We absolutely loved having our wedding at Rollins Mansion! We looked at many venues in Des Moines, but this was the clear winner even upon our first tour. It is a stunning venue, close to downtown Des Moines but once you're there, it feels like you're stepping into a fairytale.
We also used their on-site catering service and it was absolutely delicious - everyone loved the food. The staff are incredible and really could not have asked for better service & support through the entire process and day-of.
Everything about our day was perfect and I'm so happy we chose to have our wedding here. -

My husband and I recently got married at the Rollins Mansion. The venue is absolutely stunning. We met with Brianna and Jackie on several occasions to go over details. They are both really great to work with. They answer any and all questions in a timely manner and go above and beyond to help ensure the big day is as perfect as it can be. I cannot recommend this venue any higher.... but more importantly Jackie and Brianna. -

Rollins Mansion was THE BEST place for our wedding. It’s absolutely beautiful inside and out. We had so many compliments on how unique it is and everybody thought their food was amazing as well! If I could have my wedding there again I absolutely would! -

We had our wedding at Rollins Mansion and it was amazing! There are so many options at the venue to meet any needs. The event coordinator is very flexible and knowledgeable. Our guests could not stop complimenting the venue and all of the details. The outside area was also very nice with lovely flowers for the fall season! We were very happy we chose Rollins Mansion for our wedding! -

I have had the pleasure to photograph several weddings at this one of a kind location. The added charm, elegance and beauty throughout will make your photos shine. People will think you went thousands of miles away for such photos, but you can have them right here in the midwest. The staff is always on top of things and helping. Easy access from main roads and plenty of parking. The evening have an amazing view of the downtown skyline from the balcony. Always my first choice if clients asks me for a venue. -

This venue was absolutely stunning! We had our ceremony in the long garden. Took photos outside with the mansion as our backdrop and had our reception downstairs in the great hall. The space was perfect. The staff was great and really flexible when we postponed due to Covid. They have some onsite parking and the lot next door was available for rent for additional parking. They also have a cottage for the bride to get ready in, which worked out great! I highly recommend this venue! -

I could not recommend Rollins Mansion and Delmonico catering enough to anyone looking to get married in Des Moines. Brianna was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the entire process and always made me feel at ease. Rollins Mansion is even more beautiful in person than it is in the photos - our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was! If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Rollins Mansion again! -

Had our wedding there yesterday it went so smoothly, it was like a fairytale!! Brianna was a HUGE help and the staff of Delmonico were incredible. Our day went so well thanks to you guys!! we couldn't have picked a better venue. All the guests were so impressed. Our two hour drive from our house was well worth it. Thanks for making our day so special!! if you are trying to decide if you want to get married here just do it!! Thanks again to the entire staff!

We cannot say enough about the staff at Rollins and this venue overall. Like many couples, we were faced with many decisions leading up to our COVID wedding, and Brianna was wonderful about laying out our options as well as being flexible with us as we decided if we would have our ceremony outside or inside. We really appreciated the safety guidelines provided and the adjustments made to help keep guests safe. We elected to have tents installed on the deck due to questionable weather in the days leading up to our wedding, and it turned out beautifully. This really is the perfect place to allow flexibility for outdoor and indoor ceremony/reception, and we were so glad to have those options available to us. All of this and the venue itself is an absolute gem - gorgeous and unique inside and out -
Jessie Sent on 09/18/2018Words can not begin to describe how thankful I am/was for the staff at the Rollins Mansion. Melissa, Daniel, and Brianna worked around the clock to make our special day amazing! Melissa's knowledge when it comes to wedding planning, time restraints, attention to detail and different ideas for what works best is invaluable. All my communications went through her and everything was responded back to in a timely manner. Now the food.... AMAZING, Daniel knows exactly what he is doing when it comes to food and drinks!!!! It speaks great volume when it comes time for your guest to eat and all you hear is the background music, because people are enjoying their meals so much! What was even better is their cater holds a taste testing event, so you get to sample everything before hand and decide on how you want to build your menu. The Rollins Mansion itself is so beautiful, you don't have to worry about decorating at all. The Bridal Suite were the women get ready was perfect and had champagne for mimosas all ready to go! All in all I couldn't imagined my special day without the staff from the Rollins Mansion. THANK YOU!

The staff was amazing and so accommodating as well as very organized. I highly reccommend them for any wedding or event where you want to rest easy because Daniel and Melissa are the total package!

We were married at Rollins Mansion in November. The mansion and gardens are beautiful, and the staff are excellent to work with! Rollins does all set up/tear down of tables and chairs, which was crucial since it ended up pouring down rain almost the entire wedding day! We had originally planned to have the ceremony outdoors, but Rollins was very accommodating and helped us find a beautiful setup inside due to the weather. It was wonderful to be able to have our entire wedding day at one place from getting ready in the cottage and den, to having the ceremony and reception in the mansion! Our guests had fun exploring the mansion, and we received many, many compliments on the venue choice! They also have winter pricing options, which allowed us to save money while still having the perfect wedding venue! -

Natalie Sent on 06/29/2018My husband and I got married on June 16, 2018. We chose Rollins Mansion in December 2016 because it is so beautiful and has its own catering service. The first date that we wanted in 2018 was not available, so you want to book here early if you want to reserve your date! The Rollins staff (namely Daniel and Melissa) worked with us to perfect our schedule of events on the day of, make our menu fit my dietary needs, and ensure that we knew all of the costs up front. While it is pricier to have the ceremony indoors, our wedding day ended up being 96 degrees, so I would recommend booking your ceremony inside if you have a smaller guest list from the start. The ballroom that we got married in is stunning. Everything from the ceremony to the reception ran like clockwork, and the food was delicious! People talked about the garlic mashed potatoes for days! I didn't have to lift a finger all night. I would recommend this beautiful venue for both the ceremony and reception to anyone who wants an elegant, accommodating, and professional experience. I can't say enough good things about Rollins. -

Rollins Mansion was absolutely stunning!!! We fell in love with the place the moment we toured it and knew that it was the perfect location for our ceremony and reception. The staff was fantastic! We also used the preferred caterer and Daniel was incredible to work with and the night manager who was there till the end was great! All of the staff was professional and made our day feel extra special. -

Even though I had lived on the south side my whole life, I somehow had never stumbled upon this gem. I instantly fell in love--stunning architecture, great history, and so quaintly tucked into the trees. Breanna was an amazing help when it came to coordinating and helping us while we planned from out of state, she really made the whole thing so effortless both before and day-of. The catered dinner tasting and group of pre-approved caterers made it so easy to select our favorites. This also made it super easy to get in touch with the bar and catering staff while we planned, since Rollins works so closely with so few vendors.
The space was plenty for our 100 guests. Ample room to walk around during cocktail hour on the main floor, and downstairs felt cozy yet spacious enough for dinner and dancing. The little "carriage house" off to the side was a perfect spot for my husband and I to take a break together with apps and cocktails, change our shoes after photos, and have a bit of alone time before going to see all our guests and dance the night away.
One thing to note is that they have very limited parking, so we opted to have a shuttle (Rollins even provided us info on rates with Keck Parking), which worked out great with our open bar.
Pictures came out stunningly, and it was the most memorable night. -
