Rockfield Manor's reception area was renovated in 2025. The new reception area is right next to the garden which was perfect for our ceremony. The venue itself is next to a park which made for great first look photos. The venue has plenty of parking, kitchen facilities, a cottage for the bride and bridesmaids, a suit for the groom and groomsman, and a barn for a backup location incase weather isn't ideal. The staff at Rockfield Manor were a delight to work with. They ran with all of our quirky ideas, which included a temporary tattoo station, and an area where you could learn to juggle. The staff knew exactly how to communicate with all the vendors, so we could focus on ourselves during the wedding.
If you want a venue where you can be in the moment on your wedding day, then Rockfield Manor is the place for you! -

Rockfield Manor was the perfect setting for our Halloween-inspired fall wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning, with a charming manor house, beautiful park surroundings, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. From our very first visit, Eileen and the Rockfield team made it clear they were there to support us every step of the way.
When we unexpectedly needed a new day-of coordinator, Eileen went above and beyond by offering Rockfield’s in-house coordination services, which we cannot recommend enough. Her communication was excellent, and she was incredibly attentive throughout the entire process. One of the biggest advantages was being able to drop off our décor a few days early at the rehearsal, knowing Eileen and her staff would handle setup perfectly. They also assisted with packing up at the end of the night, which made things so much easier.
We were especially grateful for how seamlessly Eileen worked with our other vendors, like Nicole from Crossroads Bistro. Everyone collaborated beautifully to keep the day on track and stress-free.
Tip for future couples: Book the day-of coordination services through Rockfield. It is absolutely worth it for the peace of mind and the level of care you will receive. -

We are so grateful that we chose Rockfield Manor as our wedding venue. From the very first moment we reached out and through every interaction, the staff were nothing short of helpful and attentive. We immediately fell in love with the venue, and are so glad we also got to have our event in the new, beautiful addition. The manor also had an intimate feeling, while providing enough space for us to sprawl out and give guests room to explore and enjoy themselves. All night long, we had guests come up to us and tell us how gorgeous the venue was!
We also cannot recommend enough adding on the day of coordinator through Rockfield. We were paired with Stephanie, and she was such an enormous help! She was very thorough in understanding our vision and ideas, and kept us on track with the incredible timeline she put together for us. It also ended up raining on our day, and Stephanie was able to pivot and coordinate our ceremony indoors, keeping us calm in the process. Our ceremony ended up being even more beautiful than we originally envisioned. We can confidently say that our wedding would not have gone so perfectly without her (and Rockfield’s) help. -

I don’t even know where to begin with how wonderful Rockfield Manor and their staff is. It is an absolutely gorgeous venue with elegant decorations and a home style feeling. It’s such an affordable wedding venue too. You get the best of both worlds by having an outside and indoor wedding venue. The true home feeling was Rockfield’s staff. They will make you feel like you are a princess and that they will to do anything to make sure you have the perfect day. The manager Eileen who showed us around the manor at first was so kind and knew exactly what to say to ease any nerves. The absolute star of the show was our day of coordinator Stephanie. She was BEYOND helpful. You can feel the good energy coming from her. The day wouldn’t of been nearly as beautiful or gone as perfect if we didn’t have Stephanie. She answered all my questions so quickly and no matter what time of night it was. She made my vision come true with her hard work and I couldn’t of asked for a better night. I will forever be grateful to Rockfield, Stephanie; and the rest of the Rockfield staff that made my day as perfect as it was. -

Rockfield Manor is a charming and beautiful venue. From the two locations you can pick for your wedding, to the adorable and beautifully furnished/decorated bridal cottage. My husband and I got married at Rockfield on a Friday evening in June. We had the best night of our lives and our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The space was beautiful and intimate. From the intimate ceremony in the garden to the dinner and dancing on the patio, we all felt connected and joyful. The garden is free for guests to use throughout the ceremony as is the house, giving guests who may need a quite moment plenty of options. The staff was so helpful and responsive. They made sure every detail was taken care of and they made sure I didn't have a single worry on my wedding day. The suggested vendors were AMAZING. They know the space well and know how to accommodate the guests to ensure they are comfortable and happy. Rockfield is a gem of a venue for your special event. I cannot recommend it enough and I still can't believe how lucky I was to get this venue for my dream wedding. -

Rockfield Manor was an absolute dream come true! I knew from the beginning that this was the venue we needed and boy did they prove me right every step of the way! Rockfield keeps their cost insanely affordable in comparison to a lot of other wedding venues in the area, all while still delivering on high quality service. They work very closely with their recommended vendors and help to ensure you have a beautifully seamless day. They were always available to answer our anxious questions and really helped us navigate the difficulties of planning our own wedding. I HIGHLY recommend adding a Day of Coordinator. Shoutout to ours, Amy! She was PHENOMENAL! So sweet and soothing while also being super knowledgable! She set up all our decor perfectly! She literally catered to our every need the week and day of! Could not have done it without her! Also have to mention how beautiful and charming Rockfield is on its own! The Manor and grounds speak for itself! We got married on Nov. 4th and the fall foliage and landscaping came to SLAY! I’m sure it’s beautiful during winter and summer as well. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Rockfield for making our Wedding Day absolutely perfect! -

The team at Rockfield Manor is amazing. Stephanie and Kellee are so knowledgeable, creative, personable, and have BEAUTIFUL personalities. .They exceeded our expectations of our vision for our special day. Perfect day
Absolutely beautiful day at Rockfield for our wedding! Everything was beautiful and so organized. I am so excited to get the rest of my pictures back to see more how the decor and tables turned out. It's not their fault the day flies by.
Kellee was so responsive and helpful throughout planning for questions or letting me set up more tours for family/close friends visiting.
I am so glad we used a coordinator as well. Dani made everything so much easier and helped me figure out details I was not sure about. I didn't use a wedding planner so any help was so appreciated.
It rained on our day but Rockfield was ready and so organized with adapting and making the day absolutely perfect. -

this venue was not only gorgeous but amazingly helpful! stephanie made sure everything ran smoothly and even helped bustle my dress. she helped my photographer find pretty places for photos too! definitely spend the extra money on steph as day of coordinator! my maid of honor and mother didnt have to worry about anything and got to enjoy the day like me!!Rockfield Manor's reply:

Rockfield Manor will FOREVER hold a special place in my heart. From the location (close to home) to the atmosphere to the people who made my wedding day beyond special! I couldn't have asked for a better team of women who were there for me from day one. They answered every single question, gave me ideas when I wasn't so sure about multiple things and even walked me through insurance, vendors, you name it. Kellee was there in the all the time of needs, and she helped open the venue in the morning. She is so sweet, nice and made sure everything was ready for me in the morning. I want to give an absolute huge shout out to Stephanie who in my opinion went above and beyond to meet all of my expectations. She is so kind, down to earth (but an absolute firecracker), she made my decor visions come to life, she was my train fluffler for pictures!, she was there with drinks in hand, and made our entire night go so smooth. I couldn't have asked for a better day of coordinator. I 100% recommend her and all of her staff! My wedding day was a dream come true!Rockfield Manor's reply:

Winter Wedding 2022
Rockfield and their staff, impeccable!! Hands down so impressed and so happy to have had them host us for the most important day of our lives! I loved the romantic, intimate and cozy vibe of the manor house. If you are a winter / December bride and you are looking for a beautiful winter wonderland, this is IT! The manor was decked out in a winter wonderland theme and was so warm and inviting. Our big day was more than I could have ever asked for. Everything was perfect. I would say that the bridal sweet is the cutest little "she-shed" ever. I walked in and I felt like I was in a real life Barbie dream house. The mirrors and the glitz and glam was a perfect place for a bride and her girls to get ready. The bridal suite is a perfect distance from the manor and also the barn option for the ceremony. I was able to say warm in the bridal suite and watch all my guests as they arrived, what an amazing moment for me as a bride. The grooms suite, perfect! Perfect for the groom and his guys to get ready and party. The bar was an amazing little detail that allowed our guys serve up some drinks! The grounds of the manor have so many beautiful options for a photo op. The grounds were so well kept! Erika, our day of coordinator, incredible. She handled soooooo many things for me. Erika took all of my decorations at our rehearsal day and made sure everything got to its precise spot on our special day. She was so transparent and answered all my questions in such a timely manor. I knew she was on it every second of the days leading up to the wedding. Hands down, Erika was the reason I was able to stay sane for the entire day. She did not skip a beat. Erika was ready for every little thing and had a solution for all my worries. Not only did she run our night but she did it without me even having to question what was going to come next, she was one step ahead of me at all times. God bless her, she even cleaned up all of our stuff and made sure we didn't forget anything. I swear I will always think of her when I think of our wedding and how seamless it was. Side note, this venue works so well with Dean and Brown catering, Harford Dj (DJ RUSS!!), and Floral Expressions by Jennifer. I was so impressed with how well they all work together. I mean they are like a big family. Other things, soo much parking, close to down town belair and tucked away so its very private. 1,000 % recommend!!!!!!! You cannot go wrong! -

Magical Night To Remember
My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Rockfield Manor! This venue was the best option for us! The manor was cozy and warm that made you feel like home. The barn was beyond perfect for our ceremony and was just beautiful! The manor itself and the barn were perfect but what sold us on getting married here was Erika!
Erika is so down to earth, calm, sweet, organized and just beyond easy to work with! Our wedding wouldn’t have been so amazing if it weren’t for her! I do not think she gets enough credit for the difference that she makes! Everything went so smoothly because of her and there are not enough words to express the gratitude and appreciation we both feel for her! She was a god send! -

Highly recommend booking your big day at Rockfield manor! Thank you to the excellent staff; it’s a beautiful location and perfect for a fall wedding, not to mention a seriously great value. We got married here on October 14, 2022, on a Friday. We had 60 guests, so a reasonably small wedding. We booked in February of 2022; they had an opening from a cancelation. This venue very comfortably fits all 60 guests! It was a sunny day, and the leaves had started to turn; it was so beautiful. The bridal and groom suite is fantastic; that’s a big highlight of the day since you spend a reasonable amount of time there. The grounds are stunning in the fall; you can’t ask for a better backdrop for all your photos. The only concern I had was the road noise, and it also was the same day as the Backyard Bash in Bel Air, but there was little to no noise travel that I could notice. It is a surprisingly quiet location considering its proximity to noise! We added two extra hours to our rental time at the beginning of our time slot for hair and makeup, this was essential, or else we would not have had time, and I didn’t have a wedding party. It was just the mothers and me. If you have a wedding party getting professional hair and makeup, you should add extra time to your rental hours.
We worked with Erika & Kellee, and Erika was our Day of Coordinator; they were great and helpful! We added the Day of Coordinator to our package, and it was worth it for the peace of mind with them handling decor and tear down, as well as just making sure everyone is where they are supposed to be while you’re taking lots of photos! Erika was fantastic, helping us through the process and ensuring all the things were set and ready to go for the day. -

The upkeep of the venue was also amazing. we also used the day of planner at on and Erika and Amy were amazing. I couldn’t have asked for any better service for my wedding day. Everything went so smoothly and everyone enjoyed everything. We’ve gotten so many compliments that our wedding was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. -

Amazing staff
I worked specifically with Kelle and Stephanie and they took care of me. Answered any questions I had with a very quick response. I recommend this location to my cousin and I would to anyone else looking to get married. It is a beautiful venue with amazing workers. I am so grateful for them. Stephanie was my day of coordinator and she made my dream wedding come true with the decor and everything she did . Highly recommend. -

Our wedding was perfect and having it at Rockfield Manor was 10000% part of it. Not only was it affordable, but they didn’t add any extra charges for things like tables & chairs, use of the on-site facilities, etc. The grounds are stunning & well-kept, our photos on the ground look like we were in an enchanted forest. The staff were absolutely wonderful and made sure our vision came to life. I absolutely recommend adding on the day of coordinator services; Erika & Stephanie perfected every detail of set-up & were right there to trouble-shoot from re-working the floor plan to running to get my veil when I realized I forgot it in the bridal cottage, to even bustling my dress. My only recommendation would be to allow earlier access to the bridal suite, we only had 2 hours, so I just wish I had a bit more time to relax. Other than that, our day was perfect! -

BEST wedding venue ever!!! We had our wedding this past weekend and everything was amazing. The venue is absolutely beautiful (so if you're DIY or minimally decorating it's perfect because the venue is already so gorgeous). Erika, Stephanie, and Kellee were so helpful and nice throughout our entire wedding and the planning process. I'd recommend this venue for anyone! We had lots of rain but it was still the best and Rockfield had a backup plan ready. Thank you ladies for the best wedding day :) -

Best day EVER!
Rockfield was truly perfect. We wanted a relaxed, but beautiful setting for our wedding and our expectations were beyond met. We stumbled upon Rockfield online and were drawn to the property mostly for the barn. Rockfield was the one and only venue we looked at for our wedding after realizing they were booked to capacity for the wedding season, besides our date. Every interaction we had with staff was met with kindness and professionalism and no question went unanswered. Their desire to make our day perfect was felt every time we spoke with or met with them. On the day of our wedding the staff was in constant, but not an annoying amount of communication with us. Whenever we needed help the team was there to assist. If you are looking for a cozy/comfortable but beautiful setting for your wedding I would highly recommend Rockfield Manor. -

Beautiful place, excellent experience!
The place is beautiful and the staff are extremely helpful and hard working. Our day of coordinator, Erika, was absolutely amazing She was kind enough to help out with getting the decorations put in place the morning of the wedding and cleaned up after making my life sooo much easier! She helped deal with my vendors and keeping things on track. My only complaint is that the restrooms were not clean the day of our event although, once I advised the staff, they were all over it and had it quickly taken care of. They definitely worked very hard to make my daughter's wedding seamless, gorgeous and stress free for us. -

The staff at RFM were absolutely fantastic. We used Erika who is the on staff day of coordinator, she truly made our day flawless! The grounds were beautiful, and the staff made sure that everything ran smoothly. So thankful for such an amazing venue. Erika's coordinating made it easy for us to take a deep breath on the wedding day rather than rush around to figure little details out, and at the end of the night all of our decor was packed up at the front ready to leave with us. All in all, if you're thinking about having your event here, do it! You won't regret it. -

Best Wedding Venue Ever
This 100 year old house is very well-maintained (indoors & outdoors) and offers a timeless setting to have your special event. The Rockfield has vintage charm, luscious garden views, and a rustic barn - where else can you find all of these features at one venue? We were looking for a unique venue that offered an outdoor option but also still had indoor space. The main area for a ceremony is in their beautiful garden or there is also a barn available as your main ceremony site or for a rain plan. There is also an adorable bridal cottage on site as well as a groom’s suite upstairs. Such great spaces to have that we really enjoyed!
A day-of-event coordinator package is also offered here, which we would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who picks this venue. They do not require you to purchase this option and give you plenty of time to decide if you’d like to add on the feature. Regardless, all of their staff were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our entire planning process. Kellee answered all of our questions within 24 hours and was always very kind. Once we decided to add on the day of coordinator package, Erika took charge of helping us for our event. She did a fantastic job staying in communication with us and getting all necessary information to make sure our day ran smoothly. All staff listened to what we wanted and made sure the day was exactly as we had hoped. The day of coordinator package was some of the best money we spent on our overall wedding.
The only piece of advice we would give to future couples would be to be keep your guest list around 110 or so and to be aware of the potential weather around your date as you do eat dinner outside under the tent here. We picked the end of April and ended up having to put a few of the sides of the tent down to keep it comfortable and prevent the few drops of rain from landing on guests. It passed and ended up being no big deal.
The tent is temperature controlled which really helped. Erika and Kellee did a great job putting the sides down and then pulling them back up after the sprinkle passed! For the guest list size, we had to roll away 3 of the tables after dinner to clear room for the dance floor with 110 guests. The staff did a great job making this very seamless. Anymore guests at our event would have made it feel a little crammed under the tent.
Planning a wedding during COVID had its challenging moments, but every interaction with the Rockfield was a positive one. We would recommend this venue to anyone over and over again. We are so grateful to have found them and you should be too! Book them right away! -

Absolutely amazing

I'm a little late, but better late than never!
Our wedding was a dream come true. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL. The staff is incredible along with all the vendors they suggested. My father passed away a few days before looking for this venue and they were so patient with me and even during my day they made sure to check on me and make sure I was doing OK (like how sweet is that?!). We purchased the "day of" coordination and it was the best decision we made. Erikka, Eilean & Kellee was so helpful and sweet. I will never forget the day for the rest of my life! -

I recently had my ceremony/reception at Rockfield Manor and it was amazing!!! Rockfield has such a beautiful garden and it is so well kept. All of the staff was so kind, especially Kellee she made sure everything was perfect for our special day. We were concerned due to Covid, however; while precautions were in place for our safety the staff did not make us feel pressured in any kind of way.

The Absolute Perfect Venue
I got married at Rockfield Manor on August 16th, 2020. My husband and I were originally going to get married somewhere else, but it fell through due to COVID-19. They accepted my guest count of 120 people (I ended up with about 75 guests at the end). Not only were they accommodating of me last minute (less than two months before my wedding date), but they accepted my caterer who wasn't on their approved wedding list and my bounce house. They were beyond professional, caring, and made my day absolutely perfect! The cherry on top was that it was cheaper than my original venue and soooo much more beautiful. If you are looking for a gorgeous, reasonably-priced venue that can fit a relatively large guest count, look no further than Rockfield Manor. You won't regret it.Rockfield Manor's reply:

Rockfield Manor was the perfect venue for us. We viewed a few other local venues, but Rockfield won by a long shot. The Manor is gorgeous as well as the grounds. I loved having the bridal cottage to spend the day in getting ready. Kellee was so helpful and the whole day perfectly. My wife and I recently got married at Rockfield Manor. Once we toured the venue my wife fell in love with the place. It was in our price range and we went ahead and booked it. The staff was very helpful with questions that we had and helped gear us in the right direction when we needed help with stuff. All of our guest really liked the venue and enjoyed the evening. -

If your looking for the PERFECT wedding venue look no further. First, the staff at Rockfield is incredible to work with, they make it so easy. Kellee and Ericka made my day and all events leading up to so stress free. From the massive bridal suite, the versatility of having the ceremony in three different locations on the property (choose the barn!), and the scenery for pictures, I promise this venue will not disappoint. -

Beautiful place to be married
We chose Rockfield Manor for our daughter's wedding venue for a few reasons. First, it is a beautiful place. The staff, under Kellee's leadership, keeps the Manor and its grounds in tip-top shape. The recently completed Bridal Cottage could not be more adorable and our daughter and her bridesmaids loved hanging out there before the wedding ceremony and getting dressed together. It will be a special memory for sure. Second, the venue is an incredible value! Not only do you get the use of the Manor and its gardens, but Rockfield also provides you with white tables and chairs. Not rickety old chairs----nice chairs! That really helps on a wedding budget. Lastly, Kellee was very welcoming to us when we first visited the venue. She was responsive to us during the whole planning experience. We had a walk through with our caterer about two weeks before the wedding. All our questions were answered and we had no surprises on the wedding day---everything went smoothly as planned. Even though we had a rain storm go through after the ceremony, Kellee's staff was professional and well prepared and made a few adjustments. We highly recommend checking out Rockfield Manor---you will not be disappointed. -

Jessica Sent on 11/05/2017I can't say enough good things about Rockfield Manor. We wanted a beautiful, affordable, venue for a small wedding party and we got that and more. Kellee, who is the Director of Operations, was more than accommadating and wonderful throughout the whole process. She was so flexible with rehearsal times and was so helpful during the wedding itself. We got married in the garden, but they do have 2 other locations for a ceremony (the Barn and the Evergreen Terrace), which are both gorgeous, and their reception space is on point. They have a great water fountain and new patio with a tent that has fans and heaters, and beautiful string lights. You will be set here in any weather. We wish we had another event to host so we could party at Rockfield Manor again! Honestly, everything was amazing here. I had came into a jam with finding a venue with short planning time and when i seen rockfield manor online and seen the price, i knew it is what i want for my wedding. The rockfield manor is flexible and an amazing venue for the price... The bridal suite is gorgeous and I was able to watch my guest arrive. I was able to have my outdoor dream wedding with their wonderful view of the background. Jane's responses were very quick and she is wonderful with any assistance. -

Lauren Sent on 06/02/2010Rockfield was beautiful and the management is fantastic. For what you pay, you get a great location. Whether you want to be indoors or out, you can't go wrong. There are many options for the inside small tables (for your cake, place cards, etc) so you can really customize. The bride's room (for getting dressed) is huge and there is a great mirror. They let me bring my dog (she was my ring bearer) and that was so cool. Jane is awesome to work with, always very patient (I asked the same questions over and over) and made great reccomendations on vendors. Even if you don't go with Rockfield Manor, review their vendor list if you're planning a Harford County wedding. We got married on 5/15 and the grounds were immaculate and the flowers had been planted and the place looked wonderful. -

Perfection
Everyone was amazing! If I had any questions leading up to the day I could email or text any of the staff and receive a same day or immediate response. We added the day of coordinator and I can not say enough positive things about her! She made everything so smooth. I was specifically impressed with how she organized and directed the rehearsal! I have been in a few weddings where rehearsals are messy and confusing. She directed and when needed (yelled nicely at the groomsmen) putting all my anxiety at ease and allowed me to be more in the moment as the bride. 10/10 would recommend! -

The barn is where we got married and it was absolutely amazing. Wonderful staff wonderful people to work with and the grounds are spectacular. There were a few details that probably should have been ironed out long before, but there was nothing that we could do about it because of the amount of people we had. -

We wanted to love Rockfield, and we did until things started to not go their way. But when Covid-19 hit, everything changed. We didn't want to have a wedding were everyone was wearing face masks and social distancing would be enforced by the Rockfield staff. We also didn't feel right asking people to gather in large amounts when it is incredibly unwise to do so at this time. When we tried to cancel our wedding with Rockfield, Kellee became extremely rude and flat out refused to believe that Rockfield was breaking the contract or any rules enforced by the state. Any reasonable person can see that the contract was broken by Rockfield mandating the use of face masks and social distancing. We didn't agree to that. We wanted to believe that Rockfield cared about their clients and not just their pocket, but when Covid-19 hit they immediately pulled the "you signed a contract" non-sense and want us to still hold our wedding with them even though it is incredibly unsafe to do so. Rockfield was encouraging us to hold a large event and have a large gathering, which as everyone in the Untied States knows that is extremely frowned upon right now. They claimed that when we signed the contract we said only 50 people, but when I updated them on the guest count of over 100, they still encouraged us to have a large gathering. Rockfield does not care about their community or their clients, they only care about their pocket. Rockfield is totally okay with spreading the virus even further and even encourages large gathering and wants to help facilitate them. I would urge you to consider a different location that cares more about the health and well being of their community and less about their pockets.
