Captured Our Day Perfectly

Robert and his wife come as a team, they captured everything we could ever want and more! They were flexible (we had rain) and came up with a bunch of ideas to get some really cool shots. They were very professional and fantastic to work with. They were able to get all the pictures I wanted (and more), plus with both of them they divided and conquered all photos we needed. I loved working with them!

Awesome photographers

We used Robert Norris for engagement photos and our wedding. They are wonderful to work with and do an amazing job. Would highly recommend them for anyone looking to have professional photos for any event.

Robert and Janet Norris were amazing! We booked the Norris' for our engagement pictures as well as for our wedding day. It was burning up outside for our engagement pictures (my fault for waiting until summer) and freezing/rainy on our wedding day and The Norris' still did an amazing job. My husband and I are far from models, but they helped pose us and even though we felt awkward in some pictures, when we got the proofs, I was stunned. They were great! We booked the unlimited photo package for our wedding day and I am so glad we did. There were SO many beautiful pictures, it was hard to choose which ones I wanted to print. If I had any questions, they were always willing to meet and were extremely responsive through email. I highly recommend booking with the Norris'.

Robert Norris photography really brought their A-game to our wedding at Old Car Heaven in October 2015! Robert & Janet are an incredible team and work/feed off of each other so well! They are definitely an inspiration and great example of showing how a husband and wife should work as one unit! The wedding photos were back to us quicker than I could have imagined and they were all such a perfect reminder of each and every moment of our special day. Their pricing is incredible! Especially when you get the kind of service we did. We felt like they were a part of the family from the get go!

Janet and Robert Norris are wonderful photographers. Both worked tirelessly to make sure our son's wedding photos were ones that he and our family would treasure for a lifetime. They took pictures before the wedding at our home; then moved on to an outdoor venue for the ceremony and after party. The pictures turned out beautifully. We would highly recommend this talented couple!

I got married in May 2015 and was planning a Tuscaloosa, AL wedding from Ohio. I met with Robert and Janet while I was home for the holidays. They had reasonable prices and were available for my date, I loved their portfolios, and they were just genuinely nice people. They were the only photographer I met with and made planning things from long distance so easy. When the wedding day actually came, they were prompt and professional, and the pictures they took were absolutely gorgeous! They were decisive in getting the pictures done that day but never pushy, and they had great ideas for different shots and locations at the venue. I am not exaggerating when I say that I could not be happier with my wedding photos. Plenty of people spend way more on wedding photography than I did, and many have mediocre pictures to show for it. The quality of Robert Norris Photography's pictures make their prices an incredible value, in my opinion.

This duo was a life saving find for me! I wanted my pictures to look modern, but still capture the day in a classically beautiful way. They did just that. I have flawless portraits of everyone in my family on the best day of my life, as well as more candid photos than I can count. They captured the pure joy of every moment. They were there as my husband and I got ready, and didn't leave until the venue kicked us out! I still look at those pictures regularly, and STILL smile the entire time I look through them. There isn't a single shot I would change or wish they had taken, but didn't. They listened to all of my ideas, and also threw in their expertise in ways I couldn't have thought to ask for. They were helpful in making the timeline of when to take what pictures so that my family knew when to be where, and were an incredible guide to a smooth wedding day. They also gave me a cd of all my photos, which made printing them a piece of cake. They even upload them onto a website so that family members can print their favorite shots from your day just as easily. Your wedding day is the day that begins the rest of your life. Trusting someone blindly to capture it all is a little overwhelming. If you choose these two, then you can rest assured that they will not leave a photo untaken.

Let me first say that you CANNOT beat the price with exceptional quality that you receive with Robert and Janet Norris. Hands down. They captured every moment and were so fast to get the proofs to us! When Mr. Norris says the turn around is 2 weeks, he really means 2 weeks on the dot. They were very knowledgeable and so much fun! I cannot say enough great things about Robert Norris! Him and his wife are wonderful and are so much fun to work with! I've been in several weddings where he was the photography, and that was the first thing we booked when we got engaged because we knew we had to have him do our wedding!

Robert Norris Photography was awesome and so accommodating to our needs, wants, and budget. He offers the best packages and it worth every dime. He and his wife captured every moment and detail of wedding we wanted to showcase. It was a pleasure working with them both.

Mr. and Mrs. Norris are AWESOME to work with! They were professional, patient, fun (Mrs. Norris is hilarious) and provided exceptional service (in 105 degree weather). I had a wedding party of 18 and they all enjoyed working with the Norris's. I had lots of questions and would send Mr. Norris several emails throughout the week. He promptly responded to every last one of them. He always kept me updated with things he knew were very important to me. Did I mention....my pictures turned out absolutely GORGEOUS!!!! I love showing them off and get nothing but great compliments every time. If you're looking for great photography for a reasonable price, I would definitely recommend Norris Photography. I'm glad I chose them for my special day and couldn't be any happier with my photos!!!

Robert Norris was the photographer at our wedding, and he did such a wonderful job! Our wedding photos are so beautiful, and I really enjoyed working with him. I would highly reccomend Robert Norris Photography for weddings and other events. They were so easy to work with and made sure that all my requests met when it came to wedding day specifics. They took the time to have a sit down meeting prior to the day but were also very convienent to reach for further questioning. Robert responded via email or phone call. As far as the product, I have been extremely pleased with my albums and individual photos.

I can honestly say that the best part of our wedding day, aside from the ceremony, was having our photos taken by Robert and his wife, Jan. The two made us feel extremely comfortable, captured every emotion between us and took great shots. In fact, every photo reflects our personality as a couple. While Robert was taking a photo from one angle, Jan captured the same pose from another. Awesome!

Robert was always extremely responsive and provided excellent service. Our photo album tells the story of our day. I trusted him to choose the best photos for our album and he did!! I would recommend purchasing the disc of all the photos so you have the flexibility to print your own photos. Again, Robert never felt me feel pressured to purchase prints through Robert Norris Photography.

Very Professional. Found Robert Norris Photography online for my daughter's wedding which was in Arley Alabama, we are from Illinois. With all the planning and worries that go into a wedding I was very grateful that I could relax knowing the photography for this very special day was in very good hands. What a great experience!!

Robert & Janet were amazing! I could not have asked for anyone better to capture our special day. You definitely will not be disappointed! Their work is fantastic! The first day we met with Robert & Janet, we knew they were the ones. They shot my bridal shoot & our wedding. To this day, I keep looking at all the wonderful pictures they took. Everyday I see my beautiful wedding album sitting out on my coffee table and I am so thankful I had Robert Norris as our photographer. Great to work with!! I was very pleased with my pictures. Robert and his wife shot our engagement, bridal and wedding pictures. We wanted someone who was artistic but still took some traditional shots. Some photographers are too traditional and some too artsy but Robert had a great mix. We had a variety of candid, artsy, fun, traditional, everything you can imagine to choose from. We could not have been happier. Choosing our pictures was the hardest part. He gets your proofs back to you very quickly, which was a huge plus for me. His packages are very reasonable, especially when compared to other photographers, and the quality is even better. I met with him in his studio in Birmingham and after I saw his work, I knew immediately, I wanted him to be our photographer. I highly recommend Robert Norris and encourage you to visit his studio to see his work.

Robert Norris and his wife Janet were EXACTLY what we were looking for as photographers, and they delivered EXACTLY what we asked for in our photography! My husband and I wanted photographers that would be professional and decisive on our wedding day, but NOT pushy or intrusive. That is Robert.
I wanted classic, traditional portraits in the church, and we wanted fun shots of us and our guests at the reception. They honored our wishes at the church, giving us gorgeous traditional portraits separately and with our families. At the reception, Robert and Janet managed to get shots that ranged from intimate and personal to candid and fun. If we requested a group shot of any kind, they got it together quickly--and then we were on to the next folks we wanted to dance or visit with.
The shots from our first dance and cutting the cake, spending moments with our guests and then leaving the reception..they are priceless and timeless to me...NOT trendy or cheesy. The color in our photography is rich and gorgeous, the shots were well composed and very high quality. I believe that you get incredible quality from Robert Norris Photography for very reasonable prices...and photographers that are pros WITHOUT being pretentious. I couldn't believe some of the prices AND attitudes of some photographers we talked to before the wedding...we felt at ease with Robert and Janet immediately.
I would recommend them to any couple who wants to feel relaxed and confident on their wedding day that they are getting the absolute best.

Robert Norris Photography did a SUPERB job for my wedding - this was a second marriage for me and they were great about doing exactly what I wanted (and also suggesting some great options for me). Robert Norris Photography did an excellent job on our wedding photos! They were creative with the shots they took, and I loved the different angles they used. It was hard narrowing down my favorite pictures for my album. I would highly recommend them!

Robert and Janet were wonderful! I could not have asked for better people to document my big day. They were there on time, made sure to take all the last minute shots I "just needed," and had all my pictures finished with enough time to spare so the guests did not see me before the ceremony. Sometimes photographers simply are there to do their job and leave but that is NOT the case with Robert and Janet. They got to know my fiance and I before the ceremony, met with me to discuss what type of photos I wanted, and made sure to keep in tough up until the big day. You will not be disappointed with these wonderful people! They are amazing and sincere and their work is FANTASTIC!

The Best!!! We could not be more happy with our choice to use Robert Norris Photography! Robert and his wife Janet did an amazing job with both our engagement session and our wedding! Robert and his wife are professional, easy to correspond with, and most importantly they take amazing pictures. Finding the perfect photographer was a top priority for our wedding, we were truly lucky to find Robert! Robert and Janet captured the beauty of every single moment. The price is very reasonable for all the amazing work they produce, and there are so many pictures in the end. I have a new favorite every time I look at them. I could not have asked for a better photographer on our wedding day! The photographers at RNP did an amazing job, and I would highly recommend their services to anyone. The photos were very high quality, and I had a lot to choose from! He also did my bridal portraits, which he put his own creative touch. I felt very comfortable and at ease on my wedding day because he truly took care of everything from a photography standpoint.

There was no compromising when it came to choosing my photographer and I am certain I chose the BEST!!! Robert Norris was amazing!! Nearly one year to the day I am surrounded by amazing memories in photographs of my special day...especially our wedding album that retells the entire day!! Robert Norris listened to every request I had and did not miss one shot!! He was professional, friendly, and incredibly talented! Even the groomsmen raved about how quick pictures went!! I'm thankful every day for the choice we made when hiring Robert Norris!! When the wedding is over, the food has been eaten, and the gifts are put away, the pictures are the memories that will stay and stay!!! Thanks Robert!!! Did I mention I live 4 hours away??? They thought of everything and made my day that much simpler and magical! they thought of everything and took pictures I would have never of thought to take, which are some of the best pictures of the whole night! My husband and I were truly pleased with the quality of our wedding photographs. I did not feel rushed or ordered around on the day of the wedding while taking pictures - which was great because there was a lot going on! Robert was open to photo suggestions we wanted as well.
I would highly recommend their services to anyone planning on getting married or planning any special event needing documenting.
