Amazing cake!!
Michael created the most beautiful and the most delicious cake we’ve ever seen! It was challenging planning a wedding during Covid, but Michael make the experience so wonderful by providing a tasting plate to help us pick flavors - which only make it harder since they were all phenomenal! All of our guests told us it was the best cake they’ve ever had. I cannot recommend Rochester NY Wedding Cakes enough! -

This cake was one of the highlights of my daughter's wedding. Mike was able to give us the ombre look my daughter wanted. It was so beautiful. The cake was so moist and delicious. So many people were raving about the appearance then the taste all evening and for the next two days after the wedding. Mike wanted our business and earned it with his classy presentation when we met with him. We were thrilled with this quality vendor and HIGHLY recommend Rochester Wedding Cakes. - Mother of the bride

Amy Sent on 07/19/2018I found Rochester NY Wedding Cakes by doing a Google search. I checked out the website and looked at the work they did, and ultimately decided to give them a try. My fiance and I went to do a cake tasting and couldn't have been more impressed and pleased after that appointment. Very professional and the spread of cakes and flavors to taste were amazing! We liked them so much that we picked several flavors for our wedding cake and booked right away. Rochester NY Wedding Cakes is affordable and you will be amazed at the quality of work and designs they can create for your special day. HIGHLY recommend!!! -

Bridal shower cake
The cake did not disappoint!! It was as beautiful as it was delicious. The theme of the bridal shower was pearls and Prosecco, so the cake was loaded with edible pearls. It was great working with Michael and his wife. They made the cake look very elegant. I had many people ask me where the cake came from. -

Rochester NY Wedding Cakes is the BEST! Michael and Erin are wonderful to work with. They are very responsive and very helpful with any questions you ask. They had so many flavors to try and made an absolutely beautiful cake for our wedding. Every tier was delicious and I was so sad that so much of it was eaten that there was hardly any left for me to take home to eat the rest of the week! Highly recommend for any wedding or any event for a beautiful and delicious cake. -

Wedding cake
Michael did a wonderful job on our wedding cake! Not only was the cake beautiful and just what we pictured, it was very tasty! My husband and I were super impressed and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great cake and a great price. -

Michael and Erin are awesome! They gave us the best wedding cake and it tasted delicious! We had a large reduction of guest attending and they accommodated us even though we already paid for it in full!
Michael listened to our every wish and delivered a wonderful cake! We would order from them for any occasion! -

WOW! That was exactly what we said when we saw it! It was everything we had pictured it would be. Mike nailed it! Our guests were raving about the flavors- almond with raspberry, choc. Chip w peanut butter and carrot cake with cream cheese frosting! The pastries were amazing too! HIGHLY recommend! -

Special Birthday!
This cake not only looked fabulous , but was so delicious. Sometimes a decorated cake is dry, or tasteless, but this was awesome. The different tiers were completely different cakes as each Twin chose their own. Thank you Michael for this gorgeous, fun, special 16th birthday cake. We will all remember it fondly.

Denise 60th Birthday Cake
The cake and the service were perfect!!! It was the talk of the evening. Love, love it. Then we tasted it😳!!! Drop the mic, it was delicious, light and fluffy. The raspberry and butter filling were scrumptious😋!!! Michael and Erin, you have a customer for life and I will be referring you to whoever ask. Actually they do not have to ask, I will tell them, regardless. Thank you again!! -

Michael is such a talented baker and I am so happy that I went with him for my wedding desserts! From the beginning, with the cake tasting, he was professional and went above and beyond to make sure I had the right cake and desserts. We went with a two tiered wedding cake, plus a variety of his pastries, and everything was absolutely delicious! You cannot go wrong with anything you choose. I also ordered a grooms cake of a rubber duck with my husband’s favorite college football team’s colors and name to surprise him...it was awesome! My husband loved everything about it :) -

Pros: Cakes were beautiful and he worked with me to customize them the way we wanted and they turned out even better than expected. I got to have every layer a different flavor and they were all delicious! The tasting was free and he gave so many different samples. He also lowered the price when our counts lowered without changing the size of the cake. He was so passionate about what he did it was a pleasure to work with him.
Con: Did not provide a box for the top layer of the cake or grooms cake so they were a little difficult to get home -

When we went for the cake tasting we got I think about 12 full size pieces and frostings to try. Everything was amazingly delicious! We got a two tier cutting cake and four different flavors of cupcakes. They were all a hit! Michael was so easy to work with and we had so much fun choosing all the flavors! Our cake was absolutely beautiful too! There were so many different flavor options too! -

I just want to let Chief Michael and his lovely bride Erin how wonderful they were to work with and how easy they made the process during COVID-19. My new husband and I were blown away with our delicious wedding cake, and all my guests ranted and raved how excellent it was. My wedding cake was beyond beautiful and tasted amazing! I’m so glad that we saved the top ahead of time because there wasn’t a single slice of cake or pastry left at the end of the night! The guests raved about how wonderful the desserts were and the presentation, and taste, were exceptional. -

I couldn't be more pleased with the cake you did for my son's birthday party.
It was beyond words! There were so many comments; the best one, can you really eat this? Beside being extraordinary, it was delicious! My son ate one piece of vanilla and one chocolate. Everyone asked me who did the cake, so you had many referrals.. You are a MASTER. Thank you so much. The cake was a big hit.

Perfection
Michael was absolutely amazing to work with from the beginning. He works right out of his home and had us do a wonderful tasting of so many flavors that we didn’t even know existed! And as a bonus we got to take it all home with us at no cost! As time went on we had to postpone due to covid and he was able to do that, no questions asked. He was very accommodating throughout the whole planning process and as a result we got the most delicious and beautiful cake we have ever seen! I highly recommend Michael and will be using him for future celebrations! Thank you again! -

We made the decision to work with Michael and Rochester NY Wedding Cakes when we tasted the cakes. Oh my word, these were and still are the best cakes I've ever tasted. I will be honest, if you're looking for a cheap wedding cake vendor, do not waste your time with Michael. But if you're willing to pay a little more, be prepared to have the best vendor experience of your life. He went out of his way to work within our budget to provide the optimal amount of cake and mini desserts for our wedding guests. Our tasting interaction was awesome - the tastings were delicious, the questions were on point, and the level of honesty and professionalism is unmatched. Every time I called, Michael answered, quickly pulled up our file, and worked through whatever concerns I had. He took the time to explain the optimal time to have the guests eating the desserts and why, which was much more than I expected. And our wedding guests were impressed by the presentation of both the cakes and desserts, but more often than not the compliments were on the taste of each of the three cakes we picked. I've had them since the wedding and they are still amazing. I can't wait to use Rochester NY Wedding Cakes for a future event. -
