We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Ritz Charles for our wedding during the total solar eclipse! Finding the perfect venue that would lie along the eclipse path while also fulfilling our vision of a beautiful and natural setting that incorporated the outdoors seemed like a daunting task at first, but the Ritz's Garden Pavilion ticked all of those boxes and so much more! After going over the very reasonable terms and seeing it in-person, we knew that we had stumbled onto the perfect place for us.

We began working with Emily on the details right away and were very impressed by her professionalism, responsiveness, and expertise. Neither of us had been to too many weddings and lacked any knowledge of how to go about planning our own, but Emily helped us figure out how to plan the wedding of our dreams. We really appreciated her insights on even the tiniest of details we would never have considered and her constant availability to answer questions whether by phone or email. Her kindness, patience, and passion for what she does was just icing on the cake!

Speaking of cakes, Ritz Charles includes the wedding cake, all of the food catering, bar tending, and wait staffing in their services! It was such a relief to have those things crossed off of our list of vendors to setup ourselves, and let us just focus on what specific things we wanted at our event. Their extensive menu offers tons of options and also includes a free tasting event in the months leading up to the wedding! The guests we brought with us to the tasting were as blown away as we were by the amazing food, incredible service, and elegant atmosphere.

The actual day of our wedding was everything we could have hoped for and more. The Garden Pavilion looked almost otherworldly in it's breathtaking beauty and set the perfect tone for both our wedding and the spectacular cosmic event we observed later in the day. The ceremony and reception coordinators were both incredibly kind, polite, and helpful throughout the day and happy to do anything we asked of them. Our guests were awed by the impeccable service and dedication shown by every staff member, and we received many compliments both during and after on our choice of venues.

Overall, we can't recommend Ritz Charles enough to anyone looking to create the wedding event of a lifetime. Thank you to Emily and everyone at Ritz Charles for helping us create the most amazing and memorable day of our lives!!!

My husband and I recently had our wedding at the Ritz Charles (Chapel and Ballrooms) and we cannot express how thrilled we were with our choice! The venue was absolutely beautiful for our ceremony and reception. The venue was well maintained and very clean.

The staff was incredibly professional, attentive, and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. Maddie and her team made sure every detail was thought of during the planning process and made our job easy!

The food and service were the most complimented aspect of our wedding. We are still thinking of our wedding meal, cake, and late night snack! The tasting was a great way to taste and experience how the meal would be presented on our wedding day. It was a great experience.

I had a July daytime wedding at the Ritz Charles, and my experience with them was fantastic! Communication was always quick and informative, the staff was professional and accommodating, and the venue was absolutely stunning. We had our ceremony in the chapel with our reception in the ballroom, and the entire experience was just perfect. There was plenty of space, delicious food, a clean and professional atmosphere, and lots of spots to take pictures around the venue. Not a lot of brides get to say that their wedding day was perfect, but I do and a big part of that is because of the staff at the Ritz Charles. They advocated for me, they were patient with all of my questions and requests, and they made every last dream of mine come true when it came to my wedding.

We had a wonderful experience having the Ritz Charles as our wedding venue. I am so thankful for all the help and guidance we received throughout the planning process. Maddie was very timely in her responses, always answering my questions. She was so helpful with the planning of everything and helping execute my vision. It was the perfect venue! We had 300 guests and the space worked perfectly for our number. Our guest really enjoyed the food. The Ritz was very helpful in accommodating our guests with allergies. Our guests also loved the ability to access the outside for cocktail hour. I highly recommend this venue!

I can't even express how happy I am to have chosen the Ritz Charles for our wedding venue. Our event specialist Emily made the entire process so easy for us, and was incredibly detailed and patient every step of the way. She had solutions ready for issues we weren't even thinking about (such as having beer tubs set up at the entrance to the cocktail hour so that the bar lines wouldn't be too long) and even added to ideas that we brought to her (like adding a bourbon tasting station at the cigar bar we wanted). Every email was answered promptly and she never made me feel high maintenance for changing my mind on small details. The day-of staff was also incredibly professional, personable, and helpful. Everything was taken care of and handled perfectly! We heard over and over again how much our guests loved the food, which is so rare to hear at a wedding! If we had to do it all over again, we would choose the Ritz Charles in a heartbeat.

We had our wedding ceremony in the Chapel and our reception in the Garden Pavilion at The Ritz Charles. Both were absolutely beautiful and exactly what we envisioned for our big day! The staff was very helpful with making sure every detail was ready for the day of and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the day on our wedding day. I could not recommend The Ritz Charles more for future brides!

The Ritz Charles was absolutely wonderful to work with. I have a gluten allergy and they were able to provide us not only a gluten free menu, but a gluten free wedding cake which I didn't think would be possible to have without paying an extra charge for it. Megan was amazing every step of the way and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. The day of coordinator was always wonderful and the entire staff was just great. The food was also to die for and I was amazed how good it tasted the day of since they just catered and had to drive downtown. One of the best experiences I ever had and they truly made our wedding magical.

We recently had our wedding reception at the Ritz Charles Ballroom and I cannot say enough good things about the entire process. We worked with Emily and she was truly so amazing throughout the whole process. She responded to questions in a timely manner, patiently handled multiple changes I threw at her, and was always so helpful and kind. The venue itself is beautiful and was the perfect space for our reception. The food and serving staff was impressive, and the whole process was so much easier for me since they handled everything- including catering, table settings, and decor the day of. They were also the most reasonably priced of all the venues I looked at (and trust me i looked at a lot). We got such an awesome outcome at such a good price and I am so grateful to the Ritz team for making it all possible!

I cannot even begin to express how amazing the Ritz Charles is and the staff! My original wedding venue cancelled on me 2 weeks before my wedding. It just so happened that the Ritz Charles had my date available and they immediately took me under their wing and made my wedding day even better than I could have ever dreamt of...in just 2 WEEKS! Everything I requested of them, they exceeded my expectations and more. Maddie got back with me very promptly and made me feel so calm about everything. I would recommend the Ritz Charles to anyone and everyone! They truly help make your wedding day feel like a dream come true.

I cannot even begin to express my feelings towards the Ritz Charles and their incredible staff. From the beginning, Maddie was absolutely fantastic - promptly responding to all of our questions. We looked at multiple venues but after meeting with Maddie and touring the venue, we decided to book the Ritz that same day.

When the pandemic hit I was absolutely devastated - we were not sure what the future would hold. The owner, Bill, quickly calmed all of our fears and went above and beyond to reassure us that we would be taken care of regardless of how things would play out. I was feeling extremely bummed out and Bill offered us a safe & socially distanced tour of the renovations to the venue - WOWZA. The venue I booked an entire year prior had gone from beautiful to absolutely STUNNING. I was finally able to get excited again despite the thought that our wedding may get postponed. After I saw the renovations, I decided we were going to get married at The Ritz whether it was on our date or at a later date, NO MATTER WHAT! It's breathtakingly beautiful.

Our date rolled around and once again, Maddie went above and beyond to work with us and make us feel comfortable - despite all the uncertainty.

On 6/13, we got married in the chapel - our ceremony attendants, Brittany and Taylor were AMAZING (during both the rehearsal and the ceremony) and then followed our reception in the ballroom. It was the most perfect day EVER (how many people can say they had a perfect wedding during a pandemic?!).

The staff was extremely professional - you would think they had been prepared/training for this pandemic for years. Every single staff member (waiters, bartenders, attendants, etc..) was spectacular. The food was UNBELIEVABLE - all of our guests raved about how incredible the food was and the cake!!!! Don't even get me started on the cake - WOW. YUM!

I cannot recommend the Ritz Charles enough. Bill, the owner, is a wonderful person who never once made us feel like just another customer, but like we were family who he genuinely cared about. Maddie, our wedding coordinator, is absolutely outstanding and I literally cannot say enough great things about her and her professionalism. I had read so many articles about people in our same situation having horrible experiences with their venues and I am so grateful to say I am not one of them. We had THE GREATEST experience from start to finish. 10/10, 5 STARS - Thank you Ritz Charles! We love you all!

Our wedding reception was beautiful and the food was wonderful. We enjoyed working with the Ritz, especially Lindsey, who was very punctual responding to emails and flexible with any changes we had leading up to the big day. We received so many compliments on the delicious food and the great, professional service our guests received that evening. Thank you Ritz Charles for making our wedding reception one to remember!

I can't say enough great things about our experience working with Ritz Charles for our wedding. We booked their new facility, The Bluffs at Conner Prairie, based off renderings that we saw while it was under construction. Not being able to see the completed venue until the night of our rehearsal absolutely paid off because the space was incredible. We hosted our wedding outdoors with the reception inside. The team at Ritz was great to work with throughout the entire planning process: responding to emails quickly, flexible with any changes, extremely organized and absolute joys to work with. The day of our wedding ran so smoothly, every detail was executed, and they took great care of both of our families--we were treated extremely well. The food was excellent, and we heard this many times from our guests. We fully believe there is no one better to work with than the team at Ritz.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED having our wedding at Ritz Charles. We had our ceremony in the Chapel and reception followed in the Garden Pavilion. Maddie was the best part - she was so kind and helpful from our very first correspondence. The venue is BEAUTIFUL! They have a wide range of packages, food selections and décor selection. We planned our wedding from two states away, so their all inclusivity was very helpful, and made the whole wedding process so much easier. I highly recommend having your wedding here - you will not regret it!

Everything was amazing! The ceremony was set up perfectly and communication from the beginning was awesome! The staff kept me informed and kept the ceremony and reception running on the schedule we talked about. Everyone loved the food and cake! Don't hesitate to book the Ritz Charles because you will not be disappointed!

I am extremely happy with every aspect of the Ritz Charles. I worked with Maddie an Megan and they did an outstanding job. Every question was answered promptly and they helped us every step of the way. We got married in the chapel and had our reception in the ballroom. Both were beautiful. The food was great and I received several compliments on it. I have no complaints and would highly recommend them.

It was beautiful, amazing, well serviced, and perfect! Not a single thing went wrong. It was on the pricey side but 250% worth every penny. The food was incredible! They made sure the bride and groom were taken care of all night. I could have asked for a better venue and will recommend them to anyone!

Our experience with the Ritz Charles was exceptional. We chose the Lindley Farmstead at Chatham Hills as the venue for our daughter's wedding. The ceremony took place at the gazebo which overlooked a beautiful pond. Many of our guests expressed their amazement with the beauty of the venue both inside and out, the quality of the beverages and food served as well as the professionalism of the staff. We are still receiving calls, e-mails and notes from our guests expressing their gratitude for being included in such a wonderful wedding.
The staff was wonderful to work with. Casey’s knowledge and experience was very helpful with the planning process. Cassandra, Rachel and Sherry saw that everything ran smoothly during the ceremony and reception. They were able to anticipate any potential issues and made adjustments accordingly which enabled us to enjoy every moment of the experience.
Looking back at the entire day, there isn’t a thing we would change. For us, it was magical!

Had my daughter's wedding here. We worked with Hannah at the chapel and she was wonderful and we worked with Lindsay at the reception Ballroom and she was amazing.. She made changes to the very last minute that we needed to make the wedding perfect .I highly recommend this facility for a wedding !!!They know what they're doing. They are professional and very flexible. And the value of this facility is better than anyone in the Indianapolis Market.

Maddie and Hannah took exceptional care of us during the wedding planning process! They worked seamlessly with our wedding planner to make our Wedding Day AMAZING! They were knowledgeable, patient, flexible, and their communication was excellent every step of the way. The day of was perfect thanks to Hannah who was so kind and helpful in anyway we needed her. This venue was within budget and exceeded our expectations! They coordinated well with our Wedding Planner and our Vendors and were a joy to work with. I would not change a thing, so happy we chose the Ritz Charles!

I have been to this facility before for other events but never a wedding. I was amazed with their ability to transform the venue into a very special event for me. The chapel was quaint yet amazing and the food of course was awesome as always.

Maddie was our go-to girl for the garden pavilion-always very friendly and helpful! Anne and Rachel helped us plan and execute our ceremony in the chapel. They even let us use the chapel a little early for our first look. We loved having our ceremony and reception in the same place. It made it so easy and convenient for everyone. We decided to rent the air conditioner unit for the GP for our mid July wedding. Unfortunately it did not help at all. In fact the temp was way better with all the doors open. We regret the $3000 we spent on it, however it was rented by a 3rd party, so it's really not the Ritz's fault. Natural light was very important to me in choosing our venue and the garden pavilion was the best in the area!

Ritz Charles and our wedding planner, Maddie, were awesome. Maddie was extremely knowledgeable, and the entire planning process was relaxed and fun. The Bridal Experiences where you get to go and view ideas for your linens and table decorations, and sample menu items makes you feel like a bride.
Our wedding reception went off without a hitch, the food was great, we had so much fun and our guests where full of compliments. The pictures we took in the beautiful Ritz Charles lobby are some of my favorites.

We had our wedding at the Ritz Charles. We used the chapel for the ceremony and had our reception in the garden pavilion as it perfectly matched our starry night theme. The venue as well as the food were perfect! We were in awe of how great both places looked and the food was the best wedding food I have ever eaten. The cake literally melted in your mouth! It wasn't just us that thought that we had numerous compliments from our guests about how beautiful everything was and how great the food was. The staff at the Ritz took care of setting up all of our decorations and according to my mom tear down after the event went just as smoothly and quickly. These are clearly professionals and that put my mind at ease knowing they would expertly execute my vision. I personally worked with Lindsey and Anne as the coordinators and they were both very prompt with their responses and very flexible throughout the planning process. They went above and beyond to make my vision a reality. I will say the venue and food are more on the expensive side. We ended up going with a Sunday wedding and cash bar to keep our costs down and split the ceiling fabric with the couple on Saturday to achieve the look we wanted in the pavilion. So there were a few sacrifices made along the way and several plans that were altered and changed but after it's all said and done we got the wedding of our dreams and worked with one of the best teams around. The ceremony and reception were perfect and we wouldn't have changed any thing!

Ritz Charles provided the catering services for our Central Library wedding in downtown Indianapolis in October 2015. Casey was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process which made planning from afar in Seattle stress free. The food was delicious, the servers incredibly attentive and the drinks delicious! Thank you Casey for being so accommodating and flexible while we planned this wedding. it was all we could have ever hoped and dreamed for our day and we are so fortunate you were able to help us plan this amazing celebration! Anyone looking for a caterer with delicious food and amazing attention to detail should look no further!

We had our ceremony in the chapel and reception in the garden pavilion. Everyone at the Ritz Charles was incredibly communicative during the planning process (I currently live in Chicago so this was very important to me). Lindsey was our reception planner and she was so helpful in staying organized and on top of things - I had several guests with allergies or dietary restrictions and she made sure that everyone's meal was planned as needed. Additionally, our day of coordinators for both the chapel & the reception made sure that we always had what we needed. My husband and I didn't sleep very well the night before so by the time we got to the reception we were crashing and asked for red bulls. They didn't have them on hand so the owner WENT OUT AND BOUGHT SOME FOR US. Now, THAT is what you call great service. The reception coordinator always made sure that we had what we needed (particularly drinks) but did so without being intrusive. They did all of the set up and break down for us and even helped us pack up some of the centerpieces at the end of the night. I couldn't imagine having better service!

The Ritz-Charles did a fabulous job for our daughter's wedding on August 14, 2015! Lindsey was great to work with planning the event from the food to the schedule, the layout and all the little extra touches that make the setting beautiful and inviting. The food and drink the day of the wedding was awesome and exceeded our expectations. The service was fantastic and so helpful. Lindsey handed off the evening to Angie and she didn't miss a beat! She kept the evening on pace and kept me in the loop when needed. It was wonderful....everything we envisioned....and we didn't break the bank to give our daughter and her husband the night they dreamed of.... Thanks to Chuck Lazzaro and the the staff at the Ritz-Charles! Forget downtown Indy venues....when you have the Ritz-Charles in Carmel to host your wedding reception, why go anywhere else! They know how to do it right!

5/5 does not describe the quality of work that the Ritz Charles provided. Elise was our contact/wedding planner at the Ritz and she was phenomenal along with the entire staff. She answered all of my questions quickly, no matter how many questions I had or how many times I contacted her. While planning my wedding, I knew this was one area I did not have to worry about. I knew that everything would be as we had discussed. They had great wedding packages- I loved that the packages were all inclusive (but you also have the option to pick and choose as you want and not use a package). The chef catered to our guests needs and we had a few guests with severe food allergies. The food, setup, staff, cake, linens etc were incredible. All of my guests commented on what a great venue we had, how good the food was, how friendly and helpful the staff was- this included positive feedback from family friends that work in the catering/wedding business. There is a reason the Ritz Charles has a great reputation. AMAZING!

I would recommend the Ritz Charles to everyone! Our wedding planner that they assigned us, Lindsey, was spectacular! She bent over backwards to do what you needed and they were always on top of everything. We also had our ceremony in the chapel that was absolutely beaut

We got married inside the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion. Whether this is the venue for you or not depends on what you are looking for, but what I can tell you is that the wedding planner we worked with was AMAZING, the food was absolutely delicious, and the look and feel that the entire thing provided (decor, set-up, and the pavilion itself) was our dream wedding venue. I could not have asked for a more responsive, helpful, easy to work with, and most of all caring and wonderful wedding planner - she made our wedding day not only easy and carefree but absolutely terrific. One word of advice - there is neither heat nor AC in the pavilion and the sun shines directly inside (the entire thing is made of glass) so it got really hot until the sun set - might not be the best choice for the height of summer. Otherwise, their bartender and servers were super nice, they provided us with a fire pit so we could do s'mores, hung our Chinese lanterns, and set everything up just right. Oh yeah and our wedding cake was gorgeous AND delicious!

The Ritz bent over backwards to make our day great. From making sure guests with allergies had appropriate meals to working with all our requests to make our day perfect, they did a wonderful job. Our guests loved the venue and the staff!

I had my wedding on July 5th 2014 at the Ritz Charles and I absolutely loved it. Lindsey was AMAZING to work with. I currently live in Kansas City so being an out of town bride made planning super difficult. However, Lindsey was there for me every step of the way and never seemed annoyed with my thousands of emails and questions I had. She even let me come in on July 4th (A HOLIDAY) to make sure everything was set up correctly and add any "additional" decor that I wanted. They made everything go so smooth and I didn't have to worry about a thing! It helped so much that they provided the catering, bar services, and CAKE!! If I had to do it all over again, I would without a doubt still pick the Ritz Charles as my venue.

The Ritz Charles was amazing. Everything about the food was fantastic. The hors d'oeuvres were delicious, dinner was amazing, and the cake was the best we tried when we were looking for a cake. Casey was extremely helpful and friendly. She did a great job helping us select tablescapes. Everything looked fantastic.

I truly think the Ritz Charles has to be the best venue to get married in central Indiana. Throughout our whole planning experience, everything was made so easy for us. Elise was our reception coordinator (we had our reception in the Garden Pavilion). She was so wonderful, friendly, and easy to work with every step of the way. When we were unsure about the food at the menu tastings (particularly the chicken), she arranged with the chef for us to come in for a private tasting. The food, and especially the chicken, ended up being delicious!!! We were so pleased and felt like the Ritz went out of their way to make sure we were happy with it.

Anne was our chapel coordinator and she was just amazing. She was so sweet and fun to work with. I thought her job was mainly just to open and close the chapel for us, but she did so much more!! From welcoming guests, helping with seating since we didn't have ushers, she also set up our decorations, and so much more. Any issues that arised (such as the shuttle from our hotel running late), she calmly mentioned to me so I was informed but made sure I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. She made everything run smoothly and seamlessly. I even showed up with a wedding picture of my mom and dad that we wanted to display but didn't have a frame (last minute wedding problems!!), and she ran over to the main building and found a frame for us to use.

Angie was our "day of" manager for food, beverage, and EVERYTHING at our reception. She was so sweet and made sure my groom and I were taken care of the whole time. She anticipated our needs before we even knew we needed anything. As soon as the ceremony was over, she was in the chapel with signature drinks for us to enjoy before we took pictures. Then she returned with drinks for our whole wedding party! She not only attended to us but I know she made sure our guests were well taken care of throughout dinner and the whole reception. Loved using the Ritz so much! They had so many features included in their venue, like cake, linens, table cards, candles, table mirrors, etc. The staff was friendly on the day of, and the coordinator I worked with was so helpful and flexible to meet with. I loved that 6 of us got to taste different food options before we decided on a meal to serve at the wedding. I would choose them all over again if I could!

Everyone was very easy to work with and very flexible. They helped us with planning every aspect of our wedding at Coxhall Gardens and made the day enjoyable for everyone.

We worked with Lindsey for our planning and had Renee the night of our event. Both ladies did an excellent job. When we went to sample our menu (food and CAKE!) they had set up a table with the linens we had selected so we could see how it would look, and the food was delish! The staff the night of our reception was wonderful as well, I've gotten many compliments from our family and friends about the evening. Looking back I really wouldn't change a thing, you can't go wrong here!

The Ritz Charles in Carmel, IN was by far the best option for a wedding reception that combines class with excellent food and ambiance. The staff at Ritz Charles was very accommodating and willing to work with us on all details. I can not stress enough to anyone looking for the best value for a wedding reception that the Ritz Charles offers a wonderful venue with a beautiful well maintained facility, fantastic options for dinner and drink service, and a event planner that takes care of all the details for you leading up to the big day. After comparing several venues, dinner and bar services, room size, and overall package deals, the Ritz Charles blew the competition away. And in the end, the Ritz Charles did not disappoint as the reception was flawless with great food, bar service, table service, and everything going as planned. When in doubt of your decision, choose Ritz and you won't be disappointed!

I love love love the Ritz! We had a large party and we fit with ease! They take care of SOO much for you - it was nice and felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders. Lindsey was amazing - very easy to work with, quick to respond, and made sure all of our vision came true. The new renovation is gorgeous - very neutral and goes with any theme!

The Ritz Charles was AWESOME! I had my wedding in the chapel and my reception in the Garden Pavilion. Anne was helping with all the little details for the wedding, and Lindsey helped with the reception. Both went off flawlessly! I don't know what I would have done without their help! Everyone I spoke to at the Ritz Charles was professional, patient, and helpful. The food was great; so many of my guests commented on how great their meal was. They also did our cake, which was beautiful and delicious! It made the planning so much easier to get everything at one place, and I can't say enough about how helpful everyone was. I could not have asked for a better event. Both Anne at the Chapel and Paula for our Reception ballroom were absolutely fabulous. No detail was left out, everything was perfect. After many visits around the city trying to find the best place for our wedding, we decided the Ritz was perfect... one may never guess by the perfection, but the Ritz was also one of the BEST values in the city as well. We saved THOUSANDS of dollars having it at he Ritz versus a landmark location or other event hall. The chapel is absolutely beautiful and is very simple to allow the bride (and groom) to decorate the space to their taste... the reception facilities have so much flexibility and options to make this space your own as well. I wouldn't have done it anywhere else in hindsight... Paula made our event truely ours, was available to help at every turn, and I couldn't have asked for a better venue!

My experience with The Ritz Charles was very good. The facility (the Garden Pavilion) was beautiful, the table setups were a setup were as we discussed and even exceeded my expectations. Everything that we discussed per our contract, for instance colors of linens, decorations, table runners and centerpieces that I provided, were just as discussed. In a word, they were perfect. Luckily we were able to have access to the venue one day prior to our rehearsal and they were accommodating with us bringing in wedding props (garden arbor, planters, centerpieces, etc). This was extremely helpful for our party so we didn’t have to do it the day of the rehearsal. The staff of The Ritz Charles were completely knowledgeable, helpful, and fabulous in every way.
During their Bridal experience in March, when we were able to sample all things available to us on the menu for our wedding dinner, it was very well run. The food was amazing, and the servers that presented the food were very knowledgably about sauce contents and what meats and vegetables were commonly paired together. It helped us narrow down our choices from chicken to cake. Paula was extremely helpful and friendly. She answered my seemingly never-ending questions and if she didn’t know the answer to one of them, she got back to me in a timely manner.
On the day of our wedding, the manager, Renee, was completely helpful, completely accommodating, completely awesome. Our wedding ceremony and all the events following went smoothly. She kept things moving and everything on time! Renee and a few members of the staff were extremely helpful in packing the gifts and centerpieces at the end of the evening. Everyone was kind, clean, well groomed, and well mannered. The food completely lived up to our expectations. It was hot, tasty, and delicious! The entire meal was served in a timely manner. The cake not only tasted far beyond our wildest dreams, but it was a work of art. The baker, using only a picture from the internet, totally replicated my idea and made it even better! I was 100% pleased. All our guests were wanting seconds! The bar and the bar tender were fabulous! Good humored and seemed to be just as excited to be there as we were. We received many compliments on him.
Our only issue with The Ritz Charles was that they lacked/ didn’t provide a bride’s room because we only signed a contract to rent the Garden Pavilion. Other than that, we had a completely satisfying experience with The Ritz Charles. I would highly recommend them for any celebration especially a wedding!

Ritz Charles does the catering for a number of venues around the Indy area, including the Monon Center where we had our reception. I had heard nothing but great things about them and we were so pleased with the quality and creativity of the food. They worked with us so we got exactly what we wanted to serve our guests at the reception and from all the compliments we got from our guests everything turned out great! Their servers and staff were great to work with- polite, accommodating, and efficient. We wouldn't change a thing!

I used the Ritz for my daughters wedding this past weekend. They did a wonderful jub and everything was just as planned. We could not be happier with the Ritz. The food was exactly as we wanted. My daughter was as happy as I have ever seen her. The room was stunning.THANKS!!!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this venue. We got married this month and have been planning since November 2009. Jessica was incredible every step of the way. Her timely responses helped planning move along easily. Her expertise provided comfort in making decisions about colors and table linens and flower decor. Her patience made me feel like it was okay to change my mind and like I wasn't being a crazy bride. She totally worked within my budget and actually got us under budget which we were just thrilled with. The food was wonderful. The cake tasted great. There are just endless options to meet anyone's needs and the full-service catering being onsite was so great to have it all combined. The day of the wedding she and her boss, Mark, helped make every last detail work out perfectly. I felt like they would have bent over backwards for me to make me comfortable and I am forever grateful for such a flawless wedding because of them. I will miss talking to Jessica so often now that it's over and will recommend her and The Ritz to anyone getting married in the Indianapolis area. I absolutely loved working with them and getting married there. Five stars doesn't do them justice.

We had our reception in the Garden Pavilion at Ritz Charles and it was amazing. The decor was everything that we had requested and the atmosphere was stunning. Everyone that was working with us to make our wedding perfect did a fantastic job and all of our guests kept complimenting us on picking such a wonderful reception place.

The Ritz Charles in Carmel provided a beautiful venue for our reception. The food was above average and the decorations were amazing. They allowed us freedom to be creative with the seating chart and flowers, etc. They have several options for different sized receptions and also a beautiful ceremony venue on the property which we didn't use but have heard several other good reviews about it. The staff was very professional and courteous. They are close to many hotels and I-465 which makes it convenient for family and friends. Thank you so much Ritz!!

The Ritz Charles is a premiere facility. They stake their reputation on the word of their clients and service is key. Everything is top notch and they do everything in house. It was amazing to have a one stop shop that excels at everything. From our first visit to check out the facility to picking up our decorations a week after our wedding, we had a great experience with all of the staff, the facility, and the food. The price is worth being able to hand over the details to the professionals. They were very responsive to our desires and input. They offered ideas and advice and yet always allowed us to make the decisions.

Wow!! Cannot say enough about the Ritz and their staff. We had our wedding last weekend - the ceremony was in the chapel and the reception was in the ballroom. They both come with their own coordinators to help make your day special. The Ritz was so accommodating. Maddie was our main contact, and she was so responsive and helpful! The food was so delicious, and the cake was wonderful. I felt so relaxed the day of my wedding knowing the Ritz staff was there to take care of us.

Ritz Charles catered our wedding reception and facilitated the entire day. We had several compliments about how classy the venue was, how great the food tasted, and how accommodating the staff was. Throughout the whole process Meghan was fantastic. She was very responsive to any questions that I had and had some great ideas for the wedding. I was planning our wedding/reception from about 1000 miles away, so it was important for me to have all of the details covered. Meghan saw that anything I asked for was made possible. I really appreciate the entire staff who participated in our big day. It was a perfect, stress free day thanks to them!

The Ritz was absolutely fabulous to work with. They made my cake (exactly as I described and delicious), found the wedding colors I wanted from their enormous selection, catered a sit-down meal including appetizers and alcohol, and provided the reception venue. The planner that I worked with was very professional, gave good advice, and assisted with tastings and planning. I was able to drop off wedding decor a few days ahead of time and they put it all up, free of charge. They were truly a pleasure to work with.

We got married at the Bluffs at Conner Prairie in October 2023. The venue was GORGEOUS. Our guests went on and on about how beautiful everything was. We were very impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism exhibited by everyone we worked with throughout the planning process and event itself. Our event specialist, Elizabeth, always responded within a couple hours to every email over the year we were planning. That definitely put us at ease when things got stressful! Our event runner, Katie, was amazing! She moved mountains to get me a tide to-go pen when I spilled sauce on my dress! Service during the reception was super quick. Our only complaint was that the chicken and beef were overcooked and the batch cocktails we ordered were pretty weak. Other than that, everything went very smoothly. We definitely recommend the Bluffs and Ritz Charles.

Would highly recommend an event through the Ritz Charles. Our event was at The Bluffs at Conner Prairie in Fishers. Elizabeth was our contact person throughout the entire planning process and she was wonderful! She was reliable, easy to communicate with with, on top of all of our needs, flexible with all she was allowed to be flexible with. I wanted to also mention Sara (our day of coordinator) and kyley (our ceremony coordinator). These ladies were wonderful!!!!! They were so thoughtful, easy to work with, went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met! Thank you! I would highly recommend that team of ladies for your next Ritz Charles event! I would also recommend you check out the Bluffs. Such a beautiful remote venue!

Very glad I booked the Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion. It was beautiful and the staff did a fantastic job the day of. They brought large fans into the space when it was getting hot, and when one burned out they immediately replaced it with another. Very attentive to detail. The food was fantastic (I got tons of compliments on the food!), which was a big improvement from when we came to the large food tasting event and it seemed to be lukewarm boring old wedding food. We were so happy about that. Everything was flawless and the serving staff did a tremendous job. :)

Was the perfect venue for our daughters early April wedding. The weather happened to be perfect and were able to have the bar outside. Our guest's loved the convenience of the Wedding Chapel and Reception venue in one easy location. Excellent service and food. We had to make a last minute menu change and the Ritz chef and staff were very flexible and willing to work with us.

Ritz Charles did the greatest job for our reception venue. They were extremely helpful and took care of every need. They even helped gather our presents and cake topper for my parents to get in their vehicles. They were super accomodating and I would recommend them to anyone!

Our reception was beautiful--Classy and elegant, yet relaxed.

My wedding was too short so they opened up another room for the guests to mingle, get their place cards, begin serving the wine and orderves. It wasn't really planned nor did they charge us for it. I was planning out a wedding in 5 months, out of town, attempting to graduate from college. They send me email updates, emailed me with questions or contacted my mother, my cake was so beautiful, just what I wanted, she figured it out with several pictures that were emailed and pick several parts to them. It was perfect!

Everything moved to smoothly, which was my plan to be a great host to my guests, they never had to wait for food or drinks!! They took all my stress away, minus the me actually walking down the aisle. :)

Elise was extremely helpful in helping me plan a wedding from Muncie. The venue is absolutely beautiful and has many spaces to accommodate any size wedding!

We have our ceremony at the Chapel and Reception at the Garden Pavilion. My point person during the entire planning process, Maddie, was AMAZING! She made planning so much easier and also helped with final touches. The food was also excellent and the wait staff was very professional! Our wedding was in August and the pavilion was a little bit warm, but being able to also go outside was a major plus. Overall wonderful experience, and received many compliments!

Maddie at the Ritz could not have been more patient, kind and helpful. We used the garden pavilion and it was absolutely gorgeous. Maddie and crew put up some of our decorations, and then packed our belongings back up for us to pick up. The food is very good, atmosphere wonderful and staff so helpful. Early in the evening we did run out of the premium beer we had purchased and the staff ran out and got more.

The Ritz Charles is an amazing venue with amazing food!! The catering was absolutely beautifully done and very delicious. The cake was stunning and probably the best cake I've had in a LONG time!!! The only reason for the 4 stars is that they over served a couple of my guests and knew they were over serving. I understand an adult should know better but the bartender should know when to make the call too. They could have came and got to bride or groom to tell him he was cut off. Other than that service was great!!

The Ritz Charles staff did a great job of organizing our entire day- from ceremony through the reception. The venue is a little pricy, but we loved having catering, our cake, linens, champagne for the toast, and alcohol all included in the price we paid for plate. The staff does a great job of catering to any needs you have, and they allowed us to come in before the rehearsal to set up the chapel, which was nice. There were several events going on the weekend of our wedding, which made things a little hectic (as they had just started to set up our reception as the ceremony was beginning), and my only complaint is that our guest book (which was a personalized football jersey) was set out for signatures on the front (after specific instructions had been given to sign on the back, that was you could see our new last name, allowing us to frame the jersey in our home), which was a little disappointing. However, with that as my only complaint, I would say they did a great job!!

We worked with Anne and Lyndsey. They were awesome. They were so on top of things and always answered questions promptly. I was so thankful that they were assigned to our wedding. They also provide your wedding cake if you do your reception there and ours turned out awesome!!!

The venue is gorgeous and all of the staff made it perfect. The st add at the Ritz does all of your set up and take down at the end of the night. There was no worries throughout the day. I enjoyed working with Lindsay one of the reception coordinators.

Ritzs Charles was great. The ceremony ( Coxhall Gardens ) was so great and they did a great job with making sure that people did not run, rude bikes, or walk through our wedding since it is a public park. My day was great they were very helping through the whole thing. The reception ( Village of West Clay Meeting House ) was great to. They made sure everything was what we wanted and more. They worked very well with us. I highly recommend them. The food was great too. Also we didn't have to worry about anything it was great. We were able to have fun and mingle with our friends and family.

The Ritz Charles was amazing. They truely know what customer service is and are very accomodating. The food was great! Especially the tomato soup!!! They also made our wedding cake, which looked fabulous!!! It looked exactly how I wanted it to. We also used there Chapel for the Ceremony. The Chapel Coordinator was very helpful. She was very organized and ceremony went smoothly. I would recommend the Ritz Charles to anyone!

My reception at the Ritz Charles was like a dream come true! The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful and the cake was AMAZING and gorgeous! Everything was perfect.... I STILL have people telling me how beautiful my reception was, over a year later! I would definitely recommend them to any bride & groom who are looking for a venue for their reception!! You will NOT be disappointed!

Ritz Charles was very responsive and gave more information than any other company I spoke with during the planning process. They were very friendly, the food was amazing, and easy to work with. There were some fairly major issues that happened, including losing and melting the wedding cake so we did not have a wedding cake. We received a refund on the cake which was mostly a fair compensation, but I was pretty disheartened that we didn’t get to have a cake at our wedding. The quote we received initially was also increased when we went to pay later on. They added more utensils, linens, silverware, etc as back ups in case anything broke or got lost/dropped etc. This was on the initial quote but the numbers were increased even though the guest count stayed the same, I thought this was a little shady and lacked transparency. While it was our responsibility to review the final quote, there is a lot going on leading up to the wedding where this was not noticed.

Very unique touches! Had NO problems or issues on day of, everything ran smoothly, and the food was amazing!

Paula at Ritz Charles was a dream with which to work. However, while she was off on maternity leave, her replacement was not as easy-going (a minor inconvenience). The staff did not let us worry about a thing on our wedding day. We never had to question when anything was going to happen. Things seemed to be done effortlessly.

We rented Coxhall Gardens for our May wedding. We booked the place more then a year out. For the most part service was good (they even allowed us to email them diagrams of where to put stuff up) until the week of the wedding. We were told the Monday before the wedding that our rain back-up plan actually wasn't booked. We were told we were supposed to pay extra for it (the week of the wedding) -- huge surprise considering it had never come up before and I had emails referring to it. They did end up making other arrangements for us and luckily it didn't rain...and everything was beautiful...but still...be careful and make sure everything is in writing just in case. I would recommend to a friend ONLY b/c they control ALL Coxhall Rentals...it did work out for us. Just be careful...

Overall, the venue for the ceremony (chapel) and reception (garden pavilion) was wonderful! We got great feedback from our guests and had a wonderful time. Working up to the wedding day was a little difficult, as the responsiveness from our reception coordinator was slow. Additionally, when the food was served at our reception, it was a fraction of the size of what we originally tasted and agreed upon. In addition, it was missing some of the essential parts (sauce on the chicken, for example). I would recommend this venue for the atmosphere, however be prepared to be patient and ensure you ask lots of questions!

We had our ceremony in the chapel and reception in the garden pavilion. Cassandra was absolutely fantastic and provided great service throughout my planning process. She handed my day of coordinating off to another associate, but the ceremony was executed very well. I was a bit nervous about the switch, but there were no issues at all. Outside of wishing I had met the other associate sooner, I would say I don’t have any complaints about my ceremony at all. We started on time and things ran smoothly. I do believe that having the relationship with the coordinator is really vital as I would’ve felt more at ease on the day of my event. Maddie’s executive presence is one beyond her years. Leading up to my wedding day, Maddie replied to emails and phone calls promptly and she is extremely knowledgeable. I signed my contract back in 2016. Naturally, I spent a ton of time with Maddie updating details and food options, etc. She was so patient with me and she really helped me pull things together. Due to my longstanding relationship with Maddie, she actually requested that she work at my wedding (per my request). HOWEVER, She is not a day of coordinator at ALL! They say you will get a day of coorodnator, but you will NOT! This is the start of my frustration. I do believe that I shared with Maddie that I would plan on having another set of hands available to her on the day of my wedding (second coordinator), but that she would still be running the show. I didn’t see Maddie until my reception had already started and we were finishing up pictures (3 hours into the evening). She communicated with my photographers assistant that she needed my attention to get things moving along. Given the hands on approach Maddie had given me throughout my planning process, I was sorely disappointed that those same behaviors did not take place on the day of my event. Second, during our cake cutting ceremony there were no instructions on how to cut the cake, the utensils were not there the entire time ( I had to ask for them). Overall, she was just very hands off. I had 6 hostesses help manage the flow of my day and help your team move things around and based on their feedback, Maddie was not very engaged during this process either. I was going to hire a day of coordinator company to handle my wedding day, but when I signed with the Ritz and you guys advertised that I would have a day of coordinator, I decided not to hire an outside day of coordinator. I really regret that I didn’t hire someon because I didn’t have the support that I thought I would receive. Among other things, I expected Maddie to help me with the flow of my day, etc. and that just did not happen. I later shared this frustration with the Ritz owners. Basically, I was told that they met with their staff and their staff did their job. I just want to warn future brides that you need to really understand what you are getting here. If I could do it all over again, I would’ve taken my $41k and spent it elsewhere. I can’t begin to articulate how that statement makes me feel because I will never ever get this day back again !

My next caution is if you have a spring or summer wedding in the Garden Pavilion beware !!! It is so hot and many of my guest were miserable. Although the Ritz cannot do anything about the weather, they certainly can do something about their service under these conditions. I would consider the Ritz Charles to be the Cadillac and the top of the line event providers within the City of Indianapolis (and surrounding areas). I wanted to have my wedding on your property so badly that I put my engagement off for two years so I could save and pay to make that dream come true. Given the unseasonably warm weather we experienced, I would’ve expected their team to pass out water cups to guest as they walked from the Chapel to the Reception or bring water to the bridal party while we were standing in the sun having photographs taken. The devil is in the details. It was the very small acts like the example I just shared that were missed. Again, I know this rating is not typical of the Ritz which was part of the reason I chose this venue. I’ve spent several months reflecting prior to submitting this feedback. I just have to share my experience for future couples.
