    NYE wedding review!

    We were very very pleased with how our wedding ceremony and reception went at roses run. We were ambivalent about having a New Year's Eve wedding and having only 5 months to plan it.....but Meghan and Sarah were both very accommodating and responsive to anything we needed. This eased our planning process and our nerves leading up to the wedding date. We were also able to taste test our food more than once, and the guests loved it! It truly was a night for everyone to remember! Meghan and Sarah were spectacular in terms of organization, communication and making sure that not only our wedding day went smoothly, but the rehearsal and set up as well. We are very thankful for the venue, and the staff as they helped make our NYE wedding exceed our expectations! Roses Run will always hold a special place in our hearts and we will cherish those memories forever.

    It was an absolute PLEASURE to work with Sarah and Meghan at Roses Run. Since we were planning from across the country, we weren't able to visit Roses Run until the rehearsal, following the original meet & greet. But that wasn't a concern since they are very responsive and can do everything over email/phone that you could do in person. The cost was very reasonable and the bar and food were great! We didn't have to worry at all on our wedding day about how everything would go which was a big stress relief. Definitely recommend!

    Meghan was very patient and worked with us to make sure our day was perfect! She followed our wishes of how we wanted the venue to look and added just a few touches that took our vision to another level. EVERYTHING was perfect!

    We loved this venue! My daughter just got married there and also had her reception there as well. We couldn't have had a better experience. Meghan, the coordinator, was amazing! She handled so many of the details beautifully! She was the perfect professional, acting as the liaison between us and all the vendors, making sure the day went perfectly smooth! Food was perfect; we got so many compliments on it! All of the Roses Run staff were so helpful! I would highly recommend this venue! One suggestion, though- maybe Roses Run could consider investing in white chairs for outdoor weddings. They look much better than the plastic green outdoor patio chairs that they currently use for weddings. We ended up having to rent some to get the look that we wanted. Still would highly, highly recommend this place!

    We had such a spectacular experience planning our wedding with Roses Run! Meghan, our event coordinator, was fabulous and made everything so easy! The compliments we received from our guests were outstanding, and the staff was wonderful!! The food was out of this world, and something we are still talking about 2 weeks later.... We cannot thank everyone there enough for making our wedding day such a great experience!!

    Meghan was very professional and helpful during the whole planning process. I couldn't be more happy with the pricing and quality. I have NO complaints and everything was perfect! The best part was how flexibile and helpful Meghan was with planning and the wedding day.

    Roses Run was the perfect location for our wedding ceremony. The food, atmosphere and organization from the staff was far above what we could have imagined for our reception. Many guests complimented the food and the drinks. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone. It was perfect!

    Everything about our wedding experience was perfect! We couldn't have picked a better venue and our coordinator was amazing at trying to accommodate anything we needed long distance.

    Meghan was wonderful and very accommodating- Bar tenders also very pleasant and the guest love them- I would highly recommend this venue -- No stress working with anyone from here -- even the people that decorating did everything we wanted all went above and beyond -

    Everything turned out better than imagined! The first thing I must say is that my wife and I had a lot of request as far as non-traditional things that we wanted and how we wanted things set up. I would give flexibility a 7 out of 5 if I could. They were very open to all of our ideas and even added certain elements of décor that we asked for last minute. The set up crew does a phenomenal job so you will not have to worry about having to spend too much time on that. The event coordinator, Meghan, was everything we could have asked for and more. She bent over backwards to make sure that our day was perfect. A good example of this- our DJ was not going to play music during the cocktail hour so she found a playlist on her phone and played it over their own sound system. I can not say enough good things about our experience with Roses Run. We would recommend them 100 times over. Food was great as well! Overall, great value without compromising service!

    I absolutely love Roses Run Country Club for hosting my events. I had my wedding here in 2011 and my baby shower here in 2013. The event coordinator is so helpful and extremely friendly and flexible. She will go out of her way to help you and make your event customized to your desires and needs. All of the staff are extremely friendly. The food was delicious for both events. Overall Roses Run offers a beautiful location, wonderful food, and a friendly staff at an affordable price.

    Roses Run handled everything! My rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception were all here. I worked with Meghan and Sarah during my one year of wedding planning. Both were very helpful, responsive and organized. We found their reception package to very reasonable in price compared to other options in the NEO area. What was included: menu tasting for group (buffet), private menu tasting (we did plated), rehearsal, set up for ALL decor, day-of-coordinator (i had no worries on my big day) and they handled all vendors, they also did all of the clean up. It may our day so enjoyable because all of the small things were handled for us. The venue is unique, all of my guests commented on how they loved it. We also got lucky with the weather and were able to utilize the patio, which our guests took full advantage of. Highly recommend.

    My mom found Roses Run after we had been searching for receptions venues that were not already booked for an August 1st wedding for a few days. We chose them at first since we were having trouble finding other available venues, but ended up finding it was perfect for our needs. The value is great. We spent about $7,000 for their services for 125 guests. They were also super flexible and let us use the Derby Room which normally has a minimum guest list of I believe 200. There were some issues when there was a staff change but once Meghan settled in and met with us, things were back on track. Meghan (our wedding coordinator at Roses Run) was responsive and made sure everything was perfect for us. There were a couple of times where my family and I had differing opinions and she made sure to always pull me aside and make sure I was getting what I wanted for the wedding (my husband would have been included too but he didn't really care too much about the details). Also, the morning of, my brother and I came to do some last minute decorating and we were sort of in a rush and Meghan took over and ended up doing all the finishing touches for us, which was extremely helpful and a huge relief. She also worked with all the vendors (both before the wedding and day-of) and made sure they knew what to do. The room was also set up for us a day early so we could spend all day setting up and did not have to do it day-of.

    As for the actual wedding day, everything was perfect. We ended up doing buffet stations (carving station, salad station, and past station) to make sure our guests had plenty of options and so that we didn't have 125 people waiting in line at one table. Roses Run was great with making this idea become a reality. They also gave us the outdoor patio area so our guests could enjoy some cigars while taking a break from the music. Meghan made sure we were doing fine throughout the wedding and even served us some of our food. We would highly recommend this venue!!!

    Roses Run Country Club was the setting for our Wedding Ceremony and Reception. We chose the country club because of the pricing of the reception and the location. We were able to have a larger 200+ guest wedding for under $10,000. The golf course makes a beautiful background for pictures and the ceremony, and the Derby room is a wonderful space for the reception. Sheena worked with us to make our day perfect. Everything we needed she was able to make possible, the staff was amazingly nice, and willing to do any request. The wait staff during dinner couldnt have been nicer, and they tore down all the decorations at the end of the night. One of the best parts was allowing us to come back Sunday and take only what we wanted home, and disposed of the rest for us. It was wonderful not having to clean up the day after. I am so glad we had the wedding at Roses Run, everything went so smooth and perfect.

    We had our December wedding at Roses Run Country Club and we couldn't have pulled it off - in just three months - without the incredible customer service of event coordinator Meghan and chef Janet.

    Meghan and Janet were flexible, patient and accommodating as we brainstormed ideas, made very specific requests and proposed last-minute changes while planning the event from afar.

    The value for the money was fantastic!

    Meghan was responsive, professional, friendly, creative and very easy to work with. Her entire focus was on ensuring that our day was exactly as we wanted it, and, with Meghan in charge, we never worried about whether our ceremony and reception would reflect us or whether our needs would be met. She put together a fantastic team, and our guests universally praised the service, the décor and, across the board, the food.

    When we first met with Janet to discuss the menu, she said: "I won't let you down." She kept that promise - even though we didn't make it easy on her! We wanted a sit-down meal with four options for entrees. We also had guests with specific dietary restrictions and more than two dozen picky-eating kids attending. At every step, Janet adjusted. Both the food and presentation were wonderful.

    Our only negative feedback has nothing to do with the service or staff. Rather, it has to do with the venue itself. RRCC is located in a great place and has really good space for events of all sizes. But we've watched over the years as the venue has suffered from a lack of upkeep, and that's unfortunate. The site would benefit greatly from a bit of TLC, including replacing the worn, outdated carpeting, fixing cracked windows, improving the locker rooms/staging area and updating the pub area generally. . It also would benefit from clear signage from the parking lot to the banquet area so event-goers know how to get to the right place.

    Despite some of those venue drawbacks, we had a great experience entirely because of Meghan and Janet.

    The venue was great. We were pleased with both the food and the set-up. We were able to take advantage of some existing Christmas decor but also felt that we could make the space our own.

    I booked my wedding reception with Roses Run in September for a June wedding. They went through some staff changes and I think that resulted in some communication challenges and slow/no responses, but when their new coordinator stepped in, she was able to pull through for us even if some things were last minute. The venue is beautiful and I love the lighting they add. The staff was very accommodating and overall it is a very good value for the price. Everyone loved the food. I especially liked the chicken cordon bleu. They have a lot of centerpiece items and decor that they have available for party use and will even set up for you which is great. One disappointment was the bar - from the contract, we believed we were to have several beer options. In the end, they only had one type of beer available (Bud Light) which they selected for us without our input. Personally, I'm not a fan of Bud Light. Overall, the venue was beautiful, the staff was helpful and accommodating, the bar was disappointing, the food was very good, and the decor they provided added wonderfully to the ambiance. I would recommend this vendor to friends.

    Awesome venue for a huge wedding. Great food and a beautiful location. Only downfall is if you are having a reception in the Derby room and there's an event upstairs, it can get a little congested!

    We had our ceremony and reception at Roses Run and LOVED it. It was so wonderful to be able to get married outside and then have your guests sitting down to eat dinner 30 minutes later. Jill and Sheena were so wonderful and responsive as well. At least one of them was always available and were so patient with our questions and hesitations. The food was very good and there are a lot of options. There's also plenty of dance floor space for your guests to dance all night long, just like we did!

    I really enjoyed working with the staff at Roses Run Country Club. They were kind and helpful. The food was AMAZING - I could not begin to count the amount of comments I received on how tasty the food was! The one complaint I have about Roses Run is that they set up the rehearsal dinner only 2 hours before the rehearsal dinner started. This caused stress on my part while setting up the evening before...there were smudges on the windows, the linens were not ironed, and the lights looked horrible....they assured me it would be done and it was! But my bridesmaids and I were washing the windows and attempting to fix the mess it was because we were not sure if they would forget something before the rehearsal...
