Cindy & Team 10/10

Cindy and her team did a wonderful job with our wedding! When looking for a caterer, we had a hard time finding a caterer in or around Fredericksburg with availability, reasonable prices, and that was easy to work with. Cindy and her team at Riverside were incredibly responsive and easy to work with. I sent over the ideas I liked on her website, and she helped me build a fun menu in a few emails back and forth. (Please note: we had fancier food choices and it was all excellent!) She was very helpful when the final numbers came in and modified the invoice to accommodate our drop off in guests. On the day of, the food and service were both excellent: stations were set up to plan, plenty of staff was there to oversee everything, her team stayed and picked up all tables. Every guest I spoke with during and after the reception said "y'all's food was really good!" I even had a friend ask how Cindy makes her veggies as she liked them so much. My only regret is not setting up a tasting with Cindy prior to booking so that I could have had that meal twice :) I highly recommend anyone in the hill country having an event to look into using Riverside!

Far beyond expectations!

Cindy and her team went way above and beyond for our daughter's wedding!! We were referred by the venue and never had time to sample the food before the wedding. We were beyond pleasantly surprised!! We had turkey, brisket, cheesy potatoes and the amazing peach cobbler! All of our 130 guests raved about how tasty everything was. Thank you for making our special day even better! Sheila

Absolutely tasty and amazing!

Cindy and her team are so wonderful and easy to work with. They definitely helped our wedding dreams come true. Not only are they so great to work with, but their food is absolutely DELICIOUS!! We had them cater our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception and they killed it both nights! I highly recommend using this catering company for your next special event. Anything they cook will surely leave you and your guests' tummies happy and full.

Riverside Catering is wonderful!

We would like to thank Cindy Zoeller and Riverside Catering for such a wonderful job they did at our house wedding on 03/25/2023. The food was amazing, the service was perfect and when asked, they also stayed to help serve the cake. Guests came up to us throughout the party to tell us how much they liked the food and wanted to know when and where Cindy was opening her own restaurant!

Exceptional service from a well-qualified catering company!

Cindy and her team did an awesome job at our wedding. She was always responsive with my questions, and provided everything that we agreed upon. They are a very organized outfit that allowed us to enjoy our event without having to worry about the meal. We had tons of compliments on our meal (brisket, sausage, macaroni and cheese, and green bean casserole). Overall a professional vendor with great service and reasonable prices. Would highly recommend for others looking for an experienced catering service in the area (married in Fredericksburg, TX). Thank you so much for everything.

Food was delicious!

Found riverside through an event, they offered chicken and blueberry cobbler which was amazing! We had BBQ and of course cobbler for our wedding. Everyone loved the food!

The food was delicious, we had about 150 people and there was more then enough food and people were getting seconds. They were kind, responsive, and I would 100% recommend Riverside to any wedding or event where you want delicious food and great service.

Great service!

Working with Riverside Catering was an awesome experience! From the tasting out on a ranch in Boerne, to communicating with Cindy, and to the day of the actual wedding, everything with Riverside Catering was amazing. Cindy is very communicative and responsive when I had questions. She is also very flexible and open to changes if you decide to change your mind about something. The food was a delicious hit (the mac and cheese was our favorite!). We also had a lot of leftovers that we were able to eat throughout the week after we got married. The sausage heats up nicely. If you want an easy-going and seamless experience while wedding planning, Riverside Catering is the way to go!

Absolutely Amazing!

I can't recommend Riverside Catering enough! Not only is their food delicious, but their staff is friendly and helpful. We had both Texan and non-Texan friends/family raving about how great the brisket and sausage is! My personal favorite is the mac and cheese, which Cindy was kind enough to give us an extra platter of for the day after the wedding! Thank you Riverside for being part of our special day! We will remember that food forever!

Great Experience!!!

Stop looking...you've found it

Riverside Catering is a wonderful catering service with amazing food and a great selection! We first only reserved them for our reception, but ended up using them for our cocktail hour and rehearsal dinner. We had cheese enchiladas, charcuterie cups, and bar-b-que - all tasted amazing. If you are looking for an affordable catering company with great food look no further!

Delicious food, AMAZING service, & unbeatable pricing

Cindy & the whole Riverside Catering crew brought professionalism, great service, & best of all: delicious food! Due to planning the wedding from a different state, we were not able to do a tasting, but the food exceeded every expectation! We got SO many compliments! With changing COVID demands, Cindy worked closely with me to ensure that the guests were cared for & safe in all of the food/beverage areas. Professional and great

Riverside came to my rescue when my catering company pulled out. I didn’t get o taste the food and they did not disappoint. The brisket was so moist and all the food had flavor. We chose Queso and dares for appetizers and people are still raving about them. Cindy was quick to answer my calls and emails, even if it was about changing our order. We didn’t have much left over and her team was professional as well

Food was perfect!

The food was amazing! We didn't have time to do a tasting but I read reviews on wedding wire and they were true y'all! I also saw that they had served at my venue before and that made me feel at ease, but seriously cannot recommend them enough! The food was fresh, they had kids options, and it was tasty. If you can book them I would! The owner is sweet, flexible, and fast responding! Hope this review helps you book them! (:

Delicious, affordable and I'm still dreaming about the BBQ

Cindy is AMAZING!!!!! Her food is the best BBQ I've ever had and I wish she had a storefront so I could enjoy it beyond my wedding. She was prompt to answer emails, very accomodating, and very professional. She made our day so easy and was incredibly affordable. Wish I could give her 10 stars!

AMAZING wedding food!!

I can't say enough great things about Cindy and her team. First off, she was willing to meet us wherever we wanted for our tasting, so we decided on a park by the river in Boerne. When we got there the food was nice and hot and she brought more than enough for us to taste/share. The hardest part was deciding what we wanted because everything was so good.
Day of the wedding they showed up right on time and were quiet as a mouse setting up at the reception hall which was right next to our ceremony. They were very professional and efficient. There was no slow down in the lines while serving the guests and the clean up was just as quick.
I have had nothing but amazing reviews from all of our guests. I even had one of my family members say "your wedding was beautiful, but oh my god where did you get your food!? It was the best wedding food I've ever had!"
We can't thank Riverside Catering enough for the great service and incredible spread of food. The Mac and Cheese bar we did was my favorite part and 2 months later we are still hearing about it from friends. I would absolutely recommend Riverside catering to anyone needing great food and professional service all at a very fair price.

People are still talking about the food!

I can not recommend Cindy and her crew enough! From day one Cindy made everything so easy from setting up a tasting to creating our menu. I never had anyone talk about wedding food weeks after the wedding but our family and friends absolutely loved the food and won't stop talking about it. We did the mac n cheese bar during cocktail hour that everyone has been raving about. It was so nice after our entrance to come to our head table and have our food waiting for us. They even packed to go boxes for our hotel room. We chose the brisket, sausage and tequilla lime chicken and it was so delicious. They moved all our guests through the buffet line fast and had everything cleared off tables promptly as well. It was a stress free experience working with Cindy and I am so thankful we did because she made our wedding that much more amazing. I would highly recommend Riverside catering for anyone looking for their wedding or special event!

Amazing Texas BBQ

We loved Cindy from the time of our tasting until our wedding night. The tasting was such a nice preview of what she has to offer. We loved that we could add appetizers and interchange meals! Our guests raved about the Mac and cheese bar and couldn’t get over how much they loved the meal. Cindy was always responsive and easy to work with! I would highly recommend Riverside Catering for any event. I received so many compliments on the food the night of our wedding. Any time I had questions along the way, they were so responsive in getting back to me. Our ceremony ended much quicker than we thought it would. They were nice enough to serve dinner 15-20 minutes early. Now I am not saying that they can do this every time. However, it was so nice that they were willing to for us. That doesn't seem like a long time, but when your guests are sitting around and have already gone to the bar to get a drink, it seems like an eternity. There were also two meals set aside for both me and my husband. That was not something we had discussed. They are just extremely thoughtful. You should definitely book them for your event.

Riverside Catering was incredibly helpful and informative, answering any question I had in a timely manner. Their prices were very reasonable. They showed up on time, did a great job making their buffet display blend beautifully with our wedding decorations, and were very professional and respectful while serving the food and cleaning up after. And the food was outstanding! We had many people request the name of the caterer! They made my job as Mother-of-the-Bride so much easier! I didn't have to worry about the food and was able to focus on more important things. They took care of everything! I highly recommend Riverside Catering and will use them again the next time I am in need of a caterer.

Great service from beginning to end. We called very close to the wedding date and were thankful the date was available. Bride and groom scheduled a tasting and the food was amazing. Staff on the day of the event was amazing and considerate. They served, cleaned up, made to-go meals, and packed up the leftovers. Overall a great and convenient experience.

They were extremely responsive, professional, and many of our guests said it was the best catered meal they’d ever had, not to mention their prices were better than anyone I found in the Hill Country. My guests and myself along with my wife could not be happier! Food was incredible, hot, and served perfectly never saw a line. Also our guest had multiple plates and everyone was stuffed. Our food was delicious! The staff were able t serve our 180 guests so quickly thru the buffet line! They also brought a Decorations to add around the buffet table that matches our theme beautifully!

Riverside catering is amazing!! DELICIOUS, professional, and very cost effective! I would highly recommend trusting them to cater your event! All of our guests have raved on the food. My brother in law said it's the BEST brisket he's ever had! They brought their own tables, set up, served, cleaned up, and left us with to-go boxes to take with us at the end of the night.

Absolutely impressed with the services we received! The tasting we did went so smoothly, Cindy responded to any email I sent super fast and was always willing to do whatever to help me out. When my wife and I were looking for catering for our wedding at a wedding expo earlier in the year, Cindy Zoeller and her peach cobbler blew us away. When she told us her pricing we were even more ecstatic. It was very easy to set up and meeting to taste the food and Mrs. Zoeller was very easy to get a hold of for questions and communication in regards to the wedding. On the day of the event, she arrived on time and actually had food ready to be served a half hour early which helped our timeline for the day flow smoothly. The food was delicious and many of my family members commented on how many plates they went back to get throughout the serving period. We were very thankful for riverside catering and all of the work they did to make our day special!

Cindy and the Riverside Catering team exceeded all expectations we had. I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was. We had the brisket, sausage, macaroni, green beans and blueberry/peach cobbler for our wedding. Everything tasted amazing and our guests went back for seconds. The food was one of our top priorities for our big day and Cindy and her team did not disappoint! Everyone was so nice and made sure things went smoothly. We made sure to have some leftovers for everyone to take home since we raved about the food for months after our tasting. Cindy is amazing. She was kind, personable and my husband and I felt wonderful about supporting her small local business for our Boerne wedding. I reached out to Cindy multiple times for questions throughout my planning process and she was always quick to answer and honest. Our guests must have loved her food because they ate up EVERYTHING even though we payed for extra! We got compliments from our families and guests. Most importantly, she has many options and she is affordable. When paying for a wedding, you expect to spend a pretty penny on food. We used riverside catering to cater our wedding. They were a joy to work with! They provided an amble amount of samples for me to try when trying to decide what we wanted to serve. They even allowed me to take the samples home so that my fiancé would get the chance to try it. They were very accommodating to our needs! We had vegaterians at our wedding who couldn't eat the BBQ so they were able to make a vegetable lasagna for them.

This catering service is wonderful, the food was hot and delicious served buffet style at our outdoor wedding of 100 people. They provided everything and made sure we had our meals brought to us as bride and groom so we didn't have to go up to the line. The food was a big hit with our guests, they loved it!

Dinner was great and the frito pie during the cocktail hour was a hit. The only thing unexpected was the dessert, we had agreed on peach cobbler but we received more of a blueberry mixed cobbler/cake.

First of all, the food was great and there were no complaints there. I have two complaints as the bride. 1) I asked if they provided water, and later in the evening I found out that no one was serving water. We didn’t coordinate water to be passed out at the bar because catering said they were bringing water. 2) I had double checked that riverside was staying to cut the cake, but when cake cutting time came I found out that the caterer had already packed up and left. So my mom and my aunt ended up cutting and serving cake.
