Amazing Florist!

I cannot recommend Rita’s Floral Touch highly enough! Rita took the time to understand our vision for our wedding flowers and brought it to life in the most stunning way.

My bouquet was absolutely breathtaking and elegant. My bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful and included roses that complimented their dresses and fit perfectly with the overall theme.

I did a mix of centerpieces on some round tables and greenery with small vases of flowers for the tables. The centerpieces were elegant and unique, adding just the right amount of sophistication to our reception. The florals not only enhanced the overall atmosphere but also stayed fresh and vibrant throughout the entire event.

What really stood out was the attention to detail and the personalized service. Rita worked with us every step of the way, ensuring everything was perfect and stress-free. Rita is such a gem!

Working with Rita for my wedding florals last month was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Not only were the flowers absolutely beautiful and just what I had envisioned, but Rita herself was so thoughtful, generous, and helpful throughout the entire process. She added lovely personal touches to my bouquet and treated us with such warmth and professionalism. She also punctually delivered our flowers to three different locations the morning of our wedding, ensured the flowers stayed fresh all day, and gave us some extra blooms to decorate our cake. I cannot rate Rita and her business highly enough, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone planning a wedding or event in the area.

Rita was a joy to work with for our wedding. She was respectful of our budget while still making our venue space gorgeous and the bouquet of my dreams. Highly Recommend!

We loved working with Rita! One of our friends had used her for their wedding and I loved the floral arrangements. I was thrilled when she said she was available for our wedding. Rita is so easy to work with and really takes the time to create beautiful and detailed arrangements. We received so many compliments on our flowers! Rita also helped me design our center pieces (fish bowls with sand, shells, and a candle) and even put them all together for us. She listened to my ideas and incorporated all the little details I wanted. We HIGHLY recommend working with Rita!

The most beautiful day!

Rita made our day come to life. I don't know much about flowers but it was important to me that the flowers brought the day to life. Rita was so easy to communicate with, clearly has years of experience and is incredibly kind. I had a vision of using my great grandmothers wedding dress to hold my bouquet together and Rita did just that. She used a few different pieces of the dress to make the most beautiful wrap. Rita was amazing! She went above and beyond my flowers could not have looked better. She spent so much time helping me make my florals perfect for my big day and within the budget that I was comfortable with she even took time to show me everything so that I knew how it would look before and where I needed to invest more money to make it my dream she was amazing to work with and I would recommend her to anything here are some pictures of her beautiful work!

Rita was absolutely incredible to work with! Her extensive experience made the planning process so easy and if I ever needed to make any changes to my plans, she was extremely fast to respond, very flexible, and so easy to work with. Perfection!!

We couldn’t have been happier with how beautiful our flowers were. Rita was patient with me and took all of my thoughts and wants and made those come to my life. I didn’t really have an exact vision and she really helped me hone in on what I was looking for. Most importantly she listened to me and didn’t try to get me to change my mid. She was super flexible with ALL of the changes and unknowns of 2020 weddings and couldn’t have been more kind or understanding.

Gorgeous Flowers in a dark time!

Rita brought light to the darkness of 2020. She was ready to make all 3 of our previous wedding dates work, and when the actual day finally got here, she delivered gorgeous flowers to my venue in Watertown, and pinned the boutonnières on the men. The centerpieces and my bouquet lasted over a week!

We cannot thank Rita enough for the beautiful flowers she put together for our wedding in September, they were a dream come true! Rita was absolutely wonderful to work with. At first we had a general sense of our style but not a clear image. Meeting with Rita was such a relief. She thoroughly listened to our ideas and gave us inspiration. Every detail for the church and reception was covered and she had fantastic suggestions. It was very helpful that Rita made an estimate that outlined our plan and overall it was an excellent value. Our vision changed as we got closer to the wedding and Rita smoothly and patiently worked with us to truly create perfect flowers. All of our flowers; the bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, cake decorations, and arrangements for the church were incredible. Rita was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She brought my wedding flower vision to life - matching my color theme and complimenting every detail. Every time we met prior to the wedding she was so focused on my needs and truly loved designing and creating the flowers. Although I loved my bridesmaids and my bouquet, Rita out did herself on the centerpieces. Amazing job!

Wow!! Rita went above and beyond our expectations for my daughters' wedding! We weren't sure just how she was going to put together 'greenery' for my daughters' 'whimsical' wedding but she did it!! The arch greenery & flowers were amazing! Not overbearing but just right for what we were looking for. The beautiful greenery around the centerpieces were also beautiful. Just the right touch of flowers to greenery. And my daughters' flower crown & bouquet? Way beyond our expectations! The bridesmaids bouquets were just as beautiful! We showed her a photo of the cake and she did it perfectly! Even the venue was amazed! Rita is a sweetheart to work with. She was patient and kind with all the changes we had. From adding bridal party flowers to taking away arrangements to adding them again! lol She was great! Always kept in touch. She was prompt the morning of the wedding and her and her crew did a lovely job of decorating. Everyone loved the 'whimsical' look of all her flowers/greenery. She brought my vision to life

I’m not a big flower person so trying to explain my vision was going to be a task for me. Found Rita at an expo and the work she had on display was amazing let alone the warmth in her personality. Met with her at her beautiful studio in her home where right away it clicked! I explained to her all that I liked and wanted to see at my wedding and she came up with whimsically organic. And she did just that! Rita’s eye for the beauty in flowers is amazing and she nailed it 10000%! From start to finish, she had been working with my mother and I to create the perfect arrangements for my wedding day. She was open to ideas and took all my trinkets and warped it into something beautiful! My bouquet was phenomenal ! I’m almost sad to not have it but trying my best to dry it out. Fit my personality perfectly

I loved my wedding flowers just like a bride should. She showed up on time helped me set up. My husbands son just graduated with his horticulture degree (growing of plants and flowers), he complimented the flowers. He said how you don’t typically see some of the flowers she used for my wedding. He was actually able to name them ( I was not). Above & Beyond expectation

When getting married, flowers were the last thing on my mind. Our venue was so intricately decorated that initially I was not going to even have flowers just a bouquet. As we got closer to our wedding date, i decided to add in a few floral arrangements as well. I did a lot of research and went with Rita's and I am so glad I did. Even though I hired her just a short month prior to the wedding, the work she delivered with amazing! Her pricing is competitive and she really listens to you to make your vision come to life. I hadn't taken much time to really craft what I wanted for flowers so I sent a number of photos and from that Rita was able to deliver creations that were plucked right out of my head. I even had a few of my own centerpieces (candelabras) that she decorated with wreaths to tie into my vision. She was easy to work with and responsive. Her pricing is fair and the work she delivers is beyond what you expect. I was literally taken aback when she walked in with my bouquet day of. She even advised me about what I didn't need (the men were wearing pocket squares so she suggested no boutonnieres). Her honesty and guidance coupled with her work will help make your day perfection.

If you are in need of a florist, you found the right person! I cannot say enough great things about how beautiful my flowers were for my wedding day. Rita was amazing. She was very easy to communicate with. We met with her in person at her office and got to view the different options. She suggested a different flower than what we were looking for - her suggestion made the cut. It was absolutely beautiful! She made 2 bouquets and 4 boutonnieres - they were perfect!!! We also had her make an arrangement for our farm table and it was better than we expected. We saw it at a bridal show and immediately knew we wanted it! I got married on 11/25/17 and I cannot even begin to tell you how beautiful the flowers were. From the bouquets to the cocktail tables to the center pieces to the boutonnieres. All fabulous. Rita was so accommodating to some last minute changes for our day. We had some last minute things that she was able to add to my bouquet, like my grandmothers rosary, a pair of earrings and a ring that was my moms as she grew up. I was so thankful that she was able to add that. If I could rate Rita 10 stars I would! you just cannot go wrong with her! Shes a wonderful person and her flowers are just a really big bonus!

My now husband and I didn't really know what to.expect, but we chose Rita based on her reviews online. She had the most and they are were 5 star. She just happened to live right in our town. We were planning a pretty small wedding, only 52 guests, and a maid of honor, best man and my 3 step children made up our entire wedding party.
She listened to our ideas while having creative suggestions of her own. When the big day came, I was floored by how beautiful everything was. My bouquet was stunning, I had a string of pearls that my mother and law had given me, but since I had already picked out my jewelry, Rita attached the pearls to my bouquet. I had purchased a small bolt of persimmon colored lace to match my maid of honors dress and Rita used it it to wrap her bouquet, as well as the smaller bouquet my stepdaughter carried as a junior bridesmaid. The enterpieces big and colorful, the floqers she put on the cake, the petal and greenery that she set out for decor brought our fall theme to life. Considering our wedding was small, we had a smaller budget than most of her jobs I assume, but we got everything we wanted and even more AND stayed within the lower end of our budget!
Rita was such a pleasure to work with, and she is just so talented. We definitly recommend her you will not be sorry! We havent gotten the pro pictures back yet obviously, but the photos below are of the bouquet and the centerpieces. They are a few days old now but they still look pretty good. They were so bright and fresh the day of, I wish they would last forever!

Let us start by saying that Rita and her husband are absolutely beautiful souls. Our wedding was September 16, 2017 at Candlelight Farms Inn. The moment we met Rita, we KNEW she was the one for us and our wedding. My bridal dreams of cascading floral bouquets, whites, greenery and succulents were something Rita easily fell in love with as well. Rita offered suggestions that matched my vision and went to town to deliver an absolutely stunning display at our wedding. Every piece of floral decor at our wedding, from my bouquet to the green leaves on our memorial ladder, is STILL being talked about to this day. Rita has true, raw talent and it is one that not many could dream of having. A sweet personality, she always lent a hand when needed. Her time, effort and talent truly show in what she does. Upon our first meeting with Rita, we knew she was right for us. We explained that our budget was tight, but our expectations high, though flexible, yet Rita did not judge us for this as some other vendors had. She knew that it can be tough to put a wedding together when the couple is footing the bill, and worked with us extensively to help create our vision while staying in budget. She patiently suggested alternatives to more expensive blooms and made an effort to really understand our needs and desires - in fact, talking with her helped me to better understand what we were looking for. On the day of, she worked with my family to coordinate a good pick-up time and ensured that everything was as it should be. The flowers were beautiful: everything I had imagined them to be, and she even added a little jeweled heart to my bouquet. It was a little gesture that meant so much because, to me, that showed that she still cared about our day, she cared about us, and she cared about her work. Where do I start with Rita and her business? First off, Rita surpassed all of our expectations as she took on the florals for our wedding at Candlelight Farms Inn in New Milford, CT. I had a very specific vision and design in mind and Rita did an incredible job at making my floral dreams come alive. After having a floral demonstration months before our wedding, I knew Rita was going to do a great job. But with my constant tweaking of our proposal (Rita is incredibly flexible!), I didn't know how it would all come together. To put it simply, it was everything I have ever dreamed of. On our actual wedding day, Rita and her team went above and beyond making sure every detail was right (centerpieces, greenery on each place setting, greenery on signage, cake flowers, etc.). She did not leave the reception site until all was perfect. Rita is a dedicated, reliable, easy, flexible vendor who I thoroughly enjoyed working with. She became like family to us. Rita is very friendly & accomodating, arranging to meet with my husband & me on a weekend, sans bride. Armed with only a few pictures, color scheme, budget, and several desired flowers, Rita made a number of suggestions of alternate flowers to keep within our budget. while sticking with the brides main floral choices. She was quick to answer any questions and patient with changes.....which we left up to her expertise. The bridal bouquets which were purple, blue, green & white, included just enough peacock feathers & swords to carryout the theme, and the table centerpieces, which were wreaths around lanterns, all just couldn't have been more beautiful. She even included a flower of each color for the cocktail hour tables! Our daughter was in awe of her bouquet claiming it was exactly what she wanted! We chose Rita’s Floral Touch for the flowers for our wedding, which took place at Candlelight Farms Inn in New Milford, CT. To be honest, we’ve known Rita for quite some time prior to our engagement. However, anyone knows that she is the best of the best when it comes to floral arrangements. Not to mention she is one of the kindest, patient people you could possibly have the pleasure of knowing. We simply showed her the types of flowers we wanted for our wedding and she knew exactly what to do. Not only did the arrangement come out beautifully, but she decorated our tent poles with weeping birch, football mums, and hydrangeas and it came out stunning. Rita made my wedding day everything I always dreamed of! My husband and I are both clueless when it comes to flowers. When we first met with Rita, we didn't have too many ideas in mind, we didn't even have ideas for colors. Rita spent the time to get to know us and looked over the color of our bridesmaids dresses, then showed us pictures of different ideas. We still were unsure of what to pick or do, but every idea Rita showed us was stunning. A few weeks before our wedding we met with Rita to see a demo of our center pieces and we were absolutely in awe of what she had designed. Somehow, without much explanation or help from us, Rita was able to design the most perfect arrangements that not only were gorgeous on the day of our wedding, but really represented our personalities and style.

Can't say enough wonderful things about Rita. She was great to work with and very creative. We were very specific about the look we wanted and showed her pictures of three different centerpieces. She took it from there, coming up with great suggestions of flowers and options that made each one even better. Our guests and even the staff at the reception venue commented on how it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever seen.
When she delivered the bouquets to the ceremony venue, it brought tears to our eyes because they were more beautiful than we had imagined and added the finishing touch to our photos.

Flowers to me were so VERY important! I can't find adequate words to describe how wonderful it was to work with Rita. She is delightful. She is a gifted florist who loves her work and it shows in her heart, her skills, her smile and her consideration. She had magnificent ideas to compliment and exceed my expectations! We had some attendants who wanted silk flowers and you could not tell the difference between the silk and the fresh! Rita went above and beyond to accommodate 30 tables of 12 guests each, a head table of 19 and two "tables of honor". I did not have the same design at each table. We changed the designs about 4 times before we finally agreed it was "perfect"! There were many different layouts. We worked together so beautifully to create a gorgeous atmosphere! My favorite creation designed by Rita was the "Remembrance Display" in front of the Unity Candle in the church! OUTSTANDING! Rita selected flowers that captured the spirit and meaning of those who physically could not share our day. Rita is beautiful.

The first time we met, I remember going and seeing all of my initial visions come to life right there on the table. She payed attention to my ideas and the pictures I had sent her, but still added in her own judgment, creativity and florist talent that as a bride I needed. She was fairly priced, her husband and dog are both dolls, and she even kept all summer long the obsense amount of bottles and boxes and ladders I had collected for the big day. We used Rita’s Floral Touch for our wedding in July.

Rita was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire planning process and delivered some beautiful and extremely tasteful flower compositions for both the venue of the ceremony and that of the reception. Her compositions blended seamlessly with the atmosphere of the venue (a Lake house) and with the plants and flowers that were already there.

Rita was extremely accommodating to all our changes and wishes through the very day of the wedding, and was very skillful to come up with creative solutions to deliver the look that we wanted while working on a tight budget.

Furthermore, some of the guests were from Italy and got a kick out of being able to speak Italian with her :)

Rita was absolutely amazing and totally got the vision we had for our wedding during our first meeting. We left the meeting feeling 100 percent confident that our flowers would be perfect...

And now that our wedding has past,there are no words to explain how stunningly beautiful the floral arrangements Rita did for our wedding on May 15th were. Our tables were decorated with centerpieces, candles, rose petals, etc and they were perfect, our sweetheart table was more beautiful than we thought was possible, and our memory area (with pictures of family that have passed away) was a gorgeous tribute. Many of our guests told us how impressed they were with our flowers and we were blown away ourselves.

The flowers for my daughter, Emily's, wedding were outstanding! Nothing I have ever seen can compare to the beautiful, colorful fall bouquets she made-we were almost speechless when they entered the room!! You know this is true when even the males in attendance commented on them!
The photographer said they were the most beautiful flowers she had ever seen.
Working with Rita was a pure joy, she makes you feel relaxed and comfortable knowing you will trust her to make spectacular arrangements and she did not disappoint. I wish I knew how to post a photo of them on here right now!! They were just stunning!

you will not be disappointed to have Rita make your special day perfect with the most beautiful flowers! Rita is such a talent and has so many wonderful ideas! I came to her with a few examples and ideas and she of course took them and ran with them!! I had known her work before and recommended her to my sister before I used her, so I knew I was in for amazing flowers. But on the day of my wedding my expectations were more than exceeded! The bouquets, corsages and boutineers she created blew me away! The colors and flower choices were fresh, gorgeous and phenomenal! She takes her time and takes so much joy and pride in her work, which shines through! She was still there making sure everything was right when I arrived on my day. She was so excited to show me my bouquet! Rita has so much to offer and is the most reasonable florist around! Not to mention she is the nicest, sweetest woman! She worked within my budget, my taste and my visions to create exactly what I wanted! She helps you pick flowers to match your idea and stay I. Budget without sacrificing any style! She even went above and beyond to decorate my cake! My flowers went into my fridge over my 15 day honeymoon and I came back to still gorgeous, in tact flowers! They even dried so beautifully, they are on display in my home! You will not be disappointed and will be so happy you picked Rita's floral touch!

Rita designed the centerpieces for the tables for the rehearsal luncheon for my son and his fiancee's wedding. I went to the consultation appointment with a few pictures and color swatches. Rita immediately understood the look I was going for. The arrangements Rita designed were so much more than I could have imagined. They were beautiful and full, the colors were perfect with a great assortment of flowers and interesting greens. Rita was a pleasure to work with, professional and friendly and created amazing arrangements at a reasonable price. I recommend her highly.

Rita did all of the flowers for my bridal shower in July 2013 and then for our wedding in September 2013. From the first meeting with her, she made the entire process easy and enjoyable. Her in-depth knowledge and creative talent made it easy to plan a wedding in CT from across the country! She provided all of our bouquets, ceremony floral arrangements/decor, the reception centerpieces and lobby arrangements. Everything came out beautifully and was more than I could ask for on our special day.

Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning!! We came to Rita with no clue what we wanted and she invited us into her home studio to show is samples, books, colors and arrangements. She was so sweet and helpful and made us feel comfortable and confident that she would make something amazing, but also a true reflection of our playful, rustic theme. She added details like curly willow, eucalyptus berries and blue thistle to make our arrangements unique. I was amazed at how perfect the bouquets were.... They were so flawless, my guests were asking if they were silk flowers! Her prices are more than fair and Rita is an absolute joy to work with! Highly recommend for any floral needs !

Our flowers were SO beautiful! I know nothing about flowers (neither does my husband), but Rita was able to take our very vague directions and turned them into gorgeous floral displays. She designed our chuppah based on a picture I found online and it was the perfect rustic/elegant combination that matched our wedding. I also found an idea on Pinterest that I couldn't do on my own, and Rita made it happen (2 pumpkins, each having one of our first name initials carved in it). A wonderful florist who was very professional and easy to work with.

When I started planning my wedding, I really wasn't sure who to use for a florist. I got a quote from someone known to be good, but the pricing was way to high. My sister knew of Rita from a friend, so I decided to check her out. She was THE BEST! She spent so much time helping me figure out what I wanted. I met with her three times before the wedding and every time she was excited, helpful and great to deal with. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does. I only got bouquets from her, so it probably wasn't a big job for her, but still she spent a great deal of time and effort to make my bouquets amazing. She had FANTASTIC ideas, too. Like using the fabric from my bridesmaid dresses to wrap the bouquets. I had a little piece of fabric from my mothers wedding that she incorporated into my bouquet beautifully. Truthfully I never would have expected to love a florist as much as I loved her. She was wonderful. She also was very well price for what she provided. I had spectacular flowers. We were running late the day of the wedding. She even waited an extra half hour just to make sure we knew what to do, and helped my groomsmen with their flowers. She was great!

I used Rita's Floral Touch for my wedding on April 21, 2012. She was AMAZING!!!! She is super, super friendly, warm, and smart. She is up front, and honest. She is VERY reasonably priced and her work is INCREDIBLE. Her flowers are fresh and GORGEOUS! I just can't say enough how much it was a pleasure working with Rita. She works out of her home and she makes you feel right at home. Her garage is filled with refrigerators of flowers for you to see and touch and smell so if you have questions or confused about a certain flowers she has them right there for you to see. She has great ideas and loves hearing your vision while providing great tips to ensure your vision is fulfilled. She makes you feel like you are the only bride she is working with because she never looks or acts stressed. She's on top of everything which puts you at ease right away. She really is just wonderful. WORK WITH RITA, SHE'S THE BEST!!!!

Rita did a fabulous job with the flowers and decor for our wedding. We were on a budget, and she was able to provide beautiful flowers that didn't look like we were skimping. For the tables we went with rings of petals rather than centerpieces. All the flowers for the wedding party were stunning - rich, vibrant colors. Rita also provided simple bows to decorate the outdoors, where our ceremony took place. My favorite was my bouquet. I'm not much for flowers. I gave Rita a general idea of what I wanted, and she did a fabulous job. Most importantly, she found a way to incorporate 2 small pictures of my grandparents, which was very important to me. I got MANY compliments on it! What I loved most about Rita though was working with her was more like dealing with a friend than a vendor. She took a genuine interest in my husband and I. She provided a calming presence the day of the cremony too, which was needed, as we were running behind schedule.

Rita’s Floral Touch was recommended to us by a friend who got married a few months before us. We were easily able to schedule meetings with Rita, and she helped us to make flower selections that were within our budget. She helped us to design our flower arrangements, keeping everything simple yet elegant. Throughout this process we made several changes to our arrangements; we changed what we wanted for centerpieces, added an additional flower girl and ring bearer with no issues. Rita was able to use glassware that we provided for our centerpieces and even used material from my dress to wrap around my bouquet, giving it even more of a personal touch.
The morning of the wedding we noticed that we did not receive the miniature bouquet for one of my flower girls. Upon being contacted, Rita quickly created the bouquet and made a special trip to our venue to deliver the flowers, getting them there with time to spare before the beginning of the ceremony.
You can really tell that her heart goes into the work she produces and that she wants to make sure everything is perfect for each couple. She was such a pleasure to work with, and we would highly recommend her services!

LOVE in a bouquet

Ritas Floral Touch did my wedding back in July 2022, and my flowers were my FAVORITE part of my wedding. I absolutely loved my bouquet and my centerpieces and decor. I HIGHLY recommend Ritas she was better than my expectations!

Amazing florist

I cannot recommend Rita enough. She was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and was very flexible when we had to change some things around. She truly cares about her clients and ensures that they get the best product. We met Rita at the Ethan Allen’s Bridal Show was incredible to work with as our florist. She was very friendly and easy-going, and had some great suggestions for our various arrangements. She listened to what we envisioned for our fall wedding and worked with us to come up with a theme that was beautiful and our style, as well as within our budget. We were delighted when we saw the mock-up!
Rita arrived at the Ethan Allen Hotel on time and stayed to ensure that everything was delivered as we had requested. The flowers were gorgeous and beyond our expectations! We received compliments throughout the evening on the table centerpieces, and the bouquets for me and our maid of honor were stunning!
Rita was very attentive and worked closely with us each step of the way to ensure we received exactly what we wanted. We would highly recommend her!

Great value- much more competitive than others in the area after significant research. Also really really beautiful designs that were exactly what I wanted after one brief meeting of describing what I wanted. I wanted someone who I could give an idea of what I wanted stylistically and who could do that for as affordably as possible and got that. Would definitely recommend you can just say what you want and not worry it will just show up perfectly on your wedding day!

Rita did an amazing job with the flowers and centerpieces. She showed up right on time to where I was then delivered and set up the centerpieces at the venue. I didn't have to worry at all or check in she was very professional and the flowers were amazing. Loved how easy it was to meet with her and the options she offered. She really allows you to customize every aspect and helps you think of ways to differentiate your wedding. And if you ever need time to make a decision she gives you the chance to think and get your ideas together, which is definitely crucial in wedding planning.

Rita does beautiful work and was very helpful in helping us choose our arrangements. We spoke with her many times and met in person and she was always patient with us as we were not sure what we wanted. She knows her flowers well. They looked beautiful upon their arrival, and all of our guests love them! She's friendly and kind and warm. We highly recommend her. Like most things with weddings, everything is expensive, so when you're on a budget you're always trying to cut corners. Frankly nice flowers are expensive, and that's just the way it is.
