More than photographers

Kyle and Tracy were more than just photographers to us on our wedding day. They made helpful suggestions for the schedule and flow of our day that allowed for us to focus on the real meaning of the day. They were always responsive to emails, answered our numerous questions, and invited us over for dinner to look over our pictures when they were finished. Since our wedding, another set of our friends have booked Kyle and Tracy for their own wedding as well. They got along so well with all of our family and friends, and they fit right in with all of the days activities!

Great Job with our Wedding!!

Our photographers from RKH were amazing! We had such a good experience from our first call. They made us super comfortable with taking photos even though my husband doesn’t like having his photo taken. Then made us so comfortable and at ease, it was such a good experience. They also did a great job capturing all the best moments of the reception. I couldn’t recommend more!

Best Photography Team!! Tracy & Kyle

Tracy & Kyle are fantastic artists and teammates! They made our wedding experience such a fun journey every step of the way and we were blown away by how fantastic all of our photos turned out in both our engagement and wedding day photos. We met with them in-person twice for consultations and felt so comfortable talking with them and sharing our experiences as fellow wedding-industry workers. The rate at which we received our photos after our engagement shoot and our wedding was perfect! They sent a few samples that showed the quality and attention to detail, and the remaining complete albums were sent within a week! So fast but so much attention to detail and great editing. We also loved their blog posts as a way to share photos with friends and family and we enjoyed browsing other couples' albums as well! As a same-sex mixed race couple, we really appreciated their wide portfolio of diverse couples of LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients.

Loved working with them!

I'm a wedding planner who worked with RKH Images a few weeks ago at a wedding, and they were so great to work with! Leading up to the wedding day they were very responsive and easy to work with, and the day of was no exception. Highly recommend if you're looking for a photographer!

- For us, communication was a top priority in selecting wedding vendors— if someone is difficult to reach or not responsive, we don’t want to work with them. Tracy is so on the ball and proactive

Stunningly beautiful wedding photos!

Kyle and Tracy were absolutely wonderful to work with! They took us on as clients only a couple months before our wedding, shared great resources and helped us prepare the list of shots we wanted for our wedding day. They had great communication and would check in to make sure everyone was on the same page. The engagement photos were awesome and were ready within a few days so we were able to display them at our wedding party and we received so many compliments on the photos. For our wedding, they both made sure we got a variety of shots in different areas including some stunning photos of the snow falling around us. Our wedding photos were ready in under a week and so many of them were otherworldly beautiful. Tracy and Kyle are true artists and will capture the uniqueness of your relationship. We are so happy a friend recommended us to RKH Images and highly recommend them!

Stop right here!

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to read my review. If you are anything like me you are skeptical and do not know where to begin when looking for a photographer. I found Kyle and Tracy (RKH) on Zola and proceeded to check every website I could for reviews. As such I am leaving a review on every site I can find them. I scrolled through hundreds and could find one short of 5 stars. Trust me when I tell you stop right here ALL, and I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE I FOUND of the reviews were 5 stars and still FELL SHORT of how amazing and easy it was to work with them.
If you don’t believe me yet I want to outline a few things about Kyle and Tracy.
Our first time reaching out was via email and we received an almost immediate response which set us up with a phone call meeting. To be fair we set up 3 meetings with different photographers and Kyle and Tracy was our first call. Kyle is very experienced in shooting many different events including weddings. We enjoyed him thoroughly answering our questions and sharing experiences he has had. Outside of this he was genuinely interested in asking us about our story, where we met, how long we have been together etc. This was a tremendous surprise as we thought it would be straight business. When we hung up not only did, we already know they were the photographers we wanted to go with, it also felt like we made new friends. Over the next 5 months and several exchanges of emails and phone calls we were all set for our big day. If that wasn’t enough, they also took time aside to meet us in person as we were no longer local.
On the wedding day!
Kyle and Tracy showed up early and with plenty of energy. The teamwork we experienced on the phone was amplified in person and everything they prepared us for made the day that much more enjoyable. I want to skip over the experience of taking candid shots (their gallery speaks for itself) and talk about some of the special requests we made. Planning a wedding in Minnesota can be tricky with the weather so during planning we went over a few different scenarios. We started off wanting photos of the ceremony inside the church and a few outside of the reception venue, weather permitting we wanted a couple with a sunset. What we got were amazing photos of the ceremony, our wedding party, guests, large family photos, AND many many artistic shots. These include sunset and nighttime photos (Check out their gallery and Instagram). It wasn’t enough for them to take photographs for ~9hours and go home. They made the experience so enjoyable for parents and bridal party members such that they went looking for Kyle and Tracy to say goodbye. Just before they left Tracy pulled me aside for just a moment to tell me to check my phone as she had already sent me a preview of 5 photos from the day. Seriously, when else do you get to leave your wedding with a preview in your pocket?!?
What is a good review without covering the negative side? My only regret with hiring them is that even with all of the preparation and hard work they put in before the wedding is I didn’t bring enough to tip. We went around and asked a few people if they had cash so we could leave them as much as we could before they left.
If you made it this far the next thing you should do is call them right away!

Wonderful couple with IMMENSE talent

I cannot thank Kyle and Tracy enough for sharing their talent with us on our wedding day. It was really important to me that our photographers were kind, down to earth people who were going to capture us perfectly in our element. After meeting them, they felt like fast friends which helps immensely on a stressful day. I cannot recommend them enough if you are looking for incredible, beautiful, memorable photos from a couple of wonderful people! We are forever grateful!

Photos we will cherish FOREVER!!

I've said this in other reviews, but RKH Images gave us photography that we will cherish forever. These are photos I plan on showing my grandchildren. They're so beautiful and Kyle and Tracy are such wonderful people to work with. I recommend them a million times over.

Amazing photos

We absolutely love our wedding photos. Tracy and Kyle did an incredible job. They are extremely talented. We appreciate their flexibility with our wedding date and venue change it was huge during these crazy times. The photos exceeded our expectations. Fabulous Photographers!

Fabulous photographers! This couple did an outstanding job of photographing our daughter's beautiful wedding. They were on time, were very professional, and above all, were very creative and talented in taking the pictures. It had rained a little the evening of the wedding, and they took advantage of the rain and umbrellas to take some absolutely stunning pictures using and rain as the backdrop. In addition, they took pictures that I wouldn't have even thought of taking, along with meeting our requests for special ones we would like to have taken. They were easy to work with, and we now have absolutely stunning pictures to remember our daughter's wedding day. I highly recommend them!

Personable and Professional and Fun!

Covid really through my now husband and I for a loop. We were supposed to have a big wedding out of state but for safety reasons, decided to have a smaller-scale wedding where we live. We found RKH images kind of last minute and they were genuinely the best part of our whole day. Leading up to our wedding, we spoke on the phone a few times to kind of get an idea of what we were hoping for. They delivered on everything we hoped for! They even helped capture the moment where we shared with our family that we were expecting! That had many creative ideas for shots during our first look and made everyone look great in their photographs even though it was 100 degrees that day. Since then, they have done our pregnancy announcement photos and our son's newborn photos. We are lucky to have them be part of our family!

Photos of my dreams!

Tracy and Kyle were absolutely amazing. They are well organized and so helpful throughout the entire process. They listened to our needs and the photos turned out better than I could have ever expected. We were supposed to have had a large wedding at Target Field that was canceled due to Covid. These two were very understanding and super supportive. We did keep our original date, however, we significantly different than what we originally planned. Tracy and Kyle have become more than just our photographers, they have become friends. We will only use them for any photography needs in the future, plus they are very LGBTQ+ friendly. If you are looking for an amazing photographer, look no further than Tracy and Kyle! You will not be disappointed.

Amazing and so flexible

These two are so amazing!! You tell them your vision and they make it happen!! We had a vision that they had never done before and man did they have fun with it. A couple of the most caring people will ever meet!

Tracy and Kyle photographed our wedding this summer. We are recommending them to EVERYONE. Why?? Not only are they wonderful photographers, but they are truly caring people who want to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. Getting married in 2020 has been a real ordeal. We dealt with so much. Making simple phone calls to vendors was something that we emotionally had to prepare for because we had no idea what to expect. Not only were Tracy and Kyle easy to work with in regards to the postponement of our original date, they were there for us. I must have emailed Tracy a dozen times and she responded within minutes, always with an ear to just listen. Even if I needed to just vent about things going on, she would listen and ask if there was anything she could do to help make it better. Both Kyle and Tracy took care to wear masks and distance themselves properly from our guests on our day, photographing with long lenses when necessary. They would always ask if people were comfortable with them approaching anyone. Right now, no one has any idea how anyone else feels, so their concern made everyone comfortable. The day flew by smoothly and efficiently and they got photos of everything. Everything we wanted, things we don't even remember seeing, and more. We absolutely loved our photos and loved working with them. In a time where you are seeing everyone's true colors, seeing people like them that are clearly very caring means the world.

Top Notch Photography Team & Photos

Full disclosure - our wedding was Sept 2018, but here is the review we wrote for another review site right after the wedding:
We loved working with this husband-wife team on our engagement and wedding photos! They captured so many great photos of our day, and Kyle even captured an epic photo of my new husband dropping me during the dip at the end of our first dance - thanks to Kyle, my hubby will never live it down in our family! Kyle busted his butt fluffing and prepping my dress so it looked beautiful in all the wedding photos. Tracy is incredibly organized with setting up meetings, the engagement shoot, wedding day timeline, etc and was quick to respond to all our emails. She also shoots with Kyle and does a lot of the editing - including getting the extra redness and sweat off everyone’s faces on what was a very hot, humid wedding day. They know how to keep things light and fun when it gets awkward being in front of a camera for several hours and are generally just very nice people. Perhaps most importantly, their calmness on wedding day helped me to stay relaxed and enjoy the day. These two know what they’re doing, and they do it well. Highly recommend them!

THE BEST EVER! Tracy and Kyle photographed our wedding this summer and they were better than we could have imagined. The absolute BEST!!

Kyle and Tracy are an unbeatable pair- seriously THE BEST! Erik and I met with a few other photographers but we didn't have a connection with any of them (something that was important to us). We knew within minutes of meeting with RKH that they were the ones we had to have for our wedding. They were well organized and very responsive to my emails. Come the big day they surpassed our expectations! We laughed so much and it felt so natural. Fun and professional

We had the best time shooting our engagement photos with Kyle and Tracy. We shot them in Stillwater, MN last November. It was SO cold but the photos turned our amazing. Besides incredibly talented, if I could use only one word to describe Kyle and Tracy, I would say caring. They CARE so much about your wedding day. It's easy to say they were the most helpful people working at our wedding. It was a big day and they kept us both not only calm, but happy and stress free. Before the wedding, they helped us plan out details nearly a year in advance and were always there to answer the huge amount of questions I had. That means a lot. My husband and I knew the moment we met Kyle and Tracy that they were going to be our photographers. We just got our wedding photos back from Kyle and Tracy. We cannot say enough about them. They are very professional, but also so friendly. When I looked for a wedding photographer, I didn’t realize how close we would be to them for our whole day. I’m so glad we found someone we felt comfortable around and someone who cared about our day the way they did. They were there for every step of the day, but somehow were invisible when they needed to be, so as not to get in the way of our guests and us. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

One of the best decisions we made when planning was to use RKH Images to capture our wedding. I cannot say enough about how happy we are about that decision. They were both very professional and fun. They had had created a timeline ahead of time to make sure that the day went smoothly and also left in time for in case anything came up. It was more helpful than I could have imagined because things did come up. I never would have thought how much time would get lost when members of our wedding party were not ready on time. Because of their professionalism, they were able to work with the time crunch and still get us everything we wanted and more. Absolutely phenomenal photography, both candid ones that we liked and more traditional shots for the parents. I will be recommending them in the future.

When we chose a photographer for our wedding, I was concerned about my husband, as he really doesn’t like having his photo taken. We did our engagement photos with Kyle and Tracy and they made him so comfortable. I was already eager to get photos taken, but my husband was not and to see that someone was able to get not only good photos of him, but to get him excited about it, was downright incredible. They continued to amaze us during our year long engagement. Tracy was always there when I emailed her question after question and on the day of, they got along so well with all our guests. Our photos turned out beautiful!

Kyle and Tracy are deserving of the highest of praise. They made not only my wife and me very comfortable on the day of our wedding, but our family and guests loved them as well. LOVE RKH IMAGES!!! Kyle and Tracy were very fun and well rounded people who also had enough experience and talent to keep me calm. I was a very anxious and nervous bride, driving everyone around me crazy. One thing I didn’t have to worry about was our photography because whenever I had a question, which was very often, I knew that Tracy would have the answer instantly. I emailed her a lot throughout the year planning with a variety of questions regarding weather, colors, timelines, and so much more. She was very patient with me and explained everything so well. The day of the wedding they showed up and scouted out our venue for a first look location because I couldn’t find one. Kyle found a great spot on a staircase and I loved the outcome. Both of them were able to keep me calm before the ceremony and once they ceremony was over, it was just fun. They got amazing shots of our whole day. Kyle and Tracy shot our wedding this last summer and were THE BEST. We loved their dedication to our day and us. They really care about their customers and you can tell they have a passion for what they do. A tip – when you hire them, if you have to leave partway through your reception to catch the sunset for photos, DO IT. They asked us if we wanted to take ten minutes to get sunset photos and they were our favorite photos of the whole day. Absolutely amazing.

My wife and I hired Kyle and Tracy as photographers for our New Years Eve wedding and they were INCREDIBLE!!! We had booked them on very short notice and they were able to provide us with as much professionalism as I feel we would have been given had it been a longer planned engagement. They were able to work the hours so that they were there to celebrate with us at midnight, which was amazing. We loved working with Kyle and Tracy. They both are a lot of fun and are extremely skilled at photography and customer service. Working with Tracy and Kyle was the easiest part of planning my wedding! We loved having them both to shoot our engagement pics and our wedding. I would very much recommend getting an engagement session with them (it’s complimentary, so why not) because you get so much more comfortable before the wedding. And this is coming from someone who did not want to do the engagement session, but was talked into it by my better half. Kyle and Tracy are extremely motivated and passionate about their work. It’s not just about a job with them. It’s about their goal to document the feelings of the day and then immortalize them. We hired them on the spot, the first photographers with no doubt in our minds. THEY ARE THAT GOOD.. I wanted my wedding day to be perfect. I’m a very organized bride and I wanted my day to reflect that. My wedding photographer was very important to me and RKH Images did not disappoint. Not only did they deal with my many requests with grace and patience, they had suggestions to ensure everything went according to plan, kept in great communication with me throughout our fourteen month engagement, and helped keep us (and my mother) calm during the day. I would recommend them for so many reasons. First and foremost, they are professional. They keep in great communication, as I mentioned before. If I had any questions, I could rely on Tracy to email me back within minutes. That’s very helpful when planning a wedding. They are also a lot of fun to deal with. They get beautiful photography, but do it in a way that keeps us comfortable. We didn’t feel like we were being posed. It was all very candid and fun. They also make a point to get along with EVERYONE at the wedding. My mom was pretty stressed out and they showed her a couple previews of our photos, which eased her stress considerably. All of our wedding guests loved them, leading to a couple of them taking their information (and I don’t even know if those people are engaged or not). Our wedding was in January in Minnesota and we were hoping for a snowy wedding. However, the weather was very odd that month and it actually decided to rain that day, so we ended up with a very dreary day. I'm the husband and let's face it, most of the wedding is about the bride. My wife was very into making sure this was a perfect day and she wanted a perfect photographer. RKH Images is the best photography duo you can possibly find for your day. Kyle and Tracy clearly love what they do and love working with people. We had a very long engagement (nearly two years) and they communicated with us very well throughout the entire process. Kyle and Tracy were great people to work with. We liked them from the moment we met them. We had met a few photographers before them and none of them were like Kyle and Tracy. The two of them are very easy to get along with and professional as well. I'm not one for getting my picture taken, but they made it fun. Kyle gets along great with the guys and made us all laugh a lot, whereas, Tracy relates a lot to the bride and the women. It's very nice having both of them there. Kyle and Tracy made our wedding pictures a dream come true. From the start they made us feel comfortable with them, and guided us easily through how their process works. We were given a list of ideas that we could check off of the types of pictures we wanted, and at the end of that list an area that we could add our own creative style of pictures we wanted. They have plenty of ideal spots to go for engagement or wedding if you are stumped, our they will go where you want to take your ideal pictures. One thing that they excelled at for me was helping me to become comfortable taking pictures. It sounds weird but I had no idea what to do, and by the end of the process they turned me into a picture taking pro! They had a knack for making the shoots a lot of fun, and I really enjoyed working with the two. The Husband and wife duo went above and beyond at every step of the way. They not only did our engagement photos, but also traveled with us to Curaçao for our destination wedding, and then shot our wedding reception back in Minneapolis. They accomplished everything we had on our list of pictures we wanted and kept suggesting ideas through all the events which turned out to make some pretty incredible shots. For example an under water shot of Becca and I kissing which turned out amazing. The couple had every type of camera one could think of, including under water cameras, and go pros. They were ready for whatever type of environment we placed them in. Once complete they were very flexible with our schedules for a time to meet and review the pictures. As Becca and I reviewed the photos we were blown away at how amazing and incredible they were. I highly recommend Kyle and Tracy for your wedding pictures. If your having your dream wedding then it's only logical to have the best photographers provide you with your dream pictures.

Out of all the items on the wedding planning list, the photographer was the most important to myself and my husband. Hiring Kyle and Tracy as our wedding photographers is a decision I would make again without a second glance. They impressed my husband and I with a beautiful portfolio and unique documentary style on their website and even more when we first met. They don't follow trends and their photography looks real, which we love. The last thing I want is to have my wedding photos look like Instagram, which is something I see a lot of these days. They both had an extreme passion for their work, which was clear throughout the planning process and wedding. Kyle and Tracy from RKH images were great to work with. We met for an initial consultation about a year in advance and then set up our included engagement shots. They worked around our dates, time of day and location, even coming back a second time to get it just right because of a hair/makeup issue on our part! On day day of, they arrived early and were very excited to get started. Having the two photographers really assured that we captured everything at our big location. My mom pulled Kyle everywhere trying to get pictures of everything and he got it all. The best you will find!!! Kyle and Tracy are an amazing husband/wife team. Kyle takes the best shots with his keen eye for the perfect angle and Tracy makes the photos a masterpiece with her mad talented editing skills. Our photos will be cherished forever! Kyle and Tracy shot both our destination wedding in the Caribbean AND reception back home in Minneapolis, and tagged along for all our adventures! They became our friends and a part of our family. I cannot say enough FANTASTIC words about them. They are so EASY to work with and make you RELAXED, all the while helping you to ENJOY your day. They definitely make you LAUGH and have fun. I am so happy that we chose RKH Images as our photographers for our wedding. They were so easy going and fun to work with, yet also very professional. There wasn't a long turn around for our pictures and they turned out amazing!! We plan to work with them again very soon.

I could not be more happy! My one special request was to be able to have photographs that captured the moments of our wedding and would catch special moments in time that we could cherish forever. This is exactly what happened! There were some very special moments that were photographed that were priceless and every time I look at them I am either smiling, laughing or crying and that is what I wanted in my wedding photography!! We had so much fun working with RKH Images!! We will definitely be requesting more of their services as our family grows!

Totally professional. Well organized. Knew what they were doing. Gave a sense of trust. We just put ourselves in their hands, and those were good hands. Completely blown away with the quality of the images. Would recommend them to anyone. Good job. Rock and roll!

RKH Images was amazing! They were so fun to work with and put my husband and I at complete ease. Both he and I are bad at posing for photos, and beyond that didn't want to spend our wedding day taking hours and hours of posed boring photos. Kyle and Tracy were able to get us GREAT posed photos, done in less than 40 minutes, AND they captured the most amazing candid photos.

They are such a fun couple, and will make your wedding day relaxed, fun and with GREAT photos to look back on. I can't recommend them enough!!

Kyle and Tracy were fantastic to work with and made both our engagement shoot and wedding photos as enjoyable as we could have possibly hoped for. They are very easy going, fun, and accommodating, and it was clear that our guests had a great time interacting with them as well. We also received our engagement photos and wedding photo samples much faster than we expected, and we were able to share some professional wedding photos with our families the very next day! I would choose them again in a heartbeat.

Kyle and Tracy have been an excellent source for concert photographs and various other events we have held in the past. They are extremely reliable and have an extremely high standard of quality for there final product.

RKH Images is our go-to for all of our major events at 92 KQRS. They do a great job of not only meeting the station's needs, but the needs of our clients as well. The photos are clean and crisp and they know how to interact with our listeners to get the perfect photo.

We booked RKH Images for our New Year's Eve Wedding and are so glad we did! Kyle was incredibly professional, flexible, patient, and responsive during the whole process. Because Kyle and Tracey are so personable and easygoing, our shoot felt organic and comfortable, and the photos reflect that. We had a blast working with them and loved our photos! Would recommend them for any type of event!

The pictures turned out great. Love all 3000 of them. I even had one blown up for the church we were married in. It is now hanging in the narthex where everyone can see it. The only negative feed back I would give is that I didn't get too many pictures of my in-laws.

Kyle and Tracy were a great couple to work with. An engagement shoot is included with all their packages and ours with Kyle was a lot of fun. It was grotesquely hot and sunny, and we made him hike about two miles but we had a good time and he got a lot of great shots.

At the actual wedding they captured just about everything. And they captured them beautifully. I'll forever treasure all the precious moments that they froze in time.

Best photographers!

Kyle & Tracy are great! I can’t stop looking at our wedding photos from June – they captured so many incredible moments so perfectly, including shots that are now hanging on my walls, that I wouldn’t have even known how to ask for.

They made posed shots really easy – we didn’t miss any (despite so many people!), and Kyle really put everyone at ease and made it fun. I only wish that we had a couple more versions of the big family photos. They really shone on candids, too, which is a big reason why we hired them in the first place: even when a chaotic flash mob took over the dance floor, they were ready to jump right in the middle of it taking fantastic pictures. We’re really glad we paid for an extra hour so they could capture that and the rest of the dance floor!

Beyond the photography, they’re also great at consistent, organized communication (a must for any wedding vendor), and they got our images back to us in record time. We’re really glad we chose them!

We were so happy to have found Kyle and Tracy to capture our big day! My wife and I were not looking forward to finding a photographer for our wedding. For one, we were on a tight budget, and for two...my wife absolutely hates having her picture taken. That being said, we found the right team for the job! Not only was the photo package they provided well within our budget, but they made us feel comfortable off the bat. They were patient and down to earth. For our engagement photos Kyle had creative idea's for photo's, and found a few cool spots by the stone arch bridge we did not know about. We had an early wedding, and it was a crazy morning! Kyle and Tracy stayed calm through it all, and managed to get the great shots we were hoping for through all the chaos. We love our pictures, and cant wait to get them printed for all of our friends and family :)
