Absolutely loved!!

This company is excellent! Very professional and they helped us figure out every single detail of our wedding day timeline and they were able to squeeze in all the requirements from our photographers and perfectly coordinated the day with our venue. The uplighting was gorgeous and they kept in touch throughout the reception to see if we needed anything so that we wouldn't feel rushed if we got off schedule. Definitely recommend, they were a pleasure to work with.

Fantastic DJ

I cannot day enough positive things about Rock & Roll Express DJ Company. They amped up the entertainment at my wedding reception ensuring everyone was having a fantastic time. The DJ asked when slight changes needed to be made or if we were ready/needed more time to do other things first. If I need a DJ in the future, I will consider Rock & Roll Express first!

Jonathon did an amazing job he did both our ceremony and our reception. From day one of talking to him I new our wedding was in good hands. We did not have much to do at all because he did it all for us.

Ceremony: They had some problems with there music system was trying to reboot or something while the bridesmaids were walking down the aisle so that was a little disappointing but other than the music glitch the ceremony itself was put together very well.

Reception: Jonathon did very well playing a variety of music but making it flow at the same time. We do not have one bad thing to say for the reception he kept us on time and if he had any questions he just asked rather than just assuming he knew the answer! We would definitely recommend him!

Jon was our entertainer and he was amazing throughout the entire process leading up to the day-of! He made sure to check with us about what was set to happen next on the itinerary, to make sure we were ready. He was very involved with our guests and getting them out on the dance floor. Plus our guests kept coming up to us at the reception to tell us how amazing our DJ was & how great the music choices were! Hands down will go with them again for any future events & will always recommend!!

If you're reading this, stop what you're doing and book Rock & Roll Express. Seriously, don't even research anyone else. The entire team was awesome/super easy to work with throughout the whole process -- from answering questions during our initial research process to coordinating/managing everything on our wedding day. They were simultaneously professional and super fun. We even extended our reception half hour because the dance floor was still so packed when it was supposed to end, and we're still getting compliments on how fun the night was. I highly, highly recommend Rock & Roll Express. (Note: We used them for our ceremony too -- not much more expensive, and they did a great job there too.)

Our friend had a wedding not to long ago and we were very impressed with the people they had hired. Jon is an amazing DJ He knows how to get the crowd out to dance, and have an good time. Also the photographer they had Angile was AMAZING. She seemed to have such a good soul she was very helpful with the bride and groom making sure she captured their fun outgoing personalities in their pictures. Needless to say I'm getting married in October 2017 and they're the people we plan on going to. Keep up the great work!

Do you want your reception to ROCK?? Then select Rock and Roll Express as your wedding/ wedding reception entertainment! They just ROCKED my wedding on 8/6/2016!! The day was amazing from their all day photography to the uplighting, photobooth and of course the outstanding entertainment(music) they provided to my guests!
The Attendant got our guests involved and up and moving!! They kept us on schedule through our busy evening !
I couldn't say enough nice things about this company ! They truly ROCKED my Wedding !

Absolutely recommend Rock and Roll Express. They made sure we didn't have to worry about anything on our day; they told us when we needed to be everywhere. They played fun music based on the mood on the dance floor and really got the guests excited. When we needed to adjust the schedule they were right there ready to go. The photo booth was fun for the guests and we loved going through the book of photos when we got home. They made our reception amazing; we had tons of people telling us our wedding was one of the best they've ever been to. Thank you guys so much!! They really helped to make our wedding day worry free! We used their dj service and the photo booth and both were great. Our dj kept the party going all night and people on the dance floor. He also did the music for our ceremony and that was perfect. The photo booth is super fun and we have so many hilarious pics from it with all our family and friends!

My husband and I got engaged a month before he was in a wedding. After the last couple of weddings we went to, we weren't thinking a lot of DJs and their abilities. Then this one started his trade. The music/energy/fun was intense. We knew right then that we had to have this guy as our DJ.

We met with Jeff soon after. By the end of the meeting, we were ready to put money down.

The selling points were these:
- Every DJ Jeff has with him was trained by him to do it his way. No matter which DJ we got the day of our wedding would be enough like Jeff to keep the party hopping.

- They had a photobooth and people/props of their own to run it. I didn't have to do anything special with it, they had it all covered. They even took requests on the props to bring. And we got an album full of friends and family.

- They had an uplighting package that could be as big or little as I wanted. They have fog machines, too.

- Even though I had already found my photographers, they had a pretty decent photography package. Of course, you got multi pack rates, too.

- They offered up suggestions to help me get through the picking of songs. They also listened and helped with the eclectic way we wanted our wedding to move.

- The office team practically wrote out an itinerary for the wedding and we were able to have the photographer and caterer right on track with everything.

When we got to the wedding day, we got EXACTLY what we wanted. Our DJ ran everything with ease. An example was when the DJ opened up the dance floor with a song that could have been very successful elsewhere, but didn't get anyone on the floor, he immediately stopped the song, said he must have started out with the wrong song and went directly into another that packed the floor. And there were people dancing all evening long.

It was truly a magical night due to Rock & Roll Express being the entertainment. I would, and have, recommended this company to other brides.

They are truly a one stop service that can do everything except cook the food. Very professional and organized that will greatly help reduce your "wedding stress". They had great sound equipment for both the outdoor ceremony and the reception hall. I would highly recommend them as they helped us have a great wedding and reception.

Jon was 100% in tune with everything we needed and wanted. I would highly recommend him as you DJ! Our photographer, Angile was also amazing, and she was super efficient and had such a wonderful attitude. And Jeff was pretty awesome as well with taking all the worry off of our shoulders. THEY ARE AMAZING!! We booked a pretty extensive package with them including; DJ, Photo-booth, Up-lighting, Name in lights, ceiling tulle, and a back drop for the head table. They room was beautiful. I asked for the back drop for the head table two days prior to the wedding and I got a, "No problem." Coming wedding day it was gorgeous.

Their DJ service alone would sell it over again for me. Kevin was AMAZING!!!!! I had some issues with my wedding party changing last minute and he handled it without even batting and eye. He played music that had people on the dance floor from the beginning of the reception until the end, he even played an extra song for my insistent (and mildly intoxicated) guests. He took requests without issue. He's very easy on the eyes which caused so perhaps unwanted attention/interests from my bridesmaids and female guests, which he handled extremely professionally. Even though my husband and I had things to do he was not pushy or annoying about it. If you get the DJ service I would request Kevin!!

The photo booth staff had people in the photo booth all night and our scrap book was hilarious. I worked coordinating with Jonathan and he was sooooo helpful. I was so scatter-brained at the end trying to finalize things from NC, and he handled everything by e-mail. Jeff handled my ceiling tulle and last minute back-drop and he was fair in pricing. I couldn't be happier with this service. I couldn't imagine anyone better in the area. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ROCKING OUR WEDDING!!! I will definitely be recommending you to anyone getting married in the area!!!

Amazing entertainment AND photography! There truly is no one comparable to Rock and Roll Express in the Northwest Ohio area. Jeff was incredible to work with and made the planning process super easy. He offered us a package deal for entertainment, lighting and photography that was affordable. I told him I wanted a blackjack table, and he didn't have one, but he made it happen for me - it was a huge hit at the reception! The DJ entertainment was amazing, but I knew it would be. Our guests were generally an older group and I couldn't believe how much people were dancing. The total room uplighting completely transformed the otherwise dull banquet hall. The biggest surprise was how amazing Angile, our photographer, was. She made us feel comfortable and she was uber organized. She got us through our formals in under 20 minutes! I can not say enough about how our photos turned out, everyone I know raves about them! I will forever be appreciative of Angile for her expertise in capturing the most amazing day of our lives. If you are getting married in the Sandusky area, you do not need to look any further than Rock and Roll Express. They will make your special day absolutely unforgettable!

To say that Jeff and his company, Rock & Roll Express, are amazing is an understatement. My husband and I will never be able to thank them enough for everything they did for us. From the videography, to the photo booth, to the DJ service itself, everything was astounding. I got so many compliments from all of my guests. Jeff is also very professional and listened to everything we wanted. Boy did he deliver! I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders knowing that they were in charge of my reception. Jeff and his team were AMAZING! Jeff was so incredibly easy to work with, extremely responsive, and did a great job of getting everyone in the dance floor and keeping them entertained. So many people walked up to me at the wedding to tell me we had the best DJ and they were very impressed with him. He also did our lighting and did an amazing job with the twinkle lights at the tent and lighting outside. I initially met Jeff from Rock & Roll Express at the very first bridal show I attended almost a year before my wedding. After talking with him for several minutes, I had made up my mind that I wanted Rock & Roll Express for our wedding. Throughout the planning process, they answered my questions, met with me to coordinate every detail, and made our vision a reality. I love all kinds of music, so I made an extensive list with my fiance (now my husband :) ) with a variety of songs we would like to hear. Most importantly we love to dance! So, we wanted our guests to have a good time and have music they could all dance to, and Rock & Roll Express honored our list of songs without hesitation. They gave us direction when we were unsure, and they also provided amazing lighting, extra pictures (which Jeff sent me a copy of immediately when I requested them months after the wedding because they were so good), and made sure the reception ran smoothly-- exactly as we had planned. Our guests (and my husband and I) loved the music, and the dance floor was filled all night. My husband and I got incredible feedback about our reception, and it would not have been possible without Rock & Roll Express. I highly recommend their services!

Rock N Roll Express did a FANTASTIC job with everything for our wedding reception! They provided DJ and photo booth services and uplighting throughout the reception hall. The most important thing to my husband and I was finding someone that could get our guests out of their seats and onto the dance floor. Jeff did this better than we could have ever expected! We are still receiving compliments months later from friends and family about how much fun they had. He also managed the schedule for our whole evening and made sure we had time for all the events (father-daughter & mother-son dances, cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss, etc.) which was incredibly helpful! BUT the most important thing Jeff did to impress us was the little details he surprised us with and incorporated into our evening. My husband and I are big fans of the show How I Met Your Mother and Jeff worked in some songs and elements from the show throughout the evening that we really appreciated. The great job Jeff and his staff did with the personal touches he included just for us made a lasting impression that we will remember forever. We highly recommend Rock N Roll Express for anyone hosting an event!!!

This company is beyond amazing at what they do. My wedding was almost a year ago now and to this day people still compliment me on how much fun they had dancing the night away. The dance floor was ALWAYS full. They also did my up lighting and "name in lights" on the dance floor and it was simply beautiful. I would hands down recommend this company and Jeff to anyone seeking a DJ for any event. I could never thank them enough for making our day so special.

We contracted with Rock & Roll Express for DJ, Photo Booth & Up-Lighting of our Wedding Reception; Jeff & his Coordination Staff were wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process all the way up to & through our wedding day! They were very considerate of some difficult family situations we had arise, leading up to the wedding & had great suggestions & gave wonderful guidance. The day of the wedding our DJ & his Team were very friendly & did an AMAZING job at helping us keep our dance floor FULL THE ENTIRE EVENING!!! The photo-booth was a total hit & I would strongly suggest adding this feature, to anyone planning an event!!! Not only did our Guests have a blast with it, but Rock & Roll provided us with an album of all of the pictures taken throughout the evening which is a great keepsake in general, but this was something we received at the end of the reception night, & we were able to take it with us on our Honeymoon :-) The up-lighting Rock & Roll provided was above & beyond anything I could have expected; I have no other words for it other than GEORGOUS!!!! A HUGE THANK YOU to Jeff & his Team!!!!!! Our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without their dedication & hard work!!!

We hired Rock & Roll Express for DJ services, photo booth and lighting. Jeff was absolutely AMAZING! He was always available when we had questions and was very prompt at getting back with us whether it was a phone call or email. He was very personable and we felt comfortable calling him to ask dumb questions. We were never made to feel like just another client to him. He really listened to us and really took his time to get to know us. We became good friends throughout the process and remain close to this day. At our reception, he kept our party going all night long. People were asking us both during and after our reception who he was because he was so great. In fact, a few people went and hired his company for their weddings very shortly after they attended ours. He and his staff were very professional and made things so fun. He even gave out fun party favors (glow sticks, funny glasses, etc.) during the reception to make it even better. Their photo booth was incredible. Not only did they have tons of accessories to use while in it, the photos themselves came out awesome. Jeff even put together an album of every photo that was shot in the booth and gave it to us later. The ambient lighting really made our reception gorgeous and if you have a little extra left in your budget, go for it! It really made the venue pop. There's not enough great things I can say about Jeff and his team. Hiring Rock & Roll Express was one of if not the best decision we made for our wedding.

I am so glad that we went with Rock and Roll Express for our wedding reception! Jeff and his team were very professional and very welcoming when we would meet with them to figure out everything. They helped us with all the songs and we came up with the perfect song list! Everyone at the reception told us how much fun they had! We also had the up lighting and it made the reception look amazing! Our DJ was very professional and knew what he was doing! I would definitely recommend them to anyone! We had the best time with Rock n' Roll Express - we didn't want the DJ to leave! We even had last minute requests on entrance songs and he was ready to accommodate our requests! The evening flowed so smoothly and I had no worries because they took care of everything. I wish I could have this night over & over again. Rock & Roll Express did a fantastic job keeping our guests dancing all night! They were very helpful with planning the reception down to the minute and suggested ideas we hadn't thought of. Our DJ was very professional throughout the planning and reception and was quick to learn what our guests wanted to hear. RARE also provided beautiful uplighting that completely transformed the room. The best part though was that their pricing is very comparable with other DJ services in the area. I would recommend RARE to anyone!

We used Rock & Roll Express for our wedding, and we are so glad that we did. Jeff and his team could not have made it any easier. My husband and I live out of state (I am originally from Ohio.) He was flexible and was able to meet with us when we were in town. On the day of the wedding there was a mistake in the time (my fault) but he was so flexible and worked with the time of our reception. Through out the reception he made sure that our guest were involved. He was great with the kids and made sure they did not get bored either. Overall my guest to this day tell me that our wedding was one of the best that they have ever been too. They ask us if we could renew our vows every year, but the only thing we couldn't change was our DJ. They truly helped make it one of the most special days of our lives. I would recommend them highly!

I tell everyone about Rock and Roll Express. It was because of their services that my husband and I had the best day of our lives. In fact, guests are still talking about all the fun they had at our wedding. I believe this is due to hiring Rock and Roll Express. One of the highlights and surprise was the fact that we received a copy of the pictures from the photo booth the night of our wedding. We were able to re-live the reception all over again. The photobook was such a great gift, especially since it can take weeks or months to see photos from the wedding. From Rock and Roll Express we purchase the cake uplighting, ceremony services, DJ service, fog machine for the dance floor, uplighting for the ceremony and reception. They assisted with planning the ceremony and reception timeline which also offered additional peace-of-mind. Despite everyone telling me not to fret if something goes wrong, nothing did because of all the support. Thank you Rock and Roll Express.

Rock and Roll Express made preparing the music for our wedding super easy! First they sent us a book to fill out that had answers to all of our questions as well as suggestions for our big day. Next they actually sat down with us to go over every detail i.e. What we wanted, what we didn't want, time lines, pronunciation of everyone's names, etc. They thought of so many things we didn't! As far as the day of our wedding, I arrived to the venue to find the up lighting they did looking outstanding and our DJ kept people on the dance floor all night. He was so much fun! I would recommend Rock and Roll Express to anyone needing a DJ, up-lighting or photobooth! You won't be disappointed!

Rock & Roll Express was fantastic! I got their lighting package and it completely transformed our venue. I also got the photo booth which really added a special element to our wedding and was a fantastic guest book. That was one of the most fun things I did during our reception. While planning our wedding & reception we knew that who we chose to be our DJ/entertainer was a top priority! It's obvious that fantastic music, good energy, & keeping things fun is an absolute must for a successful reception and Rock & Roll Express did all of those! They had a meeting with us a week or so before our wedding to set all of our requested songs and were very thorough in making sure our wedding was everything that we wanted. They were more than willing to offer suggestions or advice about things that we were unsure of. We also hired them for our ceremony music which was definitely worth it! Jeff & his team are without a doubt necessary to make your wedding day perfect. I didn't have to worry about any of the little details because his team was already on top of it. Having someone to worry about all of those little things for you gives you that extra time to spend with your family & friends. Rock & Roll Express is AMAZING!! We met with a couple different DJs before meeting with Jeff. We loved him from the first moment. He was very sincere and really cared about us and our big day. Throughout the entire process, he was very professional, fun and so helpful. He guided us without being pushy and always respected our wishes. As we live several hours away, office visits were difficult for us so we relied on phone and email. Calls were always very friendly and emails were responed to almost immediately. When it came time for the reception, Jeff was not our DJ but promised us an awesome time and that is what we had. I have actually been looking forward to writing this review! Jeff and his team at Rock & Roll Express were the BEST decision we could have made when we started hiring vendors. Jeff is so wonderful, so friendly and upbeat, and really helped not only make us more excited, but also put us at ease. From the time I spoke with him on the phone, to actually meeting him in person and him knowing exactly who I was, I knew we would love him! When we met with him at his office and they had a special sign for us, and champagne (my favorite) I was completely impressed. That is how Jeff and his team works. They make you feel SPECIAL, and like you are the only Bride in the world! Obviously I know I was not, and they had tons of other meetings and weddings to deal with, but he never made me feel like I wasn't important or his #1 priority. I really wanted Jeff as our DJ (because we just love him so much) but I am so happy that paired us with Scott. He was SO wonderful. Professional and fun, he did an amazing job all night. I had many requests and announcements I wanted made, and he did it without hesitation. Our guests got a little antsy waiting for us the finish our pictures and left where they were supposed to be for our announcement, and Scott handled it all. He really took away a lot of stress for me that day. RARE also did our lighting in the wine cellar and tent for us and it looked amazing! People kept commenting on how great everything looked, and we got a truly spectacular picture in the Wine cellar that looks so great with the lighting they provided! And speaking of photography, Jeff hooked us up with an AMAZING photographer. She captured every shot I really wanted and provided us with tons of images we absolutely cherish. Is there anything this company can't do?!? We love you guys and want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything you did for our wedding day!!!!

One of the most important things you can get for your wedding is an AWESOME DJ to make sure your guests enjoy their night. Rock & Roll DJ was amazing and did even better than I was hoping! My guests still talk about how good they were! They are very professional and talk to you to find out exactly what songs you want, how to pronounce everyone's name, etc. They did our ceremony music as well and it turned out great. They got all of the guests participating and had things such as t-shirts, glasses, and glow sticks to hand out. They did a bit of our lighting, but best of all they had a photo booth! It came with props, extra prints, and a guestbook that guests could sign and paste their photos in! So many great memories were created for us by these guys!! I would recommend them to anyone!!!

Rock & Roll express did a great job with our wedding! We used them as a DJ but also purchased their photo booth. I would highly recommend the Photo Booth! The guests loved it and it was so fun to look at all the pictures! The music selection was also great! They did a great job of helping up plan the order of our wedding reception and made us feel very comfortable with how the day was going to go. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Everything was amazing! We live 2 hours away from where the wedding was being held so there were many phone conferences all which were very timely and professional. The late hours on Thursday makes it possible for evening meetings.

Rock and Roll Express was amazing. As Jeff promised, they delivered. The lighting was fantastic, our guests LOVED the photo-booth and we loved looking through all of the pictures that were displayed in the scrapbook/guest book that we were able to get home. As the owner, Jeff does a phenomenal job returning phone calls and emails, making sure to put the couple at ease. Also, our event coordinator and photographer loved working with them because they were so organized and put together. Sounds like a 5/5, right? I want to explain why I gave them 4.5 on the professionalism and quality of service. SOOOOO many of our guests did not get into the photobooth--because they did not KNOW there was a photobooth. I wish the DJ that we had for our event (it was not Jeff), had made more than one announcement in the very beginning of the night to visit the photo booth. So many of our guests had said "I wish we would have known..." even a "last call" would have been nice. Also, the DJ had called my husband and his mom out for the "mother/son" dance to the song I had picked for the "father/daughter" dance. Again....not the END OF THE WORLD, but that is a pretty big aspect of the night. He was flexible and just played the song twice...but people were questioning the repeated song, and my husband/mother-in-law did not get their moment dancing to the song that they chose. Certainly not the end of the world, and I most certainly will recommend Jeff and Rock and Roll Express to anyone who asks!

We were very happy with Jeff. Phone calls were returned in a timely manner, name pronunciations were practiced and he seemed very organized. He played most songs that we had requested and tried his best to get our guests onto the dance floor. I'm indifferent to the fact that he brought glow sticks and threw them out (my nieces and nephews LOVED it). However, I am disappointed that his assistant did get a little pushy with taking photos. It is a nice addition to their website to have photos, but it wasn't a selling point for us. We hired a wonderful photographer and were not in need of a second. She attempted to get us to stop and pose for her during our first dance a couple of times and followed us out when we were leaving and trying to say goodbye to our guests before our honeymoon. Overall, I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ in the Sandusky area.

Rock & Roll Express provided the DJ, lighting, and photo booth for our reception. We hired them because they are, by far, the biggest wedding entertainment company in the area. They do their very best to make you feel like you're their most important client, despite the fact they're likely doing multiple weddings every weekend. However, there is a comforting sense of security knowing that they have replacement and backup systems available should something go amiss. They also provided us with an incredibly thorough booklet to fill out before the wedding so they knew who was in the wedding party, what songs were absolute must plays, what songs we did not want to hear, etc. Our guests loved the photo booth and the 2 attendants they had working it make sure everyone had a good time. The only frustration during the planning phase (which was pretty minor) was that they didn't seem to keen on working with our wedding planner, until I specifically told them to. Overall, they are a very professional company and they did a great job of making sure our guests had a great time at our reception.

Our experience with Rock & Roll Express was very positive. Our wedding was held on Put-in-Bay Island during a very severe storm. Unfortunately about 1/3 of our vendors got stuck on the mainland (including Rock & Roll Express) and were unable to get to the Island for the wedding on Saturday. However, their professionalism has been incredible and they even returned our delivery fee and wrote us a kind letter when returning the flashdrive of our slideshow. I am very appreciative of their responsiveness and great customer service!

The day before our wedding we were scheduled to come in at a certain time to 1058 to decorate. We sat outside 30 minutes because Jeff scheduled a tour and wouldn't answer his phone. When we got inside and started decorating he was still giving a tour to this couple. The day of our wedding our photographer who is a part of rock and roll express dj was horrible. I provided her with many photos of poses and ideas I wanted done for the pictures and she did none of them. She did not provide direction when it came to taking the pictures. And then we are on our way to the reception and we couldn't figure out how to get behind the building like they tell you to do. So we walk in and Jeff mentions how we are late and I said we had a hard time finding out how to get to the back of the building and he said "you didn't know where the building was?" Then we had a special dance that we were gunna do for our family in remembrance for a family member and Jeff played the song earlier during cake cutting and had to cut it off mid song. I immediately started crying and went to the bridal suit because nothing was going right. I'm in there collecting myself and all of a sudden our first dance song starts playing and we weren't told about it or even ready. The music we requested to be played at dinner was not played. We provided Jeff with a list of songs we wanted played throughout the night and he strayed from that and played a bunch of older music, I'm guessing from the 80's because I was not familiar with it. The whole day was a mess and I'm so disappointed I paid so much money for such terrible services.

This review is regarding photography. First, Taylor was a sweet girl. There was nothing against her personally. She was easy to talk to and overall had a good personality. Unfortunately, her skills, or simply camera quality was not great. We had requested that she’d come to the salon (which she did) and to the hotel were the men where. However, she did not take any photos of the men getting ready and watching soccer per husbands request. The quality of our photos were terrible. They were blurry and dark. The areas she suggested to stand for photos where not good. The photos turned out with shadows on our faces. There were many photos that I remember taking, that I never received. We was very underwhelming when we first received the photos. I cried immediately because none of the requested photos were on the disk. When I called Jeff about my concerns, he apologized and said he’d send me more photos. I received the photos, but of course that didn’t change the quality of the pictures. Some photos taken on iPhones came out better than my “professional” shots. Again, nothing against the photographer. The company needs to provide better cameras and further training! I would not suggest their photographers unless you want to be disappointed, too.

The worsts company, in my opinion. Jeff is a car salesman that will screw you over in a heartbeat. Make sure you read every detail in your contract. We hire them to do our reception with brought everything they had and all the packages 2 years ago. And we also change the location for the hall and let rock and roll know right away. And they said we have to sign a new contract for another 1500.00 just for them to come and do my reception. I told them no. Now they walk away with my money. No photo booth and smoke fog, and streamer cannon so mad. So I had to hire a new dj with 2 weeks left to our reception

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! RUDE & BAD SERVICES

My husband and I were very disappointed by the unprofessionalism, rudeness and lack of attention and ownership from Rock and Roll Express for our wedding and reception. The reason I want to write this review is that, I would not want another couple to experience what we went through.

We book a full range of services from them, most had mistakes involved. We gave very clear simple instructions both in writing and verbally which were not followed. To keep this post to the point, I mad a list below:

Initial Meeting:
- Rude: Jeff knew upfront that we would not be able to meet in person as we live overseas. He said it would not be a problem. Two weeks before our wedding as we were having a phone meeting he started yelling at me on the phone cause we didn’t meet in person. I started crying because of his aggressive behaviour.

-No Flexibility or grasp on Technology: I typed out his documentation into a Word Doc and emailed it to him since he only provided a hard copy. He got over upset by that and said I didn’t follow his instructions and its was not acceptable format. After the wedding, he admitted to not reading our instructions (It was obvious).

Music: We gave specific music to be play for the ceremony, dinner and reception all of which were wrong. When we approached the DJ about playing music that appealed more to our guest and we requested he got defensive and said he was going to play what he wanted.

Photobooth: They spelled our last name wrong on the photo booth graphic

Missing Services: We were supposed to have our names in lights on the dance floor and a fog machine for our first dance, but they were missed.

I understand we are all humans and make mistakes, but the amount of mistakes, and they're unprofessional is not acceptable. Also, Rock and Roll didn’t take any ownership of the mistakes or refund anything part of our fee.

We hired them because we had seen them before and knew they were good, unfortunately did not receive that experience. The sound from the DJ the whole night was horrible. Our guests were unable to hear the DJ while he talked which resulted in a majority of our guests missing out on all major events. We expressed our concern throughout the night and was told the equipment was not his and he was struggling with it. The night went on and the music selection was great, we were just upset that so many people came to us saying they missed things because they couldn't hear. We went in on Monday to tell him about how the night went and explained that things went well music wise but we wanted him to be aware that the DJ was less then enthusiastic and was not able to be heard. He said he would look into it and would hear back from him. We went back in to meet with him and he basically accused us of lying and that by the look of the pictures we had a good time. I told him yet again that the issue was not the music it was a matter of hearing our DJ. He the told us that from what he can tell they fulfilled their contract and that we were blowing the situation out of proportion. We were upset with the way he has handled the situation and with the apology, which was unsympathetic, came every excuse as to why they did nothing wrong. He continued to tell us he had never had a complaint before. We asked our guests on Facebook to let the DJ know what they thought good or bad, all comments ended up as complaints and he has since taken down his Facebook because of the negative reviews. He texted me and accused me of scripting the comments. He offered us a partial refund for our silence but the money was not worth it. Your wedding day is a once in a lifetime event and I don't want any bride to experience what I have. I know mistakes happen every day, but the way we have been treated after the wedding is inexcusable.
