All inclusive. We went in the off season, it was great not too fulll. the buffet was great. and there are resturants that you can make reservations to have a more private setting.

Great reception but we paid the upgrade to have it private. Well worth the money.. Just wished it was longer. Food was amazing! Ceremony space was amazing. I was dead set on a beach wedding but the tide didn't agree.. The terrace it ended up on was a thousand times better! And private. Amazing time!

We went here for our honeymoon and it was AMAZING. VERY accommodating and relaxing. The food was really good, we went to the buffet every day and were able to get in to each of the limited restaurants. Note: limited*. 4 of the restaurants have a menu focus- Japanese, Indian, American Steakhouse, & a gourmet that has a mix. The Japanese, Indian, & gourmet only have about 2 dozen tables, so plan to get in line before they open. It's worth it! The steakhouse had a lot more seating. The pools are amazing, staff are very friendly and helpful. It's right next door to Atlantis, making our trip very affordable with easy access. Cannot rave enough about the pastries. The waters are beautiful! Don't wander around far from the resort, there are places around town that are sketchy. Had knock them down a bit because we lost power the very first day of our honeymoon & on separate occasions our room was not taken care of like we requested. Overall, a great time and worth it.

Unfortunately, nothing is private but they still make it beautiful. We got married on the beach with everyone watching. The upside with this is that you will feel like a rock star because everyone will cheer for you as you 'walk down the aisle' and have your first kiss. To walk down the aisle, you must walk past the crowded pool area and down many stairs. You will be allowed to have dinner at a restaurant of your choice along with any other guest that reserved the restaurant on the same night, so that is also not private. Decorations will be provided at the restaurant based on what you are will to pay for, however, no dancing is allowed. I think you have to reserve the ballroom at an extra cost for a private reception and dancing.

My husband and I were married on Cable Beach and spent a few days after exploring New Providence in different settings. We spent our last two days at the Riu. It's not one of the nicer Riu properties, but it's not awful. The space for weddings is a little cramped and you definitely don't get much of a private feel. We saw three weddings happen while we were there (two on Wednesday and one on Thursday) and at least one of the brides was in "grin and bear it" mode because her space had been moved (weather) and she was entering from the crowded, busy lobby. The rooms (we tried two) are very musty and smell like mildew; their ventilation and circulation must not be very good. While all-inclusive is attractive for everyone, I would have felt really uncomfortable having my family stay there.

We still had a very good time, but for the amount we actually saved by going all-inclusive, I think I may have picked a different spot to stay on Paradise Island. Other than its all-inclusiveness, its best feature is being located directly next door to the Atlantis, which allows for exploration of that property. Also note: a king-sized bed room is actually two singles pushed together with a king-sized headboard.
