Fantastic venue and Jacki provided us high touch, professional service every step of the way! The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was just perfect.

Rollins Mansion was THE BEST place for our wedding. It’s absolutely beautiful inside and out. We had so many compliments on how unique it is and everybody thought their food was amazing as well! If I could have my wedding there again I absolutely would!

and it was beautiful. Everyone was wonderful to work with and helped make sure our big day was something to remember.

We had our wedding at Rollins Mansion and it was amazing! There are so many options at the venue to meet any needs. The event coordinator is very flexible and knowledgeable. Our guests could not stop complimenting the venue and all of the details. The outside area was also very nice with lovely flowers for the fall season! We were very happy we chose Rollins Mansion for our wedding!

Rollins is an absolutely stunning venue! Our guests loved it and raved about it for weeks after our event. Since there are so many different spaces within the mansion, it is really perfect for customizing your event in whatever way you'd like it to flow. They are so accommodating in helping make your day as special as you want it to be. They were on top of their stuff and so flexible to work with!

I have had the pleasure to photograph several weddings at this one of a kind location. The added charm, elegance and beauty throughout will make your photos shine. People will think you went thousands of miles away for such photos, but you can have them right here in the midwest. The staff is always on top of things and helping. Easy access from main roads and plenty of parking. The evening have an amazing view of the downtown skyline from the balcony. Always my first choice if clients asks me for a venue.

This venue was absolutely stunning! We had our ceremony in the long garden. Took photos outside with the mansion as our backdrop and had our reception downstairs in the great hall. The space was perfect. The staff was great and really flexible when we postponed due to Covid. They have some onsite parking and the lot next door was available for rent for additional parking. They also have a cottage for the bride to get ready in, which worked out great! I highly recommend this venue!

I could not recommend Rollins Mansion and Delmonico catering enough to anyone looking to get married in Des Moines. Brianna was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the entire process and always made me feel at ease. Rollins Mansion is even more beautiful in person than it is in the photos - our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was! If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Rollins Mansion again!

We cannot say enough about the staff at Rollins and this venue overall. Like many couples, we were faced with many decisions leading up to our COVID wedding, and Brianna was wonderful about laying out our options as well as being flexible with us as we decided if we would have our ceremony outside or inside. We really appreciated the safety guidelines provided and the adjustments made to help keep guests safe. We elected to have tents installed on the deck due to questionable weather in the days leading up to our wedding, and it turned out beautifully. This really is the perfect place to allow flexibility for outdoor and indoor ceremony/reception, and we were so glad to have those options available to us. All of this and the venue itself is an absolute gem - gorgeous and unique inside and out

Had our wedding there yesterday it went so smoothly, it was like a fairytale!! Brianna was a HUGE help and the staff of Delmonico were incredible. Our day went so well thanks to you guys!! we couldn't have picked a better venue. All the guests were so impressed. Our two hour drive from our house was well worth it. Thanks for making our day so special!! if you are trying to decide if you want to get married here just do it!! Thanks again to the entire staff!

I can't say enough great things about this venue. It is a gorgeous space inside and outside. We had our wedding outdoors as well as the reception. The gardens are so beautiful and makes for great photos in any spot of the mansion. I think the most important note is the staff and the ease of planning your wedding. Brianna and her team were so great to work with. They have a ton of weddings and events in that space but you feel like you're the only one to get married there. We had no stress on the day of our wedding because of their great communication and support. Brianna is also just an awesome person in general. If you want a magical/beautiful/fun wedding Rollins Mansion is it.

We were lucky enough to be the first wedding at Rollins Mansion this summer and I can't say enough about the professionalism, creativity and flexibility that Brianna and the entire Rollins team showed us while helping plan both our ceremony and reception during COVID-19.

We fell in love with the venue immediately but with only four weeks to plan (our first venue had to cancel), I was concerned that we might not be able to pull off the event we had originally hoped for. I shouldn't have wasted one minute worrying...the entire team at Rollins was amazing and not only did we have the wedding day we dreamed of, it was beyond every expectation we had! The venue was gorgeous, Daniel, Steve, the bartenders and facility staff went above and beyond to take great care of us and our guests and Brianna worked tirelessly all day to ensure every detail was perfect.

Hosting an event during a pandemic definitely presented a new set of challenges for the Rollins team but they managed it perfectly. I simply loved every minute and am so grateful that our first plans fell through because Rollins Mansion was amazing in every way!

My wife and I found this venue to be wonderful for our wedding of approximately 125 guests 

We were looking for a couple of different things in a venue.

We were looking for a place that would accommodate us outside if possible but the accommodating and visually appealing on the inside if necessary.

As our wedding was mid October in Des Moines, we knew anything could happen.

Rollins accomplishes both exceeding well.

As it was, the temperature was in the mid 50s but sunny. We were able to have the ceremony, rather short, outside in their rectangular courtyard where the sun was out and the space was protected from the breeze. A bright red cardinal landed on a branch near the officiant and stayed there during the entire ceremony until the clapping at the end. (Apparently, no extra charge for this)

For a little reception prior to brunch, we used their lovely south room for champagne and charcuterie.

We then went to their larger dining area for brunch.

Comfortable to be outside for the ceremony but too cool for the events afterwards.

One of the things that we really valued in this venue is the fact that the staff make “The trains run on time.“

Brianna who is the manager of the Rollins Mansion is very detail oriented and makes sure that everything is in place and on time. Daniel, the head of Delmonico, the resident cater for this space, developed and served wonderful food exactly as we specified.

I rarely leave reviews, but I want to make sure that the public is aware of how awesome this place is!! Our daughter got married on April 27th and I couldn't imagine a more beautiful place for her to get married. EVERYONE at the wedding RAVED about how awesome EVERYTHING was from the DECOR, to the BEAUTY, and ELEGANT DETAILS of the venue , the
FANTASTIC ACOMODATING STAFF (even when we changed something on the fly), they were SOOO patient. The food was catered by one of their preferred caterers (Delmonico). Everyone treated us like family and hats off to the amazing staff of both the Rollins Mansion and Delmonico. A BIG THANK YOU to Breanna, Daniel, John, Olivia and Steve (in alphabetical order) they were the STAND OUTS amongst all the wonderful staff.

Words can not begin to describe how thankful I am/was for the staff at the Rollins Mansion. Melissa, Daniel, and Brianna worked around the clock to make our special day amazing! Melissa's knowledge when it comes to wedding planning, time restraints, attention to detail and different ideas for what works best is invaluable. All my communications went through her and everything was responded back to in a timely manner. Now the food.... AMAZING, Daniel knows exactly what he is doing when it comes to food and drinks!!!! It speaks great volume when it comes time for your guest to eat and all you hear is the background music, because people are enjoying their meals so much! What was even better is their cater holds a taste testing event, so you get to sample everything before hand and decide on how you want to build your menu. The Rollins Mansion itself is so beautiful, you don't have to worry about decorating at all. The Bridal Suite were the women get ready was perfect and had champagne for mimosas all ready to go! All in all I couldn't imagined my special day without the staff from the Rollins Mansion. THANK YOU!

The staff goes above and beyond to help you in any way they can. They let you be as involved or not as you want. We can’t recommend them enough. Anyone complaining about their lack of communication or lack of help from staff is being unreasonable.

When searching for a venue, there is simply no competition around Des Moines in this price range. The mansion itself is beautifully historic, with plenty of space inside and out. However, when choosing a venue, it is difficult to gauge how well it is run and how accommodating the staff will be on your big day. The friendly, detail-oriented staff at Rollins and Delmonico will prove their worth to you as they go above and beyond your every need. This was one of the most surprising things from our wedding day. We were truly blown away with the service we received and felt it was worth every penny! The ceremony was set to take place outdoors, but mother nature decided not to cooperate 30 minutes before our ceremony was set to start. Without any hesitation, the staff moved the entire setup inside quickly and efficiently on a moments notice. We didn't even have time to stress! This is exactly the kind of service you should be looking for in a wedding venue. Another great perk is that many hotels nearby are willing to shuttle guests to and from the mansion (before midnight) with it being already close to the airport.

This is a first class operation. We highly recommend Rollins to anyone looking to get married in the Des Moines area!

Rollins Mansion will always hold a special place in my heart! I absolutely loved everything about our wedding day. The Venue is even more spectacular at Christmas time! It's stunning and our guests can't stop gushing about how beautiful it was. The food was amazing and the staff was wonderful! I highly recommend! If I could give 10 starts I would.

Rollins Mansion was an absolute amazing venue. They provided amazing service throughout the planning and on the day of the reception! We couldn’t have imagined choosing any other venue. Daniel and Melissa are the best!

Hiring Delmonico was one of the easiest decisions for us. From the beginning we knew they could accommodate to what we needed and it never crossed our mind otherwise. We received raved reviews about the food and the set up looked great. Special thank you to Daniel and Melissa for helping us make one the easiest and best decisions of our wedding planning.

Everything that Rollins Mansion and Delmonico Catering did for our special day was impeccable and so well thought out. The staff was amazing and so accommodating as well as very organized. I highly reccommend them for any wedding or event where you want to rest easy because Daniel and Melissa are the total package!

I just had a wedding there in October and the venue is absolutely amazing. On top of it being a beautiful venue the price for the services you get when using the in house catering is very competitive and they do all of the base set up for tables, chairs, etc. The staff was amazing to work with and the catering staff was probably the most professional and efficient I have ever seen at a catered event. The food was amazing as well. If you use their catering make sure you go to one of the tastings. They have a lot of great foods to choose from and can get any Iowa beverage which was a huge plus for us as we like some local wines and whiskeys.

From the moment I visited Rollins Mansion, I knew it was where I wanted our special day to take place. It’s so beautiful and the staff there is amazing to work with, especially Daniel. He did an amazing job at making sure our wedding day unfolded exactly the way we wanted it to. My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We had our wedding there this summer and the staff were absolutely a joy to work with. Even though we worked with almost all of their staff at different times, there was never any confusion or worry about what the next steps were. They were able to help us figure out every part of the day and even worked directly with some of our vendors so we did not have to worry about all of the minuscule details. The day of the ceremony, the staff was on-site and took care of anything that came up.
