We hired Robert Yee for our wedding in 2016. My husband and I aren't too keen on being in front of the camera, but Robert was able to make us feel comfortable with all the attention we were about to get at our wedding. He was great at having some photo-journalistic qualities to capture more impromptu moments than just focusing on posed shots. His pricing is very reasonable, and he was flexible enough to allow us to create a package that worked for our needs. He's very friendly and professional with everyone, including our guests, and helped coach us not only with the photography, but with what to expect wedding day. His photos captured our day and our quirks perfectly! We love reliving our wedding day through the photos Robert and his team were able to capture- highly recommended!

Wow. Where do I even begin! First of all, the price was very fair. He worked with us and we were able to stay in our budget. Secondly, QUALITY. My god, this man is a creative genius, because our photos came out incredible. Equal if not better than photos I’ve seen from photographers that charge double what he does. I’m so happy with our preliminary photos we received last night that from our wedding two weeks ago. He even gives you an awesome slideshow that made us all cry (tears of joy). Ok, thirdly, during the big day he gave SO MANY directions and pointers so that he could snap the best photos of us, and it paid off big time. I hate when you don’t know how to put your arm or how to stand and no one tells you what to fix so your photos turn out like garbage. Not with Robert. Honestly if we didn’t have him helping us we wouldn’t have been able to end up with such quality photos, we’re not professional models by any means so this was absolutely crucial for a wedding photographer to help with. It paid off BIG TIME. Fourthly, wow was this guy nice and patient! Wow. You hardly even noticed he was there most of the time! He was very polite and very punctual also.

Absolutely hire this man for your wedding. I’m so glad I did, and so is my husband! Everyone that’s seen our slideshow already has commented on how incredible our photographer was! A+++

Robert did a wonderful job shooting our wedding! He took lots of very nice, artistic detail shots of our decorations and venue. He also had us fill out a custom form requesting a variety of specific pictures, like dressing room, jewelry, group pictures, and so on. What really stood out to us was some of his visual effects - beyond classic pictures, he did fisheye and some cool lens flare effects (for dance floor pictures). Robert was very professional and pushed extra hard to make sure we got our pictures in time for Christmas even though our wedding was mid-November. He's also familiar with our venue, Hacienda, and our DJ, American Mobile Music. There was a photographer discount to get the DJ and Robert together - icing on the cake!!

I'd give 10 stars if I could. Robert played an essential role in the success of our big day. To begin, the quality and volume of the photos are wonderful. For the first look, we picked a location and followed his lead in terms of setting up shorts: excellent choice (see below). Robert is also remarkably calm, organized, and reliable: a breath of fresh air in the potentially stressful lead up and execution. Can't say enough good things about working with Robert. Look no further, you found your guy!

Robert was wonderful. The price for the package was great and far better than most. I like his style of coverage... he give you all of the staged shots that you need but what I loved was anything he caught in the moment. My only complaint was not having two of him (or adding a second camera operator) and booking him for another hour for after the reception. We were both very pleased with his work!

Robert was excellent. The photos were beautiful and total keepsakes. Our event was outside by the ocean and in our garden. Sometimes, that can be a challenge but Robert did an excellent job. Also we went over the allotted time and Robert accommodated. We were referred to him by friends whose daughter was recently married and they were VERY happy as well.

Very happy with my decision to go with Robert to photograph my wedding! He and his assistant were both very professional and helped make our special day stress free! I also appreciate them coming out on somewhat short notice and even being flexible with services to fit our budget! Looking through the photos that he took, I know I made the right choice! Robert Weddings was fantastic. They gave us so many photos and options. They were constantly catching every moment but you never new they were there. You didn't feel you were posing for moments to be captured but they managed to catch every memory. They were great.

Robert is personable, and great to work with. The quality of his product is outstanding. He also worked well with the video team, and his presence taking photos of the wedding was seemless. Robert is very professional, flexible and the photos he took were amazing. We received many compliments on the work he did!

I recently got married at The Hacienda and found my DJ through their referral list, when I met with my DJ she recommended Robert as they often work together and have amazing package deals. When my husband and I first started budgeting and researching we were blow away at how much photographers are and with all the other expenses there is to think of this is something we did not want to blow our budget on. What I liked about Robert's packaged is you can find something that works for you in your budget, he has many packages just depends on what you are looking for.

I was blown away and how professional Robert and Matt were, they were on time and well organized. Since Robert and Julie (DJ) work a lot together they were totally in sync and kept us moving on time. They did not miss a beat, all of my expectations were far exceeded. Our pictures are beautiful and I am really happy with everything.

I am super happy about the fact that Robert captured all the little details on film, for all of you future brides everything happens SO FAST that day. I thought to myself the next day that I did not remember what the table settings looked like, or the centerpieces, the signage and décor I picked, but I was able to see that in the photos because it was all captured.

I highly recommend Robert Weddings for your photography needs, thank you for everything!

Robert did a great job capturing in the moment photos and we didn't ever know he was around. He's fast and out of the way so it never felt like he was bothering us during our special day.

Before we chose Robert, we took our time to meet with a number of photographer in both LA and OC. Although most of them show great portfolios, we believed that Robert provides more than just great portfolios. On our first meeting, he came in right on time and prepared with questions for us. My husband and I are not too specific on style but Robert was able to guide us through.
On our wedding day, Robert was 2-in-1, a photographer and a event manager. Using our timeline, he made sure that he took as many pictures as possible within given time frame. He gave us style directions we would not even dreamt of.
He sent us wedding highlights the day after! We were able to view them during our mini honeymoon! Not only that, he was able to finish editing all 600+ of them by the week after. So that we could show them to our close friends during our post ceremony lunch. Pictures were beautiful and fit us!
You won't regret hiring Robert! He's more than just a professional photographer :)

Robert is awesome! Very cool, calm, and collected. Knows what he's doing and we love our photos. I'm not very photogenic or comfortable in front of the camera but he made it easy breezy and we have some great shots (and lots of them)! I highly recommend him and you cannot beat the price! Got us a link to a photo montage in about 2 weeks and our full disc of edited photos in less than 6 weeks. Simply awesome.

Rob is amazing at what he does. I was worried about getting only 1 photographer for my wedding but he was able to get all the shots! He was like a ninja! Even when you thought he wasnt there he was! My engagement photos and my wedding photos turned out beautiful! And he was great with my dog which was a huge plus :) hes responds quickly and is priced very well!

Robert was a great photographer at our wedding!!! We loved all of our pictures! He is very easy going and easy to work with. He is very creative and has great ideas for pictures. He got every picture and more I wanted at our wedding. He got our pictures back very fast in one month. He also made us a beautiful photo album after the wedding. I'm a bit late on getting up my review but I figured better late than never! Robert Yee was our photographer for our wedding and he did an amazing job! He was able to work with our budget to give us exactly what we wanted without paying an arm and a leg! He had artistic tricks, took plenty of extra shots so we had plenty to choose from, and he was professional, kind, and communicative. He did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend him! Be sure to let him know exactly what you want and you'll get it! A bad photographer can make or break a wedding memories, so stick with Robert and you'll be fine! Robert was awesome! When we were looking for DJs and photographers, our wedding coordinator suggested a package deal offered by American Mobile Music and Robert Yee Photography. We decided to go with it, and were more than satisfied with Robert's quality of work. He was very professional, caring and made us feel very much at ease. Robert was just fabulous. He was so kind and caring with us and all our guest. Poor guy had to deal with me for 1 full year. I couldn't be more happier with all his work. He had a photo booth that was such a hit. It was such a blast. Couldn't have had a better person do all of this for us.

Both the Robert the photographer, and Julie the dj,work awesome together!! Julie gets the party started!!! And Robert is very professional ... The pictures from my wedding are amazing. And everyone who attended can't stop talking about how much fun they had. The photo boot was a huge hit and the music Julie played was the best!!! HIGHLY recommend,You won't be disappointed .

Robert was our photographer for our engagement session and our wedding. I can't say enough great things about Robert. He is extremely nice, a great photographer, and we couldn't be happier with our photos. We have so many great pictures to chose from after our engagement session and our wedding, we don't even know where to begin. His prices are extremely fair, and we are so thankful we found him to capture the memories of our special day. Not only is Robert a talented photographer, he also has a great demeanor, and a calm personality, which is very nice to have with you on a day that can feel overwhelming and stressful. He is very professional, yet friendly and personable. He is also detailed and notices when your hair is out of place, your necklace is crooked, or if your arm is positioned in a way that is not flattering, and will have you correct it prior to taking the photo. I'm sure any girl would appreciate that since those are the kinds of things that easily ruin a picture. Robert also has an artistic side, and is able to create photos that are unique and feel like art instead of just a picture. He also is great at your typical photos as well. I would recommend Robert to anyone, and we were so happy to have him alongside of us on our wedding day.

Robert Yee provides such quality photos that I could not find elsewhere and at such an affordable cost. He was a pleasure to work with and I am so glad that we chose him for what I believe is the most important service (photos) of our most important day (wedding). Robert Yee Photography! To just say he is great is an understatement! He is top notch, by far a true professional out there, extremely talented, and super friendly. I am the groom and Robert made our engagement photos and wedding photos look amazing! We did our engagement shoot in Los Angeles and Robert rode with us to numerous stops driving through all sorts of areas of uncertainty. He was calm and in no rush to finish, It was a great time! These photos freeze the moments that last forever and Robert doesn't miss a thing. He arrives early, handles all requests, makes excellent suggestions, and directs the shoot with politeness and sets a comfortable tone for everyone involved. On our wedding day, Robert was great, handled all the requests, captured all the moments and made sure even the detail shots were great. He even emails a slideshow preview of photos next day, next day! The guy is that amazing! I can't thank you enough Robert for being such a good guy and making our wedding absolutely perfect! How do we begin to thank Robert for being such a huge part of making our wedding absolutely perfect?
From the moment he met with us for the initial consultation, right on time, with many beautiful examples of his work, great suggestions etc., we knew we had chosen the consummate professional !
The day of the wedding arrived and he surpassed our expectations. Robert is so calm, so finely tuned at what he does, it was as though he was invisible. He has a way of making everyone very, very comfortable and relaxed, so no wonder all the photos turned out so beautifully.
He sent us previews the following day and our out of state and out of the country relatives told us they felt like they were actually at the wedding, even though they were unable to attend. That was the best gift of all.
Nothing was too much to ask of Robert. He accommodated every request with such politeness and charm.
You will not be one bit disappointed if you choose him for your special day, that is for certain!

We are so thrilled about his work and would recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer. A wedding is such an important event in your lives, so you definitely want to chose someone who is able to handle it professionally. Robert was always early. He gave us great direction so the pictures were flawless. My husbands sisters were so impressed with Robert that they plan to book him for their wedding as well. We hired Robert because he was the photographer for my sister's wedding in 2008. Back then he worked for Harvard Photography. We loved his work, so my family decided to use him again.

Unfortunately, our wedding ran late (we had many guests, so it took a long time for them to get into the church) which required us to push everything else to a later time. We had given Robert a list of pictures that we wanted, and he was spectacular. We had a huge time crunch (the bus we hired would not accommodate our schedule being late) and somehow Robert was able to make every picture happen--he and his assistant worked their tails off! I was very disappointed that our bus would not wait for us to take pictures. However, Robert and his assistant rose to the occasion and took incredible pictures. Despite the bus being unwilling to accommodate us, Robert's pictures completely saved the day. In fact, he sensed my disappointment with the bus and even did his best to cheer me up while taking the photos.

Robert doesn't just take beautiful pictures. He has an ability to capture the moment. If you hire him as your photographer, you will not just get wonderful pictures, you will get beautiful moments forever preserved. As my husband and I went through our pictures, we were constantly amazed at the shots he got (without us even knowing!). He captured some of the most special moments that we had forgotten about in all the excitement of that day.

Robert is discrete, professional, and so very talented. He is the epitome of a professional. You will not regret hiring him!

We are so pleased with Robert. We hired him for an engagement session and our wedding. Our engagement pictures came out so beautiful. We got so many compliments about them. We had such a hard time choosing which ones to use on our save the dates because they were all so amazing. He was also so flexible that day and made my fiance and I feel comfortable. Robert photographed our wedding and engagement and he is amazing! He is quick in responding and I was very impressed how quick he uploaded photos from our wedding! Our wedding was in the afternoon and he had photos uploaded later that evening! As a bride, I really appreciated that because with all the craziness happening that day, I wasnt able to stop and look at any photos any of our guests took so I was already getting anxious to see how the pictures turned out! He was able to capture key moments and took pictures at the right angles to illustrate the emotions being felt in that moment and with his pictures, he can see these emotions clearly coming through. Robert was absolutely awesome. He was always super quick in responding to any questions that we had and was very flexible. It ended up raining on our wedding day and he worked his magic, kept us dry and got great pictures despite the weather. It was stress free the whole time. We ended up needing him for more time during the wedding and he stayed with us, no questions asked. The best part was a few hours after the wedding we got a text with a slideshow that he had put together for us and our guests to view. Robert is creative, professional, and very affordable. We had a very small wedding in September 2013, and we wanted to have a photographer to capture our special moment. Yet, we didn't want to spend a fortune to get a photographer. Luckily, we found Robert and he gave us a very affordable rate with a free engagement session. His work is amazing! Robert Yee is an talented photographer! I found him online and hit the jackpot! I looked for a photographer for weeks and then came across Rob's profile. I was working with a small budget and couldn't afford to spend a fortune on photos. But let me tell you, Rob is worth every penny. Rob was quick to respond to emails and phone calls. When I met with him, I viewed his work from previous weddings he'd covered, and all of the photos were impressive. After meeting with him I knew right away that he was the best choice. The day of the wedding Rob was timely and got things moving according to schedule. Rob was friendly, patient, and gave good direction to the guests. Everyone was impressed with the way he moved things along and treated them kindly. He was the best deal and the photos came out incredibly amazing. He got the photo slideshow to us quickly, and we were able to share it with friends & family, which made it so convenient. Even the family that wasn't able to attend the wedding commented on how well Rob was able to capture the happiness throughout the entire day. We just got our CD's and they look great! I love them! We had our wedding recently at Tivoli Terrace. It was beautiful venue and Robert made the wedding place look even more beautiful on the wedding photos. I loved the way he captured so many special moments with an elegant flair. And he was well mannered and polite. My only regrets is that I didn't take my engagement photo through Robert. We were referred to Robert Yee Photography through American Mobile Music who by the way did a fantastic job as our DJ and MC for our wedding. Let us start off by saying Robert was nothing short of amazing in every capacity. He's fast, not only with his work behind the lens but also providing the photos and/or creative slide shows after the photo sessions sometimes before we even go to bed that same evening! We secured him for both our engagement and wedding photos and absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE our photos. The venue and our vendors loved working with him too. He's got a great personality and knows how to make everyone feel right at home. His photos are well balanced, perfectly framed and pleasantly creative! He does an outstanding of making everyone look their best! For a camera shy couple, he helped us feel very natural in front of his myriad of expensive lenses as he went out of his way to get our ideas and make miracles happen with each shot. He's not afraid to get dusty or soaked at the beach to make the magic happen. Take a look at his time lapse videos and you will see just how thoughtfully he places himself around the event and how quickly he works his way around the venue to get choice angles. If he chose another career, I'd say he'd make a great sniper. ;) You won't even know he's there, but when you see the photographs it will make you wonder where and how he was able to get those shots without being right in front of you. As soon as my husband and I met Robert, we knew that we had met our wedding photographer. He is kind, attentive, and will work with you to make sure you get the photos you want on your wedding day. I emailed Robert constantly the few weeks before the wedding just to make sure he knew what photos we wanted, and the timeline of events. He was super helpful in giving us suggestions (hey, I've never been married before!) for how to order the timeline and little details we didn't think of (i.e. accounting for time needed to take still photos of the dress, shoes, etc.).

After the wedding, Robert was very prompt in sending me links to the gallery, the time lapse, and the slide show. The results were amazing, and my husband and I can't wait to see the photo album we've ordered with Robert.

Robert is an amazing photographer.. and great to work with! He is extremely responsive to e-mails and texts, and is very flexible about meeting to discuss any questions or concerns. The pictures turned out beautiful and captured all parts of the evening perfectly.

Robert was a pleasure to work with. He was very efficient and easy going. He had great ideas for both our engagement pictures and our wedding day photos. He also works very hard to make sure he gets the pictures to you in a very timely manner. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer.

Robert is the BOMB.COM!! The epics and wedding pics were AMAZING!!

I'm writing this review as the sister of the bride and her wedding coordinator..Robert was easily the best decision we made for the wedding. So easy and flexible to work with. To top it off he is so responsive. A rare find in photographers who take beautiful photos. We literally had our epics ready the same day it was taken. My sister and brother in law were from out of town in Texas so they only had two days prior to their wedding to take epics..so Robert turned it around for them the same day so we had time to get a photobook and enlargement of the epics on time for the wedding. For the epics he took his time did very interesting artistic shots with our balloons and "&" sign props. He was also really personable with them. Made them feel at easy because they were definitely not the type who likes the one on one attention with a camera and "posing".

For the wedding we had a last minute push in the schedule to start earlier for our tea ceremony. Rob easily accommodated this after we called him the night before. He was on time and completely unphased by all the CRAZY vietnamese ppl yapping their head off. I kept checking in with him to see if he was ok and he was cool as a cat. Took all the photos my father insisted on taking. Did wonderful with portraits and action shots..which were my fave! He also had great angles where some pics turned out circular?? I wish I knew the photography term for it, but those are definitely going to be framed!

Robert also provided our photobooth through his company Boothology. He had two assistants who were really great about doing double prints for ppl who wanted extra copies. They set up early, and provided props. The very next day..I think actually a little past midnight we saw a slideshow of all the photobooth shots taken. That was really fun to see it as a movie reel. My parents were really impressed. It was a nice entertainment addition to a typical banquet style asian wedding.

Robert prices are such a steal given his professionalism and obvious talent. I seriously don't know why he doesn't raise prices, but good for you right?! Take advantage :)

I cannot say enough good things about Robert. He exceeded my expectations in everything. My fiancee and I requested to have our engagement shoot at Disneyland which Robert happily obliged to. And after riding in teacups, scaling a treehouse, taking pictures backwards on a roller coaster (these came out great), and hiking all over Tom Sawyer's Island, he asked, where to next? We visited literally every spot in the park. And the pictures were amazing! Robert was also great on our wedding day. Although we did not request any other assistants to take additional photos, we realized with Robert, we didn't need to. He's like a photo ninja - getting pictures everywhere, but you hardly notice him. :) I loved that the style of our photos range from traditional to artistic and everywhere in between. I have recieved several compliments on how lovely our pictures turned out. Another thing is that Robert is very responsive in emails and texts and when I had any special requests, he made them happen. I just couldn't have been happier with having him as our photographer. :)

Robert was everything we needed from a photographer and more. I love pictures! I am a photo fanatic some might say. Because of this it was really important for me to have full faith in Robert to capture the priceless moments of my wedding day. I needed to put a lot of trust in him, so that I would not have to worry about carrying around a camera on my wedding day. Needless to say, I placed my trust very well. He did a fantastic job with the wedding photography and our engagement photo session as well. He was not put off by our children and their milloions of questions either! He really is a great guy to be around as a whole. In addition, many of my wedding guests and bridal party members commented on Robert's professionalism and laid back style. They had expected some straight-backed person giving orders and being inflexible. Robert was the exact opposite. He is easy to talk to and he communicates very well what he can do and how he can best achieve the results you desire. I couldn't have chosen a better photographer and will utilize his services and abilities for future life events, as well as recommending him to friends and family.

Robert is an AMAZING photographer. I'm awkward behind the camera. I never know what to do with my face, hands, and body, but Robert was helpful in making me look my best. He's professional and at the same time he's so easy going and laid back, which made the experience very fun and memorable. My now husband and I never thought we would have such a good time doing an engagement shoot, which gave us confidence on how stressless it would be on the actual wedding day. Robert is very flexible in his availability and responsivness when it comes to emailing back and forth, phone calls, texts, and meeting up to talk about the photo album or details about the photo shoot of either the engagement and wedding day. We're super happy about all the pictures he's taken for us. He's very creative in his work. They all came out crisp, clear, and the colors are beautiful. Thank you Robert for a wonderfully memorable experience!

One more thing...I didn't realize it before, but a couple years ago Robert photographed for my grandfather's funeral. He was so stealth that I didn't even noticed he was there, which was appropriate for that situation. He created such a beautiful and touching slideshow. It touched my family's heart. They think he has great talent and skills. I do too. It looks like Robert will be our number 1 pick to photograph any of our future events. Thank you again for everything Robert!

Robert Yee was so great to work with, he really listened to what we really wanted for our bid day and was able to understand our culture and capture the most important momements of our big day. He was able to capture every moment of the wedding and took such amazing pictures. He does an amazing job everytime, that all my family and friends ask who did our wedding. We have a huge family and already two of my cousins used him because of his work, and robert will continue to be our family photographer. I am not great at taking pictures but he was able to make me feel so comfortable taking pictures which made the photos even better. He took so many pictures that its hard to put an album together. What is even more amazing is the fact that each pictures looks like it came from a movie or a magazine. I will always recommend robert and always use him for photography. Most of all he was soo great to work with and flexible which made everything easier.

I remember the tedious task of finding wedding vendors. Robert was referred to me by a close family member who noticed the long labored hours BRIDEZILLA spent web searching. After visiting his website and meeting with Robert in person to view more of his work, my fiance and I felt at ease and did NOT stress over photography for our wedding again thereafter!

Robert is professional, personable, and punctual to say the least! He takes beautiful pictures...every smile, every teardrop was captured without adding or taking away. Robert worked so hard and did not ever part with his camera. We are so happy we made the right decision. Our wedding party, friends, and families are all impressed by the photo quality. It was truly a blessing to have Robert be a part of our special day.

Robert was absolutely amazing!! Not only is he the best photographer I have ever had, but he is also a wonderful person!! Robert is very friendly and helpful! Robert was referred to us from our wedding coordinator, who gave us a few referrals for photography. We chose Robert because we liked his Style and also his Awesome Price Value for his quality work...very reasonable. He was also able to give us a great CUSTOMIZED package based on what we needed and what we did not need.

Robert helped us with our ENGAGEMENT photos as well as WEDDING day photos. We actually went back to Asia to take engagement photos but just wanted Robert to take a few shots here and there so we can put a simple nice photo for our SAVE the date magnet. Robert went above and beyond our simple 1 to 2 hour package and spent 3 hours to make sure he captures beautiful photos for us and gave us a bonus album for engagement photos afterwards. The phtoo proofs was out in 2 days! My fiance and i at that time did not know how to pose. He knew exactly how to pose us and gave us tips on expressions and etc etc. very Professional, Experienced, and EFFICIENT!

For day of wedding Robert brought his associate. Since it was an all day package, he was there since morning for tea ceremony. Our coordinator scheduled him and his partner to leave about 10pm or 11pm but they stayed all the way until midnight. They worked so hard! Also the proofs were out in 2 days...the wedding day highlights were online for us or guests to view in just 2 days!

After the wedding we troubled Robert a lot! He created a wonderful photo slideshow based on all the photos that we wanted to add and take out! Robert is so Patient, Responsive, and EFFICIENT. I am a very picky bride when it comes to Esthetics and how things should be done. Robert Listens to what the bride and groom wants and helps our visions come true! Thank you so much Robert!!! Btw, we love the thank you card collage you created for us..very lovely!
