Excellent Entertainment Vendor!

We are so happy to have RLF Society part of our wedding! The entire team from our MC, DJ, and Lighting completed our night! The entire team are easy to work with, accommodating to our style of music, fast to communicate with us, and enhanced our venue with their talented vision of lights. RLF Society offers an abundance of services that made our wedding planning experience so much easier. They prepared a beautiful backdrop and photobooth area for us as well as provided our dreamy cloud effect during our first dance with cold sparks. We definitely highly recommend RLF Society as the complete package to your once-in-a-lifetime celebration to remember!

Absolutely loved their work. Very easy to work with and they offer different packages for every budget. They definitely took our requests into consideration and were very accommodating.

Great DJ!!!

John provided excellent music and MC for our wedding! He has other services as well, such as name monograms and sparklers. The monogram was a beautiful touch for our sweetheart table. DJ's/Music is a super important part of a wedding, so get a good one! Highly recommended.

Loved RLF society!!

Johnny was responsive and communicative throughout the whole planning process! He was wonderful to work with and had great suggestions. DJ Chris was wonderful at our wedding and did an awesome job as well. We booked our photo booth and lighting through them which made things SO much easier. They set it all up and it made the venue look like a party scene once the open dancing started. Loved it! Would recommend RLF society to anyone and everyone!

Finest DJing Service in DFW!

We were looking for a good DJ for our special day and Johnny and his team set everything up according to our wishes. Even with any last minute changes he was able to accommodate our needs. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a high quality and professional DJ.

Amazing Dj

The most amazing Dj I’ve ever worked with. From the start to finish John was the nicest and easiest person to work with! With everything that goes with planning a wedding I was thankful for how easy John made everything. I 110% recommend John and RLF for not only for weddings but for any event you have. He was able to get me a photo booth and was absolutely amazing. They have a portal you can input songs which made it super easy. He was in constant contact and answered everyone of my questions. He also did my monogram and it looked amazing. They also did the uplifting which really made the venue pop and beautiful. I cannot say enough nice things about this company. Thank you for everything you did and was phenomenal job you did. It was the most amazing night of my life!

AMAZING DJ/Entertainment & Photobooth

Words can't describe how amazing John is! He is literally sooo easy going. I booked him for DJ/lighting first, then added on photobooth, then added on the dancing on cloud effect! And EVERY time he was nice and prompt with responding! We filled out the DJ form and he understood everything I put and didn't need an explanation. We had an NBA inspired entrance, and he said he was going to the lights like how they do it in the NBA! We didn't even think about that and he did!!!!! His setup and lights were beyond great and were the finishes to our reception. We LOVED all the music he played and he even played everything we wanted! He was great at announcing things for us too such as letting our guests know to sit, and telling our guests there's an open bar and photobooth, and announcing to the guest our dances and cake cutting and etc. So we originally had a timeline of when we were going to do each event, but he allowed us to rush it so we were able to spend the last two hours mingling and dancing with everyone! He is the sweetest and super easy going and gave us everything we wanted & more. We can't thank you enough John and RLF Society for everything you guys have done!!! The reception wouldn't be complete without you!

Seamless, amazing, and no extra stress!!!!

With the whole stress of planning a wedding, vendors not showing up on time, not returning our emails or calls, RLF Society went above and beyond in communication anything and everything we had questions about. They assisted in making this one of the most important days of our lives, as well as made it as seamless as possible! There was no stress, worry, or question about Then handling our lighting, ceremony music and microphones, as well as our photo booth!! The guests and us alike LOVED the experience that they helped us provide, but man oh man was that photo booth something EVERYONE loved!!

We can’t thank you guys enough for doing such an amazing job! Thank you so so much!

Exactly what I wanted!

Our wedding reception was exactly what I wanted. The planning tools made it easy to organize the sequence of events and to make special requests if needed. The LED uplighting provided enhanced the decor and everyone enjoyed the photo booth! A link to all pictures from the photo booth was provided soon after our wedding for all to view, which many of our guests appreciated. Our DJ/MC was John Hoang and he did not disappoint! You can always expect great music when John is the DJ. He has an awesome selection of music from many genres and was able to include our specific song requests as well. He kept our guests dancing and singing until the very end. Thank you for making our reception memorable for all!

RLF provided a DJ, lighting, and photo booth for my wedding reception on 4/7/18. There are a lot of personalized options to choose from for the photo booth prints and for the monogram lighting. The DJ, Chris Tran, was excellent. He was especially good at emceeing! Very clear and easy to understand, and very energetic which makes a huge impact on the flow of the reception. I think we changed the schedule a couple times and he was on point throughout the night. We really appreciated that. Everyone had a really good time, and dance floor stayed full. The photo booth was awesome. The best part is that the images were posted online for all guests to view! It was posted fairly quickly. I didn't get a chance to see and talk to everyone as much as I would have liked to, so seeing those images a couple days later was perfect. That was a huge plus. Thank you RLF, and thank you Chris!

RLF is the only wedding\event vendor you should use. They are booked every weekend for a reason. It was such a pleasure working with the RLF team. Everyone is very professional and amazing at what they do. Their lighting, sound system and range of services made our vision into reality. We absolutely love RLF Society Events. We used RLF for our MC/DJ/Lighting & sound system, as well as their photo booth for our wedding this past November. They were very professional and accommodating. We gave them a list of songs that we wanted to have played during the reception and they did that plus more. All of our guests complimented on the music selection and we have to give kudos to our DJ DisBJohn. Our first dance was very rememberable and romantic because RLF provided us with smoke on the dance floor. The illusion they created helped our first dance pictures turn out great. And all the guests loved our photo booth! We would highly recommend RLF for their quality of service, devotion and passion.

My experience with RLF Society was absolutely perfect! Everything was so professional and organized. John was my DJ, MC, sound, and lighting coordinator. He made sure my wedding kept running smoothly, listened to all of my needs and more! He exceeded my expectations! My guests could not stop talking about how awesome the music and entertainment was! Everyone loved the music, and the photobooth was a hit! I gave the DJ a few examples of songs we like, and he came up with the rest of the playlist. You won't go wrong with them, and they were very easy to work with, and again my guests loved the music they played!

John was awesome! He was great with our introductions, and he stuck with our playlist plus played some requests from our guests. One guest told me that she had never seen the dance floor at a wedding so consistently packed, and another even said she wanted to fly him out for their upcoming wedding in San Francisco! It was a pleasure working with him, and we will definitely recommend him to anyone needing a DJ!

John Hoang was the DJ for our wedding. He did an AWESOME job with the lighting and music. Everyone had a GREAT time and Loved the music. The Music and talented DJ is what made it a memorable wedding party. We would definitely hire him again for any future events and recommend them to anyone.

I had a wedding a month ago and I enjoyed working with John and his company. In the beginning, we only requested his dj services and then my partner wanted special effects lighting 2 weeks before the wedding. I didn't care for it, but I am glad we did because it changed the atmosphere and mood of the venue! A couple of days before the wedding, some of my family members requested for a photobooth and John was able to accommodate us last minute as well and creating a photo design for us. I am so glad we got the special lighting and photobooth, it was money well spent.

John and his company were quick to respond and they were flexible especially with out last minute requests and changes. They were one of my favorite vendors to work with and I will definitely work with/recommend them in the future. I read reviews and have always been skeptical about vendors with perfect 5-star ratings. After working with John, I know it is possible!

Choosing RLF Society was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We were extremely pleased with everything and John was absolutely perfect.

We had a Vietnamese/American wedding, so John did a great job keeping both groups of people happy by playing a mixture of music. The most important thing was the ease of planning. Our wedding took place in Texas, but we planned the entire event long distance from Florida (super difficult!!!). The online tools were easy to use, and John was always very prompt in replying to emails. We never had to wait very long for his replies, which is a definite plus when planning a wedding from far away.

RLF Society also did the uplighting for our venue and it was beautiful. I did not know what to expect since I didn't really specify much on that, but when I walked into the reception hall, I was blown away at how gorgeous it looked! These guys really know what they're doing and will make sure that your venue looks awesome!

Another thing I appreciated was that John kept our wedding events on schedule and made sure we did things on time since I know I wasn't keeping track of time. I had a blast at my wedding, and a large part of it was due to the great job by RLF Society!

So happy with RLF and all the services they provided. From watching to dance floor to see how the people were reacting to the music to keep the energy up, to the LED lighting that changed with a push if a button to set different moods thru out the night and especially the photo booth with great props that kept people entertained were just some of the small details I did not expect. Everyone had many pictures to take home for keepsake. There's was an online gallery people were able to digitally Download as well. Highly recommended, these professionals.

RLF Society performed for our wedding in Houston, TX on January 4, 2014. They were very professional and their quality of work was excellent. We used RLF Society for our wedding in November. It’s been a month since our wedding and we’re still reminiscing on how fantastic the atmosphere was at our wedding by going with RLF. Choosing them was the best decision we’ve ever made. They made our night nothing short from PERFECT! No words could describe how thankful we are to have found them. They provided us with the DJ services, MC, monogram and an awesome photo booth. Songs played can be personally selected by you or requested by your guest. The best one's are the ones the DJ"s mix himself! The MC, Lou did such a wonderful job. He was able to express our gratitude to our guest in ways we weren’t able to. The entire team of RLF, from John to DJ Shadee accommodated all our needs before, during and after the wedding. They were quick on responses and made sure we were happy with our services. We got nothing but compliments from out guest on how much fun they had at our wedding thanks to RLF Society! They're wonderful, awesome, and the BEST DJ service in town! They truly are great people with such professional services. I recommend RLF to every bride/groom out there! They should be your only choice when it comes down finding a DJ! John was the perfect DJ at our wedding this past weekend. Very professional, easy to work with, and responds to inquiries in a timely manner. We also rented the photobooth through his company and the guests loved it! We are extremely pleased with RLF and would recommend them to all of our friends and family. Planning a wedding can be very hectic and a very stressful event. It helps to have easy to work with vendors that understand your needs and are willing to go above and beyond to provide everything that you need with ease and comfort. That is exactly what my wife and I received with RLF Society. We were skeptical at first since RLF Society isn't based locally where we were at, but they made every effort necessary to come down in person to speak to us and to fully understand what we need and what for our wedding. Every channel of communication was available to use, their portal system made song selections, entrance details, and other details very easy to track and communicate through. At the end of the day, we were absolutely happy and glad that we chose RLF Society to DJ our wedding. Aside from us, all our guests kept complimenting them and asking us where did we find them because they did an excellent job from setting the right mood with each song, announcing each upcoming event, and even provided lighting to light up the entire reception hall. My wife and I would highly recommend contacting RLF Society to provide DJ services on your event. Thanks guys!!

There are not enough words to say just how fantastic RLF Society is. I was on an incredibly tight budget with a completely DIY wedding that was planned in 3 months and RLF took my wedding to a completely different level that I thought was going to be impossible to achieve in such a short amount of time with such a short amount of money. They were my biggest expense, but worth every cent. The uplighting they provided turned my otherwise very blank venue into something exquisite. Their DJs kept ALL of my guests on the dance floor the entire night. The photobooth was customizable & I couldn't be more thrilled at how much fun my guests had with it. The emcee took my ideas and made them happen exactly the way I wanted, when I wanted. Real love forever is what I definitely have for these guys :)

RLF Society Events did a great job at my wedding! Our parents wanted to hire a band to have some Vietnamese music played during the wedding and they were worried about having a DJ. Now after, they really enjoyed our DJ John and the RLF staff. Everybody had a great time and enjoyed themselves. They were very accomodating and made sure everything was on track. We also hired them for the photobooth services and it was also a hit. They customized a layout that included one of our engagement photos, and they had a bunch of different props. It was great to see all the photos afterwards.

This guy was very professional and very flexible with our needs. Our wedding reception was a bit unorganized, but he pulled through and made everything seem fine. Highly recommended!!!

I had several people refer me to John Hoang as a DJ for our wedding. I was very glad they did! John was extremely organized and professional. He was willing to meet with us when I had questions or concerns about the events on the wedding day. During the actual day of the wedding we were pressed for time, John was able to smoothly blend the events together to save some time for us. Also, he was very involved with me in choosing the layout of the events on the wedding night. The DJ booth was beautiful, the photo booth pictures were customized to match our wedding colors, and the quality and song choices of the music was AMAZING! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY, recommend John Hoang from RLF Society Events!!! Our wedding night was perfect, and it wouldn't have been possible without John Hoang!

Disbjohn & Phaze were very professional to work with. All I had to do was tell them my uplighting color that went with my wedding and the songs that I wanted for my entrance, cutting the cake, first dance, father daughter dance ect and they went ahead and did everything perfectly. The monogram John designed for us was very eye catching for all our guest and we had lots of compliments on how elegant the venue came out to be with the lights. I highly recommend them for all your lighting and Dj services. Not to mention they came from dallas all the way to austin! Thank you so much guys for making my wedding so memorable! DJ Johnny was great! He played everything we asked him to and his own playlist during dinner was great as well! We had such a diverse crowd but the music brought everyone together! Everyone was on the dance floor and I can't thank Johnny enough for that. I still have guests reminding me of how much fun they had dancing on that evening!

RLF provided great input and service prior to and on the day of my wedding. They met with me before the wedding to finalize all music and expectations and also communicated via email to make sure to personalize everything that I wanted on my wedding day. They were responsive to specific requests at the reception and I received many compliments on music and professionalism from guests. Set up and tear down was taken care of so there's at least one thing you don't have to worry about.

if you're looking for a good party, I highly recommend them :)

RLF Society Events provided me a DJ and lighting for my wedding. They were very accommodating to make sure everything was perfectly the way I wanted it. They were quick at respond to all of my questions and concerns, and never made me feel like I was bothersome. They were awesome!

We are delighted to have had him at our wedding! John is very professional but at the same time very warm hearted. He cares about the couple's happiness and does his very best to meet expectations! John was a wonderful DJ and MC! He went above and beyond in making sure that our wedding day went smoothly. All of the guests raved about the music and overall atmosphere. The photos and slideshow were an added bonus. :) I would definitely recommend him to others.

We got lucky and found not 1 but 2 awesome DJ's for our reception. DisbJohn really went out of his way by working around the clock to ensure that ALL of our needs were met. He has all the tools and toys to really capture and elevate the biggest day of our lives. Thanks to both Phaze & DisbJohn for the great memories that we'll treasure for the rest of our lives!!!

I booked with RLF because I had a high recommendation from a friend of mine. I trusted her because she's been to a ton of weddings, and she is a girl who knows good quality. I could not be happier with our decision. Seriously, the BEST wedding DJ I have ever heard and it was proven by how everyone said they had so much fun at the wedding. He kept everyone on the dance floor. The days before the wedding were very easy -- he answers emails quick, flexible to change, and very professional. They were such a big reason to why our wedding was so much fun. Plus has a huge repertoire of songs and a program that helps you figure out what songs to use. Also, we had some unique requests and he delivered!!! Our lightening and monogram were awesome and loved the photos. :) They met all our expectations AND MORE. In the future, we would definitely book RLF again for our events.

John was totally professional and impeccable at our wedding. He was very accommodating with last minute changes and impromptu requests during the ceremony and reception. He also shared pictures and videos of the wedding which were really good and invaluable while we wait for our official photos. Used for my wedding. Very well done event, I have nothing negative to say. Didn't have to spend hours with music instruction. Selected my ceremony songs and gave general guidance reception and they nailed it, many guests commented the music was great. The lighting was an unforseen plus for the ceremony. Take advantage of the photography option. Would highly recommend.

John was very professional, and communicated clearly what was needed of us to make the experience a great one for our friends and family. He listened to what we wanted, and gave us suggestions. We, along with all of our guests were so pleasantly surprised at the finished product with the lighting of the stage area, and everyone (older guests included) made their way down to the dance floor and danced the night away. We were so happy with the selection of music, the ambiance which was created by the lights and music, and the exceptional customer service we received. Thanks again for an unforgettable night that we will forever cherish.

I cannot say thanks enough to Chris, who made my wedding reception super fun. We've got tons of compliments on the music. The Lightning, MC, and Photobooth were also great. We're very happy and totally satisfied! Highly recommended!

John and Kevin were awesome!! They heard what we liked and went with it, but we told them to do what they do because we trust them (which I highly recommend, do NOT micromanage your DJs!!!), and it was perfect! So many of our guests raved about how it was one of the most fun weddings they had been to, and most of that was attributed to the music. And thank you for the memorable moment of my husband serenading his brother and sister-in-law since it was their wedding anniversary as well that night. I don't think we could've plan that impromptu performance any better.

We booked RLF Society for reception DJ for 4 hours and their price was pretty fair. They use an online system to pick the songs, so it's pretty easy and intuitive. I would recommend them again.

John was willing to work with us on selecting packages to suit our budget needs. Not only was he professional, but the quality of service at our reception was amazing!! He was a great emcee/DJ as our entire dance floor was filled with guests dancing.

He also provided karaoke services and Photo Booth rental which all of our guests loved!

He truly made the night a memorable one!

RLF society, took the time to listen to my ideas and incorporate my theme with gobo lighting, and Foto Box photo paper layout and backdrop.

They have moderen state of the art equipment and lighting that is available for rent.

I like the online tool that is provided to the customer so that the customer can input the preferred music and wedding day scheduling.

On the day of the event, these guys were professional, on-time, and were quick to work on ad-hoc requests. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone that is looking!

I got so many compliments on the music, the lighting and monogram was beautiful. Dj Dis B John work was very tidy which I appreciate. The sound system was such a bonus especially love the lited DJ booth, it made it a real party.

I'm happy to have them for my wedding

RLF Society did a good job at our wedding. I asked them to play songs from Coldplay and others and of course they played the best! During the dance, they also played Cupid Shuffle and the other dancing songs, which I think is tacky but really necessary considering that no one was dancing.
They were very responsive, but at the same time, seem to be managed by Kirk (the manager of Zander's House). My only grievance was that they reached out to me for my wedding schedule for the first time two weeks before the wedding day, at which point I was pulling my hair out. I recommend that you have your applicants fill out your form prior to the event, and then touch base again two weeks before the event for any changes.

My wedding experience would have been better without RLF Society there

I have nothing good to say about RLF Society. My wife and I had a fear before the wedding that RLF would not meet our expectations and that fear came true. Johnny Nguyen met with us several times before the wedding to help plan the music that would be played at our wedding, but after each meeting, Johnny would seem to forget what we discussed. Every time we had a question for Johnny, there would either be a delayed response time or he would respond with something completely irrelevant. For example, we requested a specific genre for our cocktail hour and asked for a sample playlist, and Johnny provided us a playlist of a completely different genre than from what we had originally requested. I just felt that every time we spoke, there was a 50% chance that he would forget what we discussed after the meeting. We were so concerned that we brought up our worries a couple weeks prior to the wedding date. Johnny agreed to meet up to comfort us and to let us know that we shouldn't be worried, but guess what, on our wedding day, here's the kicker, Johnny didn't even show up. His peer John Hoang showed up instead. My wife and I were never informed of this last minute change. To add to this, John didn't even introduce himself to me or my wife at all. He never even said "Hey just FYI, I am DJing today instead of Johnny" which I find completely unprofessional. I had to introduce myself to the DJ. All the songs I had requested through the company's portal were not played. Note that I had spent up to 10 hours researching songs and posting these requests on the portal. Furthermore, the genre of music played during the open dance was completely wrong. I, myself, had to go to the DJ and tell him to stop whatever he was playing and to switch to the genre of music I had originally requested in the portal. Additionally, John's MCing ability is sub par at best. He introduced the groomsmen at the wrong time when the grandparents were supposed to be introduced, and the groomsmen had to walk out then walk back in which was very awkward. OH and what really upset me was that at the end of the night when I was having a great time, right before the Grand Exit, the DJ wanted to discuss money and the remaining balance, that brought me from a happy-level of 10 to a happy-level of 1. Like why not discuss this in the weeks leading up to the wedding day and not on the actual wedding day? I heard RLF comprised of former nightclub DJs - maybe they should stay in that industry as opposed to the wedding industry, though I have reason to doubt their success in the nightclub arena as well. Honestly, 1-star is the lowest rating I can give. If I could give negative stars for RLF Society I would.
