Absolutely the best!!

I have known Richard & Cristina Roman of Roman Studios for many years and have seen a lot of their beautiful photography. They have taken family photos, our kids’ Senior portraits, our engagement photos and most recently our wedding photos in June!! I never had a doubt that they would be the photographer for our special day! They both have so much talent, creativity, passion for what they do and an eye for beauty! Plus they make it fun! You can also have your stationery designed by the creative wizard herself, Cristina Roman! Our invitations, RSVP cards and envelopes turned out absolutely beautiful!! She listened to our ideas and gave us some as well! We were so happy with them and received so many compliments!!
We just can’t say enough about Roman Studios! They are so wonderful to work with and capture the most beautiful moments!! We highly recommend this creative duo! 💗

Cristina and Richard are amazing. It was so great to have a male and female duo. They were with us all day and were so professional. They intervened and directed when needed and at other points when they weren’t we didn’t notice them intruding with cameras. We loved every single one of their pictures and are still using them for family photos five years later. They have so much experience. Go with them. You won’t be disappointed.

Roman Studios did more on our wedding day then just take pictures, they we’re a large reason why our wedding was so incredibly special. They look at details I have never seen before and truly care about the bride and groom. Honestly working with them was some of the fondest memories we have about the wedding process. They made it so easy and smooth. If you want the most gorgeous pictures with a husband a wife team that will be much more than photographers, then hire Roman Studios. The Romans exceeded all expectations when they did the video for our wedding. They were very attentive to our needs and patient with our questions and requests. We live out of state and needed a photographer for an engagement celebration in Eugene. The Romans worked their magic! In the morning they picked up the happy couple up at the hotel, knew the perfect local park to use as a backdrop and made them feel comfortable. That evening at dinner, they assisted grandparents and arranged family members to capture photos to treasure for a lifetime!

Cristina was an amazing photographer! My husband and I felt so at ease with her photographing us, AND she was prompt and professional at each shoot! She took incredible photos, and the editing afterwards was top notch. We still use these photos today, and are excited to be able to work with her again soon! HIGHLY recommend!

I would highly recommend Roman Studios. Not only were they very professional but they were fun to work with. They were open to suggestions we had about shots and having 2 photographers was wonderful. The invitations Cristina made were exactly what we were looking for. Luckily we only have one wedding we had to do, but if we had other kids, we'd hire them again in a minute. Thank you so much Richard and Cristina for helping to make Molly & Drew's wedding so special.

The Romans were so amazing. Their work is completely beautiful and captured our day so stunningly. They were so friendly and good with our whole bridal party, and large families. I cannot praise the job that they do enough, and do so to anybody that will listen to me. I will be using them for any future professional photography possible. They made our day go so much more smoothly because of their professionalism, they way they got to know us and what was important to us, and keeping everybody focused while having a complete blast! We love them and call them our friends. We also used them for their Synergy service, and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. They did such a phenomenal job.

Above and beyond care! They listened to what I wanted, helped me with what I needed, and even encouraged me. They were great to work with. Kind people, and very laid back. They made our engagement photo shoot, time up to the wedding, rehersal night, and our Big Day run so smoothly! They are not only amazing at photography, they are passionate, kind hearted, creative, talented, and kept us calm.

I have always known I wanted Roman Studios to do the photography for my wedding. What I did not count on was being diagnosed with breast cancer 2 months before my marriage. With the treatment plan came the inevitability of losing my hair, a very depressing a realization for a soon-to-be-bride. I contemplated for a while and finally decided I wanted to have pictures taken with my love before we would go through this life changing process together. I contacted Roman Studios and explained my situation. I had only about a week before I was to begin chemotherapy, time was limited. I know Spring is a very busy time of year for wedding photographers- the fact that that these amazing people would go out of their way to accommodate our situation and work us into their schedule made us feel so blessed, we knew we made the right call. The photography session was perfect, my husband is very shy and self-conscious in front of the camera- Richard and Cristina made us feel so comfortable, it was actually fun! Then we received the images. They captured the energy between the two of us so perfectly, to this day I sometimes tear up when I look at them. Again, I feel so blessed that we were able to work with Roman Studios for such an important intimate time in our lives. I can't imagine working with anyone else. They are truly amazing, so much more than just wedding photographers!

We were so happy to have The Romans as our photographers. They were very easy to talk to and to take pictures with. Richard and Christina were an amazing team and I was so glad to have them as my photographers! Not only did they take some incredible pictures, they came to my rehearsal dinner, had some great suggestions while I was planning, and worked with my DJ on the wedding day to keep things running smoothly. I absolutely love our photos and I really felt like I was re-living our wedding day when I looked through them! They also got some really great photos of our guests who have been really excited to see themselves in our pictures!

Richard and his wife Cristina went the extra mile to make our day so special! From first Meeting with them, up until after our wedding, they have been so good at communicating through emails. We told them our style and went above and beyond to make sure they captured those special shots. The quailty and professionalism was top notch, and they did an excellent job working with our dj to make sure the night flowed perfectly. Richard and the dj even put together a synergy presentation that was so incredibly special to us and was definitely the hit of the night! Thanks again roman studios! Richard and Christina Roman are great. They help you set up a day-of schedule for the wedding. We also had them do our Engagement session and at the wedding the Synergy presentation with Rick from Bass Is Loaded. (Awesome idea if anyone is interested)
Everything was just right. They take gorgeous photos of even plain people like us! They are very pleasant and reliable. They post photos online so that everyone can see them. We could not have asked for anyone better.

I believe the most important service at a wedding is the photographer. Photographs last a lifetime and are the moments beyond words. Generations to come will value the photographs, if not as much, than much, much more.

Selecting the right photographer to capture our most special day was crucial—I had very high expectations as a photographer myself. I have also had the pleasure of working as an assistant for Roman Studios in 2009 while my husband and I lived/worked in Salem for a summer before graduate and law school. During that time, I observed not only how professional and talented Richard and Christine are, but what amazing friends, parents and teammates they are.

I've worked with a lot of photographers and have a lot of friends who are photographers, so our decision was hard. But, selecting Richard Roman was the best decision ever! His imagery speaks for itself. However, we'd like to add just how professional and personable Richard is to work with.

Richard went above and beyond! Our family and friends loved him. He made everyone feel comfortable and at ease, which is a job in itself. RR was such a blast to work with and truly fit in as one of our guests at the wedding.

Richard traveled to Montana to photograph our day and we couldn't feel more appreciative of his willingness and flexibility. He even jumped right in helping my bridesmaids with last minute details of flowers and arrangements while documenting every moment.

When he shared his images with us just one week later, we were speechless. It is such a blessing that every moment was captured and we can go back and re-live the day through Richard's imagery. The wedding day flew by, and each time I feel like I want to do it all over again, I have his images to turn to—the next best thing.

Needless to say, we highly recommend Roman Studios and look forward to working with them again once we have a family!

Chrissy and Richard Roman are simply FANTASTIC! What an utter joy to work with them on my Hawaiian Wedding. I can tell that after watching them photograph my brother's wedding in August of 2011, at the end of his ceremony me and my husband were begging them to travel to Hawaii and photograph our special day. I'm trying to figure out events that we'd need them to attend now! :) I feel like they are a part of our family. They are so personable, they make every effort to remember EVERYONE'S names, which I'm always amazed at since they are so busy making sure they capture anything you could ever want about your event. We met Richard and Cristina after someone else in the industry dubbed them "The Rolls-Royce" of local wedding photographers. After having a discussion in their home about my vision for my photos and the importance I placed on them, I knew that the Romans were absolutely the perfect match for my husband and me. We were SO RIGHT!

Richard and Cristina made our wedding day flawless. I was so amazed at how much time you actually spend with your photographers on your wedding day - and so grateful that the Romans were those people! Both Richard and Crissy have an amazing sense of humor and were able to make the intense day light-hearted and filled with laughter...Even my wedding party commented on how fun our photographers were to be around! My husband and I felt so comfortable, it seemed like we were hanging out with close friends...who just happened to be taking our pictures. Richard and Crissy are such a dynamic duo - Crissy sugary sweet and so thoughtful (she even ran upstairs to our reception to grab us appetizers before the "husband and wife" shoot immediately after the ceremony) and Richard is so brilliant and hilarious - no one could've taken better care of us!

Together,they are so much more than photographers (as if being stellar at their art was not enough!) They came and ran the wedding day in a manner that made us feel like they were our friends that were there to take amazing pictures, but also were there to care for us, assure us, comfort us and insure that it was the best day of our lives. I can't imagine anyone having a wedding experience without the Romans. Not only did our pictures turn out amazing (Richard does a fantastic job of editing/enhancing the images), but their presence enhanced our wedding day just because they are who they are.

Working with Richard and Cristina was one of the JOYS of our wedding. They went above and beyond our dreams for our wedding photography. We not only LOVE the beautiful pictures, but truly enjoyed our time with the two of them. You will spend most of your wedding day with your wedding party, your spouse and your photographer: so choose someone who is talented, knows how to handle any situation and who will make every moment more enjoyable.

Our photos capture all of the emotions of our wedding and show the details of our day so artistically. Roman Studios did an incredible job fine-tuning every picture: it's amazing how the lighting and editing seems to match the mood and feel of each moment. We are thrilled with the outcome!

My husband and I work with college students and thus go to a LOT of weddings: we have never seen any photographers who have been so in touch with what was going on in the wedding! Richard instinctively knew exactly where to be to capture every moment. With so many spontaneous moments in our wedding, Richard was one step ahead, making sure those moments became photos that we cherish! His experience puts him leaps and bounds ahead of other photographers: the family pictures were so efficient, our couple pictures look effortless and we never felt like we were missing our guests!

No other vendor we worked with did a better job of making our day perfect. Simply put, Roman Studios has our HIGHEST recommendation and our person gratitude.

Roman Studios was by far the best choice for us. Talk about flexibility. We changed our minds a dozen times on where and when to get married and they stood behind us ready to go the whole way. They are extremely accommodating and gratious. Our 1 hour planning sessions would turn into hours of planning and fun conversation. I have never left a meeting with a vendor thinking, "I want to invite them over for a football game and Thanksgiving dinner!" until I met Richard and his lovely wife Christina. The quality of service is unbeatable. You won't go wrong with the Romans! We feel like we have the best photos for years of memories and have made some great friends in the process.

As an older couple we found Richard and Cristina to be both understanding and supportive of our unique situation. They were very unobtrusive taking pictures during our wedding ceremony. We can't begin to emphasize how happy we are with Richard and Christina. We ordered the Platinum Package, which includes Synergy (which we highly highly recommend and was loved by all of our guests) with Rick from Bass is Loaded. Richard was wonderful in guiding us along this process, extremely responsive, and has an incredible eye for detail.

We saw Richard and Christina at the Bridal Show in Eugene. Their display was beautiful and the portraits were incredible. We wanted a versatile photographer who could photograph everyone 'in the moment' as well as portrait-style when needed. Richard was able to accomplish this effortlessly.

We met with Richard several times before our wedding. The coordination was great (he attended our rehersal, coordinated with our DJ, and provided great tips) and made our life even more stress-free. On our wedding day, and per our request, Richard met the guys at the venue and his wife Christina took photos as I was getting ready at my moms. It was like having extended family there, they were both incredibly helpful, fun to be around, professional, and patient. Richard attended the entire ceremony and reception. I should also note that our guests were just as impressed (which was important to us).

Our photos were posted online within a couple of weeks and were so impressed. They were exactly what we hoped and provided a great story of our wedding day. My husband and I are 100% satisfied and highly recommend Richard Roman Photography.

At our first meeting with Richard at Richard Roman Photography we mentioned our dream wedding was for it to be a fun, enjoyable, and memorable experience. I very truly believe that Richard made that happen!

I found Richard online, and at the time we were living 2000 miles away, so from the very beginning he helped us with the planning process. Although we were unsure because of the price, when we finally met with him we knew he was going to be worth every penny; and he sure didn't let us down. Our engagement session was so much fun, and the pictures turned out amazing, and now we can't wait to see our wedding pictures.

Our wedding day was super cold and rainy, so our plans to have the ceremony at the gazebo changed at the last minute to having both the ceremony and reception under the covered area. Richard, and Rick with Bass is Loaded DJ (also very highly recommended,) worked together with the other vendors to make this happen. Richard was then able to capture all of our special moments from the beginning to the end. Many of those moments were presented on the synergy media slideshow for all of the guests to see at the end of the reception. This was absolutely amazing, and everyone loved it!

From the beginning we were running around frantic, and far behind schedule. Then everyone was put in a very tight space, so I have no idea how Richard managed to make our wedding so perfect, but nevertheless, he did, and we can't thank him enough!

Over the years, the feedback I received from friends who had gotten married was to make sure to invest in photography - that, at the end of the day, it will all be worth whatever money you spent. And - just over two weeks after we got married...I absolutely believe that hiring Richard Roman Photography is one of the best things we did for our wedding and the lifetime of memories we will have.

Richard and his wife are awesome people. Even from the beginning we felt really at ease with them and liked them very much. We felt like we would be very comfortable spending a lot of time with them on one of the most important days of our lives.

Our wedding coordinator, who happens to be a very good friend of mine, has worked with many, many photographers over the years and she said - he was the best she has ever seen. He knew exactly the right shots to take, the impact of the lighting, where we should have our first moment together before the pictures began, etc. They thought of everything AND were really fun.

Over and over on the night of our wedding - people continuously commented on the level of professionalism of the photographers, as well as how laid back and down to earth they were. I could honestly wax poetic for a very long time about Richard. My husband was initially hesitant to spend much money on photography and he is the first to admit now that it was money very well spent.

I can't imagine a better photographer out there - they helped make ours a truly magical day and we have incredible photographs for the rest of our lives. One last thing - definitely book Bass Is Loaded DJ with Richard - the two of them make an amazing video of the vows and the time leading up to the ceremony. I initially told them - no way - it felt far too cheesy. And now it feels like one of the smartest things we did!!

It didn't take us long once we met Richard and Christina to decide that they were going to be the perfect fit for us and for our wedding. I dragged my husband around to all of the Oregon wedding shows in search for our vendors, and he showed the first sparks of enthusiasm when we found Richard Roman Photography. They conducted themselves with utmost class, professionalism, and their passion for their work was extremely obvious. We immediately felt at ease and confident in their ability to make our wedding the most memorable day of our lives.

We received nothing but compliments from our guests about how wonderful our photographers were. They made my day as a bride so easy and between the two of them, they caught so many moments that I didn't notice throughout the day. Everything goes so fast, and without them, I would have missed so many wonderful details. It was such a joy to go through our photos (and there were A LOT to look through!) a month later and remember all of the fantastic memories. The quality of their work takes wedding photography to a whole new level. I can't even begin to explain how happy we were with their work. I selected Richard Roman Photography after meeting both Richard and Cristina at the Eugene Bridal Show. I gathered giant bags full of information, sample photos, price sheets, album choices, and countless other pamphlets from every photographer vendor at the bridal show. Days after, my fiance *at the time* and I reviewed everything together and decided upon Richard Roman Photography to shoot our wedding. My fiance wasn't at the bridal show, and thus made his choice from what he could see in the quality of work from the things I took home from the show. I made my decision 3 seconds after meeting both of the Roman's in Eugene. From the moment I walked into their vendor stall I knew that the type of photography I was viewing was of the quality I wanted to be able to share with my husband and people to come, years after the event took place. Both Richard and his wife represented their company in a fun, passionate, and professional manner both at that first meeting, all of our meetings to come, at the event, and it is continuing in their contact with us even today. They were able to listen to our ideas, concerns, and hopes for our special day, and they made us feel relaxed and comfortable throughout our experience. They worked with us on a budget, a photo style, met with us at our convenience, and helped us turn our dreams and hopes into a reality. Our event was close to Portland, and they willingly made the trek up there from Eugene. When they sent us the link to view our photos, and we had looked through them all, we were SO happy that we had chosen them to shoot our wedding. I have never felt so pretty before as I did at our wedding, and because we chose Richard Roman Photography, I will be able to feel that way everytime I look at our album.

Not only was I planning my wedding out of state but from 1,000 miles away. I found Richard online and was amazed by his portfolio, I just knew I had to book him for my wedding. After several emails and a few phone calls everything was set up and I had to trust that I made the right choice. Richard arrived early to scout out my wedding and reception site (I saw him from the staging room). My wedding day was the first time that I had met Richard and it seemed as if I already knew him. He was patient and flexible. He captured our wedding day perfectly along with the beauty of the scenery. I am beyond thrilled with the quality of his work. Richard and Cristina Roman/Richard Roman Photography captured the emotion and spirit of the wedding of our dreams! My husband-to-be knew Richard and Cristina personally, and when Richard showed me his fashion photography portfolio at our first meeting, I was sold--ever since I was a little girl, I have loved the posing, styling and focus of fashion photography.

Richard scouted our venues both with us and on his own to ensure we took full advantage of the ceremony and reception locations (Owen Rose Garden and 5th Street Public Market, both in Eugene). Richard shot our engagement photos at Hendricks Park, also in Eugene, and Richard and Cristina shot the preparation photos at our separate locations. They had great ideas and kept us to the schedule theyd prepared in advance, but they were never intrusive and we had plenty of quality private time with our family and bridal party members before the Big Moment. Looking back, I dont remember seeing them at certain times, but I have the beautiful evidence that they were...everywhere! (I cant think of a better qualification of a photography team: they blend in and yet catch all of the action. I have been to plenty of weddings where just one photographer stands out like a sore thumb amid the party-goers.) Richard and Cristina also have a knack of getting anxious brides, flighty mothers, grumpy flower girls, grouchy grooms' attendants, and happy, shining children all to smile like they mean it...no small feat! :-)

Richard provided an online portfolio of our wedding day photos within a month, right on schedule, and I have been blown away by the quality and quantity of the photos. I truly could not believe they got all of the shots they did--for example, I would have sworn that both Cristina and Richard were taking formal bridal party photos while the guests were being seated, and yet there are the photos of our ushers taking guests down the aisle! I had been concerned about the quality of the photos after nightfall, and yet the depth of color, contrast and brightness of every photo came out so beautifully. I still have not had time to view each and every photo they took, and I cannot wait for the big screen viewing party! The true value in hiring Richard Roman Photography is knowing that this once-in-a-lifetime event will be documented in style by true professionals who know how to bring out the beauty and essence of this most important commitment of our lives.

Richard was exceptional! From the first meeting to the 'big day' I know that they were listening to Nick and I and were wanting to make our day as special as possible. Throughout the whole experience we all grew to be good friends. Our pictures are absolutely amazing, we have received multiple compliments. During our event Richard and Lori stayed as long as everyone else to make sure they captured all the action, emotion, and memories. I could not have had a better photographer! The entire experience and the photos truly capture the perfect moments throughout our special day. Richard Roman rocks my world. I looked for a local photographer FOREVER and could not find one I liked. I went to the bridal shows in Redmond, Portland, AND Eugene to find a photographer and nobody was quite what I was looking for. They were cheesy, over priced, bad packages, or just plain bad photography. When I found Richard Roman's website I knew I liked the photography, but that is really only half of the battle. I had to like the photographer too. After all, he was going to follow me around ALL DAY on the most important day of my life! Not to mention the engagement shoot where I have to kiss my now-husband and act like the photographer isn't there! So I needed to like the photographer! And I did. Richard and his wife were amazing! They were funny, kind, outgoing, and understanding. They were always available to answer my questions and since they have seen millions of weddings, they had plenty of recommendations! We went to there house a couple of times to plan the big event, and they made sure we discussed all of the key shots we wanted! During the big day, I hardly even noticed Richard and his assistant. Richard was climbing in the bushes to get that shot of our faces while the pastor spoke to us, and laying in the grass to get the shot of me and my bridesmaids huddled around. There wasn't one shot he wasn't willing to get! He even got a shot of the groomsmen jumping up in the air like the car commercial with their shadows perfectly lit on the grass in front of them. We get compliments on that shot ALL THE TIME! Needless to say, we got along GREAT with Richard, and his work was to die for. I wouldn't have chosen another photographer even if it was given to me for free.

We fell in love with Richard and Cristina at the wedding show. Having a wedding photographer that we clicked with was important since they were going to be all around for the wedding. Everything was great. They were easy to work with and the photos were beautiful. I think they were more expensive than some of the other folks we looked at but we decided to go with them based on their personalities. Lovely folks!

I absolutely love Roman and Christina they did such an amazing job! Our invitations were one of a kind and we got so many compliments. They are so talented in what they do the wedding pictures are amazing! By far the best photographers out there. Well worth every penny spent. Richard Roman Photography is the best Oregon has to offer!!! Having a wedding on July 4th was the hardest day to get a photographer in Oregon, and I was shuffled from photographer to photographer. Eventually I found Richard, and he took my stress in stride and reassured me that this was my day and he would do anything he could to help me out. He is a huge family guy and works directly along side his wife, and we now consider them to be a part of our family. In the end, our pictures turned out beautifully and we couldn't have been happier! Richard and Cristina were incredible to work with! They made Thomas and I feel like movie stars and were so helpful. They're not only incredibly gifted photographers they did everything they could to help make our wedding a success. helped me plan the schedule of the reception. My husband and I got married on July 4th on Cristina's birthday. She was soo excited to shoot on our wedding day. Richard and Cristina were great people to work with. Our pictures were amazing and they were very good about getting candid shots. They are very detail oriented in their pictures. It has come time for my to choose my pictures for my wedding album and I cannot decide because all of the pictures are amazing. We would recommend these 2 to anyone if you want amazing pictures that will last forever.

The Synergy package from Bass Is Loaded and Richard Roman photography is something that our families are still talking about from our wedding. We are looking forward to watching that over and over again in the years to come. We haven't seen our pictures yet but if the Synergy production is any indication then they will be wonderful. Richard was great at being creative since it rained on our wedding day and the ceremony (and pictures) were supposed to be outside. We were able to get some outside pictures without getting drenched. They made the day that much more memorable without a doubt.

Richard and Christina are great!! My husband and I saw them at a wedding show and both really fell in love with their beautiful work and felt really comfortable talking with him. Being on a wedding budget, we were a little hesitant on the price, but after interviewing other photographers, Richard was still the only one we both felt comfortable with and felt we could trust to do a quality job. It is your wedding day, and it is so important to have a great photographer who captures every little moment so that in the future, you can look thru your albumn and feel like your big day was just yesterday. Not only did we love the way the pictures of us turned out, they captured many great candid moments of both the bridal party, and our guests throughout the wedding reception. We highly recommend Richard and Christina to do your professional pictures. They are a great team and had everything to offer AND more for what we were looking for in a photographer. Amazing experience

Roman Studio's was amazing for my wedding. We had them for almost our whole wedding day. They helped us with the day of planning to help coordinate their services and were very flexible in moving around locations the day of. They did great in our Church ceremony indoor and outdoors with the pictures before and after. Christina and Richard are both such lovely people and go out of their way to know each and every member of the wedding party BY NAME!! This helps more than you would expect in pictures and to help with positioning. They were very reasonable with the time it took to get the pictures edited and back to us. The pictures were great quality and very well edited as well.
Absolutely would recommend them. They are very professional and have lots of experience.

Overall Roman Studios was wonderful to work with. They were extremely accommodating with our schedule and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. My one complaint was on occasion there was a delay in their response to emails and we had to contact them to get the link to our photos.

Richard Roman Photography is a talented, professional and experienced company. I met Richard at a wedding show and instantly fell in love with his work and style of photography. My husband is the in the military and Richard offers a generous discount for all service members! Richard gave us his advice based on the vast knowledge he's gained from being in the business, but let us make all of our own decisions. My husband and I both were so pleased with the amount of pictures we had to choose from and the great quality of each. However, because we had plenty of images to choose from we took our time in deciding which images we wanted in our album. Because of this we were dubbed "procrastinators" and put on the back burner. It has been almost a year since my wedding and I have yet to get any wedding pictures from Richard.
