  Wonderful Experience with an Attentive, Thoughtful and Flexible Officiant

  I simply can't think of enough positive things to say when reflecting back on our experience working with Sheila and Bob for our wedding ceremony. Sheila was with us each step of the way planning and executing a ceremony that was meaningful and something that seemed to be created just for the two of us. She even went as far as to write a special poem and prayer for us to be included in the ceremony and our dinner afterwards. If you are in need of a thoughtful and trusted professional in this space that will do everything possible to ensure you are satisfied with your ceremony, Sheila and Bob will deliver.

  My husband and I were so pleased with our
  officient Shiela. She truly listened and personalized our ceremony as if she knew us for much longer. The attention to detail and the fact that she truly listens to the wishes and wants of us as the couple truly made our day beautiful and forever etched in our hearts.

  Sheila was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. We contacted her on very short notice and she was able to put together a beautiful ceremony and suggested a location for our ceremony that fit our needs. She was very responsive through phone calls and email and answered all of our questions regarding the marriage license process and the ceremony. The ceremony she designed felt like it was for us and she was willing to change it to accommodate our wants.

  Sheila did a wonderful job helping us create a personalized ceremony to fit us and our wedding. She has a wealth of readings and vows and format ideas, as well as wisdom and experience that was a great asset designing our perfect day. At the rehearsal, she kept everything in line and running though our families have a hard time taking anything seriously, and at the ceremony, she smoothly covered for me when I got a bit teary. The ceremony was absolutely wonderful from the welcome through the readings, vows, blessings, and closing. She gave excellent advice on details down to the timing of music, where to stand, where to look, when to turn, and when to have the microphone on. If there were any issues, we were unaware of them. Following the wedding, she stayed in touch to update us on the status of our marriage license. Rose Weddings was professional, knowledgeable, communicative, and flexible creating a ceremony for a mixed secular/religious wedding. We highly recommend!

  If I could give Sheila and Bob 10 starts I would in a heartbeat. Sheila was the first and only officiant to respond to my availability inquiry for officiants and I am sure glad she did. My fiance and I had a good feeling from the very beginning. Such a good feeling that I had completely forgotten that I had contacted others that didn't even bother to reply at all. I knew right away there was an instant connection and that I needed to look no further because she was the one for us. That feeling was spot on. I was immediately impressed with Sheila's thoroughness, attention to detail and the comfortable feeling I had without even meeting in person yet. I began planning my wedding while living overseas and was out of my mind stressed out with the wedding planning as well as our international move back to the states just prior to the wedding. Sheila and was by my side by my side guiding me the entire way. She regularly checked in with me, kept me on track and when my head started spinning, put my mind at ease. The time and care she took on each and every correspondence speaks volumes. She left very little questions to be answered because she had it all covered before I could even think to ask. We were given a great wealth of information to go over, sample ceremonies, readings, blessings etc. which was so helpful. She made the entire process so easy and enjoyable for us. When we met with Sheila one on one at her home she took the time to not only go over every detail in full but to get to know us. We really enjoyed getting to know her. The meeting felt like a gathering of friends rather than going over 'business'. She gave us a beautiful ceremony leaving no dry eye in the house and didn't even think twice about taking charge when we found that there was no coordinator to help direct the bridal party. She goes above and beyond in every way to make her couples feel truly special. Sheila is absolutely amazing at what she does and I wholeheartedly recommend!

Not only does Sheila help prepare your ceremony but she also guides you through all the details of getting married (license application, marriage certificate, etc). Our ceremony was perfect! All our guests said it was the best wedding ceremony they have ever witnessed. Sheila and Bob - thank you so much for being such a special part of our big day! And and extra special thank you for trekking out into the wilderness for our river wedding!!

  Hired Sheila as our officiant during our wedding Oct. 2, 2015 and she did a very good job.. We only met during the wedding and I feel comfortable with her. I highly recommend her as an officiant.

  We had a great experience with Sheila as our officiant for our very small (13 person) wedding ceremony! She was extremely helpful, responsive and diligent in helping us coordinate all of the details in advance. Her experience was truly helpful, and the ceremony was exactly what we wanted. I don't know how we would have managed without her!

Sheila is very organized, professional and addressed all of our hopes and concerns (and even helped us think through things we hadn't thought of ourselves.) We couldn't have asked for a better officiant and we would recommend Sheila to anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding celebration!

  Sheila Roehl was extremely helpful and super flexible through every detail! If you wanted her there for input, feedback, suggestions or to answer any questions you may run into, she was always ready to assist in any way she could to make things go as smoothly as possible. She will also allow you to take the reigns and create whatever ceremony you and your spouse-to-be desire, so long as you keep her in the loop and maintain communication throughout the process. She can provide a very formal and serious ceremony or she can provide a very fun and laid back ceremony. It is your special day and she is committed to making your dream wedding become a reality!
  
  With ours it was a healthy blend of the two. We had a few unusual aspects that we implemented, such as a Native American Smudging ceremony (burning of incense and wafting with a feather unifying and purifying the bride and groom) which took the place of a unity candle or mixing of sand. We wanted a very spiritual ceremony, but also one without any ties to one religion, so everyone would feel welcome and all would be respected and blessed from start to finish.
  
  Sheila was the perfect fit for us, with her incredible experience and thorough work ethic, she made sure that we never missed a beat and double checked everything with us. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant for planning our wedding ceremony, and I know you'll feel the same way too.

  Sheila was very easy to talk to for both me and my husband. She was very supportive with everything. She was also very stern when it was necessary which made our most important day so special! We just want to thank you for everything you did for us, we really appreciate it more then we can tell you and i would suggest anyone who wants their perfect day to be perfect to have Sheila marry you.   Sheila sat with us and assisted us with making our wedding the wedding of our dreams. She also assist with the flowers and talked us through many details which we were unaware of or simply not certain of, very informative. As our wedding approached we had a family tragedy (Oct 16th) and with the wedding just a week away, Sheila guided us through this time and with her assist we were able to get married and also get through the difficult family crisis. She lifted my spirits and was a great friend. I would highly recommend Sheila to all getting married.

She was very strict yet flexible when people were running late! (me) and when people were frantic not knowing what was going on she helped them and told them this is how its going to be! I was so nervous fumbling over words n she looked at me and breathed and repeated the words for me and started over after a car drove by and honked their horn and interrupted so she stared over for people to hear. very professional!! could not ask for more! and she also did our flowers they are unreal exactly what I imagined my dreams came true with her services. we had an outdoor wedding wind was blowing hwy traffic going by flowers stayed put! I would suggest a microphone though for those in the back could not hear. otherwise it was perfect!!!!!

  We have added a battery powered sound system as part of our ceremony services. There is no additional charge for this service. (The above mentioned ceremony venue was near a major highway and the passing traffic did make considerable noise.)
