Planning a Savannah wedding from California was stressful to say the least, but having amazing vendors like Royal Makeup and Hair certainly made the process easier. Michelle was so communicative throughout the entire process, and was flexible and accommodating when I needed to add extra services at the last minute. Katelyn was so sweet and a dream to work with! I've had makeup horror jobs in the past that left me looking like a clown, but Katelyn listened to exactly what I wanted and nailed the natural glam look I envisioned. Additionally, she tamed my thick, curly hair and shaped my mom's 80's hairpiece into something contemporary and cute to wear on my special day. Crystal was so sweet and made my bridesmaids look gorgeous. I can't recommend this hair and makeup team enough! -

Royal Makeup and Hair did a wonderful job! I was so happy with their work. I did a trial with Lauren before the wedding and she was so pleasant to work with. There were a few things I wanted to change and she was open to that and didn't push me at all to do anything I didn't want to do. On the wedding day, she and her team were punctual, professional, and worked with all of us to give us what we wanted. One of the team made some adjustments to my sister's hair with no complaint after she asked for a slight change. They also did hair and makeup for my teen and preteen stepdaughters and they looked great and age-appropriate. About a week before the wedding, I had to adjust the schedule due to the transportation timeline and Michelle had no problem doing that. And most importantly, I I looked and felt so beautiful on my wedding day and my makeup lasted well through the night. I took my hair down myself for the reception and it worked out fine. I would absolutely use Royal Makeup and Hair again and highly recommend them. They did a great job! -

Michelle was so helpful in helping me set up Hair and Makeup for my wedding! Everything was so easy and fast from booking, to answering all my questions and even sending me the makeup artists we were assigned portfolio. Lauren K was our hair and makeup artist and she is literally theeeee best. I had multiple other trials and hated them all, when I met with her I knew she was the one! I thought the makeup and hair trial was amazing but somehow it was even more perfect on my wedding day. Everyone complimented me on how beautiful I looked and I truly felt like a princess! Lauren K is extremely accommodating to all our crazy requests all without getting off the timed schedule. Thank you so much Royal Makeup and Hair!!! -
