  Just incredible!

  Rose and her team were just incredible. They are so friendly and thoughtful. My husband and I felt completely taken care throughout the whole process. We knew hiring her was the right decision for us.

  So Amazing !!!

  She’s amazing , Efficient and professional. She always has the perfect edits in person when my chin is too high. Her professionalism is unmatched in the experience and the work she does. I loved every picture I always had to really contemplate which to share first.

  So easy to be around and we love every photo

  We are so happy with are decision to hire Rose and Maria. They were both so easy to be around. We felt so comfortable being photographed and every photo turned out beautiful we couldn't be happier. I'd recommend Omar and Co to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in the DC area.

  Incredible Photographer & A Joy to be Around!

  Hiring Rose for our October '22 wedding was the best decision we could have made. We loved her style of photography, but when we met her we instantly loved her. She was so wonderful for both our engagement shoot + wedding day, extremely professional, and just so fun to be around. We felt instantly comfortable with her. She delivered our photos quickly, and they are stunning. We are so grateful to Rose for capturing our special day so perfectly. You can't go wrong hiring her for your wedding day.

  We love every single photo!

  Our experience with Rose was great! She was thoughtful and kind. She even learned our whole wedding party's names and even many of our family members. Everyone was so impressed. Every photo in our gallery is amazing. We're so thankful we chose her.

  Couldn't ask for anyone better!

  We seriously couldn't have asked for anyone better to photograph our wedding! Not only were we in love with every single photo in our gallery but Rose as well! She went above and beyond to make sure our day went smoothly and that we were well taken care of. We absolutely loved her presence on our wedding day. We are so glad we chose her to photograph our wedding.

  Rose and Maria were amazing to work with. They we both wonderful to be around and so helpful from start to finish. We received out gallery a month after our wedding and we could not be more in love with all of our photos.

  Went above and beyond!

  ​​Rose went above and beyond on our wedding day, from helping bustle my dress to bringing us food and water during cocktail hour. She made our day seamless. She had such a calm demeanor that put us at ease and you could tell the happiness and excitement she had for us was genuine. My parents still talk about how organized and efficient she was with our family formals and how professional she was. She knew what she was doing and it showed. We love looking back at our photos and can feel the joy of our wedding day in every one.

  Best decision for our wedding day!

  Rose was wonderful on our wedding day. We planned our wedding in less than a month. We flew in from London and had a whole weekend planned and Rose was there for the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and post-wedding brunch. Her photos were beautiful and captured the joy of our day. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

  I have so many good things to say about Rose! She was so sweet and her presence on my wedding day was calming. She was everywhere she needed to be, stepping in to help whenever she could while still documenting our wedding day in the best way. I love looking through our wedding gallery and reliving the day through the images she took. She has such a calm demeanor and took charge when needed to help keep the day running as smoothly as possible.

  Rosie is amazing at what she does!! We booked her almost 1 year in advance of our wedding and she was amazing throughout the process. Engagement shoot was included in the package, so we got to know her and her style in August 2017 during that shoot. She traveled from Northern VA out to Winchester VA for the engagement shoot. The pictures we received shortly after and they were amazing! She also found out she was expecting shortly after we booked her, but even a growing family did not stop her from providing 100% into her service. She was also prompt with responses and worked with us with any questions we had. A few weeks before the big day, she sent over a worksheet with her timeline and asked us to provide any must have shots. On the wedding day 4/21/18 she showed up on time with her intern, Maria. Both of them did AMAZING! They worked great together and covered all shots on our must have shots, calling out names and making sure everyone was where they needed to be. This made the whole process run quick and efficient. They stayed the entire time they were booked for and shot up until the very last minute. After the wedding, I received a sneak peak gallery the very next day. I would HIGHLY recommend Rosie (and her intern Maria)!

  Rosie did an amazing job on our engagement and wedding photos. We completed our engagement photos in May 2015 and they turned out great. We got so many pictures of great quality. The thing I like so much is that they are digital so I can save them on my own computer with no "piracy" issues. She was very flexible with us since we were taking pictures in Maryland/DC, but we lived in Indianapolis so working with our schedules on when we planned to visit was great! Rosie responded to texts and emails promptly.
  
  Our BIG day was that much better because of her personality and the other photographers personalities. She was so warm and welcoming to all of my bridesmaids and family when we were taking "getting ready" photos. My bridesmaids and I are very open and outgoing so we were not shy by any means and Rosie just went with the flow. It was so great!! Of course, she still kept it professional at all times. My husband said the photographer he worked with for his "get ready" photos was great as well! Even with the chaos of it being our big day, Rosie got all of the photos on my list for the formal photos. She got really good candid photos of the WHOLE day! I have only seen some sneak peaks (which is awesome because I was so anxious to see some professional ones and not camera phone photos LOL), but I love them all!!
  
  She is definitely a great person and photographer. She went above and beyond what the contract stated! Love, love, love her! I plan to contact her for some anniversary photos in the future.

  Working with Rosie as our wedding photographer was fantastic! We were looking for someone who would offer everything that would suit our needs on our wedding day. Rosie not only did that but went far above and beyond. Since ours was a military wedding, we loved learning about her and her husband's service with the Marine Corps. After first contacting her via email she offered in a very low pressure way to meet up with us for coffee in Old Town Alexandria to talk. She showed us album samples and online galleries before we even needed to commit to anything.
  
  Having an engagement session included in our wedding photography package was important to us so that our photographer had a chance to get to know us. Rosie did an amazing job with our engagement photos capturing our personalities and us as a couple in many diverse settings. On our wedding day she captured a wonderful variety of candid photos and formal portraits again in a variety of locations. She VERY quickly turned around a beautiful slideshow of photos with a 'teaser' gallery for us to enjoy and share with friends and family members.
  
  Rosie is prompt, organized, professional, and wonderful to work with. She took the time to get to know us and went above and beyond throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married in the area!

  We hired Rosie Omar for our engagement and wedding photographs. In fall 2016, we met up with Rosie for our engagement session, which was fun and Rosie made us feel at ease in front of the camera. The turnaround time for our photos was a few weeks, and we were very happy with the results. Leading up to our wedding, Rosie helped us put together a timeline for the wedding day and helped to coordinate the schedule. She asked whether we had any "must have" shots and generally what we wanted. She and her second shooter showed up on time on the wedding day and were friendly, professional, and things went very smoothly. A day or two after our wedding (June 17, 2017), we had a preview gallery on facebook with approximately 30 images. So far so good. Towards the end of August, 2.5 months after the wedding, I inquired via email if Rosie had an estimate for when our gallery would be ready. She emailed back saying my gallery was ready and I should have received a link from the app she uses (PASS). I responded that I checked my email and spam folders again, but I didn't have a link. After that, I did not hear from Rosie for two months, despite multiple emails, and a few voicemails and texts. Long story short, it took a little over 6 months from our wedding date until we received our full gallery in late December 2017. I understand that things can happen, life can happen, etc, but we didn't feel as though the level of communication regarding the cause of the delay and what was going on was satisfactory. However, I can say that we're very pleased with our photo gallery, and are so, so happy to finally have them!

  Rosie was a very pleasant person to be around and seemed to care about her work. However the final pictures lacked variety and weren't as well done as we thought they would be. They lacked "polish". There were no pictures at all of any of the food and guests, and very few of the decorations. The pictures were very repetitive and we were disappointed overall.

  Ryan, your wedding was a treasure to document! I captured all the details and guests to the best of my ability given the delay of some of the set ups due to weather. Your guests were incredibly friendly and all so cooperative in getting together for the group shot of everyone after the ceremony. What a great shot to have! I truly enjoy documenting wedding days as they unfold and it warms my heart to be a part of such a special day for many couples. I wish you and Tori nothing but the best in your marriage.

  Did not fulfill contract

  I contracted with Rosie Omar Photography for my daughter’s 9/22/17 wedding. The contract included an Engagement Session, wedding day photography coverage, high resolution digital images and Custom Design Heirloom Album. The engagement pictures were taken, she photographed the wedding day and from this point on it has been a struggle to get Rosie Omar Photography to meet the contractual requirements.
  According to “What to Expect” from her website (and also stated in the contract), we would receive the online gallery within 6 weeks of the wedding date and the initial proof for the wedding album 2 week after that. Beginning in December 2017 (more than 2 months after the wedding), my daughter and I began contacting Rosie Omar Photography asking when the online gallery would be available. We did not receive access to the gallery until January 2018 and were promised the wedding album proof 2 weeks later.
  It is now more than a year after the wedding date and we have not received the wedding album proof. I have made over 50 attempts to contact Rosie Omar Photography via email, phone and texts requesting the delivery of the album proof or to be reimbursed for that portion of the contract. As a result of Rosie Omar Photography not complying with these requests, I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the DC Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Affairs and the Virginia Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Affairs. Rosie Omar Photography has not responded to any of these official requests.
  At this point, I feel it is important to anyone who may be considering contracting with Rosie Omar Photography to be aware a contract signed over a year ago has yet to be completely fulfilled nor has the money been returned for that portion of the contract.
  

  I contracted with Rosie Omar Photography for my daughter’s 9/22/17 wedding. The contract included an Engagement Session, wedding day photography coverage, high resolution digital images and Custom Design Heirloom Album. The engagement pictures were taken, she photographed the wedding day and from this point on it has been a struggle to get Rosie Omar Photography to meet the contractual requirements.
  According to “What to Expect” from her website (and also stated in the contract), we would receive the online gallery within 6 weeks of the wedding date and the initial proof for the wedding album 2 week after that.   Would Not Recommend!

  My husband and I hired Rosie (she actually goes by Rose) Omar for our November 2018 wedding. We loved our pictures from our engagement photoshoot and she made us feel so comfortable from the very beginning. On our actual wedding day, things went as smoothly as possible. We received our a sneak peek from our wedding and couldn't wait to receive our full set of pictures.
  
  Unfortunately, this is where things turned for the worst. Our contract stated that we would receive our full gallery within 10-12 weeks from our wedding day (around February 2019). When this time frame came, we reached out to Rose via multiple e-mails, texts, phone calls, voicemails, etc. We received bounce back e-mails saying that the e-mail was no longer in service and received no response from her through text or call either. Over the course of a month, we continued to reach out but still did not receive a response. After multiple attempts to get an answer, we finally took Rose Omar to small claims court in Fairfax County. She didn't show up for court and the judge ruled that Rose had 10 days to provide our full pictures. If she did not provide them within 10 days, we could proceed with next steps of obtaining equivalent payments. At this point, we decided to google her name and came across contact information for her husband. We reached out to him by some off chance something actually happened to her. To our surprise, he responded right away and got us in touch with her right away. It took about 2-3 weeks from our court date and approximately 2 months after our contract deadline to receive all of our pictures.
  
  Overall, I would NOT recommend Rose Omar to any prospective couples due to the lack of response and the heartache that you will likely go through to get your full set of pictures. I highly suggest reading all reviews on The Knot, Wedding Wire, Better Business Bureau, Google, etc. because she has done this to other couples in the past. Pictures are such an important aspect of a wedding day and are extremely valuable to any couple and family that I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what we went through!
