I had my wedding reception here at the Riverside EpiCenter in June 2015. Although we rented the space at a great price, the customer service made us wish we had selected another venue and paid the extra dollars instead! Very unorganized and unprofessional staff to say the very least. Changes were constantly being made in spite of the fact that we had a contract in place and the only reason we were told these changes were made was due to "management changes". I was unable to use a lot of my decorations because they only allowed us to enter to decorate the space at 12 noon for a 3pm wedding! 2-3 hours!!! Really!!?!! We were originally told that we could enter as early as 8am the day of to decorate, but that changed in the midst of our contract along with no helium balloons being allowed, no beer/wine being permitted, and so so many other things that I lost count! This turned out to be an utter headache and nightmare!!! They even refunded us a portion of our deposit due to everything we experienced with this venue. It's a beautiful space, but unfortunately I would never want to hold an event there again due to the poor management! This is the last thing you want to deal with when you're planning a wedding, or any special event. Lesson learned! :(

Avis's event was reserved a month after our Grand Opening (Feb. 2014) unfortunately before all policies were in place.
We met with Avis and her wedding consultant to go over all the new policies and procedures.
Helium Balloon are not allowed due to the high ceilings (25-50').
Bar was not allowed due to local ordinances (now changed).
Ballroom rented on hourly basis so they could rent as many hours as they needed.
We offered the following complimentary-
An additional hour and ability to change contracted hours
10 high boys for reception
Atrium (additional reception area)
At this time we also offered a full refund.
In the end, we tried to create a wonderful experience by following the "spirit" and not letter of their contract.
