I am having a hard time finding the right words that truly embody just how amazing Nate and Jensey are! I actually started off my wedding planning journey with a different photography team and I was not 100 percent happy with that decision. A friend of mine who is a wedding photographer suggested I look into Root and my videographer also suggested them ! So - I reached out to Nate and Jensey with the intention of just having them for my dessert party. However, after talking to Nate (for 45 minutes as we are both talkers 😂) I was so impressed that when he said they were available for my wedding day too I immediately made the switch. I am SO happy I did! Nate was a huge help in the planning process and assisted so much with the timeline. We genuinely felt like we were working with old friends and even my husband - who hates having his photo taken - was so comfortable! We laughed so much the whole time and really felt like family by the end of our wedding events. When we got our photos back we were blown away at how beautiful they are!!! The quality and editing are just incredible and the photos feel timeless. I can not recommend Root Photography enough! -

Nate and Jensey captured our wedding day to perfection. From the beginning, they were so kind, considerate, and thoughtful. They made sure we felt comfortable and had all of our questions answered. Let's just say they passed the "vibe check." My wife and I do not feel very comfortable posing for photos, so we chose Root Photography to make sure we got lots of candids and natural shots. They absolutely delivered! They captured moments I forget even happened. They made us feel so comfortable and care-free while taking photos, and the results exceeded our expectations. Although, they typically photograph Disney weddings, they adapted to our non-Disney venue super quickly. They also helped recommend a videographer for us, which was super helpful. They are also LGBTQ+ friendly! I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat! -

We had our 30th anniversary vow renewal at Disney world with our 4 kids as our attendants and would have scrapped the whole thing if I could not have gotten the Roots. The Roots are hands down the most fantastic photographers out there. Nate will contort himself to any bodily position necessary to get you those precious shots and he'll capture every personality there while doing it. Their artistry is beyond belief and they are just about the nicest couple you could ever meet to boot. HIRE THEM! -

WOW, just amazing!
Nate and Jensey are the nicest, most easy going people ever; but more importantly, they also happen to be the best wedding photographers in the world!!!! Their work is simply stunning. And Nate will do anything to get that perfect shot, I remember seeing him laying backwards in a flower bed in his suit to get the right angle!!
As with most things in life, you get what you pay for. Remember that in years from now the photographs on your wall or in your album will be the memories you and your family will have. So the photography is worth paying for to get right. And Root Photography get it right, and then some!
I totally recommend without hesitation! -

How can I even begin to describe how wonderful, amazing, and talented Nate and Jensey are? We have been absolutely blown away with the artistry that is #Root_Weddings. From our engagement photos where we were worried that we would be nervous and awkward, but within minutes, Nate had us relaxed and he captured some truly special moments. Nate and Jensey continually went out of their way to go above and beyond. One of my only requests for photos was to get golden hour photos outside, weather permitting. To make that happen the day or, both Nate and Jensey checked out the venue the day before the wedding because they hadn’t been there before and scouted out some great outdoor spaces to take photos. On the day of, the weather cooperated, and Nate captured some truly magical moments—including a real “princess and prince charming” moment!! During the planning process, Nate and Jensey were a pleasure and always responsive. We could not be happier with the moments they captured for us and we will treasure them for a lifetime. You should hire them! -

Having the Nate and Jensey Root photograph our wedding was our FIRST decision when planning, I even told them I'd change the date if they were booked! They are so sweet, you feel like you've known them forever. There is just something about there style of photography that I haven't really seen in wedding pictures. They know how to make you look your very best. I was worried we'd feel awkward having so many photos taken but they made us so comfortable and we laughed all day. They get all these candids moments of you and your guests that you'll cherish after it's all over. If you want gorgeous wedding photos that you will receive ENDLESS compliments on (so unique) with two of the nicest people you'll ever spend a day with, hire Nate and Jensey!!!!! -

Justin and I were married on 11/9/19 and the best decision I made was reaching out to the Roots. I almost just let Jesus take the wheel on a Disney photographer and then I met one of the Root's clients at the Grand on my wedding planning session. I reached out to them in a panic that maybe it was too late and Nate actually replied to me WHILE he was on a Disney cruise. I'm SO glad I booked them. They are the most personable, professional, communicative, and wonderful people. I appreciate everything from the phone calls, timelines, to their very own magazine with lots of great wedding advice. They made my day stress-free and I ugly cried when I received the photos. They captured so many amazing moments that will last a life time. My candids and my portraits are just amazing! They don't leave any detail out. I'm a #rootlifer! Can't wait for my anniversary and future family photos with them. They are very reasonably priced and securing them was worth my Park photo shoot costing a little more (since I used the Roots for my ceremony). Don't hesitate to book them! -

We had the opportunity to have both Nate AND Jensey on our special day, and they were both incredible. We had a small destination wedding and we were afraid how the pictures might look with the possibility of "empty space". But everything was shot and framed perfectly - so if you're looking for a Florida destination wedding with only a few guests, they're absolutely right for you.
Throughout the process, both Nate and Jensey were easy to talk to and made time for us. Most of our communication was via email, with a few phone calls, but finally meeting them in person on the big day was like seeing old friends.
I know that when I was looking for a photographer, I kept wondering about prices. They have different packages to select from, and the Roots even worked with us to create a coverage plan that worked best for our event at a very fair price.
Long story short, if you choose Root Photography, you'll be choosing not just a vendor, but friends that will help you through every step of the process, make sure you're comfortable with everything, and make your day even more special than it already is. -

We got married in May 2019, and of course, we had the most wonderful photographers in Nate and Jensey Root.
My husband David and I are very awkward when taking photos. A year before we got married, we took a trip to Florida and booked an engagement shoot with Nate. The weather was very against us, but Nate was so flexible and amazing. Nate made us feel so comfortable, relaxed and brought out such big natural smiles and gave us some great tips for posing. I couldn't believe how much I loved the photos, and we were so glad we had booked them so far in advance. We just knew the Roots were going to be the photographers for us!
The Roots are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, they were so professional, kind, thoughtful, and although I was a pain and gave them a big list of photos, they were so gracious and got every photo we wanted and so much more (they just have a way of capturing the mood of the day). I think the highest compliment I can pay is that every one of my guests and even those that weren't there but have seen our photos have said they are the best wedding photos they have every seen. That makes my heart happy. One of my friends sister's said "you could see how happy all of you were, and I know you girls, I know how genuinely happy you always are, and the fact your photographers caught that was incredible"
So thank you, Nate and Jensey, for giving us the most perfect wedding photos that we could have asked for. We love them and we can't wait to plaster our walls in them. -

From the first email, both Nathan and Jensey have set out to make our wishes come true. We had visions of our Walt Disney World wedding, and they knew exactly what to do.
They have done a fabulous job, really telling a story of our day, not just taking pictures. After looking at all 1000+ photos, the details, lighting, editing and color are at the highest levels of care. -

Nathan and Jensey took both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures. We are so happy with how they all turned out!! We have hundreds of beautiful pictures from both shoots. They are extremely nice to work with and very flexible. They make you feel very comfortable and know how to put you at ease so that you can take the most beautiful pictures. I would recommend them 8 days a week! -

Christal Sent on 12/11/2011When we originally planned to have our wedding at Walt Disney World I began searching the net for photographers to use. I stumbled across the Roots while viewing some Disney Brides forums. I absolutely fell in love with every single picture that they had on their website. When we decided to not do a Disney wedding I was devastated that I wouldn’t have them as my photographers. Luckily after our engagement session with them in Orlando my hubby agreed that we had to have them.
Nathan and Jensey were so awesome that they actually traveled without charging us. It was a plus that they eloped a few towns over and wanted an excuse to come back to Connecticut. :) I can’t tell you how awesome I think they both are. Not only do they take amazingly beautiful pictures but they also made us feel so comfortable and that’s hard to do when people are staring at you.
They were also willing to work with us on what we wanted and our budget. Our photos were done about a month after the wedding, which was much quicker than we thought. I’m a horrible picture person always have been, but they made me look beautiful. Each and every picture was amazing. They got just about every detail I wanted without having to give them a “shopping” list.
We would definitely recommend the Roots for any event. Beside an amazing eye for photos they are two of the nicest people we’ve met. They make you feel like your instantly friends and not just another couple that they have to photograph.

Nate and Jensey are truly one of a kind. They were so easy to work with on my wedding day. We have gotten numerous compliments from various family members and friends on their amazing talent and ease to work with. They were so patient during family photos despite us having to constantly wrangle everyone together. They got us our sneak peak photos within just a couple weeks and full photos within a month! Knowing how busy they are and that many of my friends waited 4+ months for their own wedding photos, I was shocked at how quickly they finished everything. Nate and Jensey, thank you for capturing our special day so perfectly. I will be so proud when I show these to my future kids and grandkids some day :)
