We booked Roseann to photograph our wedding at City Hall in NYC. Being from the UK we did not know the area well, or the exact time we would need her on the big day. From the outset Roseann was so very helpful and accommodating. She helped us decide photo locations and even confirmed the exact time we would meet the day before (at our request).
Having never met Roseann I was a little nervous, however the second I met her she made me feel 100% at ease! She was so positive, friendly and warm. She was really an addition to our day (it was just myself, my husband and Roseann!). She took us to lots of beautiful locations, and was very responsive to our style and personalities for the photos.
The photos arrived promptly after the day and are absolutely beautiful - exactly what we wanted! She captured some very special moments for us, they are images we will treasure.
To sum it up - Roseann is a fantastic photographer with a wonderful ability to make you feel 100% at ease. I highly recommend her!

Roseann was super professional, supportive, and responsive during every step of our wedding process. We had a small wedding, which she completely respected and had experience with. She made us feel like we were in great hands, and on the day of the wedding we really were! She actually made the day run even smoother than expected by being professional and also mindful of the time. She was kind, fun, but not overwhelming either by any means. Also, when we saw the final pictures -- they're just stunning so we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. Roseann -- we wish you the very best!!Roseann was super professional, supportive, and responsive during every step of our wedding process. Roseann is an talented and professional wedding photographer. She really has an incredible eye for capturing the right moment, and the quality of her photos can't be matched. I have known Roseann for awhile as a friend and I am honored that I had her as my wedding photographer. As soon as we started planning our wedding, I knew that I had to go to her for our photography. On our big day, she was not only efficient in the way she worked, but she was friendly and warm, gave everyone great direction, and showed that she has a natural intuition for creating and capturing beautiful photos. When were not taking portraits, I knew she was there getting candid shots, but she never got in the way and I almost wasn't aware that she was around (unlike some wedding photographers I've seen who seem to insist on posing everything and getting in the way of the moment!). Before the wedding, she checked in with me about planning, and was always very responsive if I had questions. After our wedding, she got our photos to us fast and they are absolutely stunning. She captured so many beautiful moments from my day. You cannot get a better wedding photographer in NYC for the price, or even 2-3 times the price. I had the pleasure of having Roseann and her partner as a photographer at my 12/1/12 wedding. Everything was amazing! Roseann was professional, flexible, talented, up to shoot anywhere and had a true passion for photography. Roseann and her partner met us happily at each destination and eagerly worked shooting from 1-11 at night. Roseann was there to document everything from the wedding preparations to the end of the night. She covered the long list of photos we wanted as well and was very easy to work with making everyone feel comfortable.
Roseann was enthusiastic, and directed us in our poses for our photographs together. She captured many moments at church, and on the dance floor that were simply breathtaking.
I was thrilled to have received many pictures from our wedding night right after coming home from my honeymoon. All of the pictures we have received so far were stunning. Roseann and her partner have perfectly captured our wedding day and for that I am exceptionally grateful. I look forward to working again with Roseann and would Highly recommend her services to anyone in need of a talented, professional photographer.

Roseann photographed our elopment in new York and made the day so special we couldn't have asked for more! She is extremely professional and easy going and knows how to capture the exact perfect moments for your special occasion when we received the photos of our day it was an emotional experience to see them set so beautifully! If you need someone to take your photos don't look anywhere else pick roseann you will not be disappointed! Roseann was wonderful to work with and she provided beautiful shots of our wedding! She was professional, accommodating and very reasonably priced. Before the wedding, she became like another bridesmaid (who knew a lot more about weddings than the rest of us). She was very calming and helpful. My husband and I are both uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Roseann was patient with us and got some great pictures and some wonderful candid shots too. She sent our photos to us on CDs and even though she's been working weddings every weekend, it was only a few weeks before we had our pictures!Roseann was wonderful to work with and she provided beautiful shots of our wedding! She was professional, accommodating and very reasonably priced. Before the wedding, she became like another bridesmaid (who knew a lot more about weddings than the rest of us). My husband and I planned to marry only a few days before we actually did it. Lady luck was on our side with regards to everything. We found Roseann within hours of searching. She was very straight forward and easy to work with from the get go. She emailed us a copy of her contract and there was no hidden ANYTHING. The day of the wedding, she arrived exactly where and when she said she would. We have two small children and she was able to capture their personalities in every single shot. Our album is fairy tale-like and I still cannot believe how quickly she took all of those photos. She helped make our day so special- and captured the feel and romanticism of the day. Being into photography myself, one could say that I am biased or picky when it comes to photos- these are really and truly fantastic in every way. If there were a way to out more than 5 stars on here, I most absolutely would! Roseann was one of the BEST things that happened to me during my wedding coordination. Due to a whirlwind of circumstances, I nbooked my photog. very late [thats a no-no-ladies...] but she was so pleasant, and eager to incorporate my creative ideas and the quirkiness of getting married in Times Square in the MIDDLE OF [not exaggerating folks] the Occupy Wall Street movement. [literally...she was standing in the middle between the cops and the protestors with me tossing my bouquet]. I found her here on Wedding Bee, so if you\'re a bride new to the board, YOURE IN THE RIGHT PLACE! LOOK NO FURTHER!\r\nShe was affordable, flexible, FUN! non-intrusive/invasive, and sooo sweet! Her artistry is amazing! My husband and I are a fan of editorial style photography and as far as I am concerned, this lady ROCKS it. It\'s art for grown-ups, its elegant and contemporary, and her style makes her images outrightly emotionally visceral...you can feel the entire day, beginning to end; creating a most genuine album for you and your loved ones to share. My word of advice is to pick vendors who can help you express YOU, not a copycat image in a book. And Roseann Wang is definitely one of those vendors. Roseann was fantastic. She was dedicated and had a great eye for arranging portraits and getting details. I was married they day of Hurricane Irene in Connecticut which made it a bit tricky for Roseann to get out of NYC. In spite of it she agreed to rearrange the time we had initially planned and instead came a few hours earlier. Her flexibility really saved the day and we have some beautiful photos from our special day thanks to her. I would not hesitate to recommend Roseann to others looking for someone who is professional, affordable, and committed.Roseann was fantastic. Roseann very nicely agreed to sub-in at the last minute for our planned photographer, who cancelled due to a family emergency 2 days before the wedding. She was incredibly friendly and professional to work with, and was sensitive to our requests. Despite not having the opportunity to meet us before the event or visit the site, her photographs truly captured the beauty of our backyard/country wedding, and we were very pleased with her work.I highly recommend Roseann Wang as a photographer. Choosing Roseann as my wedding photographer was a no brainer. Vendors on a whole can be so impersonal, and all the other photographers I spoke to merely told me the minimum they would do for an exhorbitant price, or made me feel like a number or an idiot. Roseann was like an angel from HEAVEN. From day one her excitement, warmth, support and flexibility was like a harbor in the tempest of wedding craziness. The day of the wedding Roseann caught all the important moments and so many others that I was too busy to see like my flower girl lifting her brother up to write a congratulatory note to us and my friend hanging on my new brother-in-law\'s suspenders in a way that was just so evocative of those college days. The day after the wedding she sent me 20 or so edited photos so I had something to celebrate and show people instead of waiting on bated breath for months like some photogs do. I thought that was just SO considerate and beyond professional. When I saw the pics it was just astounded at the quality and artful eye. My dress and bouquet just popped and we looked so glamourous and in love. I felt so pampered throughout the whole process. I can\'t imagine getting a better photographer for that special day. I wholeheartedly recommend her!!!!Choosing Roseann as my wedding photographer was a no brainer. Vendors on a whole can be so impersonal, and all the other photographers I spoke to merely told me the minimum they would do for an exhorbitant price, or made me feel like a number or an idiot. Roseann was like an angel from HEAVEN. From day one her excitement, warmth, support and flexibility was like a harbor in the tempest of wedding craziness. The day of the wedding Roseann caught all the important moments and so many others that I was too busy to see like my flower girl lifting her brother up to write a congratulatory note to us and my friend hanging on my new brother-in-law\'s suspenders in a way that was just so evocative of those college days. The day after the wedding she sent me 20 or so edited photos so I had something to celebrate and show people instead of waiting on bated breath for months like some photogs do. I thought that was just SO considerate and beyond professional. When I saw the pics it was just astounded at the quality and artful eye. My dress and bouquet just popped and we looked so glamourous and in love. I felt so pampered throughout the whole process. I can\'t imagine getting a better photographer for that special day. I wholeheartedly recommend her!!!! -

Roseann is a naturally talented photographer. When I first saw the images she took of our wedding day, my eyes swelled up in tears. She captured moments throughout the wedding beautifully, some I couldn’t even recall. Thanks to the beautiful images she took, I got the chance to relive my wedding day in the comfort of my home without all the stress that came with the wedding! I couldn’t be happier with her work. Without a doubt, I would recommend Roseann as a photographer. She is sweet, energetic and has a bright personality. We loved Roseann's personality and photos and hired her for our wedding about a year in advance. She was fun and professional during our engagement photos, but then she unexpectedly cancelled our contract over email, five months before our wedding date and without any explanation or (initially) an apology. Although she provided us with a (short) list of alternate photographers, they were either already booked for our date, not the style I was looking for, or not within the budget Roseann had been made aware of.
While we were fully refunded for our deposit and engagement photos—and we did eventually find an awesome photographer—we missed out on the photographers we liked from when we first started looking, and consequently on the usual early booking discounts etc. Be advised.

i want to offer my sincere apologies once again, and i am extremely grateful that the couple has an incredible photographer to document their day. each wedding is sacred and special, and i recognize the communication was not as delicate as i would have liked it to be. when i learned of an one-time extraordinary personal life event, it was immediate reaction to provide notification as fast as i could.

I've used Roseann on many occasions to photograph my first daughter's events a few years ago, and liked her enough to recommend her to my friends, most of whom have subsequently hired her regularly.
I was disappointed to find out her commitment level and professionalism have changed significantly over the years when I recently booked her for my second daughter's first birthday party and she pulled out the NIGHT BEFORE, only giving me a few hours to find a replacement, and sarcastically offering to "help" me by posting a "photog wanted" ad on craigslist.
Luckily, I was fortunate to find a local photographer who came through for me.
But I thought I should share this feedback after reading from this review board that this wasn't the first time she bailed out on assignments [she reneged on a wedding contract as well!]. It seems her answer to these screw ups are due to "miscommunication."
Whether it is for a wedding or a children's birthday party, any event important enough to hire a photographer, it doesn't seem Roseann cares all that much and will drop the assignment according to her whim.
