First of all Shelby is the SWEETEST. So professional, flexible, and easy to work with. She really listened to me from the beginning to make sure she picked the best artists based on my vision. Amanda (makeup) and Meghan (hair) surpassed my expectations. I was the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day and my bridesmaids were smokin’. Everything went like clockwork before my ceremony. Amanda & Meghan came completely prepared and on time. Couldn’t ask for more!
Bonus - Shelby came to my house to spray tan me a few days before my wedding and it was flawless.

Shelby is the most sweet, caring and kind person. She listens to your concerns, isn’t afraid to change something if you don’t like it. My biggest thing that I wanted for my wedding day was to look like myself and not over done with heavy makeup. I felt the most beautiful and my makeup felt so light yet it looked gorgeous thanks to Shelby! My hair was also done by her. I bought my own clip in extensions because she let me borrow hers at my bridal trial and I fell in love.

I highly recommend booking Shelby Rowan and her team for your wedding day! Shelby is the kindest and sweetest person. She will go above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied your wedding look. All of my bridesmaids and family who got their hair and makeup done loved their looks. Even though we had a tight timeline, Shelby and her team didn’t make us feel rushed and we all enjoyed my wedding morning. Additionally, Shelby stayed until after our bridesmaids photos to do final touch ups on everyone’s hair and makeup.
Overall, myself and my whole bridal party had such a wonderful experience with Shelby, and I would recommend her to any bride!

Exactly what I wanted
I was beyond pleased with Rowan Beauty’s work on our wedding makeup. I prefer a more natural look. Most days I usually wear just mascara and lip balm, and I definitely get squeamish having others do my make up because at times I have wound up looking like a Vegas act. The most important thing for me was that when I looked in the mirror, I saw me. And that is exactly what Shelby provided. She listened to what I wanted and was able to create a gorgeous, natural look for all of us. My mother is even more squeamish than I am about having others do her makeup. At one point my Mother felt her makeup was looking too matte. Shelby listened to her concerns and was able to give her exactly what she wanted. All of us felt like beautiful, glowing versions of ourselves. I highly recommend Rowan Beauty for makeup!

Exceeded My Expectations
Shelby and her team were a dream to work with. I have natural hair and was more than a little anxious about how my hair could be styled with hair accessories and a veil on my wedding day. Shelby worked with me and my hair and also purchased several items/products to make sure I was completely satisfied with my hair. It turned out beautiful and stayed beautiful until the end!
She also did my makeup while another team member did makeup for my bridesmaids. Each of us looked amazing and makeup also stayed looking amazing all night long!
Due to horrific traffic I was a little late arriving to the venue but Shelby was there on time and waited patiently while I ran around for a few minutes after getting there. Throughout hair, accessories, makeup application, and bronzing she remained calm and laser focused. Even though I was late she finished a little early!!
I truly appreciate Shelby and her team for making a stressful day just a little less stressful. I felt and looked like a queen once done and couldn’t wait to say “I Do!”

Shelby is amazing! A kind spirit and really good at what she does. I found her after working with another artist who just couldn’t understand my vibe — natural glam. Gorgeous curls for my bridal party!
Shelby was such a sweetheart! She and her team did all my bridesmaids’, sisters’ and both moms’ hairs for my wedding day and they were all stunning! The hairstyles we had picked were mostly half up/half down loosely curled styles, with some braids in there. Everyone was happy with the way the end product turned out!
Shelby was very professional and punctual, and she even got there earlier than our contracted time to set up. She also worked with another makeup artist to make a day-of hair and makeup schedule for all the girls, and Shelby had that ready weeks before the wedding, which really helped take some of the stress off this bride! Definitely recommend working with Rowan Beauty :)

High Quality All Around!
Shelby with Rowan Beauty and her team was amazing. I wouldn't wish planning a wedding during a pandemic on any other bride. I hired Shelby for our original wedding date in May 2020. She was luckily still available for our new date in January 2021, and was very flexible in switching the date for us with no fees or hassle. She was also flexible in scheduling a bridal trial with me. I live out of state and have limited flexibility in my work schedule, but Shelby was understanding of this and was able to fit in a trial two days before the wedding! She always responded very quickly. As far as the makeup and hair goes, she was spot on with what I wanted, and I felt like my hair and makeup on the day of was even better than on my trial day, which was hard to believe since it was already great before. My mom also loved Shelby and her kindness and professionalism. She was very easy to talk to, maybe because we're in the same line of work (outside of her beauty gig). She brought two other ladies with her to help on the day of and they were awesome and fun as well. Finally, I felt like her services were very reasonably priced, especially for the quality she delivered. I highly recommend Rowan Beauty for your hair and makeup needs.

Absolutely stunning work!
Shelby was amazing! She was punctual, very friendly and was able to make us beautiful for my daughter's wedding, without us being able to do the trial session prior to the big day. Shelby worked with me getting this all arranged since we live about 5 hours south of Dallas & now had to travel even further north to Denton for the wedding. She was very professional but also laid back enough to deal with our kind of crazy. Our make up was flawless. I have had make-up done in the past and it was all terrible. This was the first time it made me actually look younger and feel pretty. The bride looked beautiful and she felt beautiful. Shelby worked with the design she wanted for her hair and it turned out stunning. I honestly could not be happier and so grateful I found Shelby @ Rowan Beauty and booked her months in advance. I absolutely loved working with Shelby! Planning a wedding was super stressful, but Shelby helped relieve some of that stress with her responsiveness! She was quick to email me back. She is also flexible. I had to change my bridal photo shoot day multiple times, and she was flexible with, able to meet my needs, and patient! On the day of the wedding, she was just a joy to work with. She is very kind and sweet, and she truly enjoys what she does. I felt so beautiful after she finished my hair and make up. She made me feel extra special! I would definitely use her again!

Shelby is a wonderful makeup artist/hair stylist!
She did my wedding hair and makeup and I couldn't be more pleased! She's very professional, responsive, and patient. There were a few times during my trial when my hair wasn't quite right and Shelby made adjustments until it was perfect. On my wedding day, there were two last minute minor adjustments I wanted to make and it was no issue at all.
She takes time to get to know you on a personal level as well. She was an absolute joy to work with!

Shelby was amazing! I was a little nervous because I wear very little makeup and had watched a friend with similar preferences wash her makeup off after the artist had finished and do it herself. But Shelby gave me exactly what I wanted. She made me look amazing with minimal makeup. She did a fantastic job setting the makeup too, I got married in July in Texas and my makeup stayed perfect through the whole night! She did a beautiful job with my hair too, she didn’t use many pins but it stayed all night and was easy to take down after the reception. She was also very responsive and extremely reasonably priced.

Shelby made my hair/makeup perfect for my big day! She includes a consultation in her package which was perfect because I ended up changing my hair and makeup choice some for wedding look.
I literally showed her a picture of the hair style i wanted, and she nailed it! I wanted more natural makeup, and everyone said I looked like myself but just glowing with makeup that showed off my best attributes like my eyes!
We kept adding people to our lineup, and she just went along with it and never lost her chill vibe which is needed on a stressful wedding morning!

Shelby did my makeup for my wedding and I couldn't be more pleased! She is calm under pressure and so professional. She's a stickler for good hygiene and getting things done to perfection. Her personality is warm and friendly which puts everyone in the room at ease. A huge plus on your wedding day! Shelby and the additional artist working with her, Meghan, were both professional, fun, creative, and helped make our day so special. Each of my bridesmaids picked their own unique style and looked gorgeous. My mother was so happy with her hair and make-up - she looked absolutely beautiful as well. I was THRILLED with my hair and make-up. It was exactly what I wanted and I felt so elegant. It rained all day and my hair was perfect at the end of the night. The second I saw my groom down the alter I started to cry. I could not stop crying through most of the ceremony and my make-up was PRISTINE. I hired Shelby to do my hair and makeup as a guest at a wedding, but would have hired her for my own wedding last year if i knew her then! First, Shelby was very responsive and easy to communicate with when scheduling our appointment. She is extremely pleasant, personable, and exceptional at her job. She knew exactly what type of makeup would look great on me and executed it perfectly, i got compliments all night and the pictures are all fantastic. Also, Shelby was able to use photo examples for what I wanted for my hairstyle, and put her own special twist on it to give me a super cool up-do that nobody else at the wedding had!
