In my search for the perfect musicians for our wedding, I found Marty who was by far the most responsive and had the widest selection of songs on his website. Marty and his team are able to accommodate a wide range of genes. We loved contemporary and modern songs to give a Bridgerton feel to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Marty was extremely accommodating and honored my special request songs. The music was played so beautifully throughout the wedding and our guests enjoyed it just as much. We loved having Martin and his ensemble at our wedding! They were super easy to coordinate with, arrive in advance, and our wedding guests are still giving us great feedback about them! Having a trio was the perfect romantic touch to set the ambiance for the evening through our ceremony and cocktail hour. Let there be STRINGS!
We are so glad we went with Romanza for our quartet on our special day. They added the perfect ambiance for our rooftop ceremony and cocktail hour in WilliamsburgBrooklyn. Martina, our amazing wedding planner (insta: @parisasocialevents) introduced us to Marty. He is a gem and was in constant communication with us and Martina. He even called and worked through our aisle song "You and Me - Flume Remix/Disclosure" live on the phone with us a week before our wedding to ensure we had it play exactly how we wanted liked. While he himself could not attend, his employees/fellow artists showed up super professional and played beautifully. It was a big highlight to our day. At first we were worried because we know it's a bit of a nontraditional song but i'm glad we went with him. A true maestro and music fan. Perfect for audiophiles like us. Thank you for the memories Marty. You made our day very special

Wonderful Jazz Trio!

Marty was informative, communicative and professional throughout the entire planning process. He gave me some excellent advice on the instruments to select to achieve the vibe I was aiming for, and he was absolutely right. His song options were far reaching, enabling us to select exactly the type of music we wanted for our ceremony.
When I asked for him to start playing a bit early since I anticipated guests arriving before the scheduled time, Marty was very accommodating. And he reached out to the bride a few days before the wedding just to reassure her that all was in hand. I can't recommend Romanza Music highly enough. And go for the cello no matter what. You won't be disappointed.

Book Romanza!
We can't express enough how much we loved having Romanza play at our wedding!! Marty was such a pleasure to work with, communication was fast and he was always just an email or text away. Romanza provides a lengthy list of songs that they can play for the wedding, which was helpful since we didn't really know where to start. My husband and I requested a few songs that weren't on the list and Marty and his team played them so beautifully! We had songs from Star Wars all the way to Bad Bunny and it was so wonderful that Marty was able to be so accommodating in our requests. I had selected some songs for cocktail hour hoping guests would recognize them, and they did! It was so nice to see the reaction of the guests when they asked if I played a certain song, as they were just excited as we were that it had been played. Our wedding was all outdoors and it really adds to the atmosphere when guests walk in and hear the music playing. Thank you Romanza and Marty for doing such an amazing job!!

I can’t rave about Romanza enough! We hired a string quartet for our wedding reception’s cocktail hour. Marty was so nice, communicative, and easy to work with leading up to the reception and just so dependable. Planning a wedding involves a lot of moving parts and I never worried that this aspect. At the cocktail hour the quartet really knocked it out of the park. They were better than I could’ve ever imagined. I really appreciated that they were able to play some Bollywood songs! They really set the tone for the entire night and I can’t recommend them enough! Hire them!!

The best string quartet!
There aren’t enough positive words to describe Romanza’s work. We wanted a bridgerton vibe to our ceremony and cocktail hour and Marty and his quartet really made that come to life. They played beautifully and I wish I could go back and listen to it all over again. Marty was kind, prompt and professional. He gave great advice about timing of songs and Romanza’s song list is extensive. Would 1000/10 work with them again!

Sweet symphony!

Marty and the Romanza Music Team were absolutely amazing!!! If you are looking to add string music into your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and/or reception, look no further! Marty was so helpful with music selections, coordinating with our DJ, and made sure every detail was perfect! We had the String trio and it was perfect for a 225 person wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and Marty/team even stayed for the first dance and played along to our song! Such a beautiful moment and the strings just made it even more breath taking. We recommend Romanza Music to all future couples and anyone seeking string music for your weddings/events. Most beautiful music
Amazing experience. I hired them for my wedding this past weekend 11/27/22. They were so easy to work with helped with recommendations accommodated any requests I had and Marty was very responsive all the time! Everyone at my wedding was raving about how amazing they were a lot of guests mentioned it was their favorite part of the wedding having them at the ceremony and cocktail hour!! Highly highly recommend they sounded incredibly amazing

Marty and Romanza Music are SO worth it!
From our first inquiry to our wedding day, we had a fantastic experience with Marty and Romanza Music. We had a string duo (violin/cello) perform for our wedding ceremony. Marty was communicative, answered our emails and questions promptly, can truly play any music you request, and executed our ceremony beautifully. They played everything for our processional and recessional as requested and the guests loved it. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to add a little fun and class to their ceremony!

Highly Recommend Romanza Music
We hired Romanza for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and couldn't have been happier. Marty listened to our requests and really understood what style of music we were looking to play at our wedding. He gave us great recommendations and learned the song I had requested to walk down the aisle. Him and his team were very professional and we appreciated them traveling all the way to a venue they had never been to before. We only wish we were able to have heard more of the music since we were swept away during cocktail hour for pictures. We highly recommend Marty and his team and we received many compliments on how talented they were. Thanks for making our wedding so special!

Marty and his group were amazing for our sons wedding. We used them 9 years ago for my daughter's wedding and had to have them again. All of our guests loved them. I actually found Romanza Music through a message board when someone else was raving about them. I took a chance and hired them after reading the review and am so happy I did! Marty was extremely communicative, flexible (I had to reschedule my wedding several times due to covid and he couldn't have been more accommodating), and most importantly played so beautifully at our ceremony and cocktail hour. We got so many compliments about how incredible the music was. I would highly recommend him / Romanza to any future couples looking for string musicians!

Marty & Mikhail were amazing for our church ceremony. They worked closely with our church musicians and were so responsive throughout the whole wedding process. Marty and his group were so wonderful to work with. Professional, caring and accommodating from the very start. They provided a beautiful harpist for our ceremony, and talented group for our cocktail hour that played a wide variety of music including traditional italian and contemporary hits. Marty and his team are fantastic! I always dreamed of having live music at my ceremony/wedding, but never thought it was possible because of the pricing that I saw from some musicians. Romanza music is not only affordable, but everything that I could have ever imagined. Besides the blissful music that was played at the wedding, I knew from my first contact with Marty that I was dealing with compassionate, professional, and a trustworthy individual. The communication with Marty was simple and his responses were always so quick, which put me at ease considering how stressful wedding planning can be. My wedding was right after a storm that closed down many roads in NJ. Marty and his team were still punctual. The music was unbelievable, stunning, and everything that I could have ever dreamed of! I could not recommend Marty and Romanza Music enough. Marty was an absolute pleasure to work - one of the nicest and most genuine people I worked with my entire wedding planning process. He made everything so easy and stress free. He was so responsive and even emailed and called me the week of our wedding to say how much they were looking forward to playing for us! Romanza Music was an amazing compliment to our perfect day! Marty made the process seamless and easy. The quartet were professional and an amazing compliment to our perfect day! Planning a wedding can be difficult, especially planning the musical entertainment, but Marty and Romanza Music with their professionalism and expertise made it simple for us. Great quality classical music, with a wide variety of current songs available. I would use Romanza Music 1,000 times over. Well priced and and an amazing sound! Best wedding decision
Booking Romanza music was one of the best wedding decisions I made. Marty was great to work with and super responsive. He answered all of my emails almost immediately. They learned a modern song we requested and it sounded incredible. Everyone said how good the music sounded. The priest at the church asked for their info so he could use them in the future. I will def use them any opportunity I have in the future. They are wonderful.

Romanza music elevated the atmosphere at my wedding with their beautiful music
I am so glad I booked Romanza Music for my May 15th wedding! Marty was so great to work with and made sure I had exactly what I wanted for my wedding. The music was absolutely beautiful, and I received so many compliments. They even played a couple extra songs I didn't request and they were huge hits with the guests during cocktail hour. My husband was initially skeptical on why we needed string music at our wedding, but after seeing Marty and team play at our wedding, he agreed that they were an excellent addition to our wedding. I would recommend Marty & team to anyone for their wedding.

If you need musicians for your wedding or any event, look no further! Marty and his team are excellent! To start, the whole booking process is easy as Marty is so delightful to work with and he is quick to reply. He checked in a few times before wedding day and made me feel reassured that he and his team would do a great job. He was also very helpful in music selection. Romanza performed wonderfully at my proposal, would recommend!
Marty and Romanza Music made my proposal extremely special. I hired them for 30 mins of a string duo (violin & cello). They braved the cold weather to perform a beautiful set of songs that I picked from the comprehensive playlist on their website. I would definitely recommend making them a part of your special event!

Great experience all around!
Our experience with Marty and Romanza was truly excellent. Extremely responsive to all communication, extremely strong and deep repertoire of music, easily able to accommodate "must have" songs that were not in their repertoire. The performance was amazing; every cue was hit perfectly, not a single sour note in ~4hrs of playing. Many guests specifically commented on how excellent the music was. Very reasonably priced and probably the easiest to work with out of all of our vendors. You cannot go wrong with Romanza!

Stellar performance- wedding 10/24/20
When my fiancé and I started looking for a musician to perform at our wedding, we were so indecisive as there were so many many options to pick from; but when reaching out to Romanza music, we instantly knew they would be the right fit for us. Their responsiveness, flexibility and willing to work with our budget is top notch. Due to covid, we had to reschedule a few times and they were so understandable and made the process so much easier. Romanza Music Events is a first class vendor in every respect. Their sound is truly fantastic, and the passion with which they perform is both evident and inspiring. They created such a beautiful atmosphere for our ceremony with their serene tones, and precise performance. What’s more, they learned several songs specifically to play for our cocktail hour. These were a bit different than the emotional songs played in the ceremony, but were played equally as well. If you are looking to add a tremendous level of class to your wedding, I highly recommend contacting Romanza music. To top it off, Marty is extremely responsive and collaborative. Truly an ideal vendor experience.

We are SO happy we hired Romanza Music for our wedding ceremony. All of our guests raved about how beautiful they sounded and how much they enjoyed them during the ceremony. Look no further! We had the pleasure of working with Marty, and our experience could not have been more seamless. He is a professional and an artist, a truly talented cello musician. Marty reached out to us prior to create a completely customized musical selection for the ceremony, cocktail hour, first dance, etc. When in doubt for what to choose? No fear, Marty even utilized technology to play a sample of any given piece we had in mind or that he suggested. I asked for a mix of classic (my mother is Czech and Marty played Dvorak pieces at our request) as well as more contemporary (Lana Del Ray Young and Beautiful for the bride was so beautiful). He truly set the tone for our wedding day (and hit every note :D ). All musical puns aside, we would hire Marty for any future event, heck, we would even plan an event just to have him perform at it! What a pleasure! Thank you and forever grateful!

Great Trio for any Event
Wow! Marty's trio far exceeded expectations. Professional, with great follow up while helping me plan the music for my dad's 90th birthday party. All three musicians were extremely accommodating and sensitive to the social distancing protocol due to the covid pandemic. But the music was sensational! They played anything we through at them. From classical to rock (who would have imagined a Jimmy Page lick could sound that good on a violin!). I would highly recommend Marty and his ensemble for any event where you need great live music to fill in the background or out front and center.

Amazing!! MUST Hire for your special day!
Where do I even begin, we hired Romanza for our amazing wedding on June 15th at the Legacy castle. Marty was the BEST from the very first call. I wanted a string quartet and I wanted specific songs for my ceremony. He was super friendly and so easy going. He sent me a link with music selections for my day. His team was there super early and ready. They played for my ceremony as well as my cocktail hour. He made sure we were happy and he even took pics which I loved.
I loved everything about Marty & Romanza. I would do it all over again. Hire them they are simply the BEST!!

So pleased with our string quartet!
We had such a great experience with Romanza Music. Marty was super nice and personable. He was also very responsive to all my questions and requests and handled all the logistics (working with the venue, the AV guy etc). He made me feel really good about the musicians and music for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour - all of which was modern music (60s, 70s, 80s mostly) played by a string quartet. Our guests also gave them high praise. Would definitely recommend!

We utilized Romanza Music for the cocktail hour of our 125 person wedding. Marty does a great job ensuring he has a list of songs/genres you are interested in hearing. He ensures he and the team have an understanding of the atmosphere, where they should be, and the expectation. I can't say enough good things about Marty and Romanza Music. If I were to rate them on a scale of 1-10 I would have to choose infinity. Marty was very accommodating in aspects of our dealings and the music was as good as I've heard at Lincoln Center. My guests were thrilled with the program, Marty and The Romanza String Quartet created a beautiful atmosphere and the mini-concert they performed was magnificent. I cannot recommend Romanza Music enough. We hired their string trio for our 185 person wedding in South Salem, NY in August and they blew us away. They played for our ceremony and cocktail hour, mostly modern music, and our guest loved it! Marty, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. He was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process and just went above and beyond the entire time, making the planning super stress free. They played every single song we requested, plus many more, and provided a sound system for cocktail hour, also at no extra charge. They arrived early, and played beautiful music. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Marty and his talented musicians were truly fantastic to work with. We could not have asked for a more talented, professional, and responsive group. Marty went above and beyond to find a piece of music and even wrote something! The beautiful music added just the right ambiance to our wedding ceremony.

Marty and his team are consummate professionals. We were initially trying to save some money by going with some music school students, and we quickly realized even though they were very talented, it is DEFINITELY worth the money to hire professionals for a wedding. Marty played the prelude and our ceremony music. They are very experienced so were able to play some classics and a special song we requested when thanking our parents. Marty is so responsive - a must for a stressed out bride! I only wish I had been around more to hear the beautiful music they played!!

Marty and the Romanza musicians were a great addition to my wedding ceremony. They were on time and the music was beautiful. When I initially reached out, Marty responded within the hour. He was very accommodating and worked within our budget. Couldn’t have asked for better musicians. Thanks Marty!!

Marty is a class act. Very accommodating. I emailed him multiple times with requests and he always got back to me quickly. I would highly recommend them.

We were so fortunate to have found Marty and Romanza Music for our wedding this past September. Marty was an absolute pleasure to work with. Marty was responsive and open to all of our music requests (which included Oasis' "Wonderwall" & The Shins "Such Great Heights" for our ceremony). My wife and I are also nerds and Marty & co happily worked in some sci-fi classics into our pre-ceremony music, including the Force theme from Star Wars. It was amazing and you can't do better than Romanaza Music!
