This venue is absolutely perfect for any style wedding. They did anything and everything I asked and wanted and so much more. Everything was modified just for us & they truly went above and beyond for us to make our day perfect. When I thought I was picking a venue, I had no idea I was making family.

We had our wedding here in October of 2022. From the beginning, Suzy and Brian ensured that my vision would come to life. The planning process was EASY (they took care of the food, desserts, open bar, and already had their own touches of fall decor)-- the venue speaks for itself. The morning of, I walked around the property and Brian made my friends and I a bonfire to relax at. We stayed at the Air BnB on site, and it was clean, fully stocked, and perfect for our friends and family to use. The actual wedding went off without any hiccups. The food was perfect, the venue was beautiful, and my husband and I had one of the best nights we could have asked for. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful it was and how easy and laid back the night was. It was PERFECT. 10/10!!

Everything was wonderful! The food was delicious and everyone was so unbelievably helpful. A good time was had by everyone and I never heard a single complaint from anyone who attended. These are good people and they go out of their way to help. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue

WOW!! Rocking J was the first and only place that my fiancé and I visited. We went for a visit and then took our time to research other places and none could touch the service, quality or price of the Rocking J, three weeks later and we went back to sign our contract. The ranch is beautiful and the accommodations are fantastic; from the beautiful view, the space the ranch provides, to the guest house, it's gorgeous and I can’t wait for the day to get here. From the first visit that we met Suzy she was so welcoming, outgoing and cooperative. I would absolutely recommend giving Rocking J a visit if you're looking for the rustic outdoor theme.

The owners and staff were amazing! So helpful, understanding, and organized. Suzy was awesome to work with. She kept our big day moving without any problems, and helped decorate just the way I wanted! All of my guests were obsessed with Randy’s truck.

Our experience at Rocking J Ranch was absolutely wonderful. Everyone there was so professional and all my guest loved it.

This venue makes you feel right at home. It’s almost a month after our ceremony and we are still having guest tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to.

From the moment I stepped on the site I was impressed. Suzy makes you feel so welcomed! The property is absolutely beautiful! It does lend to great pictures and the event space is amazing! Highly recommend!

Rocking J was the PERFECT venue for our wedding! We were threatened with rain in the morning, Suzy & Randy reassured us that we’d move the ceremony inside if needed. Fortunately, the rain cleared & everything went as planned! Allyson, their assistant, is very helpful & super friendly. We paid extra to stay in the basement VRBO from Sat-Sun & for the truck entrance. They offered us great discounts so just ask. Randy’s BBQ & the desserts were delicious! They went above & beyond to make hot dogs and Mac & cheese for the kiddos and Suzy made us a to-go container of all of our desserts for us to enjoy later. We had our photographer set up a photo booth, brought cornhole/bags for guests to play, & lit sparklers for a cool photo op!

BEAUTIFULLY PERFECT day!!! Absolutely the wedding of my dreams!! Breathtaking views, rustic charm, amazing food and Suzy and Randy become like family. We could not have asked for a better venue!! 10 out of 5 stars!!

We could not have dreamed of a better day! Suzy and her staff took care of us from the day we arrived! The food was AMAZING and their attentiveness made our weekend a breeze! So in love with Rocking J Ranch!

My husband and I were just married at rocking J Ranch on May 4, 2018. We absolutely loved it. :) The venue was perfect for what we were looking for. We did a 1920s rustic themed wedding. The owners and staff were so helpful and helped to make our day perfect! They took care of mostly everything with the all-inclusive package. The food was so delicious, the decor was awesome, and the atmosphere was so perfect. I would highly recommend this wedding venue.

Rocking J is the most beautiful venue in my opinion! Suzy did an amazing job helping me plan the perfect wedding in a 2 year span. She’s very understanding and patient. My husband got deployed the year we booked the wedding so I reached out to Suzy about pushing it out another year and she didn’t even hesitate. I absolutely love her and her husband Randy’s dedication to making sure the bride is happy and taken care of. I can’t thank them enough for an amazing day.

I would highly recommend using this vendor. Suzy and Randy are such great people to work with! They are very cooperative and on top of everything. My fiancé and I loved working with them.

This venue was absolutely breath taking! We were the first wedding of the season this year 2016 and they had just put on a new roof and made major changes. We had perfect weather
The ceremony was outside and truly just an amazing memory.
The food was so tasty and had so much flavor and color. Not your typical buffet food and the fact they BBQ right outside the barn makes this venue unique.

We had our reception at Rocking J Ranch and it was perfect! Randy and Suzy are talented, fun, Earth loving people, and it shows through their work and venue. If you are looking for country, antique, chic venue this is the place. Our guests were awed at how beautiful the natural landscape and country side. The food was classic and tasty, and the natural decor with added flare fit just to our style. They have so many options to add on or you can DYI too. Randy even cooked me a special meal since I am vegetarian!! They are flexible, professional, and we couldn't have been happier with how everything went. Thank you!! Kristine and Tony

We had our wedding at Rocking J a few weeks ago and I can't express enough what a great experience it was. We booked the event as a DIY event where we were responsible for almost everything (decoration, catering, DJ, photography) since we were on a tight budget. They still were very hands on and went out of their way to be help us with things that were not even supposed to be a part of our package. From letting us use a lot of their decorations and whatever else they could do to help make our day special. I can't express enough how grateful I am.

Absolutely love Suzy! She made the whole process so easy. Can't wait till our special day to come and enjoy all the arrangements we made with her.

This venue is amazing. The food was great, too. I highly recommend having a wedding here. The owner even let's you borrow decorations. You really don't need to buy anything extra unless you want to.

Rocking J was great!! They definitely made my day so very special and so much easier than I have ever heard of or seen!! I could not be happier with the way my day turned out. There were a few things leading up to it that got me nervous that only being their responsiveness to my concerns. However they handled them so amazingly it just wasn't timed the best all the time. But they are busy and I understood that! Everything else about the whole entire thing was so amazing!! They are great people with great hearts and they did one hell of a job! We absolutely love this place and would recommend any one to use them.

My daughter wanted a rustic, cowboy boot, barn style wedding. Rocking J was the perfect venue for the event! My daughter & her husband are both active military and live elsewhere which left the majority of the wedding planning & decisions in my hands. From the moment I saw Rocking J, I knew it was the perfect venue for the event. The all-inclusive package worked perfectly for us. It was extremely helpful that the DJ, Officiant, cater & dessert were already included. Tables, chairs, linens & wood center piece blocks were already included. The barn has lights on the poles & ceiling for your use along with lots of other unique décor that is sure to compliment any barn wedding. I am very organized so I found Suzy easy to work with. She and her husband, Randy, were very sweet and seemed like family by the time we left(in a good way!). I always had a copy of my contract in front of me any time we met, but we never had any disagreements over it. They do host a LOT of weddings at this venue, so my recommendation is to take ownership of your event and I'm sure you will have the wonderful experience we did. The price is very reasonable for everything it has to offer and we could not find anything that even came close in this price range in the St. Louis area. The food was excellent. Our guests are still talking about what a special day it was and how awesome the venue complimented the style of my daughter's wedding. I found the DJ, bartender & photo booth very easy to work with and they did a nice job. The only thing we found disappointing is that we ran out of dessert. Our all-inclusive package covered up to 150 people and we only had 110 attend. I'm sure they prepare the food & dessert for RSVP number (so likely 110) but I was surprised we ran out. They did have 4 different desserts that all looked WONDERFUL. I suspect many guests took a piece of pie and a piece of cake and that may have been the cause for the shortage.
