Truly Brought Our Vision to Life
We had an amazing experience with Rod Bell DJ Services for our wedding! We first met Rod at the Philadelphia Wedding Expo and immediately appreciated how flexible and accommodating he was. One of the biggest things we loved was being able to fully customize our package to fit exactly what we wanted for our day. We booked DJ services, photography (including our engagement shoot), a second photographer for 2 hours, videography, and they worked with us to make sure we received all of our raw photos and video footage so we could do some editing and creative projects of our own afterward.
Our wedding included a lot of meaningful cultural and family traditions, and the team handled every single moment beautifully. They captured and coordinated highlights including our Vietnamese tea ceremony, jumping the broom, the horah, lion dancers accompanied by live instruments that transitioned perfectly into DJ music, and even our reverse anniversary dance. We created detailed playlists and shot lists, and I also shared inspiration photos along with inspo wedding videos to help communicate the style and vision we were going for. DJ Rod and the team truly understood it all and matched the vibe perfectly.
A huge shoutout to the incredible team: DJ Rod, Ron (our main photographer), Sharon (our second photographer. She even thoughtfully brought a beautiful hanger for my dress!), and King, our videographer. Everyone worked so hard throughout the entire day and made us feel supported and cared for. Our guests had an amazing time, and we’ve received so many compliments on the music, photos, and videos. We especially love how the photos and videos captured both the energy and emotional moments of the day.
We would absolutely recommend Rod Bell DJ Services and the entire team to any couple looking for talented professionals who truly listen, care about your vision, and work hard to make your wedding unforgettable! -

every couples was dancing in the floor, the music was good, the especial request karaoke was perfect and meet my expectations to its surprise! the budget was very reasonable. -

Before our wedding, we were excited to work with Rod because of how helpful he was over the phone. Of course, never being in this situation before, we were nervous to see how our DJ would capture the vibe throughout the wedding (at the ceremony, at cocktail hour, and at reception). Thankfully, not only did Rod do exactly what we discussed on his DJ checklist, but he threw in more songs that really made the night special. We thought we had a very good playlist for all the dancing we wanted to do, but Rod enhanced it. He played the best of the best songs, and when family members wanted to play something obscure off of Youtube, he was very open to taking requests. With Rod as our DJ, we had so much fun that we (the bride and groom) BOTH forgot to have any dessert at all. We were both having too much fun on the dance floor to even notice the line starting to form. Thank you, Rod, for being the best DJ we could have ever asked for. Last weekend was simply amazing. My brother got married at the Merion NJ, and I was his best man. My wife and I flew from Paris and we had the time of our life. Rod was the DJ for our multicultural 200 person wedding in Havre de Grace, MD on 4/25/24 and we could not have asked for a better,
more involved, fun, personable, enthusiastic, talented DJ! My family is from France and West Africa and my husband’s family is from Maryland and Rod perfectly and seamlessly emceed in English AND French throughout the wedding. My family started dancing when salads were still being served because they couldn’t resist getting on the dance floor. The mix of french, african, american music (+ taking requests from guests) was so impressive! Rod was even dancing with our guests and with my 80 year old grandma ! who raved about him all night. His wife and him were lovely during every meeting we had and extremely responsive and kind. We cannot recommend him enough to all our friends and family! Merci Rod!

Rod Bell DJ Service is PHENOMENAL!!! DJ Rod is able to read the room and bring whatever energy that the moment calls for. You know that moment when the song “hits” & the room jumps off? Almost like the DJ read your mind? That’s Rod’s talent! To have him as a wedding DJ is a guarantee that the party will be fun. He was easy to work with, clear, and very charismatic. -

Rod is an outstanding DJ. He is responsive, asks questions to ensure he understands what you want/don’t want for your reception and has a gift to know exactly what to play and when to play it to give you the vibe and party of your dreams. My ask was to get the party going and keep the dance floor packed. If it’s possible to over deliver, he one thousand percent did on that ask. If I could give 10 stars I would. Absolutely phenomenal and if I have the chance to book him again for a party I would do so without hesitation. -

DJ Rod Bell was AMAZING at our wedding. He had so much energy and really knew how to read the room to keep everyone dancing all night. He was exactly what we wanted and needed for our wedding. Rod Bell DJ services did an outstanding job at our wedding reception. He arrived early to set up at the reception hall, coordinating everything in advance with the wedding coordinator and bringing all of his own equipment. All of our songs were included in his playlist as well as several other songs That matched the ones we have chosen. Many people came up to me during the reception and said he was the best DJ they had ever heard. The set up was fantastic. He brought all his own equipment, including a great sound system computerized so we could make changes on the fly or play requested songs. He also brought a photo booth system, which was a big hit with everybody . It allowed people to go into the area and have their photos taken and printed immediately afterward so everybody could take pictures with them. He started on time. He coordinated the events of the reception, including announcing the bridal party, the bride and groom, the best man speech, and The prayer before lunch. He was very engaging with the crowd and got everybody involved. I think the services were very excellent and I highly recommend him. Rod has a great personality and works well with the crowd. He even helped out when the bride threw the bridal bouquet. I would hire him again. I recommend him to all my friends. -

We LOVED DJ Rod Bell!!! Throughout the entire planning process, Rod was communicative and easy to talk to! The questionnaire he prepared was extensive, and he knocked it out of the park! Our dance floor was filled all night and we had the time of our lives. We heard every song we wanted to, and then some! The photo booth was a HIT, too!! Rod was also a great host and helped our event remain fluid and exciting! Our guests will be talking about this for YEARS!! -

I cannot recommend Rod Bell DJ Services enough. From start to finish, everything was amazing! They were easy to communicate with, they understood what we were asking and even offered really helpful suggestions. DJ Rod was so energetic and kept us dancing the whole time. Our guests kept coming up to us and telling us how great he was! Our photographers Ron and Nathan were so friendly and creative, and our videographer King gave us the most beautiful video. The photo booth was a great time as well. And the dancing on the clouds with the cold sparks, as well as the monogram made us feel like we were in a dream. Again, 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!
