Beautiful performance

Jay & Lee performed at our wedding during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Their music was such a beautiful touch to our day and was one of the highlights of our entire ceremony. Guests loved listening to the music during the cocktail hour. They were a pleasure to work with and are total professionals. Thanks so much for making our wedding so special!

Phenomenal musicians and professionals

We hired Jason and Elysa to perform at our wedding during ceremony and cocktail hour, and could not have been more thrilled with that decision. Jay was very responsive and accommodating to all our questions, communicating with my husband's aunt who initially found and screened them and discussed out of state travel, with me (the bride) on the repertoire and with our wedding planner on all the operational questions. They both looked professional and stunning for our formal event and sounded so perfect during both the outdoor ceremony and the indoor/outdoor cocktail hour that I wish I could go listen to them more somewhere. The guests are still raving about the performance. I very strongly recommend this duo.

Fantastic music and energy for our cocktail hour!

We hired Jay & Lee Spanish Guitar to play our 90 minute cocktail hour. My dad spent time growing up in Spain and he and his friends were absolutely transported! Our guests loved the energy and tone that Jay & Lee brought and so many of our friends and family raved about the music. As well, Jason was really easy to work with, really responsive to any questions, and came more than prepared with a speaker and all other equipment needed to have a fantastic performance.

Highlight of our event!

Jason and Elysa were incredible! Their music was definitely a highlight of the night and added something truly special. Multiple guests commented on how much they enjoyed their performance. Beyond their amazing musical performance, they were also incredibly easy to work with. Highly highly recommend!

Great guitarist for our outdoor wedding!

We actually heard Jason and Elysa play at another wedding the summer of 2017. When it came time to plane our ceremony, we weren't totally sure what we wanted but we knew we wanted at least one live musician. Jason and Elysa worked with us to figure out what was right for our wedding day and we were so pleased. They were professional and easy to work with. I loved watching our wedding video and so happy we chose them to be a part of our day.

My favorite part of our wedding

Jason Hochman was so wonderful to work with and such an amazing addition to our wedding. I knew I wanted to incorporate part of my culture into my wedding, and Jason made that possible. One of the best bands around

We chose Jay and Lee to cover pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail reception for our October wedding in Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. We were looking for something romantic, intimate, and exciting at the same time. And we could not have made a better choice! They delivered an exceptional performance and high professionalism. Highly recommend - excellent!

Absolutely loved the music. Perfect accompaniment for our cocktail hour of the reception. The music selection was vast and the musicians were very professional yet had a great sense of style that added to the flair of the evening. Exactly what we wanted! Amazing

Jay and Lee played the ceremony and cocktail hour at our wedding, and I wouldn't have changed a thing! They sounded amazing and brought such a unique atmosphere to our special day. There are so many reasons you should use Jason and Elysa for your event! We hired them for the cocktail hour for our wedding (about 70 people) in a small venue. I wanted some beautiful and memorable background music and their music fit that perfectly! I found that as my guests were conversing with me I was drifting off into listening to the sound of their amazing guitars instead of the conversation!! From my first communication with Jason all went smoothly and he made me feel completely confident that everything would go well on wedding day. Besides being extremely talented, creative and professional musicians they are very professional to do business with as well (oh, and also really nice too!) We have had the opportunity to see them perform since the wedding, in a concert setting where we had the pleasure of being able to leisurely sit and enjoy their beautiful music. I highly recommend listening to their music on their website and using them for your event -- you will be blown away!!

Words can't even describe how wonderful Jay and Lee are!! The whole experience from start to end was phenomenal. Jay was so quick to respond to my inquiries and come our wedding day, it was more than I could have hoped for. As my mom is Spanish, it was important to us to have elements of our culture mixed into the wedding. Spanish guitar holds a special place for us so it felt wonderful hearing their beautiful music guide us during the ceremony! They also performed during the cocktail hour and their music, combined with the outdoor setting, created a truly magical experience for us and our guests. Each and every one of our guests raved about how wonderful the music was and it really created the perfect mood for our special day! I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Jay and Lee for everything!

Jason and Elysa performed during the cocktail hour of our wedding reception in June 2017 in the Palm House of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. We received so many compliments on their performance. Everyone absolutely loved them. I have been a huge fan of theirs for a while and love to watch their performances on YouTube. When my husband and I first got engaged, they were one of the first vendors we booked. We knew we wanted them for the cocktail hour. They definitely made the cocktail hour extra special. Jay and Lyse played for our cocktail hour, and this was by far my favorite part of our wedding. They were so easy to work with and to book. They arrived early and started playing exactly on time. Jason and Elysa performed for our cocktail hour at our small venue wedding party. Their music is absolutely beautiful and set the tone of the rest of the party with a perfect touch of class and elegance. The are professional and were promptly responsive throughout all our prewedding email correspondence. Our guests were blown away by their music. My only regret is that I had to speak to my guests and couldn't just sit and listen to Jason and Elysa for the entire hour!

My husband and I booked Jason and Elysa for our wedding on Saturday September 3rd. It was by far one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process! My family is from Spain and we wanted to bring some of that culture into our wedding. Every single one of our guests commented on how beautiful the guitar music was. Jason and Elysa are so talented and professional. They played while guests were arriving, our processional and recessional music, and throughout cocktail hour. They truly made our wedding feel like "us." I can still hear the music playing that I walked down the aisle to - unbelievably beautiful and romantic!! My grandfather especially was thrilled and was dancing during cocktail hour with my mom and aunt. Our only regret is that we wish we didn't have to take photos during cocktail hour so we could hear them play more!! :) Many many thanks to both of them for making our wedding extra special. We highly recommend them!!

Wow! By far one of the highlights of our wedding. Jay & Lee were simply amazing! We had their trio option; a guitar duo & percussion for our ceremony and cocktail hour for our wedding on September 5th. I did not get the name of the man on percussion but he was awesome as well.
They surpassed our expectations. Their music was such an unforgettable touch to our wedding. Our guests are still raving about how unique and romantic it was.
We give Jay & Lee our highest recommendation!

Jason played our ceremony music and cocktail hour. From the beginning he was very responsive. We did all of our correspondence over email, which for me, was quick and effective. The music speaks for itself, just check out their website. You will not find a better value anywhere for a solo guitarist, I looked. My only regret is that I didn't get to really sit down and enjoy the music, because, afterall , it was my wedding day, but my guests raved. Luckily, my cousin has hired him for her wedding in May, so I'm going to be taking a front row seat. Thanks guys!

Guitar Duo were amazing! Jason and his wife played such beautiful music throughout our ceremony and cocktail hour. They even learned a song to play for the bride to walk down the aisle. Everything was really special and completely perfect!

I wanted something different than a traditional string quartet or harp for my ceremony, and was delighted to find Jason and Elysa. Jason was wonderful to work with, offering suggestions for music to be played at different intervals. They blew everyone away! They remained to play throughout the cocktail hour and my guests will be talking about their beautiful music for years to come!

Jason and Elysa were such a great compliment to our wedding. I was looking for unique music to be played for the ceremony and cocktail hour. They were the perfect fit. From the slow romantic spanish music they played for the ceremony to the upbeat fun music they played at the cocktail hour, all was amazing. I had so many guests ask me where I found them. My husband (who originally couldn't care less who I picked to do our music) could NOT stop raving about how much he loved their music. Even more beautiful in person. They were on time, professional, and amazing. HIGHLY recommend.

My Fiance and I celebrated 3 beautiful years together. In order to surprise him I reserved Jay & Lee for a Evening Serenade at a friends restaurant. Sat him in the private dining room and then walked in to the sounds of Rumba Flamenca guitar. WOW! What an evening!!

We hired Jason, Lee and the percussionist for our wedding at the boathouse in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Their performance was simply amazing and the music set the tone for the whole evening. We received numerous compliments from the guests, and we are so happy that everyone actually enjoyed the music. Cocktail hour music could be generic and unmemorable, but Jason & Lee made it so special, festive & romantic. Jason was extremely easy to work with and was also very responsive and detail oriented. Definitly one of the best features of our wedding. My entire experience with Jason starting with the initial e-mail till the very end was effortless. With so many other things to consider I really didn't have much input as far as the music was concerned- I just wanted it to be good and to fit in with the flavor of our cermemony. My feeling was that I should leave it up to the professionals. And I couldn't have been more pleased with how things turned out. Jason was super easy to communicate with and he let me know everything he would need ahead of time so when the day arrived he and Elysa just did their thing without needing any direction from me. I had high hopes for the music and I was exceedingly pleased as it fit right in with our outdoor, rustic wedding. Jason and Elysa are both super talented and the flamenco music gave the perfect romantic atmosphere with just the right festive flare. Jason and Elysa are both easy-going and professional. I can't say enough positive things about them- regarding their professionalism and musical abilities. I recommend them without hesitation!

I am a teacher and I have contracted Jason (as well as his wife and a percussionist) on two separate occasions at two different schools. The first time was at a middle school (in Hastings on Hudson, NY) and the second as at a high school (in Demarest, NJ). They played to full auditoriums on both occasions and the students loved it! I could go on and on about how great they are, but I will keep it short :) These guys can basically transport you to another place with their music. It is magic. I have contracted them twice, and I hope to get approval from my school to bring them in again this year. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing! They performed for our cocktail hour on our wedding day. It added a special touch to the day.. The music was beautiful and everyone loved them. Check out their music, we downloaded it to our iTunes..It's great!!! They were timely and professional as well.. Simply beautiful music!!!

We had two Spanish guitarists play during our ceremony and dinner. They were very professional and their beautiful music provided the perfect background for our outdoor wedding.

We were looking for guitarists for our cocktail hour and with a stroke of luck and passionate internet searching (we planned out NY wedding from LA), we stumbled upon Jay and his wife. They are AMAZING! I highly recommend them. Jay was very responsive and made the whole process super easy. We included percussion as well. The group also accepted pre wedding song requests. They sounded amazing and fit the scene perfectly for our rooftop sunset cocktail hour. My only regret is that I wish I wasn't stuck getting my dress bustled forEVER at the time and could've heard the WHOLE set with a sangria martini in my hand. Now that my husband and I live on the east coast, I look forward to hearing them play live again wherever I can.

I hired Jason and Eliza as a surprise wedding day gift for my husband. They were amazing. Everyone was so impressed by the music. I absolutely loved everything they played. They are extremely talented. Even the service staff (who see weddings two-three times a week) from the venue was impressed by the music stating that it was a unique experience.

Jason and Elysa Hochman played our wedding last September, and they were absolutely marvellous! They played during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and all of our guests commented on how beautiful the Spanish guitar was. They were extremely professional, personable, punctual and easy to correspond with. They also were very flexible in working with us to arrange the perfect flow of songs during our ceremony program. And it was just beautiful! I will never forget walking down the aisle to Besame Mucho! I would highly recommend them if you want to add a special touch to your event.

They were truly amazing and mesmerizing. All my guests were in awe. They played during our cocktail hour and I couldn't have been happier!! Will definitely be rebooking for future events.

Hands down the best wedding decision my wife and I made was hiring Jay & Lee to perform our ceremony music / cocktail hour. They added a level of class and beauty that can't be matched by a DJ or an IPOD. We are still receiving compliments for their performance and it's something we will cherish for the rest of our married lives.

Excellet Guitar Duo! Jason and Elysa performed at our wedding in Cape May, NJ. we were thrilled with their perforrmance and our guest loved them. I have gotten a lot of complimments from our guest. Everyone wanted to know how we found them. They were very professional and easy to work with too. We worked out the songs together and they provided me with some really nice suggestions. Jay and Lee performed at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour (along with Percussionist) and they were fantastic! They plaid beautifully and all our guests commented how unique the music was. Wow, you guys were terrific. Thank you for stepping up at the last minute and sharing your time and talent with us at last week’s gala. You are super-talented and your music was a wonderful addition to the evening’s festivities.
