Rob was awesome! He helped in suggesting a location for the engagement session. He was always prepared and professional. Having two photographers at the wedding allowed for different angles of the wedding to be captured simultaneously. He was very flexible when we needed to reschedule our engagement session due to hail and the wedding due to covid.

Fun, real wedding shots.

I enjoyed working with Rob. He is very personable and easy going. He was a joy to have at our wedding. He was on the entire time. We had axe throwing at our venue and between me and my husband, we were going back and forth. Rob was a great sport and ready to capture everything. I like working with him and I see him as someone most people will get along with. He is very punctual. He arrived very early in order to scope out the venue. He is also a master at lighting.

Best Decision I Made!

Rob and Joa were fabulous; everything you want in a vendor. Responsive to emails and calls, explained everything to us, up front pricing, attentive the day of our wedding, highest quality photos/video and a joy to work with. They were early on our big day and got right to business. Rob kept us on schedule and worked around the time crunch when we were running behind. They coached us when we needed it and just made the entire experience fun. Their videographer team is also amazing I am so glad we decided on video as well! I loved that they worked with us on changes to our pictures and video. The quality of our pictures and video is something we can’t put a price on and best of all their turn around time was all of a couple weeks for everything. Overall we couldn’t be happier with our final product!

Paca House Wedding Photographer

Rob is an easy-going guy who was easy to work with through-out the entire process of planning our Annapolis wedding at the William Paca House. I literally don’t have the words to tell you how awesome Rob and Joa have been. They have been an absolute dream to work with. During our pre-wedding shoot they put us at ease straight away, we laughed lots and the photos were just awesome.
Rob and Joa did such an amazing job on our wedding day where they managed to capture so many wonderful moments even those we missed! Fantastic team!

Rob and Joa were so wonderful! We did engagement photos with Rob and had a blast! We knew we picked the right photographers for our wedding. Rob is so fun-loving and easy-going while Joa keeps the whole show moving! They work very well together and produced some amazing images. We can't wait to see the full album!

One Of The Best Decisions We Made

We hired Rob & Joa to photograph and video our daughters wedding. They were so pleasant and easy to work with and made accommodations to our changes. They sent the short video within a week or two and the final video not too long after. They too a great variety of photos making it difficult for us to select the few we want for an album. They had some great selections and came very prepared. You won't be sorry if you contract with them.

We couldn’t be any happier to recommend Rob and Joalis for wedding photography. They went above and beyond to ensure every moment of our special day was captured. They were very professional, showed up early, and stayed late. We are very pleased with all the attention and effort they put towards our wedding photos. There was light rain during our outdoor ceremony, which made my wife and I a bit worried about how the photography and videography would turn out. However, the results exceeded our expectations, and they didn’t hesitate to bring out the umbrellas and get a little wet. We also did our engagement photo shoot with Rob, and knew that he was going to be the perfect fit as he’s very personable and made us feel comfortable during the shoots. He also didn’t mind walking to different sites with us to take a variety of different photos. He shared a few photos and our wedding highlight video the day after our wedding, and we had many friends/family complement their work. If you’re looking for experienced, professional photographers that love what they do, look no further. We give them five stars out of five, and are recommending them to all our friends getting married this upcoming year.

We loved working with them. is one of the best decisions that we made in planning our wedding. They were flexible and accommodating as I asked to add an hour of additional service towards the end of our reception. Rob and his team were great. Everything came out as we had hoped. The photo shoot a few weeks before the wedding was really nice. Then on the weeding day, the photographers and videographers took some great pictures and videos - and were very friendly and helpful. The highlight was (literally) the highlight video that we received less than a week after our wedding. It was short enough that we could share with our family and friends right away. Overall we are very happy with choosing GMS.

Rob and his team were fantastic! We received our highlight video within a few days and we were all crying remembering how special the day was to us! It was so awesome to receive this video while also on our honeymoon!

The team was energetic and a blast to work with! We had an awesome venue with a lot of photo opportunities and they were definitely creative helping us to capture the best shots. We opted not to do engagement photos - which we were worried we wouldn't feel comfortable when the wedding day came; however, there was definitely no need to worry. The team made us feel comfortable almost immediately. Would definitely recommend to others!

Robert Diffenderfer is truly an artist. He chose such lovely settings for our photo shoots and highlighted the most beautiful elements of our wedding. His creativity of composition in some of the still life shots was simply stunning. In fact, he captured the style I was trying to create more effectively than I had in the event itself. He also captured the energy and joy of our celebration, really telling a joyful story through the candid pictures throughout the day.

Robert was a joy to work with. He interacted pleasantly, effectively, and efficiently with us and with our guests. He fulfilled his contract commitments and kept in communication with us before and after the wedding. We highly recommend Robert Diffenderfer and are very excited with how beautifully he captured our wedding celebration.

Rob was very responsive and professional and helped us choose the right package for our big day. The day of the weather was terrible and we had to take mostly indoor pictures, but managed to find a place where we could have beautiful outdoor pictures.
He was also great at directing people to ensure we had all the pictures we wanted.

Rob and Joalis are AMAZING!!!! We had our ceremony in Breckenridge, CO and the reception in Savage, MD and they stuck with us the entire time.
Joalis created the most beautiful, heartwarming highlight reel of our intimate ceremony in the mountains. She had 1 day to create it so we could showed it at our reception and it still somehow came out perfectly. She worked tirelessly to address my many questions and concerns. Everyone at the reception said that after watching it, they felt like they were right there with us!
Despite the unexpected altitude sickness and cold weather, Rob spent the entire day capturing every moment on camera. He had the photos back to me within 2 days and I could not be happier. It is some of the most beautiful photography I have ever seen. Even with the wind and bright sun, he was able to provide so many truly gorgeous shots. The photography and videography was by far the most important thing to me and GMS completed exceeded our expectations. They are some of the most genuine, hardworking people I have ever met, and I will most definitely be using them for when we have children and other photo-worthy milestones in our lives! I cannot thank them enough!

Rob, Joalis, and our day of Videographers were all amazing! I have seen some incredible highlight reels, but ours is by far one of the best I've seen. I was in awe when I first watched it. Not to mention, we received it less than a week after the weeding--so quickly! Of course the full video took longer, but it was still ready to be viewed less than two months after the weeding. I've already watched it several times and love all of the footage they were able to capture. They beautifully captured all of the important highlights of the day, as well as many small details that could have easily been overlooked. Our videographers were very professional, but also very friendly and personable so we were comfortable with them following us around and being close during the intimate moments of the day. They were detail oriented and made sure to get shots exactly the right way with the right lighting. They worked well with my photographer, working together to capture moments and enjoying what they were doing while they worked. I can't say enough great things about the GMS team on the most important day of our lives thus far, they really captured the day exactly as I want to remember it forever. Thank you GMS!!

The photos came out great and they were super flexible with the engagement photos as well! They took a ton of pictures during the ceremony, and included the other ceremonies we had before the wedding as well. Super responsive and awesome quality, we couldn't be happier with their service!

Rob and his team of photographers and videographers are a fun team to work with and make your memories with! Easy and flexible to communicate with in-front-of and behind the camera. They are professional, but act like family, and makes you feel comfortable and not uptight when you already may have a great deal on your plate and to be thinking about. You can tell they love what they do, and that is important. My wedding time line was super short, and they stuck an engagement session in there just under a month before the wedding and had some engagement shots ready for me to be able to use to display at the wedding. They are lovable, and will enjoy having them on your team!

I cannot begin to tell you how pleased and elated my husband and I have been with this vendor. We had 2 videographers and 2 photographers: Taraneh, Jose, Ben and another gentleman. From beginning to end they were extremely professional and detail oriented. The day of our wedding I was taken aback by the creative shots and suggestions that the photographers came up with above and beyond the original shot list we had submitted. Not to mention I have gotten back our highlight reel and have watched it nonstop and shared with friends, family, and co-workers. We all have had the same reaction: the videographers were able to capture the essence that is our relationship as well as the true emotions that we felt that day. I swear I cry every time I watch the video it was just that well done.
If at all you are on the fence about booking this vendor I will tell you, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait to get our wedding photos back! If they're anything like our highlight reel than I know they will be masterfully done. BOOK THIS VENDOR!

They were absolutely amazing! I read the reviews and decided to pick GMS but during the wedding they were laying on the wet ground (it rained right before the ceremony

GMS Photo and Video provided both photography and videography for our wedding. Rob was one of the photographers and the person we communicated with from beginning to end. He was extremely accommodating and understanding during the entire event. It rained at ceremony time for our outside wedding and he made sure as soon as the sun was out we were able to capture some pictures outside. He has also gone above and beyond with offering to do family pictures since he knew we were unable to capture all of the family pictures due to the weather. I would highly recommend using his services if you want someone professional and solely focused on customer service and making your day special.

Rob and the GMS team completely exceeded our expectations. From the first time we met Rob, we knew we were in good hands. He patiently asked us questions about ourselves to understand our style and preferences. We appreciated how genuinely sweet, attentive, and passionate he was. He clearly takes great pride in his craft.

We contracted with Rob for both our engagement shoot and wedding day. For the engagement shoot, he was flexible about finding a time that worked for us and was happy to include our dog as well. He was very open to our suggestions on poses and worked with us to put together a beautiful shoot at our alma mater. Within a week or so, he had a preview back to us with 7-10 photos then gave us the rest in a reasonable time frame.

For the wedding, Rob brought along another photographer and two videographers. The entire team was incredibly nice, professional, and blended right into the festivities. They fit in like family, and we loved having them there as both vendors and guests. Rob kept a smile on his face the entire time and kept us laughing and light throughout all of our photos. The team also did a great job coordinating with all of the other vendors to make the day run as smoothly as possible.

Ever since the wedding, Rob has continued to exceed our expectations. He sent us a preview of our photos (7-10 of them) as well as an initial cut of the video remarkably fast, and the quality was fantastic. We absolutely loved our photos and will cherish them forever. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend GMS to anyone. No one will work harder for that perfect shot for you. Thank you Rob and team!

We chose GMS videography for our wedding day. Rob and Dan arrived on time in the hotel and the wedding venue. They were very personable and professional the entire time and my husband can't stop talking about how funny Rob was. We just love them! Rob emailed me the highlight reel day after the wedding. The highlight reel was so beautiful that it made us cry all over again by watching it. As soon as we posted the video on fb, we received tons of compliments and messages from our family and friends. I cannot say enough good things about Rob and his team. I mean from the very first meeting he made us feel so relaxed about this HUGE decision of finding the perfect photographer and it was evident to see how passionate Rob is about his work. They arrived promptly at the set time and got right to work. They joked with us and made us feel comfortable. We didn't feel like we had to be "on" and they captured so many moments for us. We also had them for videography and let me just tell you.... TEARS within the first 5 seconds. We got our wedding video the DAY AFTER OUR WEDDING! Everyone had a great time with them. Rob and his team were beyond incredible! From the moment we first met him, he was so professional and friendly. He gave us a feeling that we can trust him with our wedding. On the day of they got to the venue early to get a sense of the place and ensure everything is ready to go. They knew where and when to take excellent shots! Even though the weather that day was overcast, the pictures and video came out really well. My husband and I met Rob at the wedding expo at the Baltimore convention center. Before we ran into Rob we met a few other photographers and weren't really impressed. Each photography booth we stopped at told us why we needed to pick them and why they were so great and really wouldn't stop hassling us. They wanted us to give them our information so they can contact us. After stopping at a few photography stands at the expo I was nervous when we got to the GMS stand but that's when I knew I found our photographer. Rob was very nice and not pushy at all. His work speaks for itself and I felt comfortable with him and his colleagues. After seeing his work and speaking with him very briefly at the expo I knew what and who I wanted for our wedding. I contacted him when we were ready and was impressed with every step of the way. We purchased the pictures and videography package and I am so glad we got both. Robs wife did our highlight reel, which is a 5 minute preview of our wedding from start to finish and it was absolutely beautiful. I can't count how many times I watched these highlight reel videos on his Facebook page of other weddings before I got married. I couldn't wait to see my video and was in love when I saw it. GMS is a great team and I am glad we found them!

GMS Photo and Video came highly rated from one of our bridesmaids. Our initial visit with Rob was great! He was very personable and accommodating. We were on a budget and required photography and videography services. We were very happy with the price of the package we received. On our wedding day, the GMS Photo and Video team was prompt and professional as they took photo and video while we prepared prior to the ceremony. During and after the ceremony they were inventive in capturing shots that enhanced the beautiful architecture of our venue and all of our special moments. We will cherish these photographs forever. We also loved the highlight video that we received soon after our wedding. The editing and song selection of the highlight video was perfect. GMS was extremely attentive to our needs as it pertains to the editing and finishing of our full-length video. We could not be happier. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this vendor. We would highly recommend them to other couples!

It was such a pleasure working with Rob and his team. As soon as we arrived on site, Rob introduced me to each photographer and videographer (we had two of each) and they got straight to work. The groom and I opted not to have a first look, so Rob split up the team and we were able to get a lot of pictures individually with our party members, which also saved us time during cocktail hour. While Rob was setting us up for pictures, the other photographer was working diligently to ensure the lighting and the flash was ready. We were rarely waiting for a photograph to be taken and he always had the next picture outlined in his head before we were done taking the first one. He posed us naturally and leaped at the chance to photograph us in our natural state. If his photographs are even half as good as the ease it was working with him, we will be incredibly grateful.

The videographers worked arm in arm with Rob the entire night. When a photographer was taking a picture, the videographer was right there to capture the moments surrounding that shot. We didn’t have a lot of interaction with the videographers, but they were always looking to capture all of our special moments. I am so excited to see the footage of our day.

GMS was wonderful to work with. After our initial meeting with Rob we knew we had found our photographer. He asked questions no one else had asked and came up with artistic ideas for photos.
The day of the wedding he and his crew arrived on time and prepared. We've been able to relive our special day through the photos and video they produced.

My fiance and I worked with Rob for our engagement photos in Harper's Ferry, WV. First, let me state that Rob was EXTREMELY flexible and accommodating to schedule our engagement session as quickly as he could. Unfortunately a hurricane effected the original date that we had chosen; however, Rob squeezed us into his busy schedule 2 weeks later. During the session, Rob was professional, courteous, flexible, and personable. My fiance and I can be a handful and Rob was able to laugh along with us throughout the day. I loved his eye to spot gorgeous photo opportunities along the way. I just got back our engagement photos today after only waiting about 4 weeks (he works super fast!). I recommend him to any and everyone for your photography needs. We will also be working with him for our wedding photos and video. I can't wait!

I met Rob at one of the Wedding Expos I attended and was interested in a wedding package he was offering (for video & photo services). After speaking with him further on the phone, and reading other reviews on Wedding Wire, I could tell that he was someone who took pride in his work and the reputation he has built - I was sold! The meeting my fiancé and I had with Rob in person only confirmed it further - the beautiful pictures and video samples from prior clients speaks volumes.
We were originally hoping to have Rob as one of our photographers for the big day; however, an accident that week prevented him from being able to attend. Even that change was flawless, as he informed us of our photo/video team, provided contact information, and ensured that the location information I sent him was forwarded on. Our photographers for the day were Jenna & Paul and our videographers were Victor and Mike - and we couldn't be happier with the GMS team!!! Everyone arrived on time (or earlier) and immediately went about getting shots/video or setting up. I spent my prep time with Jenna and Victor (as well as for our bride/groom shots alone) and they made me/us feel so at ease! Where I saw overly rustic, "non special" items about our venue, they captured beautiful lighting and commented on how they love using nature as a backdrop. We could joke with them, make 'on the fly' photo requests, and felt that they were part of the family for the day. I could go on forever about how nice they were to work with but, at the end of the day, their work speaks for itself. We've seen our video highlight reel, as well as our photo preview on Facebook, and PERFECT is the only way to describe it! They captured our uniqueness, the love of the day, and more beauty in the setting than I even think was there (if that is possible). I can't wait to see the rest and hope to work with the GMS team again! If you select them you will not be disappointed!

Rob and his wife Joalis were an absolute pleasure to work with. From the very first day we meet them (we spent half of the day with them, even though our meeting was to be an hour) we could see how much they cared about the product and services they provide. They took the time necessary to a make sure they knew exactly what we wanted and we patient with us when we made changes or asked numerous questions. Our wedding took place in Baltimore, MD but we took our wedding pictures the day before in Washington DC and they were able to accommodate this request without charging us an arm and leg. One of the great things was the next day at our wedding our guest were able to see some of our photos, which they loved! Overall, we could not have found a greater photographer and videographer to capture our special day. At the end of the day we felt like we were dealing with family who made sure our day was captured just they way we wanted. Our highlight reel, photos, and video were simply amazing and everyone loved them. And the price was very budget friendly.

Rob and his crew were excellent the day of the wedding and in all previous encounters leading up to it. My husband and I decided to go with GMS Photo & Video for our wedding photography and videography when we saw the great reviews and good experience Rob had. Rob always responded quickly to our emails and any questions we had! It was a pleasure working with his crew on the day of the wedding for the preparation,ceremony, and reception. They were on time, had pre-planned shots, was also willing to take suggestions for poses, and was very friendly to everyone! Our guests loved Rob and his crew and our bridal party enjoyed taking pictures with them. I look forward to seeing our pictures and video and I know they will be great! Rob and his team were great at our wedding and for our engagement photos. From the beginning, he was very accessible, answered our questions, and was very engaged throughout the process. On the day of the event, he even showed up earlier than expected to ensure quality photos. The video and photos were excellent and great quality. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

We chose GMS photography for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier. We decided on GMS because they were able to customize our package and worked with our budget. We searched many other photographer but GMS was the most flexible. Rob and his team were great to work with. When you meet Rob, he puts you at ease. He has many years of experience in wedding photography and was happy to show us his past works. The day of the wedding, Rob and his team met us at the venue and set up promptly. He was familiar with our venue and told us all these photogenic spots to take group photos. Rob and his team directed us for some photos but also accommodated to our suggestions. GMS photography is highly recommended.

I used videography services from GMS and Victor and Mike were wonderful. They arrived on time and immediately started working. They were very involved but also taped from afar. It was the perfect combination. They were willing to try new things like get a shot with a peacock and a princess and the frog theme haha. All around they were great and I would recommend them to anyone. I can't wait to see the video.

We loved GMS!!!! Esp Joalis :-) She was like a second mother to me! She helped with different posing, fixed my hair- Just very hands on. Something you do not find in a lot of companies. Rob and his team MADE our wedding!!! We originally had planned to book him for videography services only, but after a poor experience with another photographer in the area, we sought Rob out for more services. After only moments of sitting down with him, we knew instantly that we were in good hands and we would be taken care of on one of the most important days of our lives. Rob's personality, professionalism, and passion for what he does radiated all day at our wedding. Our wedding party of 25 people raved about his kindness, humor, and the way he worked with such a large group so well. He made my husband and I feel completely comfortable all day long, and he also let us relish in the moments throughout the day. I could tell he truly tried to capture who we were as a couple and our happiness and our guests' on our day. I truly believe we found the best in the business, and could not feel luckier to have worked with such a hard working, determined, genuine person and team. A wedding photographer is one of the most important aspects of the day, but even more important is truly liking and trusting that person throughout the day and afterwards. Rob and his team were amazing!!! They documented our special day with images that will last a life time!! They captured all the moments we requested as well as spontaneous moments! Where do I even begin. As soon as we met Rob we knew that we wanted to work with him. He was completely honest with us, extremely helpful, and such a nice guy!
I messed up big time and forgot to update them on important wedding details. Rob called me the week before to confirm everything and even though I had forgotten to keep them updated, and plans changed, they were able to adjust quickly and do everything we had asked for.
They are a great team!! We got to go in and watch our wedding video before it was printed and see the final product. They made sure we loved every part of it. And we LOVED it. They did such a good job with sound and video! It's amazing!
If you haven't picked a videographer yet, you need to contact them!!

Rob and his team were absolutely amazing. We were able to meet with him before hand and he put all our worries at ease. He did our engagement photos as well as all the wedding photography. Getting married on a Friday night I was worried about people being late but he showed up early to make sure he would be on time and started working. He was incredibly easy to work with and very professional. Sometimes formal pictures can be strenuous, boring, and stiff but he kept everyone at ease and having a good time. Both the formal pictures and the candid shots look great! Him and his assistant were like little photo ninjas! Entirely unobtrusive but they still managed to get all the shots I wanted. His prices were incredibly reasonable and the pictures still look just as amazing as photographers charging twice his rate. His turn around time for the pictures was unbelievably fast (about 2-3 weeks!). Most people I know had to wait at least 6 weeks for the wedding photos to come back. I would recommend GMS photo and video to anyone!

Rob and his wife did the photography and videography for my wedding (130 ple in Arlington, VA) and they were great!! They were very professional, my guests had the nicest things to say about them, and I really appreciated how respectful they were when coming in to take my 'getting dressed' shots (a room full of bridesmaids in various stages of undress and a team of photographers that included men). In addition to unbeatable prices, they helped us pick a backup photo shoot location when we realized our first choice would not be well lit at that time of day and the best suggestion they gave was to do a first-look session with my dad (bc I did NOT want my husband to see me before the ceremony). That experience with my dad was priceless and was one I would not have even thought about myself. I'm really glad I picked them to be our photographers!!

After our interview with Rob, my husband and I knew we wanted him to photograph our wedding. I was unsure of what I wanted, but Rob did a great job of answering questions and explaining his style of photography and presenting ideas for photos that could be taken during the wedding. He asked if we wanted “first look” photos, which I had never heard of. When he explained, I knew I didn't want to have the first look with my husband, but then he suggested the father/daughter first look. His description of it was so great I knew he should be the one to take the pictures he described.

On the day of my wedding, Rob and his assistant Erika were wonderful! Rob was professional but fun. Even though it was a small, simple wedding, he was able to get some very creative shots. The father/daughter first look pictures were awesome. Definitely lived up to Rob’s original vision and then some, He did great at capturing my Daddy’s joy. My husband and I and everyone else we have shown our pictures have loved them! I think my Aunt said it best, the pictures “tell a very happy story.”

Without question, I’d recommend Rob and GMS Photo and Video.

Everything was wonderful with the Photographer. He worked in such an efficient way that we were able to get family pictures, this was no small feet since we all come from large families. Rob even stayed past longer than he needed to ensure that he got all the pictures that he could to make sure that our daughter and son in law had special memories to look back on. I should also mention that my daughter hates to have her picture taken and Rob made her feel comfortable and helped her enjoy the process. His assistant, who was with the groom and his groomsmen, I understand did a wonderful job also and managed, even in the rain, to get some fun pictures of them. I look forward to see the end results but I trust that given what I have seen so far, it will all be well worth the wait.

Rob, Joalis,and their staff were probably one of the best decisions I made in regards to my wedding! I could not have asked for better wedding pictures or wedding video! From the start of the wedding planning process to the end, Rob was there for me every step of the way. He was also really excited about our country theme which made the whole experience better. Rob is not one of those “all business people” where they just take their pictures, mind their own, and just do their job. NO! Rob actually takes care in his craft to provide the most beautiful products that can be! He had his plan of what he wanted but also took the time to add in whatever miscellaneous pictures we wanted, as well as borrowing us for those extra pictures that truly capture what your venue has to offer. Rob makes sure you get every pennies worth and have the most remarkable day possible! I am a down to earth county girl and I have never felt like more of a queen that I did on my wedding day, and I have the best pictures in the world to show and remember it! Rob was the photographer for our wedding in August, 2014. Quite frankly, he was outstanding to work with. My wife and I found him incredibly easy to talk to. We met him at his place and spent time getting to know each other and talking about the wedding. He offered us a great price and took FANTASTIC pictures at the wedding. Throughout the entire process (before, during, and after the wedding) Rob was incredibly responsive, always willing to answer questions, stayed engaged, and kept us informed. My wife and I, as well as our guests, were very impressed by the quality and creativity of the pictures. He went above and beyond what we agreed to. Not because he had to (he didn't), but because he genuinely took an interest in our special day and wanted to truly capture it for us. For example, we contractually booked him for 7 hours, but he ended up coming about a half hour to 45min early to take pictures of my wife and me getting ready. We are 100% satisfied and actually recommended Rob to a friend of ours getting married. They booked him, and you should too.

We found GMS Photo & Video thru Thumbtack. The owner, Rob Diffenderfer was extremely prompt in contacting me and followed up regularly. He was friendly, yet professional and it was pretty obvious after talking to him that he had a good amount of experience doing weddings and most importantly his knowledge of different cultures which is so important in being able to capture the main events of the wedding. My husband and I visited his office and met with them and we were convinced after looking at their work in person. They did a good job covering all the important parts of our ceremony and reception (and we had many many events to cover). We were very happy when we received our DVD. The 4 minute vignette at the beginning was perfectly done. The video editing was very professionally done. We are quite happy with the result and would recommend them to any one in the area looking for a wedding videographer.

Rob and his team are truly great to work with! The videographer was a fun, creative talent and a professional that we feel lucky to have found. The team never got in the way or interfered with our night, but they still captured all of the best footage from the night. That takes extreme skills to accomplish, in my book. Plus, the price was extremely reasonable, considering they were on site with us for at least 10 hours. I would highly recommend GMS Photo and Video to brides on a budget, who are still looking for top quality work. Bravo!

Rob and his team were amazing! They arrived early and made us feel at ease from the moment they got to the venue. They captured all of the special moments that we had hoped for and had ideas that I hadn't even thought of! The entire team was so friendly, everyone loved them! The pictures are absolutely gorgeous, we couldn't be happier!! I would highly recommend Rob and the GMS team!

I was looking for photographer for my wedding, when one of my friend recommended me to GMS. Robert helped me with everything and set me up with Michael, who did my wedding photographs. I loved their service. Michael showed up before time and started on the photographs and upon request he even stayed late and did some of the single shots I wanted to do. I highly recommend GMS for photos and videos to anyone who is interested in getting great customer service and an outstanding photographs and videos taken. Thank you guys for the excellent service.

Rob was so great to work with! He responded quickly to every question we had and eased any anxieties we had about rain on our wedding day! He and his assistant worked patiently with our large party and were super flexible with timing for pictures. We could tell that he really takes time considering how to get the best pictures possible and we loved his excitement about having just the perfect lighting. We can't wait to see the rest of our pictures!!

In June of this year, 2014, Rob and Joalis provided video services for my daughter's and son-in-law's wedding in Washington, DC. We were so pleased with the professionalism, the master editing to make the video top-notch and, importantly, the knowledge of understanding what video content is important to the bride and groom and their families on wedding day. They knew what was important to us and incorporated it into the video-including a beautiful interview with the bride's grandmother (unknown to us) which is the intro to the clip. I highly recommend them!

GMS Photo & Video provided excellent service! They were so easy to work with and were extremely accommodating. Rob and Joalis and their crew were very professional. They went above and beyond for us, making sure all our special moments were captured on camera. We received our final copies of everything within a reasonable amount of time, and they did an exceptional job with our wedding photos and video!! We are ever so grateful to Rob and Joalis!!! They are just awesomely amazing!!!!! We can't thank them enough.... For saving the day.... For being just innately wonderful people and the most professional people to work with! ;-) the day has it's flaws, big ones, but they made it perfect!

When I met them, Robert told me not to worry, they will take care of us... they indeed did! Our photographer was another vendor and in the middle of the ceremony her camera just broke and she did not have any back up!!!! Robert was so nice to take our pictures instead (we only asked them to do the video) and he was so professional that he even lend his back up camera to the photographer we hired! His pictures were great! (trust me, I regretted why I didn't hire them for both photo & video)

They see to it that they get what is important and never leave you hanging, they consult you before anything else and most of all they take the event so important as their own!... We highly recommend them and of course I we will hire them again (no second thought).

To us they are just more than 5 stars!

Rob and Joalis did the videography for our wedding. They both have great personalities and were so easy to work with. They have a great eye and captured clips that were so amazing and even things our photographer wasn't able to capture really helping us complete our wedding keepsakes. They were willing to work with us more than we would imagine and we couldn't be more thankful. I would hire them again for sure and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Rob and his wife were so helpful. The weather was cloudy and rainy at times, but Rob made sure to use the time effectively to grab some awesome pictures. They also helped coordinate parts of my wedding since my wedding coordinator never showed up. They were flexible and changed the time for us last minute since that's what we needed. I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Rob provided remarkable and memorable service for our wedding day on June 29, 2014. Rob's phenomenal service started long before the actual event. We met with Rob and his wife to go over our expectations and to get some insight on how our special moments could be captured on photograph. Rob gave lots of wonderful suggestions based on his extensive experience. We also were able to view samples of his previous work as well, which were all beautifully done. The day of the wedding Rob and his assistant showed early and ready to get to work. During the event Rob interacted wonderfully with the attendees, while making every attempt to capture the most significant moments. Rob and his assistant's attendance was never a distraction from the event. The guests loved them! We would definitely recommend Rob for his professional, punctual, and personable work ethics.

I would just like to say that Rob and his wife did an awesome job at our wedding ceremony and reception. He met me at the hotel where I was leaving from to get a few shots of us preparing to leave and then headed over to the venue to get some shots with the guys before I arrived. He was very professional and a lot of my guests commented on how much they liked him. He is very personable and accommodating. While I haven't received my photos back yet, he did give a preview of about 6 photos and they are all great. I have no doubt that all of the photos will be of the same quality. I would definitely use GMS again.

Working with this vendor was great. He is very friendly and his price is reasonable. The main thing I really liked and appreciated is that he wasn't watching his clock every minute to leave on the time that I booked. He stayed longer to make sure he captured as much as he could. Rob and Joalis were amazing. We loved working with them. They tell the whole story of the wedding. They came early and stayed later than we expected. They were unobtrusive yet seemed to capture every memorable moment. They visited the venue with us prior to the wedding so they could plan better. They were extremely responsive. Our daughter's wedding was Sunday night and we received a highlights reel on Wednesday. What they got on a 2 minute preview reel lets me know that our final product will not disappoint. I highly recommend Rob and Joalis for their creativity, ease to work with, and talent.

Michael was amazing! He was very professiona land enthusiastic! He made sure we got all the shots we wanted! The few pictures I've seen so far are beautiful and we cant wait to see the rest! I would highly recommend Michael at GMS Photography!!! *** My edit to this review, although I would still recommend GMS photo and am still giving them a 5/5 rating I do have one disappointment from our pictures. We chose an Inn on the Chesapeake Bay surrounded by water to have our wedding. We also chose to have our wedding in the evening so we could use the natural beauty and the sunset as the back drop to our pictures. Unfortunately this beautiful sunset (the sky and beautiful reflection on the water) weren't captured in our background. Although the pictures were beautiful, the background was very bland and almost non colorful. The owner Rob tried to work with me and fix some of our photos by adding color. Unfortunately the way the pictures were shot, the sunset was not captured. The whole reason we picked our location was for the location. There is still disappointment in my heart that the beauty of our location was not capture in our photos. So, if you do chose GMS make sure you tell them exactly what you want, including if you want to use the sunset as your backdrop. I want to save any other couples from facing the disappointment that we feel. I want to say again though, that I would still recommend GMS and that the owner Rob attempted to rectify the situation, but was unfortunately not able to.

Rob and Joalis were great to work with. We met them a number of months prior to our wedding and liked them right away (they are the kind of people you would want to be friends with). They were responsive when we communicated before the wedding, and were helpful, prompt, and professional on the day of. It was clear that they knew what they were doing and that made us feel at ease, especially on the wedding day. For example, well ahead of the time our guests were due to arrive at the church they had already scoped it out and figured out the best places to set up. We thought it would just be the two of them coming but they had two others with them. It has only been a few days since the wedding so we've just gotten a "sneak peak" at some photos but what we've seen so far looks beautiful! If you are looking for great photography and videography services at a reasonable price from nice people, Rob and Joalis are it! Thanks very much!

My Wife and I used GMS Photo and Video for both our engagement and wedding. Rob was able to capture the proposal and worked with my plans to surprise my then fiance. We also used GMS for the wedding also and they did a great job. They are very quick to turnaround photos and video and are very responsive. I would definitely recommend GMS.

Rob and his team are great to work with! Very professional and a master of the craft. We had Mike as our photographer and he sets the bar very high for himself. GMS Photography was a service that my then-fiancee discovered by chance when researching various Photographers. From our initial correspondence, their rates seemed incredible, so I was a bit skeptical because I know how easy it is to blow a ton of money on a photographer when you don't always even get the rights to your own pictures. After meeting with Rob and his wife, I was impressed. The man clearly knows how to run a business and market himself well. He has a great eye for shots and it was nice to be able to see some of his landscape/subject photography work other than what he does for his wedding business. He was easy to talk to and very straightforward. There was no one who came even close to what he was offering in terms of price, let alone the fact that we get both a DVD of high resolution pics, an online album to share w/ friends & family, and the rights to our pictures. Business is going very well for him, so at times he can get a little busy but he does return any messages you send him within a reasonable amount of time. He is professional, courteous, flexible, and extremely good-natured. He and his wife were a joy to work with and I'm very happy with the way our photos turned out.
