  Super flexible and a lot of fun

  Rob was great! We met early in the process to talk about what we were looking for and what kind of budget we have. He was super flexible and tailored the invoice to fit within the amount we wanted to spend. On the day of the wedding we had a lot of fun and I'm really happy with how the pictures turned out. The online portal is really nice and easy to use and share with family and friends.

  Amazing experience

  Rob was our photographer for our wedding and we cannot have more words of gratitude. He has a great personality and makes things easy. He helped us print our engagement photo and the guests list, size 24x36, then he mounted them on poster boards. He’s making you feel comfortable no matter how crazy the day gets. He’s awesome with kids, and that’s so handy when you have a timeline of family photos. He is EVERYWHERE, capturing not only the groom and the bride, but your guests having fun. The photos turned out so good, we are so happy he was our photographer and we highly recommend him. You’ll see why he always gets 5 stars reviews.

  Best Wedding Photographer Ever!

  Best wedding photographer ever! Rob and his fellow photographer Frances shot over 2000 pictures, both formal and candid, and there are so many great pix that I've had to re-order. Rob made it easy for us to enjoy our great day because he is SO good to work with. Frances took wonderful informal shots of the children. Various families could request family photos all during the day, so our activities were not interrupted by waiting in line at the photographer station. The final archival prints are gorgeous! This is the time to award "Greatly Exceeded Expectations" to RobProPhoto!

  In the process of whittling down our choices for a wedding photographer, Rob became the obvious choice after meeting with him. As you’ll find out yourself, he has a terrific attitude and a real passion for his craft. You can tell from speaking and working with him that capturing those special moments and showcasing it for you and your loved ones is what drives him. We told Rob that we were mostly looking for candid shots (with a few traditional poses of course) as we wanted the photos to have a more authentic feel. We definitely got the candid shots we wanted, and much more! Rob was able to capture the most intimate moments that lasted for only a split second, moments that we never planned for but are now memorialized forever. Everyone enjoyed working with him as he has this knack for disarming people and making them feel comfortable – the multitude of laughing and goofy photos is a testament to this. He was incredibly adaptable and open to all suggestions; I promise you will not find a photographer easier or more fun to work with (he was even so kind as to make a couple fun GIFs for us). I could easily go on, but do yourself a favor and schedule a meeting with Rob, then you’ll understand why it feels like you’ll be working with a friend. Thanks Rob!

  Photo prints

  I contacted Rob to have him do a collage print of our wedding photos. We needed someone who had photoshop skills in order to build the design layout we had in mind. Rob pulled through and was able to work out the kinks that arose while building the collage, such as providing equal white space & photo ratio.
  I had applied filters to the photos that turned out were an issue for printing. Fine detailing of some of the black spaces would not have shown well on the print. His knowledge of these things was impressive and showed he knew what he was doing.
  He also worked with me on the phone call by sending me font options via email so we could pick which font we liked.
  His prices were fair considering it took him about an hour and a half to put the collage together and then longer once I provided him with revised photos to place into the collage.
  As a small but appreciated gesture, he sent email invites for our phone calls and print pickup.
  Definitely recommend Rob for help in making photo collages & prints!

He has a great personality and we had so much fun with him! He really helped us all relax and had everyone smiling easily, even the more shy guests. He made our day even more spectacular! Then we got the photos back and were blown away - they were so wonderful, he is incredibly talented.   I’ll leave it at this, I am a top star chef that caters private events and weddings. Having worked in the industry for over 30+ years, I about have seen it all… at least I thought. An all-star wedding photographer amazes me, and even to this day, looking back, I still can see and am reminded of the dedication and devotion he brings to the table. I have not seen the final images, however I did see Rob work, and that my friends is what brings me to this review. I have seen countless photographers throughout my years, and I can say this, Rob, you are going places. The energy, The technicalities, The Emotion, The Images,… I could go on. Congratulations, and I am glad to have worked at an event with you. Very inspiring indeed… now if only you could come teach the Sous Chef’s how you last the 8+ hours days!

  I hired Rob from the internet reviews, since I was from California. Rob researched the venue, brought props for a family reunion at a beautiful park in Portland He capture our moments beautifully and his wife, Silvia was sweet and helpful. His editing skills were fabulous too!

  Rob exceeded our expectations, and delivered some truly beautiful images to us from our wedding. We are originally from the east coast, and decided to travel Rob to our wedding which we had on the east coast with our family.   As a high end caterer, I want the best possible projection of my product. Rob has an amazing ability to take the ordinary and see it, as well as photograph, that essential moment of mundane genius that only a photographer of his caliber could see and appreciate...like the most Perfect moment of me dropping cherry blossoms on a salad.

  We really didn’t care much about photography, and even at a time of spending so much money on our wedding day in Portland already we were hesitant to spend even more on photography. We saw RobProPhoto’s reviews so we thought we’d give them a call, and find out about pricing. Soon enough we met with Rob personally! and explained to him our situation. Rob understood working within our budget and putting together a perfect package just for us. 1 week after our wedding, we received our photos on an archival DVD with a few beautiful prints.
  
  Coming from us, not knowing what we wanted, nor even caring about photography for our wedding… I am glad that we chose RobProPhoto as our wedding photography service. Now we look at our framed photo everyday knowing that we can share that memory with our children and grandchildren. The support and thoughtfulness of Rob on your wedding day is unmatched in my eyes… So thank you Rob for guiding us through, capturing, and saving these memories for us and our future together forever! Oh, also for other people’s references we printed our photos directly through RobProPhoto’s Photography Lab, and the images are the best images I have ever seen.

  Rob was an outstanding and reliable photographer to have at our wedding. He really made us all feel comfortable and brought smiles and energy on our big day. He seemed very skilled and knowledgeable. We can’t recommend him enough!

  So lucky we found RobProPhoto as our wedding photographer. He was reliable, accurate, and surprisingly funny throughout the day. He caught so many candid moments that we will remember forever. We had our wedding at the Roadhouse McMenamins in Hillsboro, and Rob really knew how to capture the scene. We later found out that was one of his favorite venues, and it sure shows. We highly recommend RobProPhoto, and will definitely be going back to him for some baby photos this coming summer.

  RobProPhoto took photos for our engagement portrait session which were then used for our save the date cards (ordered through RobProPhoto), our rehearsal dinner, and our wedding ceremony plus an extra portrait session to trash the dress. Everything turned out fantastic and better than we hoped for. We’re not super photography buffs, but we do appreciate good composition and workmanship. Rob’s knowledge led us through a great path along our journey, and gave us memories now I’ll never forget.
  
  Rob does everything by hand, and I think it is amazing… his skill that is. He envisions the photographs before he takes them… it’s like he knows what’s about to happen before we even do! He prints the photos by hand in his darkroom, and on top of all this, he actually hand builds his own museum grade picture frames using only non-powered hand tools, claiming he likes to take his time and feel every cut.
  
  First off, what a cool old-school young guy with a great amount of talent.
  
  Second off, We got him for our wedding! and so glad we found him amongst all the other photographers out there.

  Having Rob at our wedding was a blast! It seems like he knows how to have a good time while working. It truely shows he loves what he does, and the images prove that. We are so happy with our prints, they make us smile everyday. And not forgetting to mention our super secret package that we get in the mail (that's all I can say:)!). When we returned from our honeymoon, our pictures were there waiting to greet us. Oh the memories that will last forever, your art is beautiful! Thank You Rob, and I am happy to recommend him to any bride and groom our there!

  We chose Rob for our wedding photography needs. Meeting with him beforehand at the free consultation, and viewing his packages and prints in person, really gave us a good idea on what we ultimately wanted. We had our wedding at the local McMenamins here in Portland, and Rob really made us all feel comfortable (especially me). You get the sense that he has been doing this for a while as he can either decide to blend in (totally forgetting he's even in the room sometimes), or he'll totally take charge of the formal portraits with the large family... we had a large family.
  Now we have completed our wedding, have received our Archival DVD with all the photos, and some beautiful hand made prints that supposedly lasts lifetimes. Honestly I've never seen a print this good, and neither has my hubby nor my mom! It seems that my Aunt will be hiring him to take photos for my Cousins upcoming wedding in Montana. I guess we'll all be off to Montana soon! Thanks again Rob, and I can't recommend your service enough... maybe we'll see you when the babies start poppin' out!
