Rehearsal dinner

The Rock Creek staff was easy to work with' especially Kayleigh. She helped make us feel taken care of from beginning to end. They were very flexible and accommodating with all of the moving parts involved with a wedding. Most importantly the service and food not only met my expectations they were exceeded.

Bridal Shower

I hosted my granddaughter’s bridal shower at Rock Creek this past Saturday. It was a wonderful experience. Kaleigh is the best event coordinator. The food was delicious! It couldn’t have been any better. All the staff contributed to make this a memorable occasion. Thanks to all of you. I can’t recommend Rock Creek enough. They deserve a 10 star rating.

Excellent Venue and Staff

I held my reception in the breezeway at Rock Creek. Kayleigh was excellent to work with and made the planning process so much easier. Due to working in the healthcare field during COVID and trying to plan my wedding, I stayed stressed. But the staff, Kayleigh, and chef worked with me every step of the way. Kayleigh had answers to things I didn't even think of to ask and provided so much flexibility with the execution of my vision day of. I would highly recommend them!

Everything was a breeze!

Kayleigh and the staff at Rock Creek made everything about planning our reception a breeze. I was essentially planning the whole wedding by myself, so her knowledge and help was essential in my vision coming to life. We stayed in frequent contact, and she patiently answered my million questions. The day of the event went so smoothly thanks to everyone there. I would highly recommend this venue for any major event.

Worked with us on everything and ensured we had a great day!

Rock Creek Golf Club and their event coordinator Kayleigh were so easy to work with! Kayleigh made the day run so smoothly and made sure we didn’t have to worry about anything! She really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great day!! Even amid Covid-19 pandemic they worked with us to make sure we and our guests felt comfortable while still adhering to the state guidelines for events.

It was an excellent experience from start to finish!

We chose Rock Creek as our wedding reception venue after researching several other options. Not only is it a great venue but the food is excellent too. Kayleigh is so energetic, easy to work with and very accommodating! She put our minds to ease on every aspect of the planning process! We 100% recommend Rock Creek and we would choose it all over again!

Rock Creek is the BEST

We had our wedding reception at Rock Creek and it was seriously the best decision ever. Kayleigh was SO helpful and was so on top of making sure everything ran smoothly for us. She was so happy to work with us to make anything we wanted happen, and she was very detailed in thinking for us to make sure we had everything we need. It was by far the best value of any other venues we looked at. 100% recommend Rock Creek for any event!!

Amazing Venue and services!

With only a month of a period I had for preparation of my wedding, Rock Creek provided the best services i need for the wedding. The event organize was very helpful and thoughtful. Organizer and the rock creek team was willing to help me and suggest things i needed. Whole venue area was big and good enough for my guests. I loved the FOOD also.

Could not have been more perfect!

Kayleigh and her staff were professional and very accommodating. We not only held the rehearsal dinner there, but also the bridesmaid luncheon. Food was EXCELLENT for both occasions and when we had to add one quest the night before, it was no problem. Kayleigh also does calligraphy, which helped out with some of the decorations and the last minute place card. Thank you all for making this special occasion extra special!

Wedding Rehearsal Dinner

Kayleigh and her team at Rock Creek went above and beyond to help make our rehearsal dinner amazing. The food was delicious, the servers were excellent, and Kayleigh was so friendly and prompt. She answered all of our questions and made the planning process stress free. She helped set up the decorations, serve food, and clean up. We cannot recommend Rock Creek enough.

Excellent Venue and Staff

Rock Creek is an absolutely beautiful venue! The food, staff, and friendly atmosphere made the whole wedding process amazing. I cannot say enough about the friendliness and professionalism displayed by their event coordinator, Kayleigh. She went above and beyond on to make sure myself, the bride, the groom, and all of our friends and family were well taken care of and had the best day of our lives. I cannot thank Rock Creek enough for such a wonderful experience!

They were easy and ready!

Very easy to work with! Responds back fast! Helped me to stay on top of things that I forgot about. The food was so good. Never felt rushed, felt at home with the workers. They were they to help where they could.

My Wedding

With my wedding being three weeks away and my previous venue not working out. I called Chad who met with me on the spot. I can’t express how big of a blessing he was. He helped TREMENDOUSLY. And stayed within my budget. My day couldn’t have been more perfect and I owe it all to Chad. None of it would have been possible without him. Thank you so much Chad! And rock creek. My wedding was BEAUTIFUL. And something I’ll remember forever.

We had our rehearsal dinner for my son/daughter-in-law at Rock Creek with a plated dinner for 83 guests. The staff was professional, courteous and very helpful throughout the entire process. The food (filet/shrimp) was very good and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Everything was set up as I had requested and looked beautiful. I would highly recommend Rock Creek!

This venue has it all. We used the breezeway, main dining room, and private dining room. Our guests raved about the amazing food. The entire staff was extremely helpful and nice. It was a perfect day and night, and the venue provided MANY outdoor photo opportunities.

My husband and I chose Rock Creek for both an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception venue. We can say without a doubt that Rock Creek was perfect for our needs and contributed toward creating the happiest and most perfect weekend of our lives. We held the ceremony on the driving range facing the hills, and they took care of setting up and providing the seating. For the reception, our 80ish guests filled the main dining room of the clubhouse comfortably. We chose the second tier buffet choices, and the food was AMAZING as well as decently priced. We were expecting good food and service but were really blown away by the quality and the amazing attention provided by the staff the day of. The main dining room was also conducive to hosting our band!

Rock Creek was such a great place to have our reception. We had the main dining room and the breezeway and it was perfect!! Spacious and pretty! The food was delicious and all of our guests have complimented it. Ashlee, the event coordinator who helped me, was awesome as well. She was always available when I needed her, was flexible, and was very quick with her responses via email. I would highly recommend Rock Creek to any bride!

I absolutely recommend Rock Creek to anyone look for a wedding venue! They did a fabulous job with my wedding. They do everything there from chairs to tables, setup, food, and bar! It took so much of the normal wedding stress off my shoulders. Not to mention their prices are so affordable! Affordable pricing but a 5 star venue on beautiful golf course, how could you choose anywhere else?! Also, staff was so nice and helpful and the food was AMAZING! It was a perfect day and I wouldn't change a thing! Thank you Rock Creek!!!

The venue was in a great location and space was plentiful. The staff of Rock Creek as very attentive, professional and courteous to the guest. Overall the venue and staff exceeded my expectations, RC is a 5 star venue all the way around and the food was to die for, "The Southern" was fabulous!

Everything was great. People have continued to tell my mom, my sister and me how beautiful the place was, how great the food was and how nice everyone was. We absolutely made the right choice with using both the Dining Area as well as the Breezeway. We needed the space, but I know people enjoyed having both spaces as well. Thank you so much for all of your help. Rock Creek was an early decision for us to use for our Wedding Reception and no doubt the absolute perfect choice for us.

Planning a wedding in Alabama while living in New York is no easy feat. Ashley who is the sales manager could not have been more helpful and embodied the definition of flexible. Rock Creek is a beautiful location for weddings and once everything was setup it was absolutely stunning. The staff were amazing throughout the entire event, most especially friendly. The catering was phenomenal, friends and family are still talking about the dinner served, cocktail hour selections, and sliders at the end of the night; my favorite was the crawfish mash potatoes. If you want beautiful scenery, beautiful set-up, professional staff and an amazing experience than Rock Creek is the place. My only regret is that the evening went by so fast.

Great Event Director and food service

We had a Brenda lunch shower at Rock Creek. Kaleigh was wonderful to work with and absolutely responsive to any needs. The food was wonderful also, and a lovely location.

The best night ever!

Rock Creek helped us have a wonderful wedding reception. The staff was very accommodating to meeting everyone’s needs. The chef prepared an excellent meal that all guests were talking about. Kayleigh, their event planner, helped in every way possible to make my daughters reception the best ever!

We chose Rock Creek for my daughters wedding because she was wanting an outdoor location that had the capabilities of an indoor location if needed. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with them. Ashley and Melissa were great to work with and always professional. Rock Creek were very accommodating to anything we basically wanted to do for the wedding. You do have to remember the golf course is open for business. So if you go in knowing that then you won't be surprised to see golfers in there where your starting to decorated but they clear out in time for you to finish. Also, we could drop by anytime we wanted to measure or check something. At most venue places you have to make a reservation to do that. We had to split our decorating time because of a pre game party on Saturday. That was not a problem because they let us bring all our stuff in on Friday and store. The food was absolutely amazing! I am still getting asked who did the catering. I would highly recommend Rock Creek for a venue location for a wedding and really can't think them enough for all they did to help make that day special. I only gave a four start for value, it's really not any more than other location except you don't get to take left over food home. Which is probably fine because it had been sitting out for hours. Thank you Rock Creek and would be glad to talk to any future Brides if they have questions!

I have mixed feelings about leaving this review because our ceremony was beautiful and the driving range makes an excellent ceremony venue. There were some major hiccups leading up to our ceremony that I am not happy about and I really am not happy with how they were handled by Rock Creek. First of all, the "event coordinator" that you work with doesn't even show up on the day of your event nor did she give us the heads up that she wouldn't be there. I worked with her on the layout of the room, layout of our cocktail hour, food choices, etc so for her to not be present and driving the ship the day of was shocking to say the least. I walked though the reception site (we chose the breezeway) months before our wedding and pointed out things that needed to be cleaned up. The columns in the room were a hot mess, there were TONS of cob webs hanging from the ceiling, huge scratches on the walls etc and went over all of those things with her. The day before our wedding they decided it would be a good time to address all the things I had mentioned months previously. On top of that, the morning of my wedding I walked into the breezeway to see that they were pressure cleaning where our cocktail hour was supposed to be taking place. Everything was soaked and I had to leave the venue of our wedding that day not knowing if the area would even be dry enough for our cocktail hour. The food was amazing although I was pretty disappointed that the cheese and fruit table that we paid for was not moved into our reception after the cocktail hour as I was promised. Again, had the "Event Coordinator" been there maybe that would have been done. It was absolutely 100% unacceptable to not be given the heads up that the person who we had been working with and whose entire job is to coordinate events was not going to be there the day of our wedding. I didn't expect her to be my wedding coordinator but I did expect her there managing their event team. Pretty disappointed in how it was handled.

The entire Montrose/Daphne area lost power a few hours before our high school reunion and it remained out for several more hours. It was very hot...early June, but the GM went to get a generator to at least have music, a few spotlights as the sun set, and a few fans. The food was cooked on gas and drinks had already been iced down, so those areas went off without a hitch, even though the bar had to run all tabs by hand. The food was really good - all that I expected. I really feel that the GM did all he could to make sure the event could still take place, even though we were hot! The wait staff was very quick and efficient without having to be asked for anything.
The main negatives of my review deal with some of the issues we had before the event. When we first booked, everything was set and the deposit was paid, but I never signed a physical contract. Within a week of the event, I needed to change the number of people, but did not hear back from the events coordinator for days. Also, several things on the "contract" were changed without talking to me, including the addition of a bartender and not adding linens that I requested months before. Finally, the week of the event, I received a spreadsheet of the balance due, but it was completed incorrectly and I had to correct it for her, but then had to ask a couple times for verification of the balance due.
All in all, I would recommend Rock Creek as a venue for events. It's a great location and the food was delicious. Just make sure you hammer out the details and check your contract closely when you book and confirm everything in person.

It was okay

Eveyrthing was okay. The planning was very unorganized. We didn't get to finalize anything until like the week before. It was very stressful. Apparently (I didn't find this out until the day after), they didn't let my family set up for my reception until like an hour before, and even then they were met with, "There's nothing happening today?" from the staff which made everyone basically scramble to set up as guests were arriving. And then they started haphazzardly cleaning up while guests were still in the building. It was just kind of chaotic and unorganized. I would just make sure you have everything in writing beforehand and make sure you coordinate every detail in full weeks in advance. Kayleigh was helpful, just a little delayed in responses sometime (which so was I so, I don't really blame her at all).
