From the first visit at Rose Hill, their staff were so helpful and lovely in making the experience as exciting and seamless as possible! We knew after a few moments of being on the property that this was the place we wanted to be married at! So classic and vintage to go along with my vibe as well as the groom’s room being the perfect atmosphere for my husband as he loves all things hunting. The house was exactly what I envisioned and the day of made such a beautiful backdrop for our wedding ceremony. Rose Hill will forever hold such a special place in our hearts! Rose Hill will forever hold a special place in our hearts!
My husband and I got married at Rose Hill on October 4th, 2025. We never even toured another venue, we knew from the moment we were there this was the place for us! We chose the swan gazebo as our location and the views, the lighting, the swan, it was all so perfect! The staff at Rose Hill is incredible and so attentive, they made the process so seamless. We love this place and hope to visit this special place again in the near future!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tonya Astin and Rose Hill Estate! Eight months to go in our wedding planning journey - our original venue abruptly cancelled on us. We quickly reached out to recommended venues in the Raleigh area and found Rose Hill Estate. We were SO LUCKY that they had our date available and that Tonya was able to get us in quickly for a tour. We fell in love after the tour and Tonya was an absolute dream to work with throughout the whole process. She was responsive, offered suggestions we had not even thought of and was accommodating no matter what the request was. Tonya and Rose Hill Estate made us feel cared for and celebrated throughout the planning process and it is truly such a stunning venue. Most Beautiful Wedding Venue!
We recently celebrated our daughter’s wedding at Rose Hill Estate, and it was nothing short of magical. The venue itself is absolutely stunning! We had so many compliments from our guests.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the variety of beautiful locations available for the ceremony. Each spot offered its own unique ambiance, making it hard to choose just one! We chose by the pond with the fountain in the background. We can't wait to get the photos back, I'm sure they will be amazing.
Tonya, our coordinator, was truly exceptional. She went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect and that we had everything we needed. Her kindness and professionalism made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.
One of the most memorable moments was when Rose, the estate’s elegant swan, made an appearance during the ceremony—right on cue! It felt like something out of a fairytale and added such a special touch to an already unforgettable day.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such an important milestone. Rose Hill Estate will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Highly recommended!

The Most Magical Place
We visited a total of 11 venues and Rose Hill Estate was the only one to truly take our breath away. Everything we wanted in a venue we were able to find here. My favorite part besides the view was the accessibility of my entire family and bridal party being able to get ready in the same location. My husband and I were still hidden from each other but it made it easier and I was able to see all of my family before the ceremony. There are not enough words to describe Tonya and her team and how amazing they are. Every detail was thought of and handled. She has a lot of great recommendations and you can tell she truly loves her job and the venue.

Perfect Wedding Venue
Using Rose Hill as my wedding venue was one of the best decisions I have made. Not only is the wedding venue absolutely stunning, but the staff is great as well. They were always very responsive and helpful when I had any questions. They recommended some of the best vendors in the industry that allowed my special day to run smoothly. Even with a last minute change to ceremony location, they were on top of everything and made my day stress free. I highly recommend Rose Hill.

A beautiful venue with five star customer service & staff
We met with Tonya well in advance of the wedding date. From that moment until after the event was over, Tonya was available to answer a myriad of questions and offer ideas.
She was aware of our budget and offered excellent options to choose from. She was so easy to work with!

Beautiful May wedding at Rose Hill Estate
What an absolutely beautiful venue for a wedding! We had my daughter’s wedding at Rose Hill Estate three weeks ago. The venue is gorgeous inside and outside! We worked with Tonya who orchestrated the plans, along with our wedding planner, for both the rehearsal dinner, the wedding ceremony and the reception. She was knowledgeable, friendly and helped us in so many ways! Just prior to the ceremony, it rained and Tonya and her staff had to do some extra work in order to get everything ready for our outdoor wedding. She was on the ball. Every detail was attended to and we could not have been happier. The grounds at Rose Hill are immaculately kept and there are three gorgeous sites in which to have a ceremony. Nathan Hall is a very large and lovely banquet hall for a reception. And the original house was the perfect gathering place for our guests to gather and have a glass of champagne while it rained! So many of our guests commented on just how gorgeous our venue was. I cannot say enough about the wonderful service we received! Thank you to all the staff at Rose Hill and especially to Tonya who answered all my endless questions!!

An amazing wedding venue!!!
We just can’t express how thankful we are for having Rose Hill as the venue for our daughter’s wedding. The managers, Jackie and Tonya, are so professional and responsive when you ask questions. The grounds are immaculate, the historic home is gracious, beautifully furnished and was perfect for the bridal party getting ready before the wedding and for cocktail hour between the lakeside ceremony and dinner and dancing that followed in gorgeous Nathan Hall. Being there while it was decorated for Christmas was an added bonus. We were so thrilled with everything there. Our guests continue to comment on how much they enjoyed Rose Hill. It’s a true eastern NC treasure, and we highly recommend it!

Rose Hill Estates is an amazing place! The grounds are immaculate! Gorgeous views everywhere you look! Our guest said it was the most beautiful wedding ever! As the Mother of the Bride, I am thrilled! Jackie and Tonya are outstanding to work with! Tonya was amazing and always eager to answer my questions and calm my MOB nerves. The Bridal and Groom’s suites are spacious and comfy! Guys enjoyed a morning of Sporting Clays while the Bride and Bridesmaids enjoyed laughs and getting glamorous upstairs. Not one minute of worry! Everything was taken care of! The ceremony was absolutely perfect! The Manor House is stunning! Guest enjoyed cocktails as the sunset behind Nathan Hall, which is a spectacular setting for an elegant reception! Sweet tea that had our guest looking for their Grandma!!! ( Thank you, Mr Odom! ) We would not change one thing! Thank you Tonya and the entire Rose Hill staff! Thank you so much for giving our daughter and new son-in-law a wedding day to be cherished for a lifetime!

We love Rose Hill Estate!
The BEST and MOST BEAUTIFUL venue!!! The service was incredible. I am thankful we booked a venue with an equally as great team!
The venue itself is breathtaking. Placed on a historic farm in Nashville, NC, just a short 45-minute drive from Raleigh, NC, you will be overtaken by the natural beauty of the farm and the professional landscaping on the property. The Manor House was beautifully decorated to reflect the property's Southern charm and historic features of our state.
We were married on the front steps of the Manor House, which worked out wonderfully! The front lawn was almost completely shaded by the late afternoon, which was an extra bonus. There are other gorgeous ceremony spots on the property, which made it hard to choose! You will not be disappointed if you choose Rose Hill Estate as your wedding spot!!!
In regards to employees and management, you are in great hands with Rose Hill's general manager, Jackie Turner. Not only is she one of the sweetest humans, but she is attentive and organized, and she worked harmoniously with my other vendors. She and her team will make sure the grounds are maintained and all things are in order on your big day. If you need any assistance (even if it is outside of her realm), she will help you or guide you in the right direction!

We had the wedding of our dreams at Rose Hill!
As soon as we made the drive down the long winding path through the trees to get to the house, we knew Rose Hill was the perfect location for us. We were blown away by the Manor House and how elegant and perfect it was (any time of year), but especially with how beautifully it was decorated at Christmas when we were visiting it for our December 7th wedding. With all the other locations on the property such as Nathan Hall for dinner, the upstairs area for getting ready, the gazebo with the swans swimming by, etc. we knew that Rose Hill would not only be able to accommodate our large wedding, but would be able to give us the romantic and southern look and feel that we wanted for our special day. It also made the perfect backdrop for my bridal portraits. :) Everyone that came to our wedding said it was the best wedding they had ever been to in their life and we know Rose Hill had a huge part in that, so we couldn't be happier!

The most magical night of our lives
We just had our wedding on Saturday December 21st, and to say the night was magical still feels like an understatement. Everything about this place is stunning and professional. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the venue and the food. We absolutely loved everything about this place and the people we worked with. Rose Hill went ABOVE and BEYOND expectations to make sure our day was perfect. Nicole was an incredible asset during the whole planning process. The closer we got to the wedding day, I KNOW I emailed her at least 5 times a week. She had so much patience and was willing to answer any questions I had! I can't speak highly enough about the service (and the FOOD!!!!!) we received at Rose Hill. From the minute we arrived to the house on the wedding day, we had someone there with us serving our mimosas, cleaning up after us and making sure we had everything we needed. Our guests RAVED about the service at Rose Hill for weeks!! If I had to do it over again, I would choose Rose Hill every time. You won't regret it!!!

WOW!!! ROSE HILL IS ALL YOU NEED FOR YOUR WEDDING!! This venue is first class! Absolutely everything you need to make your wedding dream come true. The grounds are fantastic and offer so many gorgeous photo opportunities. The staff at Rose Hill is phenomenal. Nicole, the wedding sales manager, is the best. Planning a wedding is stressful, but Nicole kept spreadsheets and numbers and any other information at the ready. She made time to get to know us and made us feel that our event was the only one that mattered at Rose Hill. She is fantastic at her job! The chef is outstanding! From our rehearsal dinner menu to the sit-down dinner menu for the wedding - all of it was fantastic and delicious! So many guests commented on the food! Amazing Venue & Food!
We are glad we chose to host our wedding at Rose Hill Plantation. Family and guests loved the venue and food. Service was great. The servers were very attentive and made sure we had food even during the photographs. It was also great working with Nicole on the event details and menu choices.

Amazing amazing!
I have no words for how amazing Rose Hill and the staff is. We owe so much thanks to Nicole, Walter and the rest of the staff for making sure our day went off without a hitch. From the very beginning, Nicole was there to answer any questions and walk along with us every step of the way. She has such a fun, bubbly personality that makes finding your wedding venue a dream come true. They truly have everything under control and down to a science. The venue itself has so many different locations for your rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception. There is something for everyone at Rose Hill. The food was AMAZING. Hands down the best food we have ever had at a wedding. We had so many guests tell us how great the food was. Our guests are STILL talking about the food. We are just so glad that we chose Rose Hill as our wedding venue. Rose Hill was the first wedding decision we made and it was the best decision we made. I highly recommend going to visit Rose Hill to see what they have to offer. Make sure you take your checkbook since you probably won't leave there without booking your wedding date!!

They went above and beyond for our wedding! When our rehearsal dinner location lost power the day of our dinner Rose Hill pulled together a great dinner in a day! The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect! Nicole was such a big help from day one. Anything we needed she was there!! I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married. I can’t say how many times I heard how beautiful the location was and how AMAZING the food was!

We are so incredibly grateful for Rose Hill Plantation. Rose Hill is truly a little slice of heaven in North Carolina. If you are looking for Southern Charm paired with Southern Hospitality, you will not regret selecting Rose Hill Plantation for your wedding/event. Our situation is quite unique as to how Rose Hill Plantation became our wedding venue. Our original venue had unfulfilled promises in regards to the completion of their event space and their unwillingness to work with us on specific wedding details that ultimately led us to seek out another venue. We went to tour Rose Hill Plantation on July 3rd and I immediately fell in love. The historic house along with the numerous, well-manicured ceremony locations are breathtakingly gorgeous. Rose Hill truly has everything you could possibly ever want and more for a wedding/event. I was heartbroken when I learned another event had booked our wedding date on the same day that we toured Rose Hill; it was the only time throughout our wedding planning process that I cried. After continued difficulties with our original venue, 2 days before our wedding, Rose Hill Plantation miraculously was able to coordinate with the scheduled event so that both events could take place on July 14th. I am so overwhelmed with gratitude that Rose Hill Management went out for their way for a bride they had never met. Rose Hill Plantation's Management and Staff are truly amazing. Everything about our wedding day was perfect; truly a dream come true. There was so much excitement and happiness surrounding our wedding day which is all that a bride and groom could ever want. We are still getting compliments from guests about the beauty of Rose Hill Plantation and their exquisite in-house catering. There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Rose Hill Plantation's Management and Staff. Thank you Rose Hill Plantation for being the perfect setting for our wedding day. I cannot thank Rose Hill enough for making our dream wedding come true! The venue, staff, food, decor, EVERYTHING was perfect! I wouldn't have changed a thing, even the rain on our day. Nicole and Walter were so helpful and patient through the process. They answered all of our questions, were very accommodating and made sure everything went according to plan. On the day of our wedding, I knew there wasn't anything we needed to worry about and I am truly thankful for that.
Thank you again to everyone! I wish there were reasons for us to come back. We are already talking about having a big party for our 5-year anniversary in the Smoke House just so we can be there again!

Our experience at Rose Hill was beyond amazing! We arrived Friday afternoon and did not want to leave Sunday! From our first visit to clean-up was just perfect! Nicole was outstanding to plan with, always making sure our questions were answered and we had everything we needed. The food was scrumptious! Having been to many weddings at a lot of different venues, I have never had food come close to being as delicious as this! Our guests are still talking about it! The bridesmaids stayed at the house Friday night and were treated like princesses! The groomsmen met there Saturday morning and enjoyed a day of skeet shooting, pool and lunch before getting ready for the ceremony. It is the perfect venue for a southern wedding! So thankful we chose Rose Hill for our special day!

I would not have wanted to have my wedding reception anywhere else!!! Rose Hill Plantation is a dream- from Nicole (the sales manager), to their chef, to their accommodations and shooting range on the property- there is no place like Rose Hill! I booked Rose Hill for my wedding reception on 11/29/16 for our wedding date of 12/9/17. A few months later I provided Nicole with a guest estimation, and meal choice. We chose the plated meal option and I HIGHLY recommend going this route vs buffet. I received so many compliments on the food from my guests that I lost track. We chose the fillet mignon, brick pressed chicken, and the vegetable napoleon. They were so flexible as I wanted sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes with the fillet, as my family grows sweet potatoes and it is the top grown crop in the county. Nicole was very responsive through all my many emails and last minute questions. She provided so many great ideas and am so grateful we had her to work with! After my final guest count was in (1 week prior to the event) I knew we could eliminate a table. Nicole suggested we incorporate an escort table for my guests with the extra space and I love that we did! That is just one example of a suggestion Nicole made that we loved!
Getting ready in the Manor House was also a huge part of our wedding day. The women got ready upstairs (me and my sister spent the night there the night prior) and the men got ready downstairs in the gentleman's room, complete with pool table, poker, and plenty of mounted game. It was the perfect backdrop for all our photos. We also had our first look on the front porch of the Manor House. So magical!
I loved spending my whole wedding day at Rose Hill and recommend you do the same!! See a few pictures from our special day!

Getting married at Rose Hill Plantation was a dream come true - the property, service, and food all were perfect! The tree-lined driveway is iconic, the manor house is classically beautiful, the lawn is immaculately kept, and the service is even better than the property itself! My mom and I planned my wedding down to the tiniest detail and Nicole could not have been better in helping us! She answered every single question we emailed for the entire year prior to the big day (no matter how ridiculous!) and never got aggravated or annoyed with anything all while even planning her own wedding! She organized my bridal portraits at the property, scheduled and attended our food tasting, and executed the wedding of our dreams! The food at Rose Hill can't even be described - it's just too good! The staff at Rose Hill was incredible. The memory that jumps to my mind was when we got to dance with them at the end of the night as a way to say thank you for all of their hard work!

We could not have asked for a more beautiful venue or accommodating staff. A rain shower came through right before the start of our daughter's wedding. Once it stopped they had every available staff member drying off seats and they turned it around in 10 minutes. My daughter was so impressed! Nicole worked to make sure every detail was just as we had planned and we heard from several guests that the food was the best they had ever had. A dream wedding come true!

Awesome! Can't say enough about the beauty of Rose Hill and professionalism of all the staff. So helpful and accomodating of every need. They moved a rained out outdoor ceremony(one hour before) to inside beautiful Nathan Hall in a flash and so seamlessly. No hitches...everything you would expect from a professionally trained staff. Food was delicious too! If you want to enjoy your wedding and let someone else worry about "day of" details and logistics then consider Rose Hill. It was a beautiful weekend. We were so glad there was an inside option in case of rain! Love, love, love this venue and the staff! (mother of bride)

Rose Hill could not have been a more PERFECT location for our wedding. Everything and I mean everything, was amazing. The venue is beautiful in all aspects. The food was literally some of the best I have ever had, my husband and I and our guests were blown away at how good it was. And the staff were incredible. Nicole always responded in a very timely manner and had an answer for every question my crazy, OCD mind could think of. The servers during our reception were also amazing, they were so kind and took care of our every need. I wish I could do it all over again just to experience this venue one more time. For our wedding, we wanted an outdoor ceremony, a place with a good back up plan in case of rain (because it is NC), and great food. From reviews on Wedding Wire and other sites, it was clear Rose Hill came highly rated. Upon visiting in person, it was beautiful and would provide us with great outdoor photo opportunities. We met with Nicole, who is extremely nice and professional.
Rose Hill has three normal ceremony spots (The front of the manor, the gazebo in front of the pond, or the pecan grove), but anywhere in the plantation can be used. We chose an unconventional location, but it rained the day of the wedding (only during the 45 minute ceremony time), so thank goodness Rose Hill has a great back up plan. The ceremony was moved into the reception hall which was prepared so that immediate family was sat up front, while all other guests were at their assigned tables. We were lucky the rain stopped by the end of the ceremony so we could walk the grounds for photos; however, Rose Hill was more than willing to allow us back for wedding photos had the rain continued.
Rose Hill prepares all food onsite (outside caterers are not allowed). We were initially nervous about selecting Rose Hill since we were under the impression we could not taste the food until after booking the venue. Upon tasting, there was no reason to be nervous, and the reviews were absolutely correct in regards to the food. It was fantastic! From the mac & cheese, the raspberry and brie filo-tart hors d'oeuvre, the ginger beer smoked pork loin, and every other item, the food was perfectly prepared. We have tried various local caterers, and they do not compare. For us, we wanted great food at the wedding and we are glad we spent the money to make that happen.
All of our guests were impressed and in awe at Rose Hill. The place is gorgeous, the staff is courteous, and the food is phenomenal. We cannot give Rose Hill enough praise.

When we were first looking for a venue, there were so many venues online to look at, how do you pick one? We went and visited a couple, even put a deposit down on one of them. Then we saw Rose Hill Plantation. We fell in love with it as soon as you drive through the entrance way. It is breathtaking. We cancelled our other venue and decided to go with Rose Hill. Being from up north, I wanted something different and something that would WOW all of my relatives. It did just that! My family and friends could not stop raving about the wedding during and after. It was gorgeous! It was fall weather, a little chilly, but an amazing sunset. This would not have been possible without Nicole at Rose Hill! She helped me every step of the way. She answered a million questions from me and my mom and never once seemed annoyed. She seemed so happy to help and make our day perfect! Book this venue! If you want something to WOW your guests and something they will be speaking about for years to come, then book this venue and work with Nicole! I wish I could go back and do it all again :)

We wanted a venue that gave us something no other venue in Raleigh could... classic elegance, exclusivity, space, accommodation and exquisite food. So, with Rose Hill only being 30ish minutes away... it was a no brainer. Our guests RAVED about the venue, but we already knew they would. The scenery, the cocktail hour, the FOOD... it was everything we wanted and more & we could not be happier with the service we received.

Rose Hill Plantation was the perfect choice for my wedding! My husband and I knew we needed to move quickly after our engagement in order to choose a wedding venue, so please note that they will be booked quickly in about a year in advance if you are looking for a Saturday wedding. Nicole was my contact person and she was amazing. I know I probably sent her tons of emails and she was always there to answer each of my questions in detail. Toward the wedding time she even organized a day of timeline with a breakdown of pricing. This was super helpful! When my husband and I visited the location, Walter was also very helpful to us. Our chosen ceremony location was the gazebo and Walter made sure to suggest that we keep an eye on the level of the sun about a year out from our wedding date...this way we could choose a ceremony time where our guests wouldn't have the sun in their faces. This venue also has a rain option so no need to rent a tent (which those can be super expensive). Everything about the place is gorgeous...the landscaping, house, reception location. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the place was and how amazing the food is. The on-site chef was amazing! His hors d'oeuvres were mouth watering and the food was outstanding. In fact, when my husband and I went for our tasting I almost got teary-eyed from how good the crab cakes were! Don't worry about missing out on having the hors d'oeuvres the day of...during the cocktail hour/picture time, Rose Hill had waiters there to give us hors d'oeuvres and drinks (I don't think I've heard of that happening anywhere else). Rose Hill also works closely with the rental company, Party Reflections and this made everything run super smoothly. When we were trying to choose other vendors for our wedding, Nicole gave us a list of preferred vendors. She also had wonderful suggestions for on-site hair and makeup. We are from the Raleigh, NC area and looked at many venues in the Raleigh, Durham and Wake Forest areas. My daughter wanted a venue for an outside wedding with a backup plan if we had to move inside because of bad weather. Rose Hill Plantation had it all and was the perfect place. From the very first phone call Nicole Marion worked so hard to make her wedding day a true fairy tale wedding!! Nicole was always accommodating and such a sweetheart to work with making this whole wedding process so easy. The facility is truly amazing and is a one stop venue. We were able to host the Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding, and Reception all in one place. Our guests came as faraway as Norway and said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. Although there were many wonderful attendants during the Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding there are a few that I would like to recognize.
1) Nicole Marion is so professional and puts everyone at ease with her sweet personality. I cannot thank her enough for all her help! She is AWESOME!!
2) Steve was there from the moment my Director and I got there to decorate before the Rehearsal Dinner until we left at 11:00 p.m. after the Wedding reception. What a true gentleman and asset he is!!
3) Dawn was just amazing! I just loved her personality and she was such a hard worker throughout the Rehearsal Dinner and the Wedding making sure everyone was taken care of!! I just love her and she will forever hold a special place in my heart!!

Rose Hill Plantation is a dream come true. I'm not just saying that - it was so gorgeous in every detail that many of my guests said it was the most beautiful wedding that they had ever been too. The food is equally amazing! Not only is it convenient to have the chef onsite, but each dish was delicious. The service was on point - the wait staff, kitchen, and management were all very accommodating and attentive. Coordinator Nicole Marion was an excellent liaison and helped us make our decisions and plan the details. Even my groom (now husband) had a uniquely incredible experience because he and his party were able to go skeet shooting on the professional on-site range the morning of the wedding. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough!

I don't even know where to start with writing this review because there are so many good things to say about this venue! I came across Rose Hill Plantation on this website when searching for venues after getting engaged. Rose Hill was one of the first venues that we checked out and we immediately fell in love with this place! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and well maintained and the plantation house and reception hall are beautiful as well. When we visited this venue, they were already booked for Saturdays a year in advance but we loved it so much we decided to get married on a Friday and we wouldn't have changed a thing about it. Nicole was such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process! She was always quick to respond to my (many) emails and questions and was so helpful! From the beginning stages of planning to the day of, she was so sweet and friendly and willing to do anything she could do to help. We got married at the gazebo and were battling chances of rain but Nicole knew that our hearts were set on having our ceremony outside so she ensured us that they would do whatever they could to accommodate our guests by wiping down chairs at the last minute or moving our ceremony indoors if needed. Luckily, the rain held off until right when our ceremony ended. All of our guests were so impressed with the service, food, and the beauty of this venue! Many of our friends have gotten married recently or are getting married soon and we have heard so many complaints about the service of other places, surprise costs after signing a contract, and not being able to easily get in contact with staff. We quickly realized that we were so fortunate that we did not face any issues during our wedding planning process.. Rose Hill is the best of the best and definitely worth every penny! :)

From the very first meeting with this staff, we were impressed with their professionalism, eagerness to please us and willingness to accomodate our every wish. During the planning, they were responsive and courteous and very patient. Our guests have raved about the beauty of the venue, the wonderful food and the exceptional staff. The whole weekend was picture perfect and it was all because of the staff. It was a fairy tale come true and I just can't say enough great things about them. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!!

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!!! Everything about my experience with Rose Hill was spectacular. We had our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception here. We pretty much rented out the place all weekend we loved it so much. Nicole was so sweet and helpful! I sent her so many emails and she got back to me right away and answered all of my questions. She made me feel so comfortable and like I wasn't bugging her. And the food!!! Oh my, the food was out of this world and I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding. We had everyone come up to us and tell us. We had stations and it was so good. Loved the chef -- he is so talented. We had a BBQ at the smokehouse for the rehearsal and that was just as good. Everything about the property was beautiful! There isn't a bad thing to say about it. My matron of honor and I even stayed in the Manor House the night before the wedding. Everyone that works there was so helpful. My husband, father, and groomsmen went clay shooting the day of the rehearsal and really enjoyed it. I can't speak highly enough about Rose Hill. You will be so happy you had your wedding here. I wish I could have wedding there every year!!

Our wedding at Rose Hill was incredible. We worked for months with the amazing staff to make the day perfect. The staff made themselves extremely available to us whenever we had questions about anything. When it rained on the big day, they moved the whole thing inside without a single problem. They are accommodating and the space is so beautiful!

A few paragraphs of wonderful things to say will never amount to how wonderful Rose Hill Plantation was to us! I first attended a wedding with my sister at Rose Hill 4-5 years ago, as babysitters for 4 children of the family (all of which who were in the wedding). I knew, right then, when we pulled up to the Manor House at Rose Hill, that I would plan my wedding one day at this amazing venue.
My husband, Seth, and I had our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and wedding reception at Rose Hill Plantation and all were EQUALLY amazing!!! From the food, the service from staff, and the hospitality, Rose Hill set the standards high. Nicole Marion, the wedding coordinator for Rose Hill, is absolutely phenomenal and I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with! She was always so approachable and flexible in scheduling in-person appointments, as well as phone calls to discuss any questions or concerns we had. And trust me, we had Nicole's email and phone number memorized, and she was always there when we needed her! Our wedding was magical and everything and more than we could have ever asked for. Nicole and her staff at Rose Hill put this bride and groom (and our entire bridal party and family) at ease with NO stress whatsoever. We could go on and on! Thank you so much to everyone at Rose Hill. You have outdone yourselves and provided us with the best day of our lives with so many lasting memories!

My husband and I planned our dream, North Carolina wedding from Texas and it all was rooted with the beautiful Rose Hill Plantation.
I had fallen in love with Rose Hill before we moved and knew I wouldn't find a venue to match the beauty or the value so we were eager to book it right away! Nicole was our coordinator and was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process and was so sweet about my many, many questions for her.
We had our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all at Rose Hill, and the morning of the wedding, my husband shot at the Rose Hill sporting clays range. Each aspect was perfect!
Many of our guests told us they had honestly never been to a more beautiful wedding, and neither had we. The venue is absolutely breath-taking no matter where you are! We loved our front porch ceremony, the indoor reception in Nathan Hall, and having the luxury of staying in this beautiful manor overnight. Waking up and having coffee on the back porch is a moment my husband and I will never forget.
I could go on and on about how wonderful Rose Hill was for us, but I'll stop here. There truly isn't a single thing I would change! My advice to brides looking for the perfect venue is to stop looking and BOOK ROSE HILL NOW!!

I have nothing but the most wonderful things to say about this venue. I think this was probably the best choice that I made in planning this wedding. I was sold on the first tour I took of this beautiful and unbelievably well-maintained property, and went ahead and cancelled the remaining tours I had set. It might be seen as a little pricey compared to some other venues in the area, but you are getting very real luxury at Rose Hill. Working with Nicole to answer all of my questions leading up to the big day was one of my favorite parts of the entire planning process. She was so lovely, professional, knowledgeable, and really helped me to relax and know that everything was in capable hands.
The food was incredible! I was a little bummed out at first that we'd be taking pictures during the cocktail hour, because the hors d'oeuvres I had selected sounded so delicious, but as it turned out, there were a few waiters who followed us around serving us bubbly and the tastiest scallops, crap cakes, etc while we taking our photos around the magnificent property. It was amazing. People were going on for weeks about how beautiful the property is and how fantastic the food was. And the staff! The staff were so kind and warm. They really know how to make you feel so special. My husband and I had all of our food and drinks served to us - our glasses were always full and our every need was taken care of. We also got a TON of food taken up to our room that evening for after the reception to chow down on, which was much appreciated! I would 100% recommend Rose Hill to anyone getting married, and I can only hope I get to attend a wedding there in the future!

The venue is gorgeous with multiple options for the ceremony and reception, including a rainy day plan. The food and service were fantastic !!! We dropped a few unexpected requests on them both a couple weeks before the wedding and at the reception and they were met promptly and without any hassle. Additionally, they recommended a vendor to provide shuttle transportation and he worked out great.
No wedding at a beautiful venue like this one is "cheap" however I can say every dime was well spent and we could not have asked for a better, hassle free day. Nicole, thank you !!

Rose Hill Plantation is hands down the best wedding venue in the Triangle area - granted I may be a little biased since I had my wedding here! From the moment we drove through the wonderful overhanging trees that lined the driveway that lead to the beautiful plantation home, we knew we had found our wedding venue, and we hadn't even been inside yet! Once we received the tour of the property, we were even more blown away. The grounds were so well kept/manicured, the plantation home was spectacular, and the banquet hall was the perfect size for our event! They were able to offer us multiple location settings to choose from for the ceremony (inside and out), and were extremely accommodating when it came to weather conditions for an outside ceremony. The staff were always so helpful with any questions we had during the planning process and met with us on multiple occasions to go through all of the wedding details. Then it came down to the actual wedding day, where Rose Hill Plantation put together the most amazing wedding for us! The girls were able to get ready in the plantation home, while the guys were able to go shooting in the morning and then hang out at the pool before making their way to the Gentleman's Room to get ready. It was such a relaxing, stress free morning/afternoon as everything was taken care of for us. Our ceremony started on time and flowed perfectly into cocktail hour and the reception. The food was AMAZING (we received so many compliments from guests after the wedding), and the staff were even more amazing! If we needed something, the staff at Rose Hill made it happen, without question. They even made sure we (Bride and Groom) got to eat dinner before mingling, and still brought us and our wedding party left-overs for after the event! I cannot say thank you enough to Rose Hill for making our wedding day the best day of our lives! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone - they will make your wedding day perfect!

This was our 2nd wedding and we can say without a doubt that Rose Hill is the best! Nicole was outstanding to work with and accommodated all of our requests. She was always available. The service, staff, facilities, and the food are top notch! We received feedback from most of our guests and everyone commented that it was the best wedding experience for them. So many of them commented that the dinner was excellent, especially the filet! We had early access to the facilities so that we could make sure everything was set-up to our high standards. My husband and I had searched for what seemed liked forever for the perfect wedding venue. We came across Rose Hill Plantation and immediately knew this was the place we were going to get married at. The plantation was so secluded and the grounds were absolutely stunning! Throughout the entire planning process we worked with Nicole who was absolutely wondering. She was so patient with us and responded quickly to our numerous emails. During the reception, the wait staff were so professional, attentive and curiosity. The beauty and surroundings of Rose Hill Plantation is surpassed only by the staff and their accommodating ways. From the very first time we visited last August to begin planning until we left at midnight this past Saturday evening, it was my daughter's fairy tale wedding!
Walter, Nicole, Carrie, Steven and so many staff members that I cannot begin to name, made our wedding weekend absolutely perfect.
We had major weather issues and the solutions we were offered, and how they were executed by the staff was amazing.
The rehearsal dinner was at the Smoke House and it was a delicious BBQ with all of the trimmings. The cocktail hour was held in the Manor House and everyone raved about the food!
It was presented in a beautiful way and tasted wonderful!
The ceremony at the gazebo with the swans swimming around in the pond was breath taking!
The presentation and service of the plated dinner for the reception in Nathan Hall was exquisite!
I am still receiving calls about how great the food was.
Our every whim was catered to. The Bridal Party had food and beverages provided through out the day until time for the ceremony.
Again, thank you Walter, Nicole, Carrie, Steven and everyone else for making memories for us that we will cherish forever!

When my hubby and I decided we wanted to do something a little different for our wedding we began searching for old plantations, farms and bed and breakfasts in VA and NC. There is nowhere else (near our hometown at least) where you get outdoor beauty, a ceremony on the water and a huge indoor banquet hall for the reception. Our wedding was on Aug 30 (labor day weekend) so we knew it could be VERY hot or POURING down rain. This gave us the best of everything with a great weather contingency plan. The food is wonderful and the servers are all very very friendly. When we booked, there was no other events the few days leading up to our wedding so we had planned to do all of our decorating and such on the day before. Less than two weeks before, they booked another wedding the night before, which made me (scheduling freak!) go a little crazy and panic. They were willing to work with us in an unbelievable way. We couldnt rehearse on site because the other wedding would be beginning shortly after, but they allowed our entire wedding party to stop by and look and then we went to one of the other houses on the property where they had set up one row of chairs to allow us to practice. Since the Friday night wedding was not over until late, they had one brave staff member volunteer to stay late and allow us to come decorate the entire inside banquet room between 11:30 and midnight. They even let us do the outdoor decorating the morning of the wedding VERY EARLY. This made it so that I could still put everything where I wanted and how I wanted it, without interfering with the rest of the strict schedule we had for getting ready and leading up to the ceremony. Some of my family originally did not understand why we had to travel over 2 hours for our wedding; but as soon as they got there they understood! My only com;aint was that the heat brought out gnats, which for whatever reason were very annoying the entire wedding.

My husband and I got married at Rose Hill on May 25, 2014, and could not have imagined having our wedding at a more beautiful venue. The Rose Hill grounds, manor house, and reception hall are all immaculately well-kept, and the employees are some of the most accommodating, organized, and friendly people we have ever worked with! Walter, the Property Manager, not only helped us work within our budget, he helped us create a wedding that was completely unique to us. He personally picked up the special NC craft beers we requested for our open bar, worked with us in the design and set-up of the reception hall, and was so patient through our endless questions and requests in the last couple of weeks before the big day. Nicole, another employee at Rose Hill, was also a huge help in finalizing all of the details and in helping us coordinate our rehearsal and wedding day. In fact, the entire staff at Rose Hill is incredible! My husband and I were worried that we would not have time to eat during the reception, but that was not an issue at all, since 2 waiters/waitresses immediately brought plates and plates of food to our sweetheart table the moment we sat down! And don't even get me started on the food! It was all absolutely delicious! We went with the 3 dinner stations + 5 passed hors d'oeuvre option and had MANY guests tell us how fantastic the food was! There were options for every guest, including vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free, etc.
Honestly, there is not one complaint we have about this venue. Despite its somewhat inconvenient location in Nashville, NC (as we live in Raleigh), we would recommend this venue to any couples looking to get married locally or looking for a destination wedding location. The cost was perfect for our budget and much more affordable than many of the other "Southern" venues

Walter and the whole staff at Rose Hill are amazing. I was lucky enough to celebrate my wedding there this weekend and it was the most wonderful weekend. From the rehearsal dinner at the Smokehouse, to the cocktail hour in the Main House and the reception in Nathan Hall - everything was spectacular. Walter went above and beyond to make all the details, big and small, exactly what we wanted.
The wait staff not only made sure to bring my husband and I a plate of everything from each food station, but they also made sure do the same thing for our grandparents and our friend with a baby. It rained, but it didn't even matter - there were staff members there with umbrellas to escort guests from the cocktail hour to the reception. They were all the best!

Rose Hill is a beautiful place. I always wanted to be married at an old plantation house under the trees and that's exactly what I got. We were able to have our ceremony and reception in the same place which was wonderful. I had my ceremony in the pecan grove and it was beautiful. The staff was very professional and polite and there when you needed them. Walter had everyone on point! The food was awesome! Every single person I talked to brought up how great the food was. I had like half a plate at dinner because my dress was a little tight lol and then the staff left us two whole plates in our room in case we got hungry that night... and we did... and we ate all of it! It was delicious. The flow of things went very nicely and a lot of decisions we made were Walter's ideas.. and they came out great. All the wedding guests commented on how beautiful Rose Hill was and how they had no idea it existed! Not a single thing went wrong that night and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

The grounds were well kept and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The food was DELICIOUS!!! Everyone is still talking about the food even 2 weeks after the wedding. The venue at Rose Hill is stunning, and they do an excellent job at keeping the property maintained. Walter and his staff were there every step of the way with making sure we had everything we needed leading up to the big day, as well as during the ceremony and reception. I would not consider going anywhere else to get married, but at Rose Hill! The food is excellent, location is perfect, and the staff are super helpful! We were so pleased with the outcome of our wedding because still to this day we have people to tell us that it was the best wedding they have ever been to.

Short Version: RoseHill Plantation is the perfect place for your fairytale wedding
Longer version: The location is BEAUTIFUL. All the food is prepared there, they have all the rentals you need (tables, silverware, gorgeous place settings, etc) everything is so simple. Walter and Carrie were my personal dream come true and from the moment I started working with them all the stress and anxiety of dealing with vendors became nonexistent. Walter was exactly what I needed in a facility manager, business oriented, professional, flexible, honest, and responsive. If Walter wasn’t available, then I could just as easily get in touch with Carrie. They are a great team and work seamlessly together. They were extremely patient and very thorough and never acted annoyed. I could go on for days on how much I appreciate how professional and easy it was to work with them.
Breakdown of why I love Rose Hill:
Food-This was super important to me. #1 because I way paying for it, #2 because I’ve been to so many sit down weddings where the food is awful and I did not want that at my wedding. The food at Rose Hill was GREAT! We had two separate guests ask us if we booked the venue because of the food!! It’s a weird question but you get the point-it was really good food.
Setting-This is easy. Everything is immaculate. The worst part is having your photographer figure out where they want to take your picture.
Pricing/Packaging- The pricing and menu options were SO easy. I wish Walter & team could consult to other facilities on how to set up their food pricing. There are no hidden fees and no outrageous add-ons every time you turn around.
Professionalism/Service: From planning the event to dinner service during the reception everything was top notch.
To sum it up, I had several guests tell me it was the nicest wedding they have ever been to. That’s more than I ever expected for my Special day and I know everything turned out how it did because of Rose Hill.

Walter was great! The venue setting was so serene and classic. Everyone just raved about the grounds, the home, and the reception hall. The entire staff was courteous and helpful. They seemed to really take pride in making sure that everyone had what they needed and were satisfied. The food was fantastic and there was plenty for everyone. I would definitely recommend this venue for any wedding.

What a beautiful wedding venue. My daughter Rachel was married there on the 21st of April. The grounds were immaculate, the staff extremely accommodating and food was expertly prepared and displayed beautifully. Walter was very gracious and patient with us during the planning phase of the wedding and the end result was all and more than he had promised.
Walter and his staff interfaced well with our wedding planners and all of the other vendors and the entire day went off without a hitch.
Who wouldn't want to be married by a lake, complete with swans, on a bucolic southern homeplace and then recieve your guests in a elegant reception hall.

Rose Hill was the perfect place for my wedding. The setting was beautiful and I really liked having the rehearsal, ceremony and reception all in one place. Walter was excellent to work with and provided professional services throughout the planning process. The grounds and facility were in immaculate condition and my guests enjoyed the elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. The rehearsal food and the reception food was delicious. I cannot say enough about Rose Hill...the setting, food and staff. I highly recommend this venue!

I have absolutely nothing negative I could write about my experience at Rose Hill. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, and my wedding was exactly what I wanted because of their great service. They made me feel like such a princess, because they were so attentive to get everything I needed for me during my wedding. The food was exceptional, the display was gorgeous, the service was impeccable. I absolutely think Rose Hill is a great value for the money!

We chose Rose Hill Plantation because we wanted to make planning our wedding easy but nice and that is exactly what we got. We were able to have our ceremony and reception in one place making it easy for everyone that attended. They took care of the catering and made sure to coordinate with our vendors so we didn't have to worry on our wedding day. Walter, the manager, and Carrie, his assistant (maybe assistant manager?) were great! They were both reliably responsive and helped us in any way we needed. On the day of our wedding there was someone there at all time to be sure that everything went smoothly! The grounds are gorgeous, especially in April and May. Our ceremony was held in the Pecan Grove. We had many compliments and a few people even said it was one of the prettiest weddings they had been to. Very satisfied!

Family Celebration
Our celebration was great. Was great working with Tonya. She was kind, understanding and courteous. We had an hour after the celebration to clean up and the guards ordered the music to stop exactly at 8 pm on the dot and practically shoved us out the door. We were completely out by 8:20 pm. I believe we could continue to listen to the music while we cleaned up and be out by 9: pm. Guards could be more kind to our guests.

Everything We Ever Dreamed
We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Rose Hill—it was the perfect venue for our wedding and an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. The property is breathtaking, but what really sets it apart is the incredible team behind it.
Tonya, in particular, was phenomenal. She was warm, organized, and incredibly accommodating—not just with us, but with all of our vendors as well. She handled every detail with grace and professionalism, taking so much of the stress off our plate so we could focus on enjoying the day. Her communication was clear and timely, and she made us feel completely supported every step of the way.
Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be, and we have Tonya and the Rose Hill team to thank for that. If you're looking for a stunning venue with a team that genuinely cares and will go above and beyond for you, we can’t recommend Rose Hill enough.

The Rose Hill staff was great and the venue is beautiful! They were very accommodating on our very hot outside wedding day; staff provided bottles of water for our guests before the ceremony and waiters stood with us with platters of r'devours while we took pictures around the property. The only downfall is that we felt a little rushed at the end of the night; their policy is that you have everything out of the bridal suits/groom's room before you leave which was a little hard to do during the reception. I would suggest they allow things to be left overnight for convenience sake! Overall, though, it was a great experience.

This was a beautiful place to get married. They were my venue for the ceremony, reception and provided catering. It was priced very moderately (though I hear prices have gone up), and was worth every penny. They were a bit disorganized, but it was well wroth it for the location.

Rose hill estate
This is a beautiful venue but we were extremely disappointed with the bar service ( watered down drinks) and food. However it was beautiful and great for pictures
