Lorie created a bouquet for my micro wedding out of dried and wood flowers and coordinated it with flowers for my ceremony decor that was fresh and I used as reception decor (her idea, and it saved me $$$$ repurposing the decor!). It was exactly what I wanted and now I can keep it forever! Highly recommend!! -

My husband and I did an out-of-state post-wedding elopement shoot, and we decided on doing it at Rocky Mountain National Park. We came across Lorie, and she turned out to be absolutely amazing. Her florist shop and salon, Glow Salon and Spa (who did my hair and makeup), are pretty much next to each other and very close to the national park, which made getting ready and getting the flowers very easy. I wasn't entirely sure what I was wanting for flowers, so I told Lorie I was looking for something very wild and Rocky Mountain-ish and gave her an inspiration picture as a vague direction. Lorie delivered more than I could have imagined. She gave me a huge, gorgeous bouquet that was exactly was I was looking for, a flower crown that matched, and a lovely boutonniere for my husband. Lorie is so, so talented, and a very kind woman, so if you're getting married or eloping in the area, I highly recommend contacting Lorie!!! She won't let you down! -

Amazing Wedding Day Flowers
My husband and I were blown away at the floral arrangements Lorie created for us for our wedding day. She is kind, patient, and professional. From the bouquets and floral arrangements framing us during our ceremony, to the incredible centerpieces for our reception. She did an outstanding job. Our wedding theme was the four seasons and our wedding colors were blue and purple. We asked Lorie to come up with creative ways to represent the four seasons in our floral centerpieces and she did not disappoint! The flowers were beautiful!!!! We could not have been happier with all of the beautiful flowers we are so thankful and lucky to have had on our wedding day. We HIGHLY recommend Rocky Mountain Wildflowers!!! -

She made all my visions come to life and put her expert touch on our arrangements and I couldn't be more happy!! We had a tight budget and she kept a us on track and still gave us everything we needed to make it exactly what we wanted! Everything was perfect!

Kendra Sent on 04/22/2018Rocky Mountain Wildflowers did an amazing job on my bouquet of red roses with greenery as well as my husbands red rose with greenery boutonnière! The flowers really popped in our wedding photos and we are very pleased with how well everything turned out. Marry Me In Colorado placed our flower order, picked them up and delivered them to us at the wedding site! It was very convenient and we are so thankful for such a great experience. We are very pleased with who we chose to help us make our dream wedding come true! If you’re thinking about getting married in Colorado, I highly reccomend that you use Marry Me In Colorado and Rocky Mountain Wildflowers! They will not disappoint!

User2637010 Sent on 06/07/2016Most of our flowers turned out ok and the reception flowers looked good. Unfortunately every boutonniere and many of the the corsages fell apart-- some before the ceremony! The bridesmaid's flowers and my bridal bouquet fared a bit better, but definitely suffered some wilting within an hour of receiving them.
My biggest complain with Rocky mountain wildflowers was that the original budget was exceeded by $1500! and because I did not receive the bill until 2 days before the wedding, I didn't feel like I had the ability to have them work with me on the price. It was just so much higher than what was quoted. Also, there were things that I asked not to happen (like real candles on the tables) that were used. It seems like some of the things we talked about were forgotten or notes were not looked over.
Overall I was happy with my flowers but the extra expense definitely left a bad taste in my mouth-- especially since many of the flower groomsmen/groom/parents didn't hold up.Rocky Mountain Wildflowers's reply:
Karen omitted the fact that her flowers increased in cost because the final flowers she chose for her wedding, different from her original estimate, included premium flowers such as peonies, garden roses and ranunculus and she added table decor for her reception that was not on the original quote. We sat down the day before her wedding and she proceeded to panic over cost (not the first time this happened with her) and even though I had purchased and paid for her flowers, she cut her budget in half, which we obliged and worked with her on. After seeing her wedding photos, (I am friends with her photographer) the boutonnieres were pinned incorrectly which is what caused them to break - the stress of where the pin was placed - horizontal and directly under the rose head and not on the stem. As she cut all onsite servicing from her floral services, they were responsible for their own pinning - had we been onsite we would have ensured the the flowers were attached properly and eliminated this issue. -

The owner, Lorie, is extremely scattered and non-responsive. She never returned my calls or emails. She never showed up on my wedding day as promised -- she sent her family members who had no idea where everything was supposed to go, and inappropriately asked the venue staff to take care of the florals for them. They left the ceremony flowers sitting out in the hot air for hours and hours, despite Lorie telling me she would make another trip with them closer to the start of the ceremony so this exact scenario didn't happen. Her husband Kevin came up with some lie about it being a liability to put their arrangement up on the arch, and told my mom to do it (WTF?!). Our venue coordinator confirmed that is absolutely untrue. The large arch arrangement ended up in the wrong spot, which I didn't see until I was walking down the aisle. On top of everything, the flowers were pretty but not actually want I wanted and not what we had talked about. The centerpieces were completely off. They forgot the flower girl petals. They never brought the extra vases for the bouquets to go in upstairs. I was hugely disappointed (especially after making repeated, ongoing attempts to get in touch with Lorie leading up to our date), and it was the only thing that went wrong on an otherwise perfect day. I tried not to let it bother me, but let's be real, it did. Flowers were my top priority for the day and we had a comfortable budget for them. I wish I would have gone with someone else and urge you to do so for your wedding. Lorie causes major stress no bride needs before or on the big day. -

DO NOT USE ROCKY MOUNTAIN WILDFLOWER FOR YOUR FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS!!! Do NOT be fooled by the sweet idea of having your floral arrangements made by Rocky Mountain Wildflowers. Lori is consumed with so many responsibilities to manage in her life, like managing her farm with alpacas, owning and running Glow Salon, in addition to many other responsibilities. Almost a year before our wedding I made an appointment and drove up to Estes Park from the Denver area to meet with Lori. When I got to Lori’s place of business for Rocky Mountain Wildflowers, I was surprised to discover that I was meeting her at a salon. When I got inside the salon, I was told Lori owned and ran the salon, but was not meeting me because she had some other responsibility she had to attend to, so I was to meet with her sister, Christy. Although Christy is truly kind, she is not a florist, she is a hair stylist. I entertained the idea and sat with Christy and discussed our ideas for the floral arrangements for our wedding. After the meeting, emails were sent back and forth, and I decided to make another appointment, this time with Lori the florist and owner for Rocky Mountain Wildflowers. Lori and I had a lovely meeting, and she understood how important it was for me to have these flower arrangements made for our wedding. I am quite the flower lover. I even had a back-up florist in Denver, but canceled with them because my meeting with Lori really assured me things would go well. I went ahead and pre-paid for our arrangements. After meeting with Lori at her salon, I decided to also arrange for me and a few other girls to get ready at the salon the morning of our wedding. On the day of our wedding, I was sitting in the hair stylist chair and said, “I can’t wait to see my floral crown!” The hair stylist stepped back confused and walked over to Christy and then returned. She explained that Lori FORGOT about our floral arrangements!!!! I tried to remain calm as Christy apologized and explained that Lori and her family were quickly making silk arrangements so that we would at least have something for our wedding. We were 2 hours late to our wedding and lost 2 hours of our wedding reception because Lori just FORGOT. The silk arrangements were NOTHING along the lines of what we had discussed. I was so heartbroken looking at our wedding photos with our disappointing floral arrangements. The day after our wedding I went back to the salon and Lori’s daughter refunded me and apologized. Christy apologized. Lori never did. A few weeks later my husband and I returned to Glow Salon to retrieve items that were accidentally left behind. Lori told me she almost stole the items because they were so cute. Again, she never apologized for the heartbreaking disappointment she caused for forgetting about our weddings flower arrangements and for wasting hours of our wedding day. She is heartless.
