We recently celebrated our wedding at Sandos Playacar on December 16, 2024, and we chose Romanza Wedding Photography for their Deluxe 6+ package, adding a drone for one hour during the ceremony, which turned out to be an excellent decision. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of spectacular! Our total number of guests, including the bridal party, was 60, with ages ranging from 10 to 85.
The package we selected included:
• 2 Photographers, 1 Videographer, and a drone team
• 6 hours of coverage
• Digital files edited in high resolution (guaranteed a minimum of 500 photos)
• Retouching included in the album selection of 150 photos
• Edited 30-minute video plus 1 highlight video (including the one-hour drone package)
• 3 photo albums
Our dedicated team included:
• Concierge: Jacqueline Herrera
• Photographers: Andrea Vismara and Giuseppe Messina
• Videographer: Kadu Cabral
• Drone Operator: Samuel Aguilar Cordova
• Chief Concierge for Post Sales: Lorena Carrizales
From the moment we met the team, their professionalism and dedication to capturing every special moment of our day were evident. Andrea, Giuseppe, and Kadu worked seamlessly to ensure we felt comfortable and that every shot was perfect. Giuseppe impressed us by remembering all our guests' names, and they were excellent at bringing our 60 guests together for group photos. They commanded everyone's attention in a fun and friendly manner, making the photo sessions enjoyable and efficient. They blended our vision with their creative ideas beautifully. Samuel's drone footage provided a unique perspective that we will cherish forever.
The Romanza team was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, coordinating with us before the wedding day to ensure our vision was captured perfectly. Their attention to detail was exceptional, and their innovative ideas added a distinctive touch to our photos and videos.
Jacqueline Herrera, our Romanza concierge, was always available to answer any questions and ensure everything ran smoothly. My only regret was not completing my list of desired pictures with examples from my Pinterest board ahead of time. I finalized this while at the resort, only the day before the wedding. Unfortunately, I missed having a group photo of the entire bridal party (including our MCs and ushers) with our parents. This oversight was due to my lack of organization!
While we haven’t yet received the albums or videos, Lorena Carrizales, the chief concierge for post-sales, has been amazing in communicating with us whenever I have questions about edits or other matters. She has ensured that we will receive our final products on time and in perfect condition.
We felt that the services provided were an excellent value for the cost, and we highly recommend Romanza Wedding Photography to any couple looking for an exceptional team to document their special day. Thank you, Romanza, for making our wedding at Sandos Playacar unforgettable!

1000/10… we had our wedding in Mexico at grand palladium very beautiful. And we chose Romanza for our photo vendor, let me just start off by thanking the best photographer on the planet, Giuseppe Messina, he was so patient with us and absolutely amazing. Giuseppe was very kind and has such a sweet soul, truly loved working with him, he made our photo experience so fun, and my photos where absolutely stunning and beautiful. And lastly I want to give a HUGE shout out to our concierge that has assisted us with our photo package Carla Godinez and Estefania Lopez(chief). They were overly lovely and outstanding, so I didn’t realize they sent me my photos in the email, silly me. And when I went on the website the link was already expired because It was way past 90 days. I reached out to Carla and Estefania in full panic and face full of tears, thinking my wedding photos were going to be gone forever. Estefania worked so hard to retrieve my wedding photos back which was not easy to do especially after that long period of time as past, but she was able to resend me the link again, Carla and Estefania kept me calm and was very understanding and professional in the midst of it, they saved me a lifetime of heartache retrieving my WEDDING photos back for me. I have to scream this from the roof time I THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR being so patient and warm hearted with me, I wouldn’t of known what I would of have done if my photos were gone forever, they truly went above and beyond for me. Romanza thank you, thank you, thank you for being the best company I have ever experienced. I highly recommend them! 😍 experience of a lifetime ❤️❤️ -

great destination photography
I first want to say how fantastic Sharon was on our wedding day. Her confident and professional nature put me at ease! I was worried about the time but she let me know she had it under control. She gave great direction and was so efficient without making me feel rushed.
Ana was a great communicator/facilitator leading up to our big day. She responded quickly and was very flexible in setting the schedule I wanted. The BEST part! We got more than 300 beautiful photos within 3 weeks of our wedding day! -

Great duo for the photographer and videographer!
Both the videographer and photographer were very professional and flexible. They really helped us feel at ease and they were a great duo! I would highly recommend them because they know where to take the shots and know all the great areas on the property for shots between the reception and ceremony. My husband and I got married in January at the Royalton CHIC Cancun Resort. We had a great experience with Romanza, Daniela was very clear and knew exactly how the timeline of pictures should go on the wedding day. Our photographers Cosmin and Sharon were wonderful to work with, very professional and have wonderful ideas for pictures as we had rain on our wedding day. Incredible photography and videography crew!
The entire crew made my wedding day such a fun experience. I’m not one to enjoy picture taking but they made every effort to make me comfortable in front of the camera and so much fun. I had an incredible time and get to relive that time thanks to their amazing photos! They were extremely quick getting the photos back to us which I’ve heard is highly unusual for a shoot that lasted 6 hours. They were simply a pleasure to work with and I cannot express enough how grateful myself and my wife are that they were our photographers. Excellent service would definitely recommend Romanza! Very professional and friendly and welcoming at same time. Communication on point, accommodating all our needs, support with suggestions for ease. Our photographer Ramires was amazing, she made everything easier, talked us through the session, suggested what we should have been doing (pose, expression, etc) to get good results on photos, minimising our nervousness. Romanza offer range of services and packages to suit everyone needs and the budget. We used Romanza wedding photography for our destination wedding at Sandos caracol eco resort. They were super responsive leading up to the big day but I was most impressed by the photographer Andrea! He talked us through all the photos and was amazing with getting the kids excited about photos, had so many beautiful poses and locations. Andrea helped make our wedding feel so stress free and he captured such beautiful moments. I was extremely impressed with the natural editing and styles and how fast we got our photos back (approx 3 days!). I could not be happier with our choice to have Romanza photography capture our wedding (especially Andrea) and recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a photographer in the area! Sharon, our wedding Photographer from Romanza, was amazing! She was so pleasant to work with and the photo's were so beautiful, I can't stop looking at them. We had a Content Creator hired separately and the two of them worked very well together to capture our day in the best way possible. We received all the photo's back 5 days (yes, DAYS) after the wedding. This is likely due to our wedding being during a slower period (Feb. 26, 2025), but it was a great surprise as we had anticipated waiting a couple of weeks or months.
We selected the "Gold All Files" package, with 2 hours added, for a total of 6 hours of coverage. We had her visit the men's getting ready room, the bridal suite, a first look/couple photos, ceremony, and dinner. We did not have a reception so the 6 hours worked out perfect.
The specific photographer was not assigned until shortly before the wedding day so leading up I was in contact with Lorena who was very kind and quick to respond to all questions. She collected all of our specific requests and provided them to Sharon once she was selected for us.
All in all, I would not have changed a thing. These memories will last a lifetime and we couldn't be more happy with how they turned out. Thank you! -

Amazing wedding experience!!
Jacqueline was incredible and answered all my questions before arriving in Mexico. She sent us a nice timeline for photos and coordinated between us and our photographer.
Martin was our photographer and he was absolutely amazing! He took so many amazing pictures not only of us but our entire party. We were quick to get all the formal pictures done so we got even more casual and in the moment ones. He had great tips for photos and had so many fun ideas. Our entire party loved working with him.
We even had our pictures back before ending our trip in Mexico!
10/10 recommend Romanza for your wedding!!! -

Sweet and wonderful
Ya'll did such a wonderful job with the photos!! My friends and relatives wanted to thank you so much for the great photos, quality, and the emotions that our photographer was able to capture.
We can't quite remember our photographer's name, unfortunately, but we remember him saying he was from Italy. We highly commend his social skills in getting our guests and us to have great laughs. He is a superb photographer and we are so happy and grateful to have had him photograph our wedding.
We felt that the quality of the photos he took for us, heavily outweighed the price. Incredible pictures of your family at your once-in-a-lifetime experience was definitely worth every dollar we paid. -

Beautiful photos, great experience
We got married in Mexico in June and used Romanza wedding photography. I can’t say enough about how beautiful the photos turned out and the fun experience the photographer provided. He made me and my husband laugh and relax while capturing our special day. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone doing a destination wedding! -

My husband and I just got married at the Ocean Maya Royale Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. We were recommended by the hotel to choose Romanza and we are so happy we had them as our photographer/videographer team! Andreas and his team had my whole wedding party laughing the whole time and we felt so comfortable. Andreas also made sure the groomsmen got to the ceremony on time. He was almost like our co wedding planner that day! We absolutely love all of our photos and with our package we have to choose 110 for our wedding album. It was sooo hard to choose from 1100 photos. We loved all of them! They were all absolutely stunning! If we have any friends that will get married in Mexico, we will definitely recommend Romanza! -

We loved our Pictures and It was Fun During the Wedding!!!
It was a wonderful experience being able to get our beautiful day captured by talented photographers. We had a total of 2 photographers and 1 cameraman. Francesco, Daniela, and Paul were amazing. It was super fun getting the pictures from them and they had great pose ideas and made sure they captured every special moment. I would definitely recommend Romanza to capture your wedding!!! The professionalism with this team was outstanding. From the photography and videography they were extremely flexible in adding our vows to the video. It even rained out during the reception, but they did not waste any time and continued to photograph beautiful photos while we were waiting for the staff to set up the reception indoors. -

We LOVED Romanza. The communication was very easy and they responded quickly since the beginning (we booked in July
2019). We got married on 7/11/20 amid the Covid pandemic and they eased all of our concerns leading up to the day and at our meeting once we arrived a few days prior.
Our photographer, Giuseppe was amazing. He came in with a smile and could tell I was anxious and got me to relax telling me to take a deep breathe and shake it out. He was great at getting us to be comfortable and made us laugh a lot which allowed him to capture some great natural pictures. He would make sure my dress was right, no hair was out of place and laughed off our annoyance over the heat. As if we didn’t know Mexico in July was hot!
Overall excellent and they even got us all the pictures (434) within 4 days to look over and choose the ones we wanted to be retouched. The pictures came out better than we expected and couldn’t be happier! -

We got married at the Hyatt Ziva and Maria coordinated the photography. We got the Bronze package with video. Maria was fun, professional and turned our ideas into a reality. We wanted to do a “first touch” and she picked out a perfect location and the day before the wedding walked us through the details. The day of, Romanza provided a crew of 2 who captured the moment. We decided to include a video and are looking forward to seeing it. 250 pictures were dropboxed to us in just two days! -

We had our wedding at Sandos Caracol Eco Resort in October 2019 and Romanza is the photography company that accompanies the resort. Overall, we had a great experience with them! They are very responsive, friendly and affordable. We went with the Gold package, which includes 3.5 hours of coverage, 1 large photo album with 100 photos + 2 smaller albums. On our wedding day, we had Francesco and he was fantastic! He was very friendly, calming (which was good for me) and great at directing our large (and wild) group. He knew exactly what poses and shots he wanted and was great about asking us what we wanted too. He made us feel very special. I honestly felt like a model that day! He gave us a sneak peek at one of our photos and based on that, I know our photos are going to turn out beautifully! I can't wait to see them! They should be coming to us any day now. I think if it were in my budget, I would have paid to have a little more time, as by the time the reception started (we began a little late due to gathering our large group), we only had him for another 20 minutes or so. Also, a bridal tip: Make sure you know what groups or poses you'd like to have photos of and let them know at your meeting before the wedding. Everything goes by so quickly and its hard to think of all of that in the moment. Overall, everything went great and I know we'll have some amazing photos of our special day. From the very beginning when we were planning our wedding, photography was extremely important to us as it captures our perfect day. Romanza's packages had everything and anything you could want for decent prices and/or it was easy to create your own package of exactly what you wanted. They were easy to contact and prompt in getting back to our emails. On the day of our wedding, Guiseppe Barbici was on time, calm and creative. He made taking our photos relaxing and fun. Simply put, you wobt regret hiring Romanza for your event.
Maria met with us months in advance to share their package offering ( During Hyatt Ziva’s Big Day Preview)and best of all offer her suggestions for time of year and time of day site suggestions. She knew her stuff! We took her up on all of the suggestions and we loved the finished product.
Our photographer for the day was incredible, friendly and moved quickly from site to site to capture the days best photos.
We feel fortunate to work with Romanza and we higly recommend them. -

Christine Sent on 04/24/2018These gentlemen were amazing at our wedding at Hyatt Zilara Cancun! I must admit that they had so much patience because we were not the best with staying organized. My nerves were through the roof but they walked us through every shot and they were very specific in giving direction. This direction translated to wonderful "to die for" photos. He had an amazing ability with providing instruction in a polite, easy going manner. It didn't make me feel embarrassed or stressed. We placed our trust in them and we could not be happier with the results! Our family is asking for more photo books because they liked ours so much!!
