Roland and his wife Jane are genuinely amazing! They made my wife and I so comfortable through the entire process. Roland consistently checked in before the wedding sharing tips. He asked detailed questions to gather information to ensure everything was perfect for our special day. One more amazing thing about Roland Gozun Photography is their affordability. I was looking for a reasonably priced photographer, now don’t get me wrong I completely understand the work that goes into wedding photography. This team is very fairly priced for their packages. I would highly recommend them. -

Roland was an amazing wedding photographer. We booked him early in our wedding planning and he continuously stayed in communication with us. About a month before the wedding we did a phone call with Roland to organize the different kinds of shots we wanted to do. On the wedding day Roland came prepared and ready. He whisked off the details bin and did detail photos while we were finishing our makeup. Before the ceremony he did a great job of moving around to capture all of the special moments, first look with my dad and I, my mom putting on my veil, my husband and hid dad together, etc... After the ceremony Roland helped us find great spots around Kenosha to take photos. It was a very stressless process that he made feel exciting and fun. He took shots of me and my husband that I am going to cherish forever. If you hire Roland expect fantastic communication, amazing photographs, and a genuine person trying to make your day go seamlessly as possible! -

Very Professional!
Roland shot our wedding 4/13/24 and he was excellent, highly recommend! He is extremely professional and talented. My husband and I love the photos he took and will treasure the memories. It was a big priority to us that the wedding day didn't feel like one big photo shoot. He was very efficient with all the group shots and two of my bridesmaids commented on what a good job he was doing (they had been in a lot of weddings so they knew!). Also, Roland's pricing is very reasonable for the excellent service he provides. -

Where to start and what to say?
We can confidently say is that Roland Gozun Photography and his team are absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish the communication was excellent.
Long story short, we originally planned for our wedding to take place in 2021 but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to reschedule for the following year. We were able to reschedule the venue and photography for our next date and everything planned out perfectly. From our engagement shoot during COVID which was planned out carefully for the sake of everyones health thru the wedding ceremony and reception, Roland had set plans for us to let us enjoy our special day and not worry about anything else.
The finished product of our wedding gallery and album left us speechless! I mean the album itself is something to cherish for the rest of our lives, the pictures turned out beautiful (smiling while turning every page) and the quality is just out of this world. We truly appreciate Roland in everything he did for us and would recommend him to anyone and everyone! He was able to work with our hectic schedules and reply to every email we sent him. To any future couples out there that need a photographer, Roland Photography is top notch and truly a blessing to work with.

Roland was honestly the highlight of all my wedding vendors! He was amazing throughout the whole process. We were in communication throughout the whole year leading up to the wedding. He was organized, detail oriented, meticulous, and thoughtful. On the day of the wedding, we had a few hiccups with various vendors. However, Roland and Jane kept calm the whole time and helped guide us through the night and ended up being voices of reason and leadership. They were amazing! On top of that, Roland sent me a beautiful video highlights reel as my sneak peek which included drone shots and snippets of our vows. -

Roland (and Jane) are absolutely incredible. Roland is timely, professional, responsive and goes above and beyond. Leading up to the wedding he was in communication with us to provide us with details and helpful tips to ensure a smooth wedding day, which most photographers wouldn’t take the time to do. Roland did whatever it took to get the shot and Jane helped to make those incredible moments shine even brighter by ensuring hair/makeup/dress/people placements were all looking good. We were heard when we asked for specific shots and Roland captured our vision perfectly. Could not have asked for a better team to capture these special moments for us. -

Such a pleasure to work with!
Roland was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day! We got married at the Waukegan courthouse that was a first come first served basis and he was so patient and kind to wait the 2 hours before we were seen by the judge to start taking photos. He captured amazing memories of my husband and I, as well as, our family at the harbor near the courthouse afterwards. He paid no mind to the dirty sand we walked on near the water and even laid down on the sand to make sure he captured the best angle of every picture! And besides the great photos, he was also very kind and patient with the different photo combinations we had to take with each family member haha. He was a true pleasure to work with and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for great photos to commemorate your special day! -

Hands down, the BEST!!!
Where to even begin?! I am a Wedding Planner, so I met Roland and Jane about 3 years ago when we worked a wedding together. In my profession, I work with many photographers, but only a few manage to stick out. Roland & Jane are great to work with, cooperative, timely, communication is great and so forth. However, their product is amazing! Roland has a great eye and will give you amazing photography! Not only has Roland made my Preferred Vendors list, but I love his style so much that I recently hired him for my family's own event-my daughters Quinceañera. I communicated with Roland what I was looking for. Unlike other events, I did not want to work my daughters event. So I hired vendors I trusted and I knew we were in great hands with Roland. He handled all of our photography needs perfectly and delivered our pictures so quickly! The pictures came out amazing and we love them so much!!! Not only do I recommend Roland and Jane in a Professional level, but now as a client myself I definitely recommend them even more!!! Roland and Jane are great and you are in great hands with them! Their creativity definitely goes a long way. He even catches the candid moments you didn't even know were there. Thank you so much Roland!!!! -

Roland and Jane were amazing to work with! Married barely a month ago and we ALREADY have our wedding photos back. We LOVE how our photos turned out.
The entire process of planning, the day of and after has been a very organized and well thought out, as a bride I never felt stress over photos. I was most worried about the timeline the day of which Roland had thoroughly planned out.
If Roland is anything, he is a perfectionist as he was determined to get the best angle/light possible for a perfect photo. We received many compliments on his determination from all of our guests.
Wonderful couple and so easy to work with, could not begin to recommend them enough. Jane worked with Roland effortlessly, she new exactly what he might adjust before he asked and she was so much fun during the girls only shooting pre-ceremony. -

The BEST photographer you will find!
Roland and his wife Jane were a dream to work with! We booked Roland from out of state and I was really impressed with his communication throughout the whole process. Our pictures are beyond anything I could have imagined! Roland has a very calm demeanor and was great at getting the shots but keeping things calm, which I really appreciated. Jane is so sweet and was so helpful with making sure my train and veil were perfect. The quantity and quality of the pictures we received was a huge value for the price we paid and I would absolutely recommend Roland to anyone getting married! -

Finding a place to start when it comes to describing our experience of working with Roland and Jane seems like an impossible task. Every single aspect of the experience was incredible.
Roland was very responsive in all of our communications in the planning process. Rescheduling our wedding twice due to Covid was a stressful experience (to say the least) but Roland made sure that photography was not one of the elements we had to be concerned about.
I'm convinced that Roland and Jane have superpowers because somehow they were always where they needed to be throughout the night. For many of our photos I commented that I had no idea that they were where they had to be in order to capture the shot. Many of our guests also commented on our amazing photographers throughout the night.
Lastly, but most certainly not least, we received a handful of photos a few days after the wedding and received the rest a couple weeks earlier than promised. Every single photo captures the joy of the day; Roland's ability to capture candid moments in particular is unrivaled. His use of natural light is beyond impressive.
I could go on and on about how great Roland Gozun Photography is, but I'll finish by saying that if photography is something that is one of your top priorities when it comes to vendors, you should stop your search now. You won't find anyone better. -

It has been a delight working with Roland and Jane both for our engagement and wedding photos. Roland and Jane have a keen eye in capturing the most authentic and most captivating photos in such that viewers can meaningfully tell the story behind the images. Every photo is uniquely captured. They have been absolute representations of us as a couple and our story. Between the engagement and the wedding photos, they have delivered exceptionally and beyond what we have expected. Roland's song selection for our slideshow couldn't have been any more perfect for us that we ended up using it for our wedding party's processional. We have received lots of conpliments for our photos. Their team is simply amazing. They are very fun to work with which puts us at ease. Jane always has our backs making sure that every detall is in order from my veil and train to Tony's eyeglasses, etc. They are true professionals who have mastered their craft and are very passionate about what they do. If we can give them 10 stars, we will. -

Roland was prompt, accommodating, and knowledgeable throughout the entire wedding planning process. He traveled quite a ways to shoot our engagement photos at the location we wanted. During the shoot, he coached us through poses that would result in some beautiful portraits, while also capturing our goofy, geeky personalities in between. Neither of us were used to being photographed, and he was able to get us to relax and get some gorgeous natural shots.
For the wedding itself, he was brilliant. He wrangled the rather large bridal party (18 people) with ease, and was able to get all the shots that we wanted with plenty of time to spare on our wedding day, but in pre-ceremony and during the ceremony. Once the reception arrived, we had asked that he try to "capture as much candid gold as possible," and he delivered. My cheeks were hurting from smiling so much as I scrolled through the galleries.
I could not have asked for a better resource or person in Roland. Should I ever need another professional photographer, he's my guy, and I hope he'll be yours as well. -

Choosing Roland and Jane Gozun to photograph our recent wedding was one of the best decisions we made. They are incredibly talented and our pictures truly blew us away. All of the details, laughter and even a few tears were beautifully captured in their photographs. They are absolute professionals and looking through these pictures have made us so happy! Our wedding was on Mother's Day weekend and we were so pleased with how quickly the Gozun's were able to turn around a few photos - specifically portraits with our mothers. All of two days later, they were thrilled to receive these photos as gifts. Such a quick turnaround also let me order and send out photo thank you cards earlier than I had anticipated! After getting married two weeks ago I have already received a few teaser photos and they are STUNNING! Picking a photographer can be nerve wracking with so many options out there but this was the best experience! Starting from the engagement photo shoot Roland was so nice and he helped us to relax and take some wonderful photos. On the wedding day we had the pleasure of having his lovely wife help out with the pictures. We were having so much fun and we’re able to relax with them. No details were missed, the shots we received were hard to pick just one for Thank you’s! We are thrilled with our experience! -

BOOK ROLAND NOW!! There is no better photographer!! Roland and his wife Jane were exceptional! They captured all of the beautiful moments of our wedding day from getting ready until partying at the reception. Looking through our wedding photos we are able to relive the day in its totality because they captured every single significant moment. People cannot stop talking about how amazing our wedding photos are as well as our engagement photos (Roland shot those as well). Roland and his wife are also extremely kind! They make you feel at ease. They are extremely professional and likable. As part of hiring them for the wedding, Roland gives you a complimentary 3 hour engagement shoot. Just like the wedding, Roland followed our vision and made it come to life for our engagement shoot as well. My husband and I cannot stop talking about how great and talent Roland is. We joke about wishing he could just follow us in everyday life capturing photos. We could not have hired a better photographer and his wife who is the assistant photographer is equally as talented. On the morning of our wedding they worked exceptionally as a team to capture both of us and our sides of the bridal party getting ready, despite us being on separate floors of the hotel. My husband and I met with many photographers and no one compared to Roland. His talent, personality, and passion are unmatched. If you want the best, you have found it! -

Creative, Inspiring, Professional & Hardworking
Roland and Jane shot our wedding last August and I have only positive comments to say about them:
1. The artistry and quality of the pictures themselves were excellent.
Not only were the final pictures wonderful, but they were shot in such a way that they needed very little editing or retouching. -For any welders out there reading this: Roland is a welder, not a grinder. ;) - in other words his work is already so good it does not need editing. He understands lighting and how to use it to make the shot and the people in it look magical. When I looked through our pictures and pictures of other weddings I realized that each was very unique and captured the mood of the day.
2. Professionalism: Replies were prompt, concise and timely. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed thoroughly. The contract and terms were clear and fair. And Roland and Jane were friendly and warm while remaining focused and professional. They are very easy to work with.
3. Flexibility: My wedding was in the States - I live in Europe. Finding a time between a 7 hour time difference to video conference was not always easy in regard to wedding planning - but Roland was able to make it work very easily. We were also very happy with the shots of neighbors and friends and family that we got from the wedding!! I add this to flexibility because he had a lot of requests coming from all sides of my family! With a big family and lots of kids, it is not always easy to capture the beauty in the chaos - but somehow they did.
4. Hard working
Roland and Jane put in a long day's work at our wedding - they showed up early and went home late. My whole family was impressed by workday that they put in - considering this is coming from dairy farmers - that says something.
5. Price:
More than fairly priced for the value! WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!

Roland and Jane are dynamite. They are very flexible with locations and are down to improvise a location on the spot. We are from milwaukee and they met us for our engagement photos in Chicago and then milwaukee for our wedding. Extremely professional and communicative. They make sure to cover all of their bases. If something didn’t happen for you, it’s because you needed to communicate beforehand. Also, my mother is a Filipina and Jane was so lovely to help my mom with her Maria Clara style of dressing. -

Whether new to wedding planning or researching for a while, you will not be disappointed with Roland Gozun Photography. Knowledgeable and experienced, Roland and his wife Jane made our wedding day flow with ease while creating memories to last a lifetime. Throughout the entire process, Roland was available by phone and/or email to answer the plethora of questions we threw at him, while also customizing a package that worked for my husband and I. He and Jane even met us at the venue one day to walk the resort and gather photo ideas, without charging us an extra fee to do so. Once the big day came, I felt comfortable knowing what to expect as well as having a timeline to follow. Very honest and not pushy – works with you and your vision while sprinkling their expertise throughout. My biggest suggestion to everyone is to listen to your photographer when they say use the timeline template and have a list of photos you want to ensure you capture. Your wedding day will fly by in the blink of an eye, so the more you can discuss with your photographer(s) ahead of time, the less you need to worry about on your Big day. Roland Gozun Photography offered not only the traditional wedding photos, but an artsy spin on all the details and moments you want captured. Roland and Jane also work very well together, keeping things moving forward with their calming yet can-do attitude. During the wedding and reception they were always at the right place at the right time capturing the best moments of our big day! They don't use photoshop to get impressive pictures, just an artistic eye and great skills with lighting. I am extremely happy we chose Roland to be our photographer. Do yourself a favor and pick him too!

Of all of our vendors, they were the easiest to work with, extremely professional, their work is absolutely stunning, and they go our pictures back to us edited less than a month after our wedding day! They are worth every penny! I kid you not, many of our guests later commented on how Roland and Jane were fantastic at being in all of the right places at all of the right times while still being unobtrusive. Roland and Jane captured photos in moments when i didn't even realize they were present! The two of them make an awesome team, and I highly suggest you take the time to meet with them and see their work. I can't say enough amazing things about them, I am so happy with how the photos came out! -

We had an engagement shoot in September of 2016 at Independence Grove, and we worked with them in September 2017 at our wedding at Kemper Lakes. For both experiences, they were kind, professional, fun, and so attentive to detail. It felt like we were working with family friends as opposed to people we had hired to capture the best day of our lives together. When we first booked with them, Roland was amazing in working with us to customize a package that included everything we wanted and not things we didn’t need. This was very special to us as we had met with other people who were rigid on their photo service packages. Despite having a year between meetings, Roland and Jane stayed in touch with us all through our planning. They asked questions to get to know us and our styles, took all of the Pinterest photos we sent and shared to heart, and were able to really understand the types of pictures we wanted. On top of all of this, they were an absolute joy to work with—do kind in taking our requests and working with our very large wedding party, and very great with making us feel natural and relaxed when it was just the four of us. As a bonus, the payment and communication with them was SO EASY! I will definitely recommend them to all of our friends and family. In fact, one friend at the wedding who got married three months earlier said she was so upset that she didn’t know about hem sooner for her wedding!!
