  I was surprised to see a couple lows reviews on this site because my experience with Edge Catering was FABULOUS! We loved their Sonoran BBQ menu and their staff was a delight to work with. Our family and friends have some unique dietary preferences and they were very accommodating. All the food was great, cooked perfectly, and so flavorful. I feel like whenever I eat food at a wedding I don't remember it and it's always fine but never anything great. I have had soooo many guests tell me how good the food was at our wedding, and I agree 100%, it was delicious. I'd hire them for future events in an instant.

  The food was absolutely amazing! They have a huge selection to choose from, but all you need to know is chimichuri sauce! The staff was great the day of the wedding. The food was served nice and hot and tasted absolutely amazing! Definitely not "wedding food". I still have people talking about the food and how great it was!

  The food was phenomenal!! We chose a chicken breast with green chilie chorizo sauce and it was amazing! All of our guests loved it! The sides were great as well.

  Delicious food! My guests were extremely happy with the quality of the food, and they even made special accommodations for my guests with food allergies and that were vegan/vegetarian. I was absolutely impressed!

  The food at our wedding was amazing! Everyone came up saying how good it tasted and how they went back for seconds and even thirds! We went with the brisket and I wish we had leftovers!

  We booked a Reflections Wedding which had to be moved to a new venue due to construction delay. We may have ended up with food prepared by the new venue but I still give all the credit to Reflections. John and Debi were great!!! Not only did they still pull off the perfect wedding for us but having to deal with a secondary venue through them had to be difficult but they handled everything. I would recommend Reflections Wedding to anyone who is getting married. Great people to work with.

  The buffet was delicious. Everyone dressed professional. The dishes and silverware looked nice. We received lots of compliments about the food at our reception. On the food tasting day, they took great care of us even though there were four of us. (They prefer having only two people at the tasting).

  Food was wonderful and exactly what we tasted. This is the catering company that both of the Reflection properties use as their house caterer. Since my fiance and I were unable to make any of the group tastings, River's Edge's owner set up a private tasting for us. He made it so easy, and it was greatly appreacited. Everyone loved the food at the wedding. We had the prickly pear chicken and the poblano beef. Both were excellent.

  I liked the food provided by this company and the flexibility to pick and choose my options. I also liked that there was a full out free tasting prior so that i could have an idea of what I was getting. I must admit that the tasting did not impress me, but the day of went really well. The food was executed pretty well. What I did not like was the pricing. I wanted a bacon bar and they charged me $1.50 per bacon slice. I thought that was a bit extreme. Their servers were great and very attentive.

  Rivers Edge (now The Edge) Catering came with the venue. We did a tasting in November and we were able to narrow down some of our choices. Since they came with our venue all of our contact went through the venue. This review is actually very mixed.
  
  The Good: The prime rib was fantastic. Our guests were all commenting on how good the meal was. We wanted au jus and horseradish sauce for our "sauces", we had initially been told the horseradish would be an additional charge since we were asking for 2 "sauces". In the end we were told there was no charge for it. The veggies were cooked perfectly. The garlic whipped mashed potatoes were delicious. The salad and appetizers were all fantastic.
  
  The Bad: I felt the vegetables were over seasoned. Too much pepper. My husband agrees it was a tad much.
  
  The Worst: We had 2 vegetarians. We had asked for Penne Pasta Primavera for them. We were told they would stay at their seats while the other guests went to the buffet. Of course my husband and I went up first and got our food. We could see everything from our sweetheart table. I noticed everyone else at their table had gone to the buffet, but their food had not been brought out. Our "server" came over and I asked her where the 2 vegetarian dishes I ordered were. She told me there wasn't any. I told her there was supposed to be 2. She had to go talk with the night event manager, who then came over to tell me there was a problem. I was NOT happy. Apparently the vegetarian dishes were on the venues food and beverage order, but somehow were not put on the chef's order. The event manager told me they could make them a salad, and/or they could eat the other food on the buffet. I asked her to talk with them. I was so embarrassed. Other then an apology from the event manager for the venue, I have not heard anything yet.

  Edge catering was amazing! The chef sat us down and ran us through the entire dinner as our guests would receive it during the wedding. Although the quality of the food was not as great as the tasting, (probably because they had to produce 215 plates) all of our guests enjoyed their meals.

  My mom and my mother in law are a great cook and also big critics, but they complimented the food over and over which means the quality and taste were just perfect.
  
  Special credit for Chris, the head chef, He is really great, he could understand what's our preferences and translate them to a great menu. We had a really effective discussion that brought us to a great customized menu selections.

  Brides Beware!! After reading reviews on here I thought I had found a winner...I was so wrong!
  
  I was working with them to plan the food to be served at my wedding in Tucson. Initially, they were fairly responsive and worked with me to plan a menu that I was excited about. However, they kept trying to get us to order more food, which was a bit strange, but we assumed they knew best as the caterers.
  
  We were about ready to sign the contract and send payment when everything turned bad in a hurry. We asked for a final proposal and were sent a sloppy one page overview of the food and pricing that did not match was was originally discussed. We wrote and called multiple times (10 times at least) to try and work out the issues with the proposal. NEVER ONCE DID THEY RETURN OUR CALLS. We were only a month out from the wedding and had been planning the menu for 6 weeks at that point and they just dropped all communication.
  
  In a panic I started calling other vendors and ended up selecting someone else to do the wedding. When I told them what we planned on ordering from River's Edge, they said that they were trying to get us to buy WAAAY too much food. Thank goodness this new vendor saved the day and we had plenty of great food on the wedding day. I am just shocked that I still have not gotten any response from River's Edge.
  
  *I will note that the chef for River's Edge was very nice and was trying to be as helpful as possible. His boss was the one telling us to order more food and made the awful proposal.

Creative Catering came to our rescue and did a wonderful job. I would never contact Rivers's edge for any catering contract. We were willing to pay more, but they just decided to drop it with no formal notice and just refused to answer phones or emails.
  We never got to the signed contract part because they kept changing the bid over several months.
