Phenomenal, Magical Service

Derrek, the DJ for Royal Elegance Entertainment, provided one of the best DJ services I've ever had in my life, especially for my wedding! He made my wedding extra magical! His set up is beautiful and makes his services even better! He is very responsive and easy to get ahold of! I have a big family + big wedding = BIG REQUESTS! He made sure my wedding ran smoothly with all of the different events and time frames that happened, including announcements! His application helped me to even plan my wedding around what events occur during the reception (walk in introductions, first dances, garter toss/bouquet toss, etc.) I also wanted music to introduce the best man/maid of honor prior to their speeches and he made it happen! I also wanted a mixed-personalized song for my first dance with my mom and he made it extra special! Phenomenal! With all of the little blips that are bound to occur, he made sure that all events went with times as I needed and was on it with asking me/my mom what we wanted if something unplanned happened. I didn't feel stressed at all, he helped, like I said, to make everything very smooth and perfect! I HIGHLY recommend. I will be using him again in the future for any/all events I need a DJ for.

Unforgettable Wedding DJ

We recently hired Derreck with Royal Elegance Entertainment for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier. From start to finish, Derreck was a consummate professional, attentive to our preferences and providing valuable suggestions. They created an enchanting ambiance with their impeccable sound system, lighting, and effects.

The music selection was flawless, blending various genres and pleasing guests of all ages. Derrick's ability to read the crowd and keep the wedding quests entertained was remarkable. They also served as an excellent emcee, effortlessly guiding the evening's events.

Royal Elegance Entertainment was PERFECT!

Everything about this experience was perfect! I loved getting an app to be able to pick what songs I wanted to hear and when. I also loved that I could put in songs that I did t want to hear EVER! The 360° was awesome and everyone loved it!
100% recommend!

Wedding DJ

Thank you so much for DJing our wedding, Derrek! He was absolutely amazing!! He was so kind and very accommodating of our budget. He was also very responsive and kept us on track as we approached our wedding date! I knew Derrek was a very experienced DJ, so we didn’t make too many requests before hand, but he made sure that all of our special moments had songs that we would want. We let him do his craft, and he was absolutely wonderful throughout the night, while still taking requests from all of our guests! He made our reception a party, and we had the most amazing time! Thank you for making the entertainment completely stress free for us, DJ Royal!!! We love you!!!
The only draw back was an add on service that DJ Royal contracts out through another vender. We paid for a print out photobooth and it ended up only being digital. Not ideal but our guests still really enjoyed the photobooth.

Great experience

I was having a hard time finding a DJ - Derrek was the first one to respond to me and I had planned to interview more DJs but after I met with him over zoom, I knew I had my DJ! He made me feel at ease and as soon as he explained his experience, I knew I didn't need to look any further! He made it easy to put together what type of music you want, what exact songs you want to be played and which songs you don't want to be played. My husband and I were lagging on putting this list together 😅 so Derrek proactively reached out to us to check in since he wanted to be prepared! Day of the wedding, he showed up early to set up and make sure everything was set. He was very flexible, taking all of my on-the-spot requests and even made some suggestions that really got people on the dance floor! Was really happy with our experience.

This company was awesome! The owner Derek was extremely helpful! He ensured audio was working for the ceremony as well as the reception. During the reception, he kept the guests motivated and on their feet. We had so many of our guest praise our DJ and loved the music choices. I highly recommend him for any event. Thank you!

Wedding Life Saver

Best value for your buck. Was extremely flexible, punctual, and responsive with us. Kept the energy high all night even though we didnt have many guests at the wedding. Was very professional and was able to work around all of our changes.

Excellent Service

Derrek was not only a wizard in the booth, he was responsive and attentive to all our needs leading up to the wedding. He used the Vibo app so we could easily select all our songs for important moments and add them to the general dancing playlist at any time, and we covered the timeline of events very thoroughly. The dancing started at around 7 and literally didn't stop till past midnight. We really couldn't have asked for a better DJ to highlight all our special moments and to keep the dance floor popping. Thanks Derrek!

Amazing - stress-free FUN

DJ Royal made our entire ceremony a hit from start to finish. He took all of the stress out of entertainment and made it so that my wife and I could just enjoy ourselves. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, stress-free time!

Amazing night with an amazing DJ

Derrek did an amazing job for my parent 50th wedding anniversary party. From the moment I spoke with him I knew he was the DJ for us. He kept the energy whole night. He was very flexible and made any changes we asked for and made our celebration one to remember. I have no problem recommending him to anyone that needs a DJ.

Awesome DJ!!!!

We booked DJ Royal back on 2012 and my family still talks about how fun our wedding was. Royal really knows how to work a crowd! Mind you this is before he became a famous DJ. Lol. At the end of the day if you want a really good DJ that knows how to get your loved ones dancing then I’d definitely recommend him 10 out of 10 times. A+++

Amazing and Fun!

Derrek started DJing for our family a long time ago. I’ve seen him grow from two speakers Providing the music from our matanzas, to what he has to offer today. He is very attentive to detail. He really made sure everything happened when it was supposed to.

As for a DJ he is phenomenal. I mean you can’t be a DJ downtown without knowing how to make a crowd groove. I wish I could give 10 stars.

More Than Expected!

We booked Derrek back in 2011. he was fairly new to DJing weddings and was upfront with us ab out it. though we were a little hesitant we went with him because he was affordable for what he offered. let me tell you, my family still talks about how fun our wedding was. since then Derrek has done my sister in laws wedding and my coworkers. I highly recommend!

The Perfect DJ

As cliche as the title of this review is it’s true. Derrek is the perfect DJ. He doesn’t employ a ton of DJs where it’s a gamble on what you get. It’s him and his assistant every time. What we liked about this was exactly what he pitch to us. Being our perfect DJ. I mean we were ready to sign up as soon as we had our first sit down with him, but he refused and suggested we met with a few other DJs just to make sure he was the right fit for us. We didn’t realize how important that was until we did so. Don’t get me wrong there where other DJs that we got a long with. Derrek just had a plan. He was the only one that addressed our order of events, to even caring enough to make sure he got the important things done before the photographer had to leave. I would recommend him to anyone. You can’t get a better entertainer for the price. Thank you Derrek.

Best DJ ever!

I typically don’t write reviews, but Derrek really helped make our day special. He has an outgoing personality to help keep guests entertained. We had a hiccup with our catering service but that’ didn’t matter, Derrek was quick to jump in and help keep our guests entertained and engaged. We all had so much fun dancing the night away. He played all the music we wanted and had every song that anyone requested. If you’re looking for a DJ, look no further. He is worth the money and is very affordable. His setup was very elegant too. I 100 percent recommend! Any future functions we will definitely use him again!
