    Great People, Beautiful Venue, and Delicious Food

    They were incredibly easy to work with and made our wedding and reception wonderful. They allowed us to get in and decorate the day before and the rehearsal dinner was fabulous. The day of the wedding they were gracious with everything they provided while we got ready, and offered a great set of spaces for prep and relaxation between the ceremony and reception. There are some beautiful places on-site for photos. The reception itself was magical and many of our guests complimented us on the food. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

    Great time at A Touch of Class!

    Jen at A Touch of Class was so great to work with! Coming in as a vendor for the first time, she made working in the space easy! The venue was so beautiful and versatile. Her staff was great and efficient tool! The lower level of the venue is amazing and so spacious for the wedding party to hangout in throughout the day. Upstairs for the reception was even better! Couldn't have asked for more!

    Spring Wedding

    The owners and staff at a Touch of Class made our wedding day/planning very smooth and stress free. The space was beautiful and we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of. The food was delicious and we received super positive feedback from guests about the food/bar/desserts!

    Happy with the entire experience

    Not a wedding but a 50th year high school reunion. The food was tasty, the staff was friendly and efficient.
    We plan to use them again T the next 50th.

    Beautiful venue!!

    Jen and all of her staff were super easy to work with!! The venue was stunning and all of my guests complimented how amazing the food was!!

    Delicious & Reasonable

    We had A Touch of Class cater for us at Celebration Farms and they did a spectacular job. Arrived on time, food was great, they had a great selection, Jenn was easy to work with (even though I was coordinating from out of state!!) and they were able to do the food and bar and bar tenders, including coordinating my out of state parents-in-law helping to pay for part of the tab. So easy to work with, and everyone loved the food and drinks. Would certainly recommend. Their value for money is miles above all the other places I considered.

    A Touch of Class was absolutely amazing! Jen was so easy to work with. She was very professional and friendly. She definitely knows what she is doing. All the staff, they were all very professional and friendly. The gazebo is beautiful and very well kept. The reception hall was absolutely beautiful. A Touch of Class definitely helped make our special day perfect!! ❤ I can't say enough goods things about them. Highly recommend everyone to check it out!!

    We held our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception at A Touch of Class. Everything went perfectly! The food is amazing and there is a wide variety to choose from. I was a little nervous booking at A Touch of Class at first, because there is an upstairs and a downstairs event room and I was worried that you would be able to hear the downstairs music during our reception. But the soundproofing is awesome and I forgot that there was even another event going on at the same time. I highly recommend A Touch of Class and Ruth, the wedding coordinator there, is super helpful!

    Ruth at Touch of Class was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was very responsive when I had a ton of question for her throughout the planning, and the whole staff at touch of class was great! Everyone commented on how wonderful the staff was, and how amazing the food was. Would recommend to anyone getting married!!

    WOW!! I cannot say enough great things about our experience at A Touch Of Class. From the ceremony in the amazing gazebo, to the awsome food, every detail was handled by them. The staff was overly accomodating from booking to the end of the night when they helped us pack up our gifts and sent us home with leftovers. (Was just as good the next day!) They set up all the white chairs in front of the gazebo and set up the sound system too, all we had to do is bring our playlist and hit play, and we got a great discount for having the ceremony and the wedding there. It only cost $300.00 to get married in the gazebo and get all the setup and clean up. The grounds were exceptionally clean as well as the gazebo area. We would do it all over again tomorrow. After the ceremony we went insde to our banquet room and had an amazing meal followed by an equally great wedding cake that their pastry chef created from a picture my wife brought in. Definitely have them do your cake, you wont be dissappointed.
    After checking the other venues in town it was really an easy decision. A Touch Of Class provided the most value for the money by far. We spent about $2,700 less than if we would have had it at either of the hotels. And they set up for free shuttles at the end of the night. That worked perfect for our out of town guests staying at the hotel with us and people we did not want to drink and drive. If you are considering A Touch of Class for your wedding, don't hesitate--Celebrate!!!!

    A Touch of Class was the caterer for our wedding in August, 2013. They did an awesome job, and were extremely professional in providing thier service. They even turned down extra money in telling us to do a buffet instead of a plated dinner (because our venue was not a restaurant or hotel the plated dinner would have been cold). Overall the only negative feedback I have would be that on the day of they waited to put the dinner out until the last minute. Although this did keep our food warm, the horseradish sauce was not out when the bridal party went through the buffet line.

    I have nothing but great things to say about A Touch of Class! They made our big day absolutely incredible and worry free. They were fantastic to work with and they were so flexible! I accidentally ordered one tablecloth short from my linen company, and Becky was so kind to step in and help me fix my mistake, despite having no reason to! They were so kind and courteous and made sure that the day ran smoothly. The food was absolutely great, we got nothing but rave reviews from our guests, especially about the party potatoes! I would recommend A Touch of Class to anyone! They were perfect!!!!

    We had A Touch of Class cater our wedding reception at the lodge at Palisades-Kepler State Park. We had them do the "Great Grill Grub," with grilled Iowa smoked pork chops, portabella caps, party potatoes, spring greens salad, and broccoli salad. We also had them prepare cucumber canapes and Caprese skewers for our cocktail hour. We were very pleased with the work they did, and we received many compliments from our guests on the quality of the food. Their prices were fairly reasonable too.

    Ruth was great at organizing everything, and the park was immaculate for the reception. She really worked with us to get everything planned out and was very accommodating for Ramadan. She answered all our questions and the help at the event was very professional.

    Ruth is awesome to work with and I can't wait to share our special day with family and friends. Touch Of Class is a great place to have events and I have enjoyed meals here on several times.

    A Touch of Class did a fantastic job for my wedding reception. It was decorated beautifully and the people there are very helpful. My wedding was the weekend after the floods in Cedar Rapids and they were very accommodating. Thanks.

    Our ceremony and reception were both held at this location and it is a BEAUTIFUL location. We were married in the gazebo behind the reception hall so it was secluded even though it sits on a busy highway. The food was delicious, the hall was beautifully decorated, and they provide ALMOST everything. It was so nice to not worry about linens, the silverware, the cake tables, archways, they provide all of those things...and they were beautifully decorated. She even created the menus especially for us with our names and our wedding colors encorporated. It was the best day and a BIG part of that is due to them. The staff was very nice and professional. However. FYI. The manager is not one to sugar coat. She may come off as a little rude but that's just her way. She was still very helpful the entire day. She's just not nicey nice. Another thing we were a little upset about since we didnt find out until the day of...they dont wash the gazebo down. There I am standing in my WHITE dress on a dirty gazebo. We would've washed it had we know they werent going to-all they do is blow the leaves off.

    So, not too many complaints. And again, I would highly recommend this location to anyone...just be aware she wont be kissing your...

    A Touch of Class worked well for convenience because they had both a ceremony and reception venue, and also provided all the catering and beverage service and the necessary extras. The food was good, there was ample parking and space everywhere, and it was pretty convenient for our guests to get to.
    My complaints were at times it didn't seem like managers were on the same page or didn't know what they were talking about, and I felt I had to be extra-assertive to nail down the essentials. Also we weren't able to sample any food ahead of time and even on our wedding day I had to be on my toes to make sure things were placed in the right spot. Also, the food was a little pricey for what we ordered.
    Overall though, the staff did try to make sure everything was done right, even though they had a couple mis-steps along the way they did try. I think they need to work with someone on making sure things are classy- i.e. cleaning the gazebo so it's clear of leaves, bug remnants, and paraphernalia from weddings the weekend before, using professional wording on menus, and just some other things that were a little tacky that I had to point out to get fixed. Also some of my friends from out of town made fun of the name because in their city, A Touch of Class is a strip joint.

    The gazebo outside is a gorgeous ceremony venue, and the food catered by them is very good, the cook is great. However, if you choose to have your reception/ceremony here, hire a wedding coordinator. The owner, Ruth, is not good at making sure things are done correctly. Our rehearsal was double booked with a Fri wedding, Ruth "forgot" about their wedding, so we ran 2hrs late at rehearsal. She had the dinner room set up wrong with the wrong color linens(the correct linens ended up being wrinkled and unpressed), so I had to reset it all up, which I paid them to do (took me 3hrs). The gazebo wasnt swept, and neither was the bridge and bathrooms, as promised. My DJ and wedding coordinator ended up having to help my guests get drinks, as they weren't staffed enough in the bar. Not a good experience, at all... Ruth was nowhere to be found the time we were there until she brought me the bar bill. To make it worse, we were there 2wks later for my cousins wedding, and Ruth was nowhere to be found as it downpoured on their wedding site, on their chairs, etc... she wasnt even there to help sweep water out of the pavilion... great place, great food, poor management.

    I would strongly suggest that all brides stay as far away from this place and their staff for any future reception or wedding events. Their staff are rude and demeaning. The owner takes your money and doesn't budge on helping you out on your special day. Please be advised, once they take your money, everything else is down hill. This is unfortunate considering their outside gazebo looks good, but from the other reviews they don't keep that up and looking great either.

    The one good thing I will say about TOC is they have a beautiful outside area for a wedding. Other than that I have nothing good to say. While planning our wedding the people I dealt with had me in tears a few different times because they were so rude! We wanted things done a bit differently then what they have done in the past and they couldn't seem to handle that. If you do book a party or reception here, make sure there's not another party booked in the room downstairs ... we had people come up from the other party and ask us to keep it down, at our wedding reception!! To me that's something the people at TOC should have handled, but they never did...my husband had to. One last thing, please make sure you keep track of how many kegs you go thru... they will deceive you on how much you have been thru, so you have to buy another keg.
