We decided to go with Romance Travel Group to help plan our wedding, and it truly made the entire process so much more enjoyable. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, and I honestly had no idea where to even begin—but they guided us every step of the way and made everything ifeel easy and manageable.
We had the pleasure of working with Heather and Abigail, who were both incredibly kind, responsive, and always there to answer our questions. They helped us find the perfect location for our wedding and even created a website for our guests, which made everything so seamless.
Even after we were introduced to the team at the venue, they continued to check in with us every couple of weeks and offer their support. They were also available to our guests, answering questions right up until the wedding, which took so much pressure off of us.

Romance Travel Group was incredibly helpful when selecting and organizing our destination wedding. They were very knowledgeable about the different all-inclusive resort options and helped us pick a resort that best fit our needs. They helped us secure a room block and took care of all our guest bookings. That way, I could focus on the wedding, and less on all the questions and concerns of our guests. They advocated on our behalf when we felt like the wedding planners at our resort were not being responsive. The only caveat I have is that weddings at all inclusive resorts are advertised as being “affordable” but I will say that there are a lot of Up-sells when it comes down to the final details, of which I think couples should be made more aware.

Even though we already had our venue and date secured before working with them, they immediately jumped in and were fully prepared to help with anything we needed. RTG takes away all the guesswork!
When we started wedding planning, we knew we would use a travel agency. We searched for the best in the business, and RTG came up again and again. From day one, the team attended to our every need and went above and beyond to make the process as smooth as possible. While we know the whole team makes the magic happen, we worked most closely with Abby and Shannon to make our big day perfect. We are so glad we used an agency to help take away the guesswork. There was so much work that went into planning a wedding so we were happy to count on the RTG team to handle researching the venue, booking and transfers, and taking care of any other issues that arose. Romance Travel Group has been a total game changer for our destination wedding! What could have been an overwhelming and never-ending planning nightmare turned into a smooth, organized, and genuinely exciting experience.
Abby helped us compare what felt like a million resort options in Mexico, Punta Cana, and Costa Rica until we found the perfect fit in Punta Cana. They set up a room block and a booking website for our guests (which was super user-friendly!). Their experience with resort planning is truly unmatched — they knew every detail, every question to ask, and every potential hiccup before it even crossed our minds.
They handled all 70 of our guests’ resort bookings and transportation and fielded all of my very frequent emails. Shannon and Abby always checked in on me to see if I needed anything and were so patient, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process.
I genuinely have no idea how we would’ve survived this without them. If you’re planning a destination wedding, do yourself a favor and work with Romance Travel Group — they made this so much easier and so much better than I ever imagined!

We would gladly recommend Romance Travel Group to any couple looking into having a destination wedding! I would like to give a special shout out to Abigail and Heather for making our wedding planning process seamless. It seemed overwhelming to choose a resort on our own, and RTG created a presentation for us; highlighting their top selection of resorts that best fit our vision and budget! This saved us so much time and made the process a lot less stressful! RTG has been super kind and responsive throughout the process. Our wedding guests were happy with their quick responses to emailed questions. If you are considering planning your own destination wedding, don’t!! Instead save yourself a lot of time, stress and aggravation by picking up the phone and calling the experts at Romance Travel Group. From start to finish, they made planning our destination wedding an absolute breeze. We went from overwhelmed to stress free with one quick call with Abby at RTG.
Our two primary contacts at RTG were Abby and Heather and they are both exceptional! Abby was our initial point of contact and she guided us through selecting the perfect resort for our wedding. Dreams Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morelos turned out to be the ideal location for our wedding—absolutely beautiful and exactly what we hoped for. It was the perfect size for our wedding group of just over 70 people.
Once the resort was booked, Heather stepped in and took amazing care of our guests. She handled room reservations, communicated important details, and arranged transportation to and from the airport. Her communication throughout the entire process incredibly smooth for everyone attending.
We also heard so many compliments from our guests about how great Heather was to work with and how easy RTG made everything for them. As the wedding couple, it was nice to know that our guests had such a great experience with Heather and RTG.
From start to finish, both Abby and Heather were pleasant, responsive, and genuinely committed to helping us have the perfect wedding experience. They answered every question, eased every concern, and made everything incredibly easy for us.

We cannot say enough great things about Romance Travel Group! My fiancé and I initially tried to plan our destination wedding in Mexico on our own, and it quickly became overwhelming and frustrating. In desperation we did some research about destination weddings and saw great reviews about Romance Travel and decided to give them a call. From our very first call with Abby, we knew we had finally found the right team. She listened carefully to what we envisioned, helped us narrow down the perfect locations, and ultimately we decided on Dreams Riveria Cancun Resort and Spa in Puerto Morelos, which turned out to be an absolutely beautiful and perfect choice. Abby patiently listened to and answered our many questions and then coordinated everything with Dreams Riviera. We literally didn’t have to do anything other than make decisions!
Once the resort was selected, Heather became our main point of contact for all guest arrangements. She was truly amazing. She handled hotel bookings, travel logistics, and airport transfers for every one of our guests with patience, clarity, and kindness. We heard repeatedly from friends and family about how helpful and responsive she was throughout the entire process.
Thanks to Abby and Heather, our wedding planning went from stressful to effortless. They took care of the details, answered every question, and made sure that both we and our guests felt supported from start to finish. Our wedding week was amazing and everything we hoped for and more.

The Romance Travel Team was amazing to work with! Organizing a wedding in a different country was daunting to say the least, but their team helped us navigate it with remarkable professionalism and made the experience significantly less stressful. Best Travel Group
I cannot recommend RTG enough! The first introduction call we had, I knew they were going to be amazing. From answering a million questions (from both myself and my guests). To helping us pick the best resort for us, to getting a great deal for our guests, we would be LOST without them! They sent emails to make sure everyone submitted all information on time and made sure everyone was crystal clear with instructions. The booking to and from the airport is a big bonus! A lot of my guests have never left the country and the ease of having someone waiting for you booked by RTG could not be more of a life saver. I would recommend RTG over and over.

Working with Romance Travel Group was one of the best decisions we made for our destination wedding. From the very beginning, Shannon and Abby were absolutely incredible to work with. Planning a wedding can be stressful enough, but when you add in the details of a destination wedding in another country, it can quickly feel overwhelming. Shannon and Abby made the process seamless, stress-free, and honestly enjoyable.
As a gay couple, we wanted to make sure our wedding would be not only beautiful but also welcoming and inclusive. Shannon and Abby went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was handled thoughtfully and respectfully. They guided us through every step, from narrowing down destination options to ultimately choosing the perfect resort—Dreams Riviera Cancun. Romance Travel Group was such a lifesaver for our destination wedding! Shannon and Abby were amazing to work with from day one. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but when you add in a destination, travel, and a big group of guests, it can feel overwhelming. They made the whole process smooth, organized, and honestly really fun.
Since ours was an LGBT wedding, finding the right resort was super important to us. Shannon and Abby helped us every step of the way and guided us to Dreams Riviera Cancun, which turned out to be absolutely perfect. The resort was gorgeous, welcoming, and everything we could have hoped for.

RTG were exceptional! They made planning and executing our wedding so much easier and fun than others we have heard about. They were so quick to answer any questions from us or our guest and made the booking for all super easy! All of the resorts we had to choose from were beautiful and they were very transparent in the benefits each one had versus others. Heather and Abby were extremely helpful in setting up our website, helping to coordinated shuttles to and from the airport for us and our guest and getting us into contact with staff and the wedding coordinator at the resort. I've worked with RTG 3x already (no I didn't get married that many times lol). Shelli came highly recommended by another bride, so we first worked with her to plan our dream destination wedding. Then I came back and she helped us with our family reunion trip, then I came back again and worked with the awesome Maggie this time to work on a 40th bday trip. Maggie has been so helpful with tailoring recommendations to our group needs with lots of young kids and varying family sizes.

I highly recommend Romance Travel Group. My wife and I decided to do a destination wedding, and I'm really glad we found this group. They helped us narrow down our resort location in Mexico and helped us along the way. Any question or concern that they had they would be quick to address. Additionally we heard from several of our guests that it was easy and that Heather was great at keeping everyone organized and informed of upcoming deadlines and information regarding our wedding. Even post wedding we had a bit of an issue with the transportation at no fault of their own, and they stepped in and helped us resolve it. A breeze just like a vacation should be
Our wedding was what a true vacation should be like. Romance Travel Group took out all the guesswork. I am not a planner nor was I excited about planning my wedding. OVERWHELMING!!!!
I just wanted a magical experience for my husband, guests, and I to remember forever. I reached out to RTG and I heard back from Shelli right away. She was there every step of the way and I mean every step. I had a lot of questions. Shelli helped offer locations, budgets, and direction. Heather was an added bonus for all the details. She was incredible with our 70 person wedding. They covered the website, the transportation, the package, the correspondence with the hotel all through covid restrictions. We also got a bunch of fun surprises throughout the year. I highly recommend RTG. Their services are top notch and I wouldn't have been able to have the wedding of my dreams on my budget without their help!

My wife found Romance Travel Group while doing research on where we should do a destination wedding and how to go about planning it. There were so many unknowns, and we did not know the best way to get started to plan a destination wedding efficiently and effectively. Felt like a VIP planning through RTG!
I am SO happy that I came across Romance Travel Group while doing a Google search on destination weddings! I was a bit reluctant to do a destination wedding outside of the US (someone had recommended I look into Mexico due to it being more reasonable, financially). I reached out to RTG and got a quick response and hopped on a call with Shelli who made me feel so encouraged and comfortable with proceeding to do a destination wedding! Shelli and her team provided so much great knowledge, expertise, guidance, and services from the start of the process (choosing which resort!) to the end of the process (traveling back home after the trip). Romance travel group is a must when it comes to planning a destination wedding. I can honestly say I don’t think I would have Been able to have such a wonderful wedding without all of their help. Shelly and heather listened to everything I wanted, including budget, and provided me with a long list of resorts to choose from that met all of our wants. They literally held my hand through this entire process. They booked the resort, booked room blocks, negotiated pricing, sent save the dates, made a wedding website, kept track of RSVPs, collected payments and set up payment plans for guest, and so much more! They also answered all of my questions and guest question about traveling and covid related conflicts. They continued to check in with me during the entire process, even after we returned home. I can’t explain the amount of stress and anxiety I would have had if I had not used romance travel group. Destination Wedding Mentors
My Wife and I got Married in Costa Rica in May of 2022. With planning a destination wedding there is a lot of stress in coordinating all the parts of the wedding. Romance Travel Group helped take a way some of the destination wedding stress. We had grandparents in their 80's make this trip and Romance Travel group screens their vendors to make sure they can accommodate our plans. Romance Travel Group made planning our destination wedding so easy. They handled all of the communication with our friends and family to make sure that everyone got from their home, to Cancun and back, as smoothly and safely as possible. We had about 60 people come to our wedding, and Romance Travel Group took all of the travel stress out of the equation for my wife and I. It was very nice to confidently point our families toward Shelli to answer any questions that they had. Romance Travel Group also gave us great Travel mugs to enjoy beverages in at our resort! Easily planned and friendly
I am so glad I came across Romance Travel Group! Other travel agents were slow to respond and as soon as we talked to RTG, and told them what we wanted, they sent us a list of resorts, we picked a resort and booked it late 2020 getting a very good deal. We originally booked for 7 nights and easily had them add on two extra nights for us.
They helped us and our 26 guests get booked and made sure everyone knew all the information/requirements they needed to get to Jamaica! Any questions any of us had they answered quickly and friendly!
Our wedding day and week was awesome and everyone made it safely to and from!
Romance travel group even sent us travel mugs with our last names on them!

Amazing Experience!
We were referred to romance travel from a friend and boy are we glad we were! From start to finish their team was great, from helping us chose a destination, to setting up our room block and accommodations! Did I mention the fantastic website they built for us for no extra charge at all! They also included round trip airport transfers at the destination for all of our guests! The fact they only asked for a small deposit to start the planning for us for the amount of work that they did is in itself totally worth it (by the way it is refunded to you as soon as you fly out to your wedding) Crazy Right! So ya use them you wont regret it!

Incredible travel agents
Shelli and Heather were so helpful with our destination wedding at Unico 2087. They helped us choose the place based off of what we were looking for and went above and beyond throughout everything with our questions, the website, bookings, travel, etc. I would use them in the future with trips for sure. Best decision we did was choosing Romance Travel Group for our destination wedding
Romance Travel Group made selecting our destination wedding venue easy! Without us traveling to the resort ahead of time, Shelli offered personal experience and recommendations for the resorts, making the decision process super comfortable. Shelli and Heather were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. If we had any questions, they were there and answered our questions thoroughly. Once we selected our resort/venue, they established a website where our guests could book their stay. Not only was our communication flawless with Shelli and Heather, but each guest said the same thing! One guest had an unfortunate event of missing the flight days before the wedding due to a traffic accident. On the way to the airport, Shelli and Heather were contacted and they promptly re-booked the flight. In this stressful situation, they made every bit of it easy. Couldn't have had a more successful destination wedding without them!

Shelli and her team were wonderful to work with for our destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. She initially requested a meeting to make sure that we understood her services and that we were on the same page. When she reached out to our guests she let them know that they should contact HER for any questions, not the bride and groom. Which was GREAT! Working with Tiffany was easy. Tiffany followed up with us, kept us on track and informed. With anything, things cam go wrong. Tiffany quickly corrected it and sent out updated info. She was a strong consultant for choosing the best venue for our daughters wedding requests. We all loved the HardRock. Tiffany worked directly with them setting up the rooms and upgrades.
Our travel documents arrived in a nice logo pouch with luggage tags, suitcase handles and the well prepared paper work.
When picked up at the airport, we were greated with logo bags, much needed water and a snack by the driver.

Wedding of my Dreams
Honestly I don’t even know where to start- much like when hubby and I started planning our wedding. I googled “destination wedding planner” and reached another planner who, instead of explaining the process, just ignored me. That’s when I found Shelli and I am SO glad I did. I went to Shelli with the bare minimum of what I wanted out of our wedding and she turned it into the wedding I never even knew I wanted. When looking on the website, I fell in LOVE with Hard Rock Vallarta (trust me, you will too) and knew we needed to have our wedding there. Shelli was there to assist throughout the entire process- from creating our contract with the resort to sending me the rooming list every million times that I asked for it (sorry!) to keeping Hard Rock’s planners honest and ensuring they kept their word. Honest to God I wouldn’t have been able to do this without Shelli and their team. Having the room payments go through them was effortless, Romance Travel Group took care of transportation to and from the resort so we didn’t get hassled at the airport. There aren’t enough kind things I can say about Shelli and the way her and her team made our perfect day just that- perfect. Every single member of our families said this was by far the BEST vacation they had ever been to. We’re all in agreement that we want to do this again and guess what? It will be planned via Shelli and her team.

Stress Free Honeymoon Planning
My friends booked their Mexico wedding with Romance Travel in January. We found the experience so easy that we decided to book our travel and accommodations in September for our wedding and honeymoon in Hawaii. Tiffani booked everything for us and was amazing to work with! The transfer company was waiting to greet us in each location, and the reports were amazing and greeted us with champagne to help us celebrate. It was so stress free and I absolutely recommend working with Romance Travel Group!

Amazing Destination Wedding
I began planning my destination wedding early and Romance Travel Group was amazing every step of the way. From resort suggestions to travel arrangements and useful travel tips, they were so resourceful. Even when our original guesstimate of 35 guests turned into 82 family members and friends traveling to Cancun, Mexico for our special day, RTG rose to the occasion! Shelli and Heather fielded hundreds of calls and emails from our guests and made each one feel like they were a top priority. Every request and change was handled timely and professionally. You are in great hands with Romance Travel Group!
I recently got married on 4/7/2019 at Azul Beach Resort in Riviera Maya. Shelli and her team helped us every step of the way; I have nothing but positive things to say! She secured us a variety of resort discounts within our wedding contract, which helped immensely in keeping our overall cost down. Additionally, Shelli seamlessly organized the reservations with all of our guests. A total of 75 people traveling from all over the world attended our destination wedding, so this is no easy task. Shelli and Heather made themselves available constantly to walk us and our guests through any questions we had along the way. They were even immediately responsive while we were in Mexico during our wedding weekend to help a few of our guests with issues they encountered with their rooms. Shelli and Heather are kind, attentive, and made my husband and I feel at ease throughout the whole process. I highly recommend their services!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Shelli and the rest of the team at Romance Travel Group! It can be nerve wracking at times overwhelming to plan a destination wedding in a foreign country, but my husband and I knew we were in good hands after our very first call with Shelli! From the very beginning, she was able to very easily give us price quotes for different resorts and even set up site inspections for us. We ended up picking a resort that came highly recommended by her, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out! Shelli herself had visited the resort many times so she was able to answer the numerous questions we came up with over the planning process. She set it up so our guests could make down payments and interest free payment plans towards the trip which was huge for everyone! From that point on, my fiancé and I had nothing to worry about! Shelli and her team handled it all. All of our guests commented on how quickly their emails and phone calls were answered, and everyone always felt that their questions and concerns were promptly taken care of. Romance Travel Group even sent my fiancé and I a couple little gifts over the time leading up to our wedding, and packages to all our guests. Now that’s customer service! April Jamaican Destination Wedding!
We got married April 6th in Jamaica surrounded by 63 wonderful family and friends. This wedding would not have been possible without the help of Shelli and her awesome team at Romance Travel Group. When we started planning our destination wedding, we were incredibly overwhelmed, having no idea where to look, who to contact, or how to even start planning it. Luckily, my husband had a friend who used Romance Travel Group a couple years ago for their destination wedding, and he gave us Shelli’s number and said “start here, she will change your life”. Shelli asked us what we were looking for in a destination wedding; kids or no kids, beach reception or indoor reception, all-inclusive or not all-inclusive, etc. Once we narrowed it down, she provided us with a list of resorts that matched our criteria. We had so many questions when trying to make our final decision, and Shelli did a great job on answering them and providing quick feedback. Once the resort had been chosen, a website was set-up for our guests to read all about the resort, along with a ‘couples page’, and lastly how to book a room. Our website was a life-saver, as it answered many questions that guests had and we weren’t caught up in trying to get rooms booked for all our guests. Before the wedding, Shelli and her team sent out travel documents along with a gift for each guest. Travel arrangements were also set-up in advance for all the guests, so no one had to figure out how they were going to get from airport to resort and vice-versa. We were very impressed that Shelli was able to book all our guests in the same room blocks, and not have us scattered across the resort. Romance Travel Group alleviated so much stress for us, that planning a destination wedding was fun and easy. I would highly recommend using Romance Travel Group for anyone’s destination travel arrangements!

Highly recommend these wedding/travel planning angels! Romance travel group was amazing and so incredibly organized! They are true professionals at what they do.They helped us pick a resort for our destination wedding as the first and most important step to planning a destination wedding. I had independently researched over 1,000 resorts and was feeling so lost as how to facilitate a destination wedding. I reached out to romance travel group online and got a response within 2 hours! Shelli asked what were our top priorities for a resort and sent us a list of her top 10 picks. From that list we chose Azul Beach Riviera Cancun and to be married on top of the hotel skydeck! The resorts they work with are luxury and inspected personally by their team frequently. The Azul Beach Cancun resort is part of the Karisma chain and was the most fantastic beautiful resort any of us had experienced. I would recommend this resort to any bride, as they know exactly what they are doing with weddings and they made our special day better than a dream come true. We cannot express enough gratitude to the staff at Azul for making us and our guests feel like royalty. Shelli made us a website so we sent out a save the date with the link and our guests had all the info they needed to book and get the travel in order. Shelli and her team took all of the stress off of us organizing all of the travel and setting up everything with the resort. Shelli negotiated a contract with the resort for us and so we knew what to expect and knew everything was in order. Shelli and Heather with Romance travel group took excellent care of our wedding planning, travel and guests start to finish. I really do not know how we would have done it without them. We will 100% be using Romance Travel Group in the future for our vacations. We cannot thank you enough!

Planning my wedding with Shelli was an easy experience. She was very punctual and informed on the details of our destination location. If there was ever an issue with the on-site wedding coordinator she would reach out to them on my behalf even if really wasn’t her responsibility. My family also enjoyed booking with her and found it easy to work with the company when booking their rooms. I wanted a stress free experience and was provided that with this company. The Best wedding ever
My husband and I traveled from New Orleans to Los Cabo Mexico for our wedding and the experience was outstanding. My guests were also very pleased. Leading up to the wedding, my husband and I received a box from Shelli containing chocolates wrapped with a personalized ribbon with our wedding date and names on it. Shelli was fantastic, words cannot even express how pleased I was from booking> to traveling> to arriving at the resort. The entire trip was stress free and enjoyable. My husband and I used Shelly (romance travel) to help find a resort, connect with the resort, organize our room blocks, get our guest rooms and everything inbetween for our wedding in Mexico. Words cannot describe how much I love romance travel. They made planning a destination wedding so easy. Shelly always responded quickly to emails and questions from not only me but my guest too. I recommend anyone setting up a destination wedding to use romance travel because having someone book your guest takes away the stress from you. Any issues we could direct them to Shelly and didn’t have to worry about it on our special week. My husband and I decided to do a destination wedding. We felt stuck as to where to begin. We met with several travel agents and just felt they didn't meet our needs to pick a wedding destination and coordinate 35 guests. I was then recommended to contact Shelli at Romance Travel Group. Within one email, which she replied to right away (huge when planning a wedding), we knew Romance Travel Group was right for us. My guests booked their trip easily as well. Shelli answered my many questions I had throughout the whole process.
"What resorts would fit our budget? How does the whole process work? How can I get into contact with the wedding coordinator at the resort? Are kids allowed at these resorts? How is the payment made?"
These questions just being some of the main ones.

She was so helpful and did such a great job and always answered all of our calls and emails promptly. We loved the chocolates sent to us and the cute coffee mugs sent to all our guests, such nice personal touches. 70 guests to Cancun and no problems
I got married in June in Cancun and I was referred to Shelli by a friend of a friend. I was very hesitant to trust someone I have never met, however after our phone consultation, my hesitations were but to ease and I knew I was in good hands. Shelli and her team was there to answer all of my questions and scheduled calls with me when I needed more clarification. She made us a booking website for our guests which made the travel for our guests seamless. We had over 70 guests at our wedding and could not have done it without Shelli!

Shelli and Romance Travel Group was absolutely amazing. We searched for over 6 months to find someone that we trusted. It's too easy to get scammed over the internet these days so we had some skepticism searching for agents online that we would never meet in person, but let me tell you Shelli is AMAZING. She was very attentive to email, phone calls and even facebook! She physically visited our resort before we got there and sent me videos of the locations we were interested in. Romance Travel MADE our wedding!!
Romance travel group was what made our wedding so great for us and all of our guests. We have been to so many weddings, where you say "I wish they had better transportation options" and "I wish this was more organized" and those weddings were in the states. We didn't even have to think about these things, thanks to Shelli and Romance travel and we got married in mexico. Not only did she handle all of this for the wedding, but helped us plan a trip down to our wedding resort beforehand to make sure everything was set for the big day (including private limo transport). From the very beginning, Shelli and her team were informative, reassuring, and responsive and that continued throughout our time working together. The very first call Shelli was so helpful discussing destination wedding resorts, time of year, resort incentives, etc. My fiancé and I felt extremely confident that we (and our guests) were receiving the best price. She even created a website for our guests to access to learn about the resort, room options, deadlines, and payment options. I know many of our guests had questions throughout the process and I heard nothing but positive feedback from them about their interactions with RTG. I felt the deadlines for guests to make deposits and pay in full for their trip were extremely reasonable—something that was important to me as I didn’t want guests to have to make a decision or pay too far in advance. Shelli and her team even sent all of our guests’ packages before the trip with fun travel goodies. As a bride planning a destination wedding in Mexico, it was extremely essential that I trusted and relied on Romance Travel Group for not only me but my 50 guests. We were in great hands and I would choose Romance Travel Group all over again! Highly recommend.

Best Travel Agent Experience for Destination Wedding!
My husband and I had a destination wedding in Mexico, and the resorts wedding planner suggested we use a travel agent to help organize our guest room block, arrivals, departures, etc. I was a pretty nervous about what the cost would be for a travel agent, because everyone knows weddings are not cheap as is. Shelli at Romance Travel Group was the first agent I called, and immediately I was sold. The group gets paid through the resorts, so there was literally zero cost to me and my husband for her services. Throughout the entire process, Shelli was prompt in answering emails and phone calls and extremely helpful with any changes or questions we had during the year or so we worked with her. The booking process was so smooth, and the transportation to and from the airport was professional, clean, and easy to find. We are going back to the same resort for our first anniversary and we happy to be able to work with Shelli again! I emailed her asking for help in booking and she responded within an hour. Highly recommend Shelli and Romance Travel Group for your destination wedding needs!

Incredible resort recommendation by Shelli Nornes!
Our trip to Jamaica couldn’t have been more spot on. We asked Shelli to send us somewhere exotic, somewhere with a great beach, somewhere SUPER romantic, and Couples Swept Away it was!
Not only did she take care of all the logistics, but she even sent us a welcome box full of fun goodies and travel tips to ensure our travels were seamless.
Once we got there, we immediately fell in love with the scenery, the people, and that chill Jamaican vibe. The best part? We came back an engaged couple!
Best trip ever. One I know I’ll never forget. Will be going back there again for a wedding anniversary, for sure.

Tiffani with Romance Travel
We worked with Tiffani for our wedding in Jamaica. We contacted Romance Travel on a Monday evening. I woke up the next day with a response from Shelli introducing us to Tiffani. Tiffani called us that afternoon, and by the end of the day we had a list of resorts to look thru that were tailored to our needs. Tiffani was very professional, very helpful, very kind and responded promptly to our inquiries. She answered questions about our wedding that not only pertained to travel, but articulated herself as a travel expert and was extremely helpful. Tiffani coordinated our wedding party’s travel, which was 60 people’s travel. This was a seamless process, and an absolute pleasure to work with her. Leveraging Tiffani with Romance Travel was advantageous to our wedding and our wedding party, and we will recommend her to any of our friends and family seeking a destination style wedding.

Riu Palace Cabo Wedding
I began planning my wedding two years in advance with Romance Travel Group. Shelli was wonderful to work with from the start and got the ball rolling right away. I was also pleased that Shelli never tried to change my mind, or sell me on a different hotel. At that time, the hotel had not yet began officially booking wedding dates for 2018 but Shelli put me in contact with my wedding coordinator right away, and helped me negotiate an excellent rate. Shelli, and now Heather also, answered every email I sent. Even when I received an out of the office email, I would quickly receive a response from them as well. I made lots of mistakes in relaying information for my large party and the two of them always corrected it without seeming the slightest bit inconvenienced. As the big day got closer, Shelli and Heather double checked with me to make sure I was in touch with the florist and the spa at the resort. Romance Travel was like an extra bonus set of wedding coordinators. They also sent gifts and swag a couple times along the way which I thought was really sweet!
Fast forward 2 years, my husband, 18 of our friends and family members, and I trekked on down to the Riu Palace in Cabo. It was a beautiful resort. The wedding ceremony and the service were better than I ever could have dreamed. I spent months and months before obsessing over details and planning, but none of that was really necessary. The setting by itself is beautiful, and the staff there is really skilled at putting on a great wedding. Romance Travel Group had assisted with our airport transportation, and when we arrived we were offered a private special transportation as the bride and groom, and then upon arrival at the hotel, were given an upgraded room (better view) on the 4th floor. The food was excellent, the staff was wonderful. Unrelated to Shelli, there were a few hiccups in the room and the return transportation back to the hotel; however the Riu staff and Amstar staff corrected them without much effort on my part.
Hair, make-up and photography were provided by guests of the wedding and there was no additional hassle for that either (Thank you Tiffany Gunia and Nikki B Photography). Alaska Airlines was also wonderful in arranging a group discount code for my guests and rescheduling flights as needed. Great Customer service all around! While in Cabo we went on an “Outdoor Adventure” excursion with Cabo Adventures, a Migrino Beach ATV tour with Amigo Tours, and a glass bottom boat tour with Roger’s Boat Tours. All were wonderful. My husband said to me “We do one thing that is fun, and then the next thing is even better.” All of my guests had a really great time in Cabo and I could not have pulled this off without the help of Romance Travel Group. I sincerely recommend them for booking any kind of travel and hope to use them for future travel plans as well!

I worked with Shelli at Romance Travel to plan our destination wedding. When I first came to Shelli, I told her I wanted an affordable resort, something that was around $1,500 a person for flight and a 5 night stay. I also told her I wanted a resort with great food that could accommodate a large group wedding. Shelli came back to us and advised that El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya would be a great fit for us and she could not have been more right!!! El Dorado Royale was the perfect place to have our destination wedding. Shelli made everything so simple and easy. I would email her a question and within 1 hour I would have a response. We had 75 people (42 rooms) book our wedding. It was an amazing turn out and it would not have been without Shelli. She found us the right resort with the right price and then handled all of the booking and made it easy and affordable for everyone to book. I can seriously not thank her enough for everything she has done for me this past year. We had our wedding at El Dorado Royale on 5/27/2018, we began our journey with Shelli back in June of 2017 and she never once disappointed me. Shelli exceeded all of our expectations. Our wedding was perfect, I told her exactly what I wanted for our wedding and wedding resort and she 100% nailed it. If you are planning a destination wedding you need to use Romance Travel! They will save you so much time and stress!! My husband and I are hoping to renew our vows in 10 years at the same resort and will be looking to Shelli and Romance Travel to help us book again. The wedding and the 5 days in Mexico with 75 of our closest friends and family was simply MAGIC!!! I cannot thank Shelli and Romance Travel enough for the best week of our lives!!!
