Beautiful work and amazing personality!

Robert sat with us a few days before the wedding to look at the location where we would take pictures and prepared us for our day.

We felt he gave us great detailed instructions and on our wedding day, he came early and started shooting immediately. Came to my room (bride) and did all the pictures before getting dressed. The makeup, the dressing, and any pics we wanted with our bride party.

Then he took off to the groom's room and took pictures there.

Then he prepared everyone including the groom at another area in the hotel. He brought me downstairs and had my groom looking the other way to do a first look.

It was super special and emotional. It was exactly what we wanted and needed before the ceremony.

Afterward, we did family photos and then more shots with him and me around the hotel. It was fantastic! Robert has an incredible eye for photography and art, our pictures were phenomenal!

He came to the wedding as well, and took pictures of the ceremony and party.

Just know that it takes close to 3 months to see the pictures after the wedding, but that's normal!

Robert captured our day perfectly

Robert was such a pleasure to work with… and then he blew us away when he sent the gallery! I am not sure why I was surprised since he worked other events for family and I had seen and loved his work, but he captured every moment, every personality, the smiles, and tears of joy. He pushed my husband and I slightly out of our comfort levels for a twirl that captured the light, movement, and really celebrated both of our wedding looks. My family loves our photos as much as we do. The sheer volume of pictures. Every time I open the album I see something new, subtle details such as how my friend’s husband embraced her by the bar, or family strutting to their seats. I’m so grateful Robert was part of our day - and the storyteller of this very special moment in our lives.

Amazing Experience

Robert Rios is truly one of a kind at what he does. Robert made our special day even that much better. Crystallized Memories… Beautiful Work of Art

Professional, artistic, in control and highly organized. When my wife and I were looking for a photographer for our destination wedding in Key Largo we stopped looking after we found the webpage of Robert Rios. We reached out to Robert to set up a time to discuss some details and after speaking with Robert we knew he was 100% who we had to have capture our special moments.

Along the way, Robert was always available for questions, and made spectacular suggestions/decisions based on his expert experiences. When we met Robert and his lovely wife in person, the warmth poured through them. We could tell/feel that each of them wanted our moment to be the most special day for us and they were not going to let us down.

When we received the artwork as our photographs, our eyes popped, hearts warmed and we relieved the moment in the same ether as if it were like we were doing it again. Moments were captured we didn’t recall and done in such a way that makes us want to do it again.

The Most Enjoyable Photo shoot I Ever Had!

Working with Robert was an absolute pleasure. As a solo traveler, he made me feel completely at ease and made the photo shoot so much fun! The photoshoot itself was incredible, but then seeing the completed photos absolutely blew me away. You can see how talented Robert is by his photos, but also know that he will put you at ease and make your photo shoot so enjoyable. I will 100% use Robert again the next time I am in Miami!

Best photographer ever!!

Robert Rios photography. After searching for many photographers for my wedding. I stumbled upon Robert after hearing through a mutual friend about his work. Once I saw the pictures on his website I knew I had to book him. And I’m so happy I did! His professionalism and communication blew my mind whether it was text/call/email. He took his time to meet me and my fiancé before the wedding at the actual venue to get a feel for what he/we wanted and liked. The day of the actual wedding and he was the most organized and efficient photographer ever. He kept my bridesmaids and the groomsmen in check and was constantly taking pictures. Him and his wife are such a fun team and I grew to love them the little time I spent with them. He was able to get so many pictures in the short amount of time and they came out amazing. He posed everyone. Me and my girls and husband etc. I cried when I got the pictures back. The things he does with his camera are amazing. He made me feel beautiful. You would regret not having him as your photographer.

Truly amazing

Extremely satisfied

Robert was just amazing since the beginning, he was always super receptive and willing to work with our budget. We had to change our date and location due to the COVID-19 and he was super understanding and available all the time, extremely supportive. The day our wedding he arrived earlier to the location to make sure everything was perfect, he was above and beyond to make sure we where comfortable and took soooo many photos. I just received them yesterday and I am mind blowing and still overwhelmed of how amazing they came out, gosh just beautiful, he little captured every single little detail. I literally look at them and can revive the moment and the emotions I felt. Robert is THE MAN!

I believe finding a photographer is just as important as finding THE perfect wedding dress. And I must say, I was lucky enough to have found them both. After working with Robert during our engagement shoot in Miami, we knew right away we wanted to work with him again! (even if it meant flying him from FL to NJ to shoot our wedding). Robert was always available and quick to address any concerns. Not only was he on time during our wedding day, he even came earlier to scope out the venue and set up his cameras and lightings. My husband is very camera shy but Robert managed to make him feel very natural in front of the camera! We had a long wedding with two ceremonies and Robert was very patient and professional throughout the whole day. We just can't believe how well he was able to capture every detail of our wedding; every time we look back at our photos, it feels like we are reliving the day all over again!

My husband and I now reside in NJ but we just want to keep hiring Robert again and again even if it means flying him back here to shoot us. With that said, when the time comes, we can not wait to have him back in NJ for our maternity shoot!

Thank you Robert for all the magical things you can do with a click of a camera. We certainly enjoyed working with you and I hope everyone can have the same experience as we did by hiring Robert.

Best wedding photographer in town

We love our wedding photos. We are still trying to figure out which is our favorite!!! He did such an amazing job we couldn’t be any happier with the end results. Perfection. Pinterest goals with robert!

I don’t even know where to begin this review! I had done extensive research on wedding wire and the knot. I had reached out to about 10 photographers, and seen the work of at least 100. I wanted simple, and timeless pictures and more importantly a photographer we connected with and wanted to work with us. Robert has gone above and beyond and surpassed our expectations 10 fold. His attention to detail, and parkour stills to get every shot are unmatched. If I could pick my wedding photographer all over again Robert would be my pick every time. We had tons of changes and consider ourselves demanding and he still rose to the occasion thank you for being part of our special day, and can’t wait for you to one day do our family pictures!

Amazing Engagement Shoot

Robert photographed our engagement shoot. We were impressed with his work from what we had seen online, yet we were still blown away once he sent us the edited files. He also pays so much attention to detail, not only in his photographs but in our story as a couple. Being from out of state, my fiancé and I didn't know where to begin with the photoshoot location. Awesome photographer!

I would highly recommend Robert. He's extremely professional - always courteous, timely and patient. He met with us a week before and helped us feel comfortable and prepared for our big day. He's so easy going! That meant a lot to us, as things can get pretty stressful that day. We love the final product. The images are beautiful, creative and so candid. Amazing to work with!

Where do we even start?

From the moment we saw his photos on his website, we decided that Robert Rios was the one! Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to meet with Robert until the day of the wedding, but seeing his work prior, we were comfortable that everything would come out perfectly. And oh boy did they! He is extremely professional, kind and efficient, and “out of this world” talented. Our parents and guests were amazed on how quickly, politely, professionally and efficiently he worked.
It takes great talent to capture so many emotions in photos and Robert did just that! Our wedding pictures came out way better than we expected. His fees are also reasonable!!!(you would not believe it after seeing his work, but they are). We could go on and on about how choosing Robert was the perfect choice, but just know that he really was. Simply the best

I can't find enough nice things to say about our experience with Robert. He was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. We met with him to go over the ceremony picture process before the wedding day and he even had a timeline so I can be prepared (I am a fan of organization and I loved that he was really organized too). During the stressful day, itself, he was beyond amazing. I know a little about photography and I can tell you Robert is very creative with compositions. He is truly an expert and knows exactly what is doing. I didn't have to worry about pictures I had in mind because he was all over the place like a ninja and got shots that surprised me. Engagement shoot

My fiancé and I met in Miami, we now live in NJ and getting married in NJ,so we thought it would be great to take our pictures in Miami. I was nervous about booking someone out of state that I won’t meet face to face prior to the shoot. I found Robert on here (wedding wire) and he immediately put me at ease, he answered all my questions and I noticed his photography skills was exactly what I wanted. He made it so easy for us to pay which was great. We decided to shoot at the Vizcaya Museum. Robert arrived to the shoot before us and waited for us to arrive. He was so professional and walked us through the venue as it was our first time there. He made us very comfortable in front of the camera, he was so great to work with. He took his time with taking pictures we changed 3 times and he made sure he took enough photos. We just received our pictures and we LOVE them, I still can’t believe how good they turned out. My fiancé and I can’t wait to work with Robert again in the future hopefully for a post-wedding session or a baby announcement!! :)

We hired Robert Rios to photograph our wedding in July of 2018.

I found Robert through a friend on Instagram. He took her engagement photos and I immediately fell in love with the quality of his work.

I sent him an email and within a few minutes he sent me a kind reply confirming he was available for our date!

He sent me his price sheet and I was pleased to find that his work was reasonably priced and within our budget.

I sent him the details of our wedding and he sent me a well-organized wedding timeline to approve.

Once agreed: we set up a date to meet in person, go over all the details for the big day and map out the venue.

Robert was very accommodating and extremely easy to work with.
Like most summer days in Miami it was raining the day of our meeting, so he proposed we meet indoors at the local Starbucks instead. As we were on our way, the rain stopped so we turned right around and met at the church after all.

On our wedding day: unlike Robert I am not very punctual. I sent him a message to inform him I was running late.
As usual, he quickly responded that he was already at the church, but not to worry.

When we arrived he was outside patiently waiting on us. He took a few pictures of my dad and I, and then we got the show on the road.

As the ceremony went on, Robert inconspicuously caught all the small but equally important details of our ceremony- from the picture locket on my bouquet, to the tears running down my mom’s cheek. He discreetly snapped away.

I love our pictures! They are not overly edited, or fake and the color saturations give off a timeless yet whimsical and romantic feel. They are a work of art and everything I dreamed of! Robert surpassed my every expectation. I am so happy I chose him for our special day. I highly recommend Robert Rios if you are in search of a talented, straightforward, unpretentious, professional.

Robert is an awesome photographer who knows how to capture perfect moments on film. He has a great eye for artistic shots and produces clear and refined photos. We will treasure and cherish the memories that he has captured as our photographer! We especially appreciate his quick responses and flexibility regarding the schedule for photography on the wedding day due to the rainy weather! Robert is very receptive to taking specific photo requests (i.e. sitting on a bench, standing on a stone platform, photos on a bridge over lily pads). He is great at instructing couples on romantic poses and attending to details from intimate portraits to large group shots. Robert is an easy-to-work-with professional who we strongly recommend.

Robert was very professional and easy to work with. We had a large wedding and Robert was always in a position for the best shot during the ceremony. After the ceremony came the part I was a little anxious about, the family and friends group pictures. What I thought would be stressful was anything but. Robert efficiently moved each group through without sacrificing any quality in the shot. He remained completely professional and every picture was top notch until the last song at the reception. I would highly recommend his services as wedding pictures are priceless and Robert does an amazing job at capturing the day with the person you will be with for the rest of your life.

Robert is everything you could hope/ ask for in a wedding photographer. He is timely, attentive and patient. Many people dread the picture taking portion of weddings, but with his charisma and good sense of humor Robert made us all feel like we were already having a party while we were taking all of our pictures. We hired Robert directly off of the internet based on seeing his pictures featured on several blogs, and also following the great reviews he has received from ALL of his clients. I will say, he was our very BEST and FAVORITE vendor of the day! First off, talk about patience! My friends and family are a rowdy bunch, and he was able to corral everyone so that they stayed out of the shots they weren't supposed to be in (including our First Look), and that they were where they needed to be when it was their turn.He really took control of every situation, and I am truly thankful for that. He made the entire process so easy on everyone and stress-free. Everyone kept saying how awesome he was, and my husband and I truly agree. Secondly, he is very creative. He knew where the best locations were for shots, how to position all of the little details (like shoes, garters, jewelry, etc.) so that it looks extra-classy. We have never done any type of photography sessions in the past, and I was worried that our shots would come out super posed and fake-looking. Not the case with Robert! He gave great direction for shots that needed to be taken, but he is fast and skilled enough that he was able to capture the moments that aren't-so-posed and just came naturally (those are the BEST ones, too!) We felt very comfortable about Robert, and he truly made us feel relaxed even when there was a lot going on. Last but not least, were the pictures. I was DYING to see our pictures because let's face it, his work we've seen before is the reason we hired him! I knew they were going to be great. And of course, they were. They are AMAZING, actually. Everyone who has seen them has raved about how beautiful they are. He really captures the true emotions of the day and turns them into beautiful, fresh and bright pieces of art. We are very proud to show them to everyone, and I can't wait to get huge prints to put all over our house.

My husband and I decided that we wanted to have a destination wedding in The Keys. It wasn't the easiest to plan especially since we had to do most of it from hundreds of miles away. Finding the perfect vendors proved a bit of a challenge. Out of all the decisions to be made, choosing the right photographer was extremely important to me. I found Robert's website as I searched for photographers in the Miami/Keys area. I thought his photographs captured the beauty of a wedding and his talent clearly shined through. I contacted him and he responded back promptly which I had noticed wasn't always the case with other vendors. We explained that we weren't planning to have the typical large wedding opting for more of an intimate affair. He was very flexible and gave us the freedom to decide what we wanted to do.
On the day of the wedding, Robert arrived early which was nice because it allowed him to set up and figure out pictures he wanted to take as well as time to meet us. He was professional but also personable and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We had a lot of fun with him. All of our guests really liked him as well. We received our photos pretty quickly and we just love them! He was able to capture our love for each other on film as well as the specialness of the day. Plus he made us look really good! We would definitely hire him again for an event and I'm a little sad that we live too far away to have him take more photos for us.
Having a destination wedding required us to take some risks on aspects of our wedding but we definitely made the right decision choosing Robert as our photographer.

We are more than thrilled with our wedding photos. It was a defining moment for us and Robert really captured all the details and the emotion that we felt on our wedding day. In the past I've worked with photographers for business events and personal events in Miami. In Miami you come across a ton of amateur photographers who just want to take your money, are not professional, or just plain rude. Robert is the complete opposite and more. I spoke to several photographers initially who all asked many questions about the wedding and such. After speaking to Robert Rios, I quickly knew that I would want him to be the photographer for my wedding. Robert was extremely friendly, while professional mad not only asked about our wedding day, but about my husband and I more on a personal level. There aren't enough ways for me to gush about Robert and his talent as a photographer. He was so responsive and helpful during the initial emailing and planning. He answered any questions and was willing to travel to our venue in Key Largo. Then came the wedding day... He was SOOO great to work with! He's caring, funny, professional and just plain wonderful to work it. And the best part is of course the photos. They are extraordinary. I truly run out of adjectives when I try to describe them, but they look like I am looking at our wedding through the filter of love and joy that was wrapped around that day. I have looked at the photos an embarrassing number of times and get giddy and tearful and excited and twitterpated all over again- just like I'm reliving the joy of my wedding day. Your wedding day never lasts long enough, but Robert has captured that magic for us and now we can relive it over and over again.

What I wanted from my photographer was someone that would be cost effective (a must for our budget wedding) but also professional with the ability to take high-quality photos with both standard, classic photos/poses as well as fun, artistic ones. Not only did we get that, but we got a great person to work with as well. My only regret is that this was a destination wedding and I can't recommend him to all our friends and family members, or use him for any future events! Robert is the perfect choice for any bride (or any occasion)!!

Robert is an amazing photographer! He did both my engagement and wedding pictures and I was very pleased. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable taking pictures. We actually had lots of fun! He even stayed past the time he was supposed to at the reception to make sure he captured every moment. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, young photographer. :)

Robert Rios is a great photographer. He took both our engagement and wedding pictures. He is a true professional, punctual, and attentive. His pricing is extremely reasonable. I was surprise to see what he charges compared to his work. It was worth every penny and more. I would recommend Robert Rios to anyone looking for a talented and professional photographer.

From the moment I saw his website I knew I would fall in love with the pictures!!!! Robert did an amazing job. He was nice, polite,and flexible (even after everything we put him through). We where so impressed with him and his photography that I will be calling him for pregnancy pictures!

Robert was great! Robert went totally beyond our expectations. He was super pro-active, punctual, responsable, very patient, and professional!! From the begining, Robert was flexible and willing to come to an arrangement that was good for everyone. He captured every moment in a beautiful, artistic way. He stayed for longer than we had expected and was very careful with each photograph. The pictures are beautiful and my family and friends really liked them. Robert Was Amazing!!!
Words can't begin to express the way that we feel about Robert’s work. He’s great and easy to work with, he is a very dedicated individual. We first witness his work thru our engagements photos. Once we saw the quality of work that he was capable of producing we knew right then he was our wedding photographer. He was so exceptionally patient with us throughout the whole photo shoot and allowed us to create some shots of our own as well. Bryan and I decided to get married in a beautiful island called Turks and Caicos. When we told Robert that we wanted him to come to Turks and Caicos with us to shoot our wedding photos he immediately said "yes". He was very understanding and was willing to be flexible with us and come to an arrangement that was great for both parties, to make our special day just perfect! He has a true passion for photography and we see it in all the photos that he captured for us. He absolutely made it a day to remember. I as well as friends and family will definitely be using his services again.

We already knew Robert as a creative individual, but he completely surpassed our expectations. My wife and I are completely satisfied with the outcome of everything Robert has done from calming my wife’s nerves by arriving early to giving great direction during the whole wedding process. My wife and I had no idea what we were doing, but he really took charge and made us feel comfortable during the shoots.
Through his personality, he really felt like part of the family and not some strange photographer you don’t know. Not only were we thrilled with each and every shot but so was all of our family and friends. My wife and I highly recommend Robert to anyone who is looking for the best quality, service, and professionalism that Robert gives. He even wiped the sand off my shoes with his shirt to get a good ground shot (it was a beach wedding). Thanks Rob!

Our anxiety in front of the camera and lack of experience were completely defeated by Robert's detailed instructions and creative ideas. The shoot was lots of fun, did not take a long time, and returned many great images! We are definitely recommending Robert to our friends and hiring him for our (this time legit) engagement and wedding parties :)

Robert was absolutely fantastic! He arrived on time and was professional and polite. I never once felt uncomfortable around Robert and he was by far, my favorite vendor of the day. Not only did he feel like one of our guests, but took time to interact with my family and friends. He prvided a high res DVD of all of the images and I really can't find one that I don't like. Take our advice and hire Robert- we're sure that you'll LOVE him. Thanks for an amazing day, Robert!! :)

Robert was very self confident and gave a lot of directives. We felt like this was his strongest asset as it helped doing the pictures faster and he was able to move the crowds when needed.

Robert captured every moment of our event! He was very professional and had great perspective for each shot!

Prior to the event, he met us at the banquet hall. He gathered the "court" and explained to them how important it was for each of them to HAVE FUN but always keep in mind that pictures where being taken; therefore, keep a smile on your face, no gum, no cell phones, no distractions :)

His ideas where original and creative. Reliable individual.
The pictures are beautiful and my family & guests where very impressed with the quality of his photography.

What can I say.... from the start I KNEW Robert Rios was to photograph my wedding. Why you ask? because I am a photographer and know a good one when I see one ; ) When I looked at Robert's work he was just starting out but already giving professionals a run for their money! He had the perfect balance of light and shadow, he captured a certain softness, and he could photograph lovely in dark or dim lighting... notice these are just technical talents... Robert also possesses one of THE MOST IMPORTANT qualities any professional wedding photographer should have - the ability to capture intimate and unforgettable moments. He was great at the wedding, friendly and pleasant to everyone. But when it got down to business he knew exactly how to direct the family and friends, and as a bride you get busy and need someone like that around. He made sure to capture the most important shots but also sometimes blended in quietly observing and snapping shots I never knew anyone caught on film... like my best friends shedding tears of joy...or the awkward moment after the cake cutter snapped while slicing the cake! When I got back the CD I almost cried. He made my wedding look so gorgeous and vivid I thought I was reliving every poignant moment. I know I will have trouble picking the perfect shot because there are far too many greats to choose from! If you need a good photographer Robert Rios is the one. I wholeheartedly agree with the reviewer who said Robert went above and beyond for their wedding. Robert photographed my Miami destination wedding and he was not only a fabulous photographer but also incredibly pleasant to work with. Robert was very responsive to communication, affordable, and truly listened to what I wanted for the wedding pictures. On the day of the wedding he put not only us but the whole wedding party at ease while he did his work. The pictures turned out great and Robert did us a huge favor by touching up a few of the pictures. Overall I would highly recommend Robert for any wedding, if you check out his website you can see the high quality of his work. I cannot explain in words how all the magnificent photos that were captured of such an important day of my life, made me feel when I saw them done. I re-lived the day once again as if I was marrying again and it made me feel great! Robert captured every moment and every detail in such great style. The photos are ALL BEAUTIFUL! I am not only grateful to Robert for capturing every moment of this such special day but for also going beyond the limits of doing such an excellent photography. I know Robert for many years (since the 5th grade) and who else was I going to call to photograph me? I really wanted to provide Robert with a flawless review. I had a very good experience with the engagement photos he took. I just was not pleased with our wedding photos at all. I do feel he has very affordable pricing, but after the fact, I wish I had paid more for better quality photos. We were married at an ocean front location in Islamorada, FL. I actually choose Robert based on a wedding he shot at this same location. Perhaps it was due to lighting, but I was not able to see the gorgeous view in any of our wedding photos. We also spent a great deal of time taking photos with our family on the dock after the wedding. While I have plenty of pictures of the wedding party, I did not receive any of the family photos that we spent time taking. These are pictures with my husbands grandparents that I very much wanted to have. I have emailed him asking about these photos and have not receive a response. I am not surprised, It has been a struggle to correspond with him via email.
