  I highly recommend this team of beauty experts. They really knocked out of the park with the quality of their work. Our pictures came out incredibly.

  The ladies at Rouge did an amazing job on our wedding day makeup (9/16/17). We had 7 ladies that needed makeup that day, and they got everyone done on time and we didn't have to start at 7am which was a huge plus! During my trial at the salon I had encountered poison ivy just a few days before (mostly on my face) and was planning to attend my bridal shower the day of the trial. Angeline did some incredible work and nobody at the shower would have known I had any skin issues that day unless I had told them so. It was truly amazing. I would not hesitate to go to them again for makeup services for a special event. Since then I have had waxing services there and it is always a lovely experience. Book Rouge for your next special event or wedding, you certainly won't be disappointed!

  I recently used Rouge for my hair and makeup for my wedding at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem and they were amazing!! Alejandra (Ale) did make up and Sandy did hair. Ale is INCREDIBLE with makeup and it felt very natural, not cakey at all. It was by far the best makeup I've ever had done. My mother, who doesn't wear much makeup, even loved how Ale made her look. Sandy did an awesome job on my hair, I couldn't have asked for anything better. Book them if you are having your wedding in the Salem area, they travel or you can go to the store! And they are extremely pleasant to work with too.

  I had my wedding make up done here and i couldn't imagine it turning out any better! Megan was wicked awesome! They were so nice and listened and changed anything I didn't like! They also were kind enough to allow my photographer to do some shits of the process!

  I booked Rouge for my wedding makeup. I was terrified to have my makeup done professionally, as I am rarely happy with the result. That being said, the staff at Rouge were AMAZING! I had a trial session, and Brandon, my makeup artist, didn’t force anything on me. He would try things out, would listen to my opinion, and make recommendations. I loved the final product. My bridesmaids were happy as well and I don’t think I heard one complaint, only kudos. In fact, a few of the girls lamented that they didn’t have a shop like this back home! The staff are very knowledgeable about makeup, skincare, and all of the products in the store. The shop itself is nice and it has some great products. I plan to shop here more often for products and if I find myself in need of professional makeup, I will not hesitate to come back to Rouge. Thanks for making me look gorgeous!

  I love this place. Everyone turned out so beautiful for our wedding. I had so much fun getting my makeup done that I wish I could drive up there every weekend to do it again!

  The ladies of Rouge were amazing! They were so accommodating, even squeezing two more people in for makeup. Everyone looked fantastic, no one was over done. It was exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely recommend them.

  For the amount of money I paid...

  I paid nearly $2200.00 for hair and makeup for the bridal party and the mother's. While our makeup was great and on point. The hair was very lack luster for the amount paid. The hair was just not done well. Any of us that our hair in an updo the hair was falling out by the time the hero started. And when it came to paying there was multiple prices we were given. If you are a Salem bride I would recommend Rouge for makeup but not hair.

  Bridal trial - treated like I was an inconvenience

  Rouge booked my bridal trial for hair and makeup during a demonstration that was being filmed. They told me when I was en route in my car this demo would be happening, but that it would be in the background and only for the first few minutes but lasted half the appointment. All the staff treated me as if I were in the way. I was shoved in corner surrounded by peoples coats, purses and shoes and no one got a chair for my mother despite me asking. My stylist was trying to watch the demo during my trial. Mom told me since my eyes were closed).
  
  The hair portion ended up being rushed, and during that time, a 2nd stylist came over to me to criticize my hair and hair prep to blame me for the poor results. Truly, the reason there wasn't time to finish was because they started me late for the demo and wanted me to finish early before their next client.
  
  For a balanced review, Rouge did begrudgingly agree to a partial refund because this was their mistake. The primary stylist also didn’t allow me to be filmed which I appreciate.
