Amazing caterer for rehearsal dinner
We chose Rosa’s Catering for our rehearsal dinner on a Sunday evening in April in Gatlinburg. The food was absolutely fantastic (we ordered BBQ) and it was such a pleasant surprise seeing the owners of the company there delivering the food and helping to set up. Attentive, intentional, and LGBTQ+ friendly caterer
Rosa's Catering was great to work with. They were so supportive of us choosing a menu we, as the couple, really wanted and encouraged us to not be too swayed by what our guests may/may not have wanted. We changed our minds about a million times about what menu we wanted for our wedding day and they were so understanding and flexible! They also worked incredibly well with food allergies/restrictions for our guests. Their whole team was so attentive and supportive of us as the couple the entire night. They even supplied cutlery and plates for our cake, even though we purchased it through another vendor. They were organized and the food was great. We are an LGBTQ+ couple and felt really supported by this team at every turn.

Rosa’s is so delicious, my guests wouldn’t stop talking about it. Unfortunately I don’t have any photos of the food. We got hot artichoke dip that people talked about all night. Bacon wrapped scallops that were so delicious. Chicken and salmon and veggies for dinner. It was incredible. When you’re from out of town, you really don’t know what you’re going to get from a catering vendor, but trust me, you won’t go wrong with Rosa’s. Their options are extensive and nothing short of delicious. Your guests will love you for getting the best caterer in the Knoxville area.

We used Rosas for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding, and the food was delicious. Ginger was highly responsive and very patient with all of the changes we made to the menu leading up the event. I have Celiac Disease, and was very concerned about making sure everything was truly gluten free. I was so happy with how knowledgeable their team was and felt confident going into the wedding weekend there would be no issues! The food at both events was delicious ( and 100% gluten free :)) I am grateful to their team for a truly great, and customized experience!

Rosa's was all around wonderful! I was able to attend their free open house prior to my wedding to try the food. It really helped me choose the menu for my wedding without having to arrange a tasting. Additionally, Ginger was able to help me with changes, additions, and questions throughout the planning process. She was so amazing to work with! On wedding day, the servers were attentive, with swift and excellent service. I barely knew they were there. We choose the spinach strawberry salad, mushroom ravioli, chicken fresco, red mashed pots, and mixed grilled veggies. My guests raved about how tasty everything was! You won't go wrong with hiring Rosa's for your big day!

Rosa’s is the epitome of professionalism. Ginger and her crew are a dream to work with - for our wedding, they brought us in and let us try literally everything, and we honestly had a really difficult time narrowing down what we wanted that night! They were great about updating our estimates as our headcounts fluctuated, they helped us set aside special plates for our guests with dietary restrictions, and they were always happy to talk through anything during the planning process and immediately follow up with emails as well. We were really excited for our guests to try the citrus chicken and the mushroom ravioli we picked, and as we made our way around each table EVERYONE was telling us how good the food was. We were also ecstatic that we got some big to-go boxes, because of course, we didn’t eat a lot day-of, so we were able to enjoy the meal all over again with our friends the following night.
Choosing - and then communicating with - vendors for a wedding can be intimidating and difficult. But working with Rosa’s, we knew we’d be taken care of, that they’d be reliable, and that the results would be fantastic. As an events coordinator, I’ve worked with Rosa’s before and always chose them for those exact reasons, and after our wedding I’d continue to choose them again and again for any catering I’d ever need. Highly recommend.

Exactly what we wanted
We chose there station option. We did the sliders and street tacos and they did not disappoint. We also had dips and salads for our cocktail hour. Our guest loved that they were customizable and they could have mix between the slides and tacos and have multiple. The flavors were amazing and weeks later we still have guests talk about how good they were and how fun it was.

Plated wedding dinner
We hired Rosa's for our wedding dinner on 06/05/2021. We had a plated dinner, and Rosa's did a great job! They were very flexible working with the space we had available for the dinner prep, and every course came out on time. Our guests loved the food! We had plated and passed apps, as well as dinner. The apps were yummy and the servers did a great job getting the food around to everyone. The mini chicken and waffles were a huge hit! They did a good job clearing plates, and making sure my guests had everything they needed. I would highly recommend Rosa's to anyone!

Great Service and Food
My husband and I chose Rosa’s Catering for our Pigeon Forge wedding in May 2020. Due to the pandemic, we were forced to move our wedding to May 2021. Rosa’s was awesome during this time and were flexible as we tried to find a new date that worked with all of our vendors. I dealt with Ginger and Lexie throughout this process and both were a pleasure to work with!
On our wedding day, Rosa’s was awesome! They arrived on time, set up a beautiful buffet, and prepared appetizer and dinner plates for my husband and me (at our wedding planner’s request) so we could eat during our reception! The servers were very professional and handled the entire appetizer and dinner hours perfectly.
And how was the food? Everything was delicious! I had multiple guests comment on the quality of the food and how good everything tasted after the wedding. Rosa’s even boxed up leftovers so we didn’t have to throw away any extra food! I would recommend Rosa’s for any catered event, their service and food won’t disappoint!

I found Rosa's online when I was looking for a caterer for my wedding. They have been absolutely amazing! Communication is strong and their responses are always timely. I must have asked a thousand questions and they patiently answered every single one.
The staff that worked the wedding were so kind and professional. By the end of the night, it felt like they were part of the family! I appreciate everything they did to really make the night special and run smoothly.
And don't let me forget the food! It was so, so, so delicious! I was so happy with everything we ordered and the quality of the products. Definitely reasonably priced and beautifully displayed.

Amazing, fresh food!
We decided on Rosas catering after months of negotiations with caterers. We wanted a fresh and formal “farm to table” style buffet, in a price we could afford. Rosa’s was our knight in shining armor. They came through with the fresh menu we wanted in a price we could afford. The day of presentation was more beautiful then I expected and the day of catering manager - Shannon was wonderful. She plated our food for us so we didn’t have to go through the buffet line, and checked to see if we wanted seconds of anything.
They even cut our cake for us without a cake cutting fee (you won’t find that with any other caterer). Did I mention the food was delicious?! You HAVE to try to florentine stuffed potatoes. We were very happy with rosas catering!

I don't think I've ever had such good food at a wedding before!! We had appetizers during cocktail hour that included crap cakes, glazed chicken skewers and italian meatballs. We wanted to do brunch for our wedding and Rosa's was one of the few caterers that we found that offered an extensive brunch menu, so we chose them. It was a fantastic decision, as the food we were served was some of the best I've had! Everyone loved the food and the portions and selection were great! The servers were extremely professional and friendly as well during the reception. Our wedding was around 75 people so the value and quality we received from Rosa's couldn't be beat.

I wouldn't use any other caterer in Knoxville. Ever since I first reached out, Ginger has always been enthusiastic, prompt, and professional. I inquired about a brunch wedding and she sent me a few different menus to choose from within 24 hours. Our consultation was top notch, and they really have everything under control. You really don't have to worry about a thing. They blew us away how accommodating they were, and their servers and bartenders were friendly. The FOOD was AMAZING, and our guests could not stop talking about the waffles, bacon, and omelets. Ginger even helped us out when cutting the cake. We felt so taken care of and almost spoiled! Just the best from top to bottom!

If I could make their value rating a 10/5, I would. They thought we couldn't afford a caterer until meeting Rosa's catering. We met them at the Pink Bride show, where they didn't pressure me at all (which is the only reason I made a meeting with them at all - everyone else was pushy and ridiculous). I told them I wanted pizza, and they told me they had never done it at the scale I wanted, but they would figure it out. When we met with them, they had the most amazing gourmet margherita pizza ready for us to try. They also did our cake, which was the most amazing tasting cake I have ever had in my life. I still get compliments on it 4 months later! The cake was also a very good value. We went to Publix first, and their cake designs sucked, yet they wanted to charge us nearly $600. We got the cake from Rosa's for not too much more than that with every Pinterest idea I could fit into one cake. Truly amazing, would use them again if I could.

Rosa's was amazing! We had a brunch reception and it was absolutely perfect from the taste to the presentation of the food. Rosa's also did our cake which was amazing. We somehow lost the top of our cake and Rosa's is recreating it for us next year for our anniversary. That is excellent customer service! I highly recommend this caterer! We love them!

Our October 3rd wedding reception was beyond perfect thanks in large part to the superb work of Rosa’s Catering and specifically their awesome event manager, Ginger, and cake designer, Stephanie! First of all, Ginger was an absolute godsend! She was not only very patient and thorough in the planning stages but also readily available to help us make several menu adjustments as our guest count grew. The day before our wedding when is was very apparent that it was going to rain on our indoor/outdoor reception venue, Ginger gently reassured me that everything was going to be fine and proceeded to work on plans to keep our dance floor in the party tent dry and rearrange and add tables to better accommodate our guests in the indoor spaces. She was completely calm and professional. And boy did she deliver! We credit Ginger with saving our reception from soggy slippery doom! In fact, it turned out to be an awesome party despite the rain! And, the service crew that worked with Ginger at our reception were all exceptional, too! Everything flowed so smoothly! And every bite was absolutely delicious! But, our wedding cake was the highlight! Stephanie took my scattered ideas and created the most perfect cake for us! It was absolutely beautiful! And the guests actually cheered when we cut it and revealed the rainbow layers inside! The whole cake process -- designing it, revealing it, and eating it -- was an awesome experience! Stephanie is an absolute cake designer superstar! Our wedding reception was so much more than a celebration of our marriage. It was a thank you party for our church for their years of support and activism to make our marriage a legal reality. So, it was important to us that they enjoy the party as our honored guests. They all had a great time and are still talking about how it was the best wedding they have ever been to! We truly believe Rosa’s Catering was a huge part of making it the most perfect party of our lives!

Rosa's provided the catering for our daughters wedding and we were very satisfied with the quality of the food and working with Ginger. They couldn't have been more accomodating to our daughters requests for the food preparation, she wanted as much gluten free as possible, she wanted artichokes added to the chicken dish and she asked for the filling in another dish to be served by itself. The chef was more than willing to make these adjustments. The staff the day of the wedding was very professional and polite. We liked the fact that we could provide our own beverages and that Rosa's would provide the bartender and set ups. They also provided all the linens, dishes and drinkware for our event. Everything ran smoothly.

Rosa's Catering provided the cake and desserts for my wedding. The cake was beautiful and exactly how I wanted it and was delicious. The cake and desserts were very reasonably priced. The delivery charge was a little pricey but there was no way I would have been able to take care of it myself.

By far, Stephanie from Rosa's Catering was the best part of my wedding. She made the most delicious Wedding Cake and it was equally beautiful. We had a 4-tier white cake with lemon filling, buttercream frosting with small bead decoration. We spent nine months tasting wedding cakes at numerous bridal shows and open houses. From our first tasting, Rosa's was consistently the best--tender cake, delicately flavored fillings and frostings. No one else even came close. From the first meeting until the day of the wedding they were a pleasure to deal with. Cake was as delicious as expected, beautifully decorated exactly as ordered. They even threw in an extra sheet cake because I was worried we would run out (which we almost did--cake was so good people came back for seconds). Can't recommend them more highly.

Rosa's is the way to go! I tested 5 different cake places before deciding on Rosa's. They are by far the best value for your money! Cakes are so incredibly expensive and for some reason Rosa's is able to provide you with top notch cakes for way less than the competition. The cake that I had made for my wedding was a three tier vanilla and almond cake. It was so moist and delicious. I got tons of compliments on it the day of my wedding. They take the design that you have in your head or from a picture and recreate it flawlessly. She can do beautiful things with cakes. I would most definitely recommend Rosa's catering over any other cake company in Knoxville.

They have both sit down dinner and buffet options and they can do your wedding cakes as well. Their cakes are beautiful. We loved the way ours turned out. You can pick almost any design and they can do it for you - and they have lots of tasty options with different kinds of cake and fillings. Their staff is incredibly helpful, professional, and organized. They truly try to make things as easy for you as possible. They even pack a goody basket with food and cake for you at the end of the wedding to take with you in case you don't get a chance to eat much at the wedding. They really take care of you. I wouldn't have used anyone else to cater my wedding!

I used Rosa's for my cake. Regina was wonderful in envisioning what I wanted, even though I changed it multiple times!!! The only negative thing was that my cake was slightly leaning over and we had to cut it really early in the reception, but no one noticed it. That was my fault though for choosing a 5 layer buttercream cake in the summer! But the cake was delicious and we didn't have any leftovers!

Rosa's provided full catering services for our Smoky Mountain residential/tent wedding reception on October 23rd and everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again, given the opportunity. They were professional and very flexible and easy to work with - creating a custom menu for our reception, traveling to the residence a couple of different times to determine set-up, etc., working in a residential kitchen rather than professional banquet type kitchen. I could go on and on with positive examples. I always had prompt and friendly responses to all of my communication and the pricing was very reasonable, in my opinion. The staff on the day of our wedding was also professional and courteous. And last, but certainly not least, the most important part - the food and cake were amazing! We had positive comments all night long and after the wedding too about how delicious the food and wedding cake were. Thank you Rosa's! :)

My only disappointment was that they called just a few days before the wedding to tell us they couldn't make our cake because their bakery was closing, so that was a bit stressful. Dodie created 2 cakes that were exactly what I wanted and Zara did a great job communicating with me about the catering details. I'm very glad I chose Rosa's.

Rosa's Catering was suggested to us by our magnificent wedding planner, Angie Froemel, and we were not disappointed! Their selection of options was unmatched and their prices were very fair. They were always immediately responsive and professional regarding all of the questions and special requests we had (Like specific fruits in the water and available with dessert as well as options for a gluten-free guest.) which I really appreciated as it was a destination wedding and everything was being coordinated out-of-state. My only two issues were that the "hot" foods were a bit cold when served but I completely understand that there is only so much you can do when preparing it from so far away, bringing it all the way up a mountain, and then serving it after the ceremony. So no big deal. The biggest thing, and this may be silly, I know, is that we ordered 5 different pies (as we were getting married on "Pi Day") but only received 4 or maybe even 3 and one was a double. Unfortunately it was the missing pie(s) that I was most looking forward to trying! lol But, considering all the things that could have gone wrong, and how excellent everything was besides that, I am very grateful and would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks me. And all of our guests made it a point to compliment everything as well! Thank you all for being so polite and helpful and serving up such deliciousness!

Rosa's was an easy company to work with for our wedding. We gave them an idea of what kind of meal we wanted (we wanted all hors d'ouevres), and they provided us with different options to make our "meal". We ended up choosing spring rolls, chicken skewers, beef satay, crudite, and a mashed potato bar. We even asked if they could set up an ice cream bar for us. Everything was delicious and perfect. We told them where to be, when to be there, and when we were going to leave. They even got my husband and I plates to eat before the food was gone! Everyone said the food was awesome. They were in and out without an issue. I would suggest them for any wedding.

My husband and I really wanted to stay at a reasonable budget on food for the wedding. We knew it was going to be our biggest expense and wanted to make sure we were getting great quality too. I met with 2 other caterers before finding Rosa's. I was confused at first with how their menu worked for a buffet, but after the initial meeting, everything was clarified and I felt comfortable with the prices. We went for a tasting soon after, and everything was delicious. we pretty much had our menu set! After the tasting we decided to change our minds on one of the meats and they were able to work with us and meet us at a bridal show with a special second tasting of a different dish we discussed. It ended up being phenomenal! We had so many people comment on the food and how fantastic it was. How great the food is was definitely one of the things you like to hear, especially considering everyone told us people will most likely only remember the music and the food. Rosa's was very easy to work with and all of the displays were beautiful. They did a fantastic job!

Rosa's Catering provided both my catering service an my cake. I like the fact that they had a wide variety of options for the catering that went beyond the standard chicken and fish that you normally see at wedding receptions - all at relatively similar prices with just a few exceptions. I went with a Mediterranean Salmon and a roasted pork loin. Each came with a variety of sauces that were all extremely flavorful. The cake was one of the best wedding cakes that I have every tasted. It was a spiced cake with a cream cheese filling. The caterer went out of his way to see that we got a plate during the reception and even packed us a basket to take with us when we left. The only two problems that I had were minor. The first was that I sent an e-mail with questions that I never got a response to, but they were very easy to communicate with via telephone. The second was that we had a little bit of trouble getting them to pack the left over food up for us at the end. My maid of honor had to go to their office the next day to get it because they did not have the stuff to pack it up with even though they said during our meeting that that was a service I provided. In the end we did get the left over food and everything worked. I would recommend them to others.

We worked with Zara Mitchell and she was great. The food was excellent. We had a buffet style set-up for the food and a beer/wine/soda/water set up for drinks. With Rosa's and the location we used for our reception, we were able to just hire bartenders through Rosa's and bring in our own alcohol (we bought large bottles of wine and a keg of beer). It was perfect. We didn't have a ton of food leftover and we left with one bottle of wine and a case of soda. Rosa's did great on suggesting food amounts and it was excellent.
They also did our wedding cake which was beautiful (I will post a picture if I can). The colors swirled throughout matched the sash on my wedding dress and it was elegant and beautiful. The did a wonderful job with everything. They even made us a take home basket for our wedding night!

We booked Rosa’s after another caterer fell through a few months before the wedding. They were easy to communicate with quickly and they were able to provide the services we were looking for. Our only issue was that there wasn’t really enough food for our 85 guests. We had a buffet-style meal, and several items ran out pretty early. The food looked a bit scarce so guests were hesitant to get enough. Otherwise, the food was really yummy and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Rosas catering had brilliant food. Everything tasted great and they made sure me and the groom had a plate of food for us. We had a tasting prior to choosing them and that made us feel confident with our food choices. We went with stations and had different choices of meats and pastas a long with and ice cream sundae bar.

My cake was gorgeous and hands down the best tasting cake I've ever had. I was at a birthday party in NYC last week and had multiple people who were at the wedding randomly comment on how good my cake was. We had the white cake with strawberry filling and vanilla buttercream with fondant.

Taco bar heaven
My husband and I tried several different options at Rosa's and they were very helpful in the decision making with pricing and options for our budget. they printed off several invoices so we could see it in writing and had a book of different set ups of food items so we could see pictures of their food. We went with the taco bar and our guests raved about the food! unfortunately, as the bride, I was only able to eat half a taco but it was wonderful!
the bar service was questionable, they sent a young male who barely looked old enough to drink alcohol, and might not have been! at the end of the night, he was handing out bottles of wine to our guests.

Their food was absolutely amazing. However the prices reflect how much they value their food. I was very pleased. The presentations were amazing. Everyone loved everything they served. One problem I did have was the servers began clearing the food while we still had guests that were wanting to eat even though there was plenty of food left. We ended up with lots of left overs. Otherwise they were great.

Rosa's Catering made our wedding cake for our wedding. They did a fantastic job on my cake and also on my husband's. However, the top layer of my cake, which we saved to eat on our first anniversary, was Styrofoam and they neglected to tell us! After writing them an email to express how disappointed we were, they have promised to make us another top layer to eat on our second anniversary.
I would not hesitate, however, to recommend them to anyone. I thought they did a wonderful job -- just make sure you find out about the Styrofoam thing first. :)

Rosa's did an excellent job on our wedding cake and our groom's cake. Just what I was looking for! However, it didn't come cheap. If you're looking for value, you might want to look elsewhere. They stay busy for their quality too, so if you're set on them, I'd recommend booking 6 months out.

I have to say that overall, I was very happy with my CAKE. The cake was tasty, it was beautiful - there was no complaint to be had - I loved my cake. Excellent job with the actual product. The lower scores are about the service. I didn't have the greatest interaction with the person who let me do the tasting - it was very quick and I felt like it was using up her time to bother with me. It was a big purchase for me $500 for a small cake for a small wedding of 25. I wanted a simple cake that was delicious and pretty and it ended up being perfect. Something that I thought was very ugly that they did after the ceremony - they had left plastic pieces inside the cake that I never knew were there or anyone knew to keep. I knew I had to return a sheet of clear plastic like material that the cake sat on to Rosa's when I payed the second half of the bill after the wedding. I brought that (they said it would be $45 if I forgot it) and was surprised that they said I was missing the plastic parts. I don't know what those were - never saw them. I guess they were something that supported the three layers and kept it all in one big piece for transporting it. They charged me for those - I think $15. I paid it. The money was not the issue - it was how I was talked to and how this charge came out of nowhere. It was tacky and unprofessional. I felt that I was being squeezed out for all they could get after the wedding was over. I had such a good feeling about the wedding and the cake and they really disappointed me over the $15. If I had been told to keep anything in addition to the plate thing the cake sat on I would have done that without missing a beat. I suggest that you ask about this if you do business with Rosa's. It's sad that they did such a great job with the cake, but have someone collecting the money who is so classless. I see Rosa on TV now and I wonder if she knows that her staff treats customers like thieves and charges them for things that have never been discussed. I won't need a cake like this again, but I still think the cake saved them. This man may have been family so I don't think he's going anywhere, but I hope he's gotten more work experience and improved his attitude since my wedding in 2008. Rosa's never asked for my feedback. I would have been fair and praised the cake but suggested that they need to keep the customer relationship first and be honest and clear about all charges.

I (the bride) never actually met with them until the wedding day, my family took care of that for me. But they were friendly the day I met them. I think the cake was overpriced .

The food provided by Rosa's Catering was delicious. However, the cake did not turn out the way I wanted it. It was the wrong color. Also, I order 200 servings of food for 125 guests and the food seemed to serve only 100. For taste and presentation I give them an A, but for service I give them a C.

Utterly horrendous to say the least
Extremely unsatisfied, not only do we feel like we were completely ripped off, but the service we have recieved has been seriously lacking. We paid over $750 for food for 50 people, we had 28 guests, and yet we had to heat up leftovers from our rehearsal dinner to feed everyone. We are very easy people to please. There is absolutely no way we recieved 50 people worth of food. no way. We purposely ordered more then we needed to have leftovers the next day, but yet we had to reheat the previous nights food to feed our guests. When I finally talked to someone at Rosa's, we recieved extremely rude service and we were told we did recieve enough food. Ginger literally doesnt want to hear you. It took everything in me to stay nice and courteous when I wanted to explode. we had a taco bar and had to throw half of the flour tortillas away because they were about to mold, the chips we recieved were opened and the bag was half empty. The food was pathetic at best. We were told by Ginger that she was going to reach out to the owner and they would respond, have yet to hear anything & I have tried to follow up and nobody is responding. We hired them because of their great reviews, but are extremely disappointed to say the least. Literally had a perfect wedding day except for this. Would never recommend this company.

Changed lead bakers right before our wedding. Had 2 consults with them before the wedding, we gave them the option for a third right after the change and they said they would be fine. Cake was nothing like what we asked for. Tasted good, but looked like it was from someone else's order. A total embarrassment. Avoid.

I attended a wedding that used Rosa's Catering to make the cake. The quality of the appearance and the taste of the cake was subpar at best. The final product looked nothing like the photos advertised. I would never recommend this bakery.
