About a month before our wedding, we decided that we wanted to have some sort of live music for our ceremony. We were very lucky to find Roy and even luckier that he was available! From our first call, it was apparent that Roy was a consummate professional. He was very helpful in guiding us toward song choices that fit our tastes and his repertoire is very impressive. Roy’s repertoire includes both classical pieces as well as more contemporary songs, so we had a lot of options to choose from. Roy made the entire process simple for us, which was very much appreciated given our last minute change. Once we had decided on music, the rest of the process was a breeze. The prelude and ceremony music was gorgeous and provided a lovely atmosphere as our guests were getting seated and our wedding party was walking down the aisle. All our guests complimented the beautiful cello that perfected the vibe of our garden ceremony. If given the choice to do it all over again, we would absolutely choose Roy. He was professional, responsive, and an all around joy to work with. On top of everything else, he fit well within our budget. 10/10. Roy is the best!

Best cello music!!
We hired Roy Harran to play at our daughter's wedding at a vineyard in Georgia. He was not only responsive and willing to travel to the venue in N GA but stayed longer to play when things ran behind a bit. He played the most beautiful music before and after the ceremony but also played a mix of contemporary and traditional music during the cocktail hour. He has a huge repertoire of music to select. This was one of the best decisions we made for her wedding. Everyone loved the music. He is one of the best cellists and you won't be sorry if you hire him. He really made the wedding special!! Going into planning our wedding, we knew live music at our wedding was a non negotiable. After finding Roy & hearing his music we were sold. Not only is Roy an incredibly talented musician, he is also a true professional. From beginning to end, planning our ceremony and cocktail music was stress free. We never had to worry!! Multiple guests commented about the level of drama/emotion that having a cello added and we couldn’t agree more. 5 stars just isn’t enough!

Beautiful music for a beautiful event
My daughter was married at the Atlanta Botanical Garden on October 5th. It was a small, intimate ceremony with only about 30 people in attendance. We wanted music that would fit the venue and the setting and having Roy there was the perfect touch. He plays so beautifully and was so wonderful to work with. We would recommend him over and over. We used Roy for our cocktail hour and ceremony. It was a lovely touch of live music paired with a DJ for our reception. Roy is so talented and was also one of our most responsive and professional vendors! The contract is very well thought out and he was very communicative throughout the planning process. We did need to provide patio heaters for our outdoor wedding when it got colder than the cello could tolerate. However, he was very proactive about checking the weather and communicating his needs with me! I would definitely recommend using Roy for your wedding!

Roy Harran was the first vendor that I booked after we had a confirmed date & venue, and he was honestly the best vendor that we worked with. He was so amazingly responsive when I first reached out, and I really appreciated that his packages were price-transparent. You can tell that he's enthusiastic and passionate about what he does, and he made me feel like he cared about our wedding (like we weren't just a number). Mr. Harran is an excellent cellist , his music is beautiful. He was very a very good communicator, easy to work with.
I highly recommend Mr. Harran. He’s a wonderful musician. We had to change wedding dates due to Covid-19, and he was very willing to change his schedule with us. Roy is really great! He was responsive to our requests and communications from day one. Like most couples who planned weddings for spring 2020, our wedding was upended by the Covid-19 pandemic. Between March and May, we went through four different iterations of the wedding and each of them presented unique challenges. Roy was so patient and kind as we went through Plan A, B, and C. Finally, when it became crystal clear that we would still hold a ceremony with our parents and siblings only, with other guests in attendance via Zoom, we decided to maintain our contract with Roy to play for our audience. Although our wedding looked so different than what we originally planned, we are so pleased that Roy was able to help celebrate our day. He is truly fantastic. PS: Since we requested that everyone (vendor or family) present wear a mask, Roy even had his own custom designed one!

The best music
We heard Roy play at a friends wedding.We had just gotten engaged and I told my fiance that he is really good and maybe we should have him play for us. After that I called my friend and she gave me Roy's number. From the beginning he was so easy to work with and responded with no deal. He even was able to find a piece my father in law really wanted for cello.

My wife and I were married on October 19, 2019, and we chose Roy Harran to be our wedding ceremony musician. My wife and I grew up learning to play the violin through high school, and we naturally had an appreciation of string instruments leading up to our wedding. Wonderful addition to our wedding!
Roy was a wonderful addition to our wedding, and a pleasure to work with. Throughout the experience, Roy was very prompt and responsive, ensuring everything from contracts to music selections were done in a timely and efficient manner, which was so helpful. As the bride, I didn't hear as much of the music as the guests, what I did hear was absolutely lovely! He was also great at improvising when one of the elements of our wedding went longer than anticipated and we needed some music to bridge that gap. I would definitely recommend him as cello is my favorite instrument and he played it beautifully!

Cello Beauty
Roy was a dream, and I would pick him all over again! His process is really clear, and he tolerated my millions of questions! The best part was how beautifully he played. It made my ceremony so memorable! Super glad he played for cocktail hour afterward.

Excellent Musician for our Atlanta Wedding
We could not have been happier choosing Roy Harran for our wedding ceremony musician. He was very accessible and accommodating in planning the event. His skills as a cellist, as well as the violinist who accompanied him, were unsurpassed. He was very helpful with selecting music for the event or helping with recommendations if needed. The music was beautiful, the sound was great, (even with an outdoor wedding with a waterfall) and we could not have hoped for a better experience on such a spectacular day! I would not hesitate to recommend him for your event!

Beautiful tone
Roy is a wonderful musician. I was very impressed with his musicality and intonation. My mother is a cellist so naturally the cello holds a very precious place in my heart. And with many musicians in my family and friend group, I knew I needed a professional because little mistakes would be heard loud and clear. Roy played perfectly and was very professional throughout the whole planning process.

Gorgeous Music!
Roy played for our ceremony, cocktail hour and part of our reception! It really brought everything to life and created the experience I wanted for my day. I like pretty traditional pieces, but he played them so beautifully and memorably! Highly recommend!

Roy was fun to work with and professional! He called me right away when I sent an inquiry to describe his services and answer questions I had. Holiday Party Entertainment
I hired Roy for our annual company Christmas party. The entertainment was top notch. He played a variety of traditional Christmas music, contemporary and classical. Hope to book him again next year!

Best Wedding Musician Around
Roy is an incredibly talented musician. I had him for my ceremony and cocktail hour, and it was one of the best decisions I made regarding my wedding. If I could do it all over again, the only thing I would do would have been to have him stay to play dinner music as well. I would recommend him to anyone I know.
